Jack Red presents Favorite Resident Evil Bosses

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, you seen some of my favorite Resident Evil monsters. Now it's time to reveal some of my favorite Resident Evil boss fights. Of course everyone has a different opinion. I do expect a lot of people won't like this, all I asked for is be kind folks. This will be set up just like the other blog.

Resident Evil 1
Yawn first encounter

Yes there's technically two Yawn bosses with two main versions of his second boss fight due to Remake. I always had a deep feeling most of the times I take on Yawn in his first encounter. Usually people when they talk about RE1, one of the first bosses they talk about is Yawn. The fact you are going up against a giant snake in a place like this was nuts.

Yawn may or may not been the inspire behind a couple of giant snake movies. He technically gets a successor in RE6 whose able to turn invisible at will. Snakes are already one of the most dangerous creatures in the world. By making one snake into a giant creature is why I love horror movies & games.

Resident Evil 2
William form 2

Yes there's five forms of William in Resident Evil 2. I'm choosing his second form since that's the first form of him I seen growing up. I used to confuse this with a tyrant clearly very different beings. William in this form oddly enough fights like a tyrant. I would say it is the best looking form of his. Although his third form does come close.

Even his 1st form is one of the toughest monsters in the game. His second form has one of my favorite PS1 era boss fights. William form 2 is hands down, one of the scariest looking monsters ever. This form is notably faster than his previous form. I also love his cut scene where he transforms into this form.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Nemesis at Clock Tower

Technically two boss monsters you face multiple times. You could be facing Nemesis the entire time playing it. Of course the one Nemesis boss fight I felt deserves to be called his best has to be at Clock Tower. This boss fight can end speed runs faster than you think. Nemesis is at his best not giving you much room to do anything.

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X
Alexia Ashford form 2 and 3

I felt this was a obvious choice even for a game like CODE: Veronica X. Chris has to take on two forms of Alexia at the end of the game after saving his sister. OMG her second form takes a lot more damage than anything in the game. You could be possibly tanking a large amount of damage in just this one boss fight.

Oh wait it gets more intense, Alexia transforms again becoming immune to most of your weapons. She flies around to constantly splitting at you. It turns out the linear launcher is the only way to kill her at this point. All you need is nail just one shot on her & beat the game. However she is among the fastest of enemies in the entire game.

Resident Evil 0
Queen Leech form 2

Both Queen Leech forms can tank a large amount of damage. There appears to be no such limit on Queen Leech form 2. Mostly Bill has to hold her off while Rebecca opens the shutters to bring in sun light. Of course for a final boss fight that's easier said than done. You can be firing the most powerful weapons for awhile.

You simply can't flat out kill Queen Leech in this boss fight. Also when she attacks back at you, be prepare to tank some damage. This is still one of my favorite final RE bosses in the franchise. Queen Leech form 2 is also the scariest looking creature in the entire game. The timer isn't as important than most RE games.

Resident Evil 4
Verdugo

Verdugo is my favorite boss fight within Resident Evil 4. His exoskeleton is incredibly durable tanking even the most powerful weapons at ease. He is one of the fastest enemies in the entire game. Verdugo is also one of the few bosses in the entire franchise you don't have to kill. But if you somehow kill Verdugo, you get a major part of a crown.

Which fully put back together is one of the best treasures in the game. Verdugo is hands down the most awesome looking boss monster of RE4. His cut scenes puts chill down your spine among first playing this boss fight. Verdugo will stay on top of where you are up til he comes straight after you. Keep paying attention to the button commands on the screen.

Resident Evil 5
Wesker & Jill

Wesker & Jill is the one boss fight on Professional difficulty that gave me trouble. It's essentially two bosses at once, which still isn't common among RE games. Wesker is similar to most of his boss fights. At the same time, Jill will be tricky to avoid. I'll make it as painfully clear as humanly possible.

The best way to win to go straight into fighting Jill is tank enough damage on Wesker. This boss fight is very frustrating to stay on top of. Obviously killing Jill will result into the continue screen. This isn't the paradox easter egg by killing Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid 3. Two very different fast bosses that's very accurate with their attacks.

Resident Evil: Revelations
Ultimate Abyss

Ultimate Abyss is essentially T-Abyss' variation of the tyrant creatures. OMG this was a great final boss for an RE game. This guy you have to stay on top of every single second. He also has the most attack patterns of all the bosses in the game. Ultimate Abyss is hands down the single most difficult monster to kill.

Believe it or not, in the famous Ghost Ship level of Raid Mode. If you are level 50 which is max level among defeating Ultimate Abyss. You will instantly take on a tougher, stronger variation of him. The regular him is already very difficult to take down just imagine facing that version. Ultimate Abyss is also the best looking monster in the entire game.

Resident Evil 6
Ustanak featuring Leon & Helena

Let's be honest I really didn't care for most RE6 boss fights. Funny enough I chose one of the select few boss fights shared among two campaigns. Ustanak is incredibly similar to RE3's Nemesis. Yes there's a few boss fights with him but which one made my list. I almost went with the final boss fight that led to a fist fight.

Then I thought how funny it was taking on him with Leon & Helena. I felt out of all RE6 boss fights, this was the one I would keep coming back to. Ustanak uses two of his weapons in this boss fight. Thankfully the developers left stuff capable of doing big damage to him. Of course having the right weapons will help you a lot.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2
Mutant Pedro

I almost went with Monster Neil but I came to like Mutant Pedro more. You can play as that version of him in Raid Mode. Yes he acts similar to chainsaw enemies but he has a driller device. He does have some weak points making him a little easier. I do like the cut scene when Pedro got too freaked out to become this monster.

If Claire & Moira doesn't finish him in their portion of the campaign. Barry has to kill him in order to get his driller. However if you did take him down with Claire or Moira, Barry will find his driller. Thankfully in later runs you don't have to keep picking it up. Mutant Pedro is one of the craziest bosses in the entire game.

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard
Jack Baker's second boss fight

Some REVII bosses were alright but I came to like Jack's second boss fight. You could use a chainsaw or another weapon of your choice. Jack will break through pillars with his custom giant shivers. Possibly a reference to another Capcom series Clock Tower. Some of my favorite lines said during a boss fight is present here.

