Bonus Halloween Blog #31 Claymore manga review

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, here's another great horror manga series. I even argue is way better than the anime show based on it. Claymore, it may get considered to some similar stories. But in all honestly, this was a beautifully written story. I am deeply impressed with everything about this particular manga series, I highly recommend it to people.

Claymore
The story centers on a Claymore named Clare who seeking revenge on another Claymore name Priscilla. Parts of the story, you see her as a little girl. She befriends a Claymore named Teresa. Eventually Clare grows on her during her travels. Claymores are given targets by the Organization. Usually to hunt down Yomas that sorta acts like a mix of vampires but more directly ghouls.

It was revealed if a Claymore loses control. If they don't get stopped in their transformation will become a Yoma. A good amount of the anime show is present in the manga. But you also get a lot of interesting story you wouldn't get otherwise. More about the organization as well as why they wield claymore swords plus more.

Clare does push herself notably harder than most of her kind. She's often treated as among the weakest, there's a major twist with that. Like most of them, humans doesn't want them around. Except they quickly hunt Yomas then leaves villages or whatever their targets are located. At first, they appear like humans with some notable changes.

The more they push themselves, the more at risk at losing control they become. Personally, I like this concept because it heavily plays on will as well as trying to not push yourself too hard or you'll lose yourself. Claymore does have some amazing fights through out the story. Most of her kind wears very similar outfits with the same Claymore with the only notable difference being their symbol.

Claymore does have a lot of unpleasant moments. Some of them could even be seen as nightmare fuel in some way. One of them even disguised themselves as a corpse within a crypt yeah isn't that crazy or what? Most Claymores don't often share much emotions, usually very serious in what they do. It's rare to see them happy for a little bit.

Clare is like a lot of main manga characters with an amazing potential. She does care for a kid similar to her situation during her child hood. Priscilla became widely known as the strongest of her kind. The biggest surprise is she isn't. Yeah, I felt I got to spoil the beans now. Most of her kind did previously wondered how Clare became one of them.

It was revealed Clare brought the remains of Teresa to the organization to become one. But also in a way, effectively bringing her back to life too. Their bond was something truly special, this alone greatly pissed the bitch off. Teresa was hunted because she didn't want to follow the Organization's orders anymore.

After some crazy reveals relating to that, I felt that was justify. The artwork is even better than the anime show. The story is way more interesting in comparison too. The manga series fully explains everything surprisingly. Any major question you may have likely gets answered in the actual story. Claymore is a true master piece, I can't say enough positive things about it.