This was an entertaining boss fight before leaving to the next main area. Jack has a screw up death like scene since he does come back a few times. Ethan had to put up one hell of a fight to stay alive. This is still one of the craziest boss fights in the entire game. I would go as far to say one of my personal favorites indeed.

Jack Red presents Favorite Resident Evil Monsters

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, sure you could do your best & worst RE monster lists. Why not talk about some of my favorite Resident Evil monsters. Now this isn't going to be set up like a short or long list. I will be covering my favorite monsters in every main Resident Evil game. Before anyone freaks out, I am doing another one covering strictly my favorite Resident Evil bosses.

This will be a lengthy blog entry please take as many breaks as needed. I really don't want to be the cause you end up in a hospital.

Resident Evil 1
Hunter Alpha

Hunter Alphas are hands down the scariest monsters in most versions of RE1. These creatures will chase after you to hunt you down. I chose not to involve Crimson Heads because even they fail in comparison to Hunter Alpha. Which is still one of the best Hunter models in the entire franchise. When you come back to the mansion, one of the scariest cut scenes plays out.

It is highly recommend to be armed with a shotgun. Trust me against one of those creatures it's your best friend. Yes sometimes they can be annoying but they're intelligent monsters. Hunter Alphas is one of the most aggressive creatures in the entire game. There's just enough of them to keep players on the end.

Resident Evil 2
Licker

Lickers was always a personal favorite of mine since my child hood. They're a part of the T-Virus evolution follow Regis Licker. Believe it or not, Lickers keep appearing in many things Resident Evil including live action movies. Lickers reminds me of Marvel's Venom for a few reasons. They're also the first among monsters that can't see.

Possibly among the scariest since Lickers can crawl on the ground or ceiling. Lickers are basically RE2's answer to RE1's Hunters. There is also Super Lickers that can tank more damage while dealing much more. Lickers are among the creepiest of monsters just among PS1 era RE games. Also do I even need to mention the famous first cut scene with a Licker?

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Hunter Gamma

Easily one of my favorite obscure Resident Evil monsters. Usually Hunters are reptilian/human hybrids, Hunter Gammas actually being ambition instead of reptilian. This particular Hunter model can swim as well as swallowing a full grown person whole. Yes there isn't many of them in 3: Nemesis.

Hunter Gammas are one of two Hunter models in Raccoon City at the time of it's destruction. For the first ambition RE monster I felt it was beautifully designed monster. It may not look like that in game but in some spin offs you can kill these creatures. Hunter Gammas is easily one of the most underrated RE monsters in history.

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X
Bandersnatch

Believe it or not, Bandersnatch is actually classified as a failed tyrant model. They were created for being rubber like creatures that could've been used in armies. However due to their creation, they're missing an arm. Yes they're among the toughest of regular enemies in CODE: Veronica X. Bandersnatch does have a great introduction cut scenes.

One of my favorite cut scenes is Steve jumps in through a window gunning down a Bandersnatch. These creatures has the longest attack range of all the enemies in the game. Just attempting to knife one is suicide. A few areas has a handful of them that's difficult to avoid. Even Chris gets force to meet one because of Wesker.

Resident Evil 0
Mimicry Marcus

Not to be confused with Leech Zombies in Outbreak. Leeches controlled by Queen Leech through Dr. Marcus inside her. Several areas has a man made entirely out of leeches. These creatures has the longest attack range while also being the most difficult regular enemies. Unlike most RE creatures, there's several death animations for Mimicry Marcus.

Sometimes they can move faster but usually prefer to take their time. The first cut scene with one is among my favorite cut scenes in the game. Mimicry Marcus is also a taste for the last two bosses. They can be tricky to avoid sometimes. Also in most ways to kill one, their legs grows big enough to explode possibly doing a lot of damage.

Resident Evil 4
J. J.

J. J. is a recurring enemy in most RE4 modes. There's no way around the obvious, he is a gatling gunner. This guy is among the toughest of regular enemies. Due to his weapon, he has the longest attack range. He can tank a lot of damage far greater than most enemies. Thankfully he prefers to be ready to fire fast.

There's several of them with some cases of more than one at the time. Especially within a particular level in The Mercenaries. J. J. acts like a mini game in later portions of the campaign. This guy isn't afraid to kill some of his allies. Sometimes if you aren't careful he can fire away at you even at angles you thought you were safe.

Resident Evil 5
Chainsaw Majini

Chainsaw Majini is a tough enemy that appears in some modes. Similar to his RE4's chainsaw characters, he can tank a lot of damage greater than most enemies. Just like them, he can instantly kill you on the spot. Chainsaw Majinis are among the angriest majinis within the game. These guys moves the fastest among all enemies.

Resident Evil: Revelations
Ghiozzo

Ghiozzo are aggressive fishes that appears in some parts of the campaign. Yes they're among the weakest of enemies but they were the best looking monsters. A lot of them all over the place is over whelming. Ghiozzo has an awesome intro cut scene. These creatures are much worse in the water but they can still attack out of it.

Resident Evil 6
Zombies

There's two main enemy groups in Resident Evil 6. Zombies is similar to other zombies by different viruses. Let's be honest among most regular enemies doesn't stand out in this game. You know a game isn't great if zombies are the only creatures worth mentioning. I do like some of their designs but the fog effect makes it even creepier.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2
Ironhead

Believe it or not, I do like Ironhead for many reasons. In a sense they're a spiritual successors in some RE games to executioners. These guys are among the toughest of regular enemies. Also I strongly felt they look the best out of all the enemies. Ironhead is present in most modes. I also like how he uses his weapon.

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard
Four legged Molded

Yes I know many RE fans aren't crazy about molded enemies. I always liked seeing the four legged molded creatures. Out of all molded creatures, these are the only ones I find creepy. I felt they were great enemies in most modes they appear in. Sometimes you got to deal with a lot of them at once. You have to be on your guard around just one of these monsters.

My favorite Resident Evil Bosses in extra portion of campaigns by Jack Red

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I figured to do a quick Resident Evil bosses follow up blog. This time I'm looking at canon mini games to possibly important dlcs to cover more bosses. I already know this is going to be an interesting line up of bosses. I hope a lot of fellow fans enjoys reading my work as much I do making them.

Resident Evil 1
Second Tyrant (Sega Saturn version only)

Some versions of RE1 that's not Remake has some console exclusive bosses. In DS port/remake, there's a second giant snake in the same spot you defeated Plant-42. In this case I have to go with the most surprising boss added. Only in Chris' scenario you have to fight two tyrants right after each other.

This alone makes Chris' already tougher campaign more difficult than most versions. Thankfully you don't have to fight both of them at the same time. Also they won't run tanking a lot of damage. If you mastered defeating the tyrant then you should be great at this. Second tyrant does make things a little tougher late in the game especially you aren't going for the good ending.

Resident Evil 2 (The 4th Survivor)
Tyrant-103

In Scenario B of both characters, you will run into this tyrant. But in The 4th Survivor, you face him twice. First time is around half way through the mini game. He is your final enemy of this mini game being close to the end. Thankfully you don't have to kill them but doing so will take a lot of damage. He appears at the spots you really don't want him to be.

Tyrant-103 aka Mr. X is a precursor/related tyrant model to Nemesis. Who indirectly inspired another Umbrella division in Russia to create their own rip off. This creature is one of many mass produced tyrants that's following now legendary Tyrant-002's legacy. He walks the slowest of everyone in the entire game.

Resident Evil 4 (Separate Ways)
Osmund Saddler

Honestly I really prefer this boss fight over Leon's. Saddler is difficult to predict that can tank a lot of damage. This guy will keep you on the end unless you have Chicago typewriter. Saddler is very different from most bosses in the game. Believe it or not, he will test how well you played the game in many ways.

It could take awhile to finally do real damage from his main eye inside his mouth. Trust me it will take a lot of your ammo to even get that far. I felt Leon's boss fight was too easy for a final boss. But this is more of what I was expecting for a final boss. Saddler takes place right after a particular cut scene.

Resident Evil 5 (Lost in Nightmares)
Wesker

You get to face Wesker right after he kills Spencer. This is very similar to most of his boss fights. Even to the point, depending how much damage you do to him determines many things. This is possibly the most difficult Wesker boss fight yet. You won't have much ammo at this point. Wesker is more on his guard here.

It is an achievement/trophy if you can do enough damage to him. Thankfully you don't have to waste ammo since either way you will win. It still doesn't mean you can't lose because you can. Wesker is easier to do physical attacks in this boss fight. This will test you in many ways making things more difficult.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 (The Struggle)
Durga

Durga appears in most modes of Revelations 2. Yes this boss is incredibly cheap but one of the easiest to kill too. In The Struggle, you will fight a couple of Durga. You could have a lot of ammo or being low on it. This creatures could instantly kill you. Durga has a big weakness that you can destroy it.

One of the weirdest looking creatures in the entire game. This creature also has the longest reach of any enemy. Durga can be very annoying at times. It is actually possible to deal with more than one at the same time. Easily the most difficult part of this dlc. Durga can be tricky to hit sometimes despite how predictable it is.

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard (End of Zoe)
Final Jack Baker boss fight

Among Not a Hero & End of Zoe, majority of boss fights are great. I really like Jack's final boss fight for many reasons. Hey Capcom why is this similar to rock sock em robots or Nintendo's Punch-Out series. Depending on things, Joe could have one or two gauntlets in this fight. Jack can be tricky to knock down in harder difficulties.

I'm not going to lie I grew up with fighting & beat em up games. I automatically loved this the first time I beat the final boss. This is so much fun that if I could keep redoing this fight I would. One of the sickest looking bosses in the entire game. This is a very intense fist fight with a beautiful ending lol.

Jack Red presents Top 5 Resident Evil mini games between RE 1-3 & RE 4-6

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I figured to give myself a test. I decided to do two lists solely on Resident Evil mini games. In rare cases, some of these are better & more replayable than the campaign. Also I am surprised no one attempted doing even for a charity a live stream marathon of them.

The first list will cover RE1, RE2, RE3, RECVX and RE0. The second list will cover RE4, RE5, REV, RE6 and REV2. Don't worry when the time is right I'll do another one starting with RE7. The rules for these lists are very straight forward.

1. Considering there's five RE games on a list, they must have a mini game up for it

2. If one of the selected RE games lacks mini games I may allow another mini game from other RE games

3. This is solely my lists meaning you may not agree with some of my choices please be friendly

4. All selected mini games must act like a totally different game to spice up the experience

5. Sorry mercenaries fans, I won't allow The Mercenaries, Raid Mode and Battle Mode mini games on either lists for fairness reasons

6. Even with canon spin off games I won't allow them on either lists

7. Most importantly these mini games must pull more from their respective games than another RE game

4. Master of Knifing (Resident Evil: Deadly Silence)
Unless you play it's DS port/remake. You probably didn't know about it's multiplayer or Master of Knifing mini game. You play as Chris or Jill in a few levels only armed with a knife. Considering some changes in DS remake version included on this cartridge. You can easily knife anything coming at you similar to Chronicles series.

This mini game will test more than your knifing skills. It also tests how quick you react & they do send a lot of enemies at you. If you complete it on hard mode with a B rank. You unlock Wesker for it's multiplayer. This should be the mini game for RE1 you always wanted. Master of Knifing will help better your skills for DS remake campaigns for both characters.

3. The Tofu Survivor (Resident Evil 2)

Recently confirmed to return in RE2 remake. Tofu is still one of the strangest playable characters in RE history. You are a giant piece of Tofu that changes color depending on how much damage or you get poisoned. Obviously this is a parody, harder version of Hunk's mini game. Still one of the hardest strictly knife mini games in franchise's history.

You have to take risks, learn to avoid enemies at tight spaces & memorize the path. I recently seen someone do a no damage run of this I'm not kidding. Tofu is technically the strongest playable character in RE2. You won't be able to get anything to help you much on your way. In fact you should expect to die a lot.

2. Leech Hunter (Resident Evil 0)

One of my favorite mini games ever, Leech Hunter is better than the campaign. You play as Rebecca & Billy searching for a 100 leech charms. 50 blue leech charms for Billy while Rebecca must collect 50 green leech charms. You got most of the training facility to explore with no time limit. I felt the enemy placements are the best here.

Depending on how many leech charms you escape with. Actually determines what exactly will be your prize. Yes it is possible to unlock all five of them in a single run. The worst prize is extra sub machine gun clips are placed in the campaign. The best prize is every fire arm will have infinite ammo.

More recently through it's remastered version. Both characters can switch out their costumes including dlc ones at any given time. Which helps spices up such a classic mini game. They really do test how well you know the environment, taking risks and your determination. Trust me I only got the top prize once out of every run I done in it among all versions of RE0 I played.

1. The 4th Survivor (Resident Evil 2)

The 4th Survivor essentially acts as the fifth scenario in RE2. Late in the campaign, Annette tells the story what happened down there. Hunk was nearly killed by William in the sewers. He was able to survive with a sample of G-Virus. You get a handgun, shotgun and magnum right off the bat. You get one more blue herb than Tofu got.

This is the perfect length with the right level of challenge. You could speed run it if you think you got what it takes. You also could kill every enemy on the way to the end of it. You can't pick up anything extra. Hunk is a nice addition to the game for many reasons. Finally we get to play as a villain character.

To be fair there really isn't much known about him. Although G-Virus is still around because of him & Ada. You work your way out of the sewers to the helipad on top of the police station. Some areas are difficult to not take damage. I like both him & Tofu are basically hidden characters in RE2. N64 version has a few codes not present in most versions including unlocking both mini games.

Now you seen the best mini games within the rules I put in place. It's time to see how my second list plays out. Keep in mind I'm a long time fan. I am mostly doing this to help kill time before RE2 remake. I also aiming to see what I can do Resident Evil related in the mean time. Which means they might be more RE blogs coming your way.

5. Assignment: Ada (Resident Evil 4)

Assignment: Ada originally didn't allow you to knife. Thankfully from PS2 version, Ada can do that to help save ammo. Let's be honest I wasn't exactly crazy about this mini game. I do agree it can be challenging. Although Krauser boss fight once you figure it out becomes way too easy. The goal is collect five Las Plagas samples before escaping.

This outfit she's wearing also appears in the campaign with Special 1 selected or a code for The Mercenaries. Assignment: Ada is one of the few mini game appearances of hers. To sum up this mini game I would say it's like RE4 crushed down to being a much shorter game. Which leading to problems that the campaign doesn't have like terrible spike in difficulty.

4. Lost in Nightmares (Resident Evil 5)

Yes I know this is more of a dlc but I still like it a lot. In fact more than the other dlc campaign mission. I so happen to like nostalgia in anything Resident Evil. Over the years, Capcom loves referencing RE1 in many ways. For me this was one of my favorite ways of them doing that. They even went out of their way to do a cool easter egg.

If you interact with the front doors a few times. You can change the camera angles to PS1 era style. Some areas in the place will remind you of RE1. Hell you play as Chris or Jill essentially making this a semi remake kind of experience. Personally I really like how The Umbrella Chronicles did that. Lost in Nightmares may lack enemies or a frustrating Wesker boss fight.

I do like it doesn't pull anything from the campaign at all. Including the store feature to make it easier than it could be.You can destroy these small to big star objects for additional points. Which does go towards your ranking. Yes you can play this with someone else. Most of it's puzzles are very easy to figure out.

3. Firing Range (Resident Evil 4)

A rather unusual mini game for many reasons. Unlike most RE mini games where you have to beat the game or mini game or download as dlcs. In some levels of RE4, there's blue doors leading to Firing Range mini game. You can choose how to go about firing at your targets. Believe it or not, the final achievement/trophy involves collecting all of it's bottle caps.

In some following games, these led to similar figures with voice overs. I am not going to lie this can be frustrating. Sometimes yes it can be fun for a little while. Thankfully you don't have to buy him anything to play. Even if you keep on losing which is a nice touch. Firing Range is testing how quick your reflexes are, how well you aim and your determination.

2. Predator (Resident Evil 6)

Originally a dlc for RE6 as one of four multiplayer modes. In it's remastered version, most of it became already available right off the bat. Yes you need online to play this but compared to the other multiplayer modes it stands out. Why because most of them in their own way is too similar to The Mercenaries.

However in Predator, a couple players are in matches. At random, one of the players gets to be Ustanak. As one of the survivors, your goal is either survive until time's over or defeat Ustanak. In Ustanak's case you have to kill most players or make sure the ones left aren't able to get back up. Playing as this monster is a rather unique experience.

Ustanak has his own weapons from Jake's campaign. He is essentially the strongest playable character in the entire game. Also considering Agent Hunt mode where the weakest are present that's a huge statement. If you think about it, more horror games recently took notes of this. Two great examples of this is Friday the 13th The Game & Dead by Daylight.

1. Separate Ways (Resident Evil 4)

Separate Ways in all purpose the second campaign that reveals a lot more. Ada gets five nice sized levels with three boss fights. Krauser is a little different since he does change move to platforms during his boss fight. I got to be honest fighting Osmund Saddler's human form was a lot of fun. You must keep on your guard since he could attack you at any given time.

Also like the campaign, you do have access to the merchant to buy stuff. You just can't upgrade your equipment. Separate Ways does have Ada taking on the same El Gigante, Leon could face. In the same level where you also face the village chief later on. This does answer a lot of questions simply not answered in the main campaign.

I felt this was truly a great experience you can keep coming back to. Among beating all five levels you unlock Ada Reports 1-5. This is interesting because it indirectly references Wesker Reports 1 and 2. Which are very different between each other in many ways. Yes all cut scenes present in Separate Ways also gets added to that mode where you can rewatch them with those from the campaign.

Jack Red presents Resident Evil Comparisons Part 1 (Resident Evil 1 original vs. remake)

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I grew up with the first two Resident  Evil games. Don't worry at a later time I will do a comparison between Resident Evil 2. Right now I always felt deep down. I need to decide which version of Resident Evil 1 I like more. I haven't played some of RE1's ports that had major differences.

Most notably Sega Saturn & DS versions. I also never got to play the original Director's Cut on PlayStation 1. I did own two of three versions on the same console. I also did own Remake on both Game Cube & Wii. Today I will be comparing the two PlayStation versions against the more recent remastered version.

There's plenty of major differences to cover here. Both versions tell the same story. A group of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha members got inside the Spencer Mansion. They eventually discover that Umbrella was behind everything. In Remake, there's some major changes to make it more interesting. Yes they still went into the Arklay Forest to investigate murders.

They also went to search for S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team. More is revealed about building this mansion, T-Virus and several more things. Some key moments did change between these versions. Keep in mind, in both versions you have two main playable characters. Obviously they have key differences between each other for a different experience.

Depending on things you could also play as Rebecca in some parts. Most cut scenes plays out very differently between both versions. For example in Jill's campaign early on. After Jill sees the first zombie. You go back to Barry to trigger a cut scene leading to that zombie getting decapitated. In Remake, Barry simply guns the zombie down.

Among leaving the dining room back to Wesker. You hear a sound before the door mysteriously closes. I don't want to fully give away both versions. Especially you somehow never got to play them. I felt some things was done better in the original version. The entire intro done in live action was great. They made it more obvious which ending you got among completing the game.

In Remake, by adding more areas & improving some that was already there. I honestly can say made it one of my favorites. This also means it has more bosses. Originally in RE1, you had four boss monsters. Both Yawn & Tyrant can be fought twice. Depending on things since Jill only faces Yawn once. Although they changed that in Remake. Just like RE1's the same conditions for good & bad endings.

Added to Remake is Crimson Head Prototye, Neptune and Lisa Trevor. Neptune isn't much of a boss fight. Lisa's boss fight is more of quickly pushing heavy stones off to leave the area. Crimson Head Prototye was easily the scariest boss monster. You have to collect four death masks. Among putting one of them in the correct spot.

You will see a lot of blood coming out of the coffin that's high up. The final death mask placement causes the coffin to fall to the ground. You attempt to grab a key item before your way out suddenly closes. This Crimson Head comes out of the coffin the best possible way. Thankfully Chris has a quick way of killing him. Jill will have a hard time but shouldn't take too long.

Weapon wise I would say Remake takes it. I should say this was one of the closest among every category. Sure the original had better hidden weapons. Majority of them are simply more fun to use in Remake. Replayable value is notably higher in remake. Keep in mind, there's three versions of RE1. Which means it does change the unlockables. This mostly changes one of the hidden weapons & costumes.

In fact there's so many costumes in most versions. I was very surprised most of them weren't brought back for Remake remastered. Although RE0 Remastered did that in the form of dlcs. In later versions on PS1, you get a new variation called Arrange mode aka Advanced mode. Created for the solo goal of screwing up gamers that mastered it.

Believe it or not, Remake has two unlockable variations you can play.
Real Survivor mode was originally going to be the final game. Before the team decided it was too hard. In this version, it automatically set to hard. Manual aim with item boxes no longer conntected.
Which means you have to memorize or write down everything you put in those item boxes.

The other variation of it is called Invisible Enemy mode. As you can guess every enemy including the bosses are invisible. You have to mostly rely on listening & knowing your enemies. Another great thing is they do have different colors for each mode. Remake also has a few more unlockables.

If you beat the game on normal or higher with Chris & Jill. You unlock One Dangerous Zombie mode. Some areas will have a faster zombie Forest with grenades. If you kill him, you instantly get a game over. In both versions you have an unlimited rocket launcher. In original RE1, you also get an unlimited magnum.

In Remake, you get an unlimited rapid firing Samurai Edge gun. If you beat Invisible Enemy mode fast enough. You can see a thank you later by Shinji Mikami or check out unused concepts. Funny RE2 remake is using those unused concepts. Basically you have more to unlock in Remake than you do between all three versions on PlayStation 1.

Controls wise I have to give it to Remake. In most versions of Remake, the controls are great. They are easier to memorize than the original PS1 controls. They added a new control option making it even easier to move. Originally you have to move around & back up like a tank. Which means some parts in the game more difficult.

Both versions at their core has a great soundtrack. Sadly they replaced it in Director's Cut Dualshock Edition was a terrible one. Although I do prefer the original soundtrack, I can't look pass that soundtrack. I do enjoy Remake's soundtrack with excellent sound design in it's entirely.

Resident Evil originally had laughably it's so bad it's good voice acting. In Remake, the voice acting isn't anything to write home about. I'm not saying it's terrible because it isn't. It just doesn't bring much especially compared to the original cast.

I mean come on those classic cheesy lines are still funny in their own right. Sure it may take away from the game. At least it better fit the angle they were doing. Remember those live action cut scenes, they attempted to make it like a horror movie. Mostly a b movie with notably bad acting. Somehow people still likes a lot of those movies.

I can say this is tough for many reasons. Both of them are games people still play the hell out of it. Both versions appeals to a different generation of games. At the same time I felt Remake was the better experience.

You have new areas to explore that brought a lot to the game. Some of my favorite puzzles. Although some puzzles in the original game was better. Better replay value to keep on playing it. Remake is simply telling the same story in a more interesting way. The short answer is in most areas, Remake gives me more.

Winner: Resident Evil Remake

Jack Red talks about E3 2018

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, usually I don't talk about E3. To me either way I will find out what got announced later. I got to be honest some of these games I didn't expect to see. Fallout 76, Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2 remake. I just covered Resident Evil 2 remake not too long ago. There was also a trailer for SoulCalibur VI.

I got a lot to break down within this blog. As a gamer whose a huge fan of these franchises. I felt some of you do have the right to know exactly what I think. Of course this is strictly my opinion on each game I talk about. I been proud of a lot of Capcom's moves more recently while some game companies like Konami losing ground fast.

Fallout 76

Originally was going to be Fallout 4's multiplayer. Fallout 76 allows many fans to recreate their fantasies together online. The same team already brought The Elder Scrolls franchise to MMORPG. This format allows a lot more than your standard Fallout game. They already stated this will be four times bigger than Fallout 4.

If you played most of Fallout 4 then you have an idea how big this game will be. Xbox One also has Fallout 3 & New Vegas for more fun. At least Xbox thought ahead when people couldn't get Fallout 76 or 4 yet. This will be a new kind of Fallout experience. Imagine Fallout Shelter but on a much bigger scale.

A lot of people love modding these games. Trust me a lot of these mods are pretty sick. Fallout 76 will be one of the most ambitious games to ever hit any game consoles. I hope they allow you to be able to play by yourself. These are the kind of games you really need to be prepare or you will die a lot.

I thought the trailer itself sold me on buying it. My wife also wants to play this game. Can you blame her lol just can't wait to see how crazy this game can get. Fallout 3 with Broken Steel & Fallout 4 makes the game endless. I'm sure we will be getting there right off the bat. What I'm curious about is how high the level go this time.

Soulcalibur VI

A lot already has been confirmed for Soulcalibur VI. It will be a new time line similar to what Mortal Kombat did a few years ago. In a nut shell this is a new Soulcalibur 1. The guest character this time is from The Witcher series. Geralt of Rivia will be similar to some characters. This game looks & sounds absolutely amazing.

Soulcalibur VI probably went this toward because of Soulcalibur V. Don't get me wrong it was better than Soulcalibur IV but it did have some major flaws. I do believe we will be getting a Tekken 7 kind of good fighting game. Considering the same guy from Namco works on both franchises why not right lol.

This franchise was one of the first to star guest characters. More recently, guest characters has been appearing all over the place. Some horror movie icons appeared in Mortal Kombat 9 & 10 and Dead by Daylight. Tekken 7 brought in a handful of video game characters from different game companies. Soulcalibur VI will push the limits in every possible way.

I been a fan since Soul Edge game on PlayStation 1 yes that far back. A lot of people get confuse to believe Soulcalibur 1 was the original. When in truth it was the first sequel to a well received fighting game franchise. Soulcalibur VI should be one of the finest games ever made. I always speak highly of customizing existing characters or creating new ones from this series.

Obviously a lot of trailers including the new one at E3 revealed a lot of major stuff. The new trailer sold me even further to buying this game. I already knew by experience it was worth having in my collection. Also I hope in time for it, Microsoft puts Soulcalibur IV and V on Xbox One's backward compatibility.

Devil May Cry 5

Oh hell yeah the rumors were flying around. You can tell I was very excited about Devil May Cry 5. I already covered the series as well as my reasons why their better than Sony's God of War series. Nero gets to be the main character again. Although his appearance greatly changed from Devil May Cry 4. I noticed they replaced his demon arm with a robotic one.

Dante appears at the end of the trailer shown at E3 riding towards us on his motorcycle. WOW he is getting old but at the same time I can accept it was him. This guy took down powerful demons including god like beings. He is like Marvel's Wolverine in so many ways. I hope DMC5 is good enough to not have to do a special edition.

Don't get me wrong DMC3 & 4 had amazing special editions. I felt those versions we should've gotten first. I don't want to feel the same way about DMC5. I been a huge fan of this series for a long time now. I always looking forward to the awesome songs & crazy moves you get to perform. Also how creative some boss fights going to be.

Obviously some fans still want to push themselves to insane levels. It's no secret this franchise can push pretty hard. Some of the most difficulties in Capcom video games. Yes even rivaling Ghouls n Ghosts franchise I'm not kidding. I do expect they will push the insane level of challenge even further.

I also hope Devil May Cry 5 will scream in a loud voice it isn't going anywhere soon. I want to be mind blown how damn good it could be. I can tell by the trailer that we're in for one crazy game. I also enjoyed DmC reboot game more than I expected. It could be more than that with this one who really knows.

Jack Red talks about Resident Evil 2 Remake

Hi I'm Jack Red, E3 displayed some games I could be getting in the near future. Of course I was shocked when the one game I wanted for a few years finally shows up. By many this was the best part of this year's E3 including myself. I am talking about Resident Evil 2 remake. The next day a lot of people played it's demo.

I honestly got a lot to say about this that a video or two simply can't do it justice. Resident Evil 2 was the very RE game to got me into this franchise. Even by today's standards was a unique game for it's time. Four possible scenarios telling most the same story brought a new depth to it. This was the best selling RE game until RE5 shortly after it's release.

Keep in mind, for a few years we didn't see much of anything. A lot of us even wondered if there was a remake actually coming or simply a sick joke. Thankfully it's neither being made from scratch on REVII's engine. Resident Evil 2 just confirmed both Hunk & Tofu are returning. Some interesting stuff never made it to the final game on PlayStation 1.

Similar to Resident Evil remake, a good number of those could show up. This includes three forms of William that got removed due to time constraints. In the final game, William has five forms you have defeat between Scenario A & B for both characters. Only his third form is fought in all four versions of the campaign.

Technically RE2 got retold in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. Although some parts aren't canon you do face all the bosses. They did a great job retelling it the way they did with some major changes to the story. For the longest time, this was the closest Capcom came to giving us a RE2 remake.

Resident Evil 2 will cut the number of campaigns in half but they will be longer. New voice actors for both Leon & Claire since their original voice actors decline. Up til Resident Evil: Revelations 2, the same voice actress does Claire in most of her appearances. Originally a two disc PS1 game that's very different from other multi PS1 games.

In most of them, they packed a large amount of stuff on just on disc. Final Fantasy VII to IX are among the best examples. In RE2's case, majority of it's content was on both discs. They simply couldn't put all four scenarios on one disc. Funny enough, Resident Evil 2 has been ported to Nintendo 64 and Game Cube.

Why because Game Cube discs are much smaller than most disc based consoles. At the same time Game Cube sure packs a lot of power into their games. Nintendo 64 didn't have many games pushing it's limits of the actual cartridges. However Resident Evil 2 was one of the select few to do so. My point is one N64 cartridge & one Game Cube disc packed most of RE2.

Obviously in N64's case, yes there's stuff missing but it has it's own new content. Capcom later did this with Devil May Cry 2. Unfortunately they put a new team not familiar with the original Devil May Cry making it. Similar how they went about it even within Devil May Cry HD Collection. Resident Evil 2 is still among the best video game sequels ever made.

Resident Evil 2 has two main playable characters with a secondary character playable in a few portions. Ada Wong for Leon's scenarios while Sherry Birkin for Claire's scenarios. Obviously you can shoot as Ada but she's not as tough as Leon. In Sherry's case, she is a little girl that can only avoid enemies.

She sorta acts as a test to see how well you can dodge enemies. She also takes longer in some areas due to her size. Originally you have two unlockable mini games. First of these is The 4th Survivor that's a hidden fifth scenario of RE2. The Tofu Survivor is virtually the very last thing you unlock in most versions of RE2.

The Tofu Survivor is a parody, harder version of Hunk's scenario. This is still one of the toughest RE mini games in history. I know you guys want to really know what I thought about the trailer & demo right? Honestly I was really blown away how good everything was. At first I was funny about Leon's face then I came to like it.

They are allowing more grossing stuff than in REVII. Resident Evil remake already puts the bar for video game remakes high. This seems to be similar to Revelations 2 in how they went about parts of it's game play. You got parts of newer RE games with a strong older RE games influence. I personally don't mine over the shoulder view.

What I did mine was giving PS4 CODE: Veronica X first with no Xbox One release of any kind. The story is done in a way even those who played the hell out of the original game won't know. Exactly what's coming next similar to parts of Resident Evil remake. Can you believe some fans already want RE3 remake I pass.

Resident Evil 2 does a great job being something old while being done differently for newer consoles. According to sources, one of Claire's pre order costumes will be Elza Walker. Those who played Resident Evil 1.5 probably know her. In this demo before they completely changed the game originally had Elza Walker as one of two playable characters.

Can I be honest here? I really thought RE1 remake would've given us some of it's costumes in many versions. I was very surprised none of those made it to that version. Instead we ended up getting Chris & Jill's costumes from Lost in Nightmares mini game. Oddly enough both of their S.T.A.R.S. guns with Wesker's is also a part of RE2 Deluxe Edition.

I felt in most areas all of it was very good. I was expecting something that wouldn't even come close to my expectations. I am glad they went beyond them, I am very impressed with what I saw. Hopefully within the next few months, we'll find out more about it. This game was in development longer than the original RE2 game.

I don't mine that considering it's amazing legacy still holds up today. Resident Evil 2 did a lot for it's time especially more recently. The original RE2 was one of my favorite PS1 games growing up. I don't question how much I'm going to love it's remake. I do believe we might have what could possibly be the greatest Resident Evil remake in history.

Jack Red presents Chucky & Puppet Master passion

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, two of the most popular, long killer toy franchises. Roughly a year apart, both of them has a huge fan base. They so happen to be what got me into killer toys in the first place. In fact I recently gotten from Bloodwave DVD, Killer Toys Collection that has the first seven Chucky movies.

I got into Chucky by first seeing Child's Play 2. I kept rewatching it during my child hood. It still is one of my favorite horror movie sequels. A neighbor gave me the first five Puppet Master movies on VHS. Yeah remember those things that used to be majority for watching movies without cable? Now it is all about DVDs & Blu-Rays.

I seen most Puppet Master movies including the amazingly terrible unofficial crossover movie. A good crossover movie with the Demonic Toys has already been done in the 90s. Which so happens to be in my killer clowns collection from the same guy. I have a strong history enjoying both of these franchises.

Of course my ideal dream killer toy face off would be Chucky vs. the puppets. I am not going to lie, both sides has a huge body count that easily trumps many killer toy movies combine. They also appeared in comics displaying such brutal kills. Currently two of the absolute longest horror movie franchises.

Puppet Master has eleven movies in the main canon alone. There is a reboot/sequel set in an alternate universe coming out soon. Chucky is on the verge of getting his own show that continues the story of the movies. Puppet Master: Axis Termination was mostly funded by the fans. I said it once & I'll say it again, this is one truly bloody movie for any killer toys movie.

Honestly I never considered doing this fight for my long versus series for one simply reason. You could imagine those two facing each other. I still did some obvious fights that some people wanted. Chucky is one of my personal favorite slasher villains of all time. Puppet Master has some of the coolest killer toys I have ever seen.

I do recommend taking breaks while reading this. Chucky should have a group of Chuckies & Tiffany to help him out. These puppets took on a great variety of enemies over the years. Chucky movies are pretty straight forward while Puppet Master being more of it's own mythology. Chucky has been killed off several times.

Only Leech Woman has been killed off in the canon. Chucky is like a small human with a greater pain limits. These puppets can be rebuild since instructions to their designs is involved within their case. The same case having the instruction to the formula to bring them to life. Which is easier than bringing Chucky to life or doing another spell to possess something else at the same time.

These puppets have a neutral repetition due to fighting against the bad guys. In other cases, they're the ones killing people. It depends on who is the puppet master. Chucky is clearly stronger than their strongest Pinhead. Whose shouldn't be confuse with the Hellraiser villain of the same name. Each puppet does something different to help them stand out more.

Torch has a flame thrower going to a few feet. Six Shooter fires six revolvers ridiculously fast. Tunneler uses his drill tip head. Leech Woman can force out leeches from her mouth. It's not what you think you sick bastards lol. Blade has one hook for a hand with a knife blade for the other hand. More recently he replaced one of them for a needle as a reference to Re-Animator.

The first five Chucky movies were release in theaters. From Curse of Chucky to up, they became direct to video movies. However Puppet Master series always been direct to video since the beginning. The unofficial crossover originally aired on Syfy channel before getting a DVD release. When you think about killer toys usually these two comes to mind first.

I already reviewed most of their movies in a few blogs. Yes some Puppet Master movies aren't great like The Legacy was terrible. Mostly filled with previous movie scenes with very little new scenes. Even Retro Puppet Master had more going for it. Of course I should bring up Curse of the Puppet Master.

Curse of the Puppet Master is a rip off of another movie called Sssssss. Two incredibly similar movies with not much separating the two. I would go as far to say they basically stolen Sssssss. Even if it didn't have that problem. This was the first Puppet Master movie after their partnership with Paramount ended.

Which meant Full Moon had to put more of their own money & resources into making it. I felt from Puppet Master 6 to 8, this was an disappointment to the first five movies. Sure there are some things I wasn't crazy about in 4 & 5. But they're done much better than those movies. I should talk about the Axis trilogy.

If you seen the entire beginning portion of the original Puppet Master. These movies are meant to fill in the gap from that part. Which led to US fighting against the Nazis & Japanese. I felt as a whole Axis trilogy really made up for Puppet Master 6-8. Even with my own problems with each of them. Puppet Master: Axis Termination is one of my favorite Puppet Master movies.

This movie didn't hold back for giving the fans exactly what the wanted. A truly bloody entry displaying the puppets at their best. This also had one of their best puppet masters to date. They did a very good job delivering on their promise. I sorta felt that way with Curse of Chucky & Cult of Chucky.

Seed of Chucky was a movie that should've focus more on the horror. We ended up with a movie that almost became a parody movie. Keep in mind, most of those movies sucks with some exceptions like Spaceballs. Curse of Chucky went back to it's roots. Sure mostly in one location but I felt they made it work.

Cult of Chucky is a movie I recommend you watch two or three times before judging. There's a lot going on that may confuse you. This is one of the strangest killer toy movies I have ever seen. Of course some of the Puppet Master movies would count towards that too. Two of the most awesome killer toys franchises to date.

I just noticed Curse of the Puppet Master & Curse of Chucky. Yes bad things can happen indeed. I really wish we could get a true crossover between both franchises. Both of them has amazing potential to bring so much to the table. I really believe in the right hands even they went the comic book series route.

We would be getting some amazing stories. Possibly way better than Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash stories. Two different kinds of magic was used on them. Which by itself would make things very interesting. It would be more possible to make than putting Chucky vs. Leprechaun. Yes that would be my number 1 choice of all versus movies.

Even I realized Chucky should face Puppet Master for more reasons. Both has a very interesting history with very clear differences. Honestly this were to be funded by kickstarter I would donate a lot of money towards it happening. I really do believe this would be one truly amazing crossover movie or comic book crossover stories.

Batman 1966 vs. Gotham Comparisons Part 3 (Joker Edition)

Keep in mind, I am considering Jeremiah from the last couple episodes of season 4. Eventually I'll fill in the blanks to properly finish the comparisons between both shows. Please don't freak out, I will take time to analyze more of Jeremiah during season 5.

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, today we get to talk about one of my personal favorite fictional villains of all time. DC's The Joker always felt a huge impression on me during my child hood. Even to this day, he remains as my favorite comic book super villain. Don't get me wrong I like a lot of them with insane powers but The Joker has done some ridiculous damage on his own.

It's no secret both Batman 1966 and Gotham shows does have their own Joker respectively. However due to another character introduced early on Gotham. I have decided to not leave anything to chance. Therefore this will cover two major comparisons with 1966 Joker taking on both Jokers of Gotham. Now do what you will about this angle. To me we technically have two different versions on the same show.

The very last thing I want to do is not include the first of them in my blog. Hell I do highly respect all of them. Each one brings something unique to the character that seems to stand the test of time. Really this could do all over the place. I expect no less for Batman's Nemesis. A character filled with mysterious leaving people to picture in their own minds exactly why he is this way.

Round 1: Batman 1966 Joker vs. Jerome

To clarify Jerome is basically the proto Joker in every sense of the word. Although some things that happened to the characters in the comics did happen to him. Now this would've excluded if he wasn't anything like The Joker at all. I already had to do that on the villains side. Keep in mind the times were very different for these shows.

Batman 1966 was a much lighter show that had to greatly tone down The Joker. Fortunately they chose a great actor to do him on the show & movie. This show was meant of testing your wits and a weird sense of humor. The Joker appears in a lot of episodes with most of them being great. I should mention The Joker is wearing hot pink clothes instead of his usual purple ones.

Cesar Romero refused to have his mustache shaved off. They chose to simply put extra white make up on his face to help cover it up. The Joker is usually shown without facial hair. This Joker laughs a lot with him being up there with many great actors that portrayed the character. True to his name, he did cause a lot of chaos in Gotham.

Jerome was the son of two circus performers. He killed both his parents without any remorse. Quickly appointed to be the leader of a group of maniacs. Jerome got revived to start causing mayhem all over Gotham. More recently he attempted to kill Bruce Wayne. Now he is lock up at Arkham Asylum.

Jerome acts just like what you expect of The Joker in every possible way. Not only he laughs, he causes some mayhem that would give Batman 1966 Joker a run for his money. Jerome is very convincing at what he does. I don't see why a lot of people were very surprised to hear he isn't The Joker.

Although for what he does bring to the table Jerome does have my respects. Way better than Jared Leto's take in Suicide Squad movie. Hell it is a huge honor for him to being the inspiration for the actual Joker. This is going to be a close show down between a real Joker and someone whose not quite him.

I think what it really comes down to is which one felt more like the character. A guy all about causing chaos, killing thousands of people, blowing stuff up and attempting to corrupt Batman. In most of his appearances in 1966 show, The Joker does cause a lot of chaos with some ridiculous concepts. In some cases he attempted black mail for money.

Jerome does nail more what I expect of him in areas 1966 version doesn't. He is betraying everyone he works with just like his comic book counterpart. Yes both characters laugh but I still give Romero's more praise. I do like Jerome's laugh but it is still not enough to compete with that. In appearance 1966 version easily wins.

Jerome uses weapons you expect from criminals & maniacs. 1966 version uses all kind of ridiculous weapons. In that regard does make that version more faithful to the character. Both has fought Bruce Wayne but it felt more right in Jerome's case. Despite not being The Joker, he is clearly his inspiration.

Both of them did freak the entire Gotham City out. I think I have to give this to 1966 version for a few good reasons. He is a bigger thorn in the police's side. If you seen some of his most ridiculous episodes. You already know what I'm talking about. For those that haven't seen the show or episodes I'm about to reference.

There is an episode where The Joker built an UFO tricking people all over the city. There is another episode where he doesn't paint in a painting contest to end up winning it. Only to black mail a couple of rich people for money. Yes this by itself isn't faithful to the character. I would bring up forcing Batman into tough situations but many villains also done that on the show.

Even in bad episodes, this version of him does stand out in many ways. I'm not saying the actor for Jerome isn't great. Honestly he blew me away within minutes of seeing him in action. Clearly he is one of the better TV versions of the character. I felt in some ways 1966 Joker just has exactly what it needs. Sure there are some criticism I could see people saying about him.

In the end 1966 Joker has more major things going for him. Even if I excluded the movie, he has difficult to believe episodes. The Joker stands as one of Batman's greatest enemies for great reasons. I felt this version fit those better than Jerome. I do remember both of them a lot. 1966 Joker is simply more of the actual characters in ways it matters.

Winner: The Joker on Batman 1966

Round 2: Batman 1966 Joker vs. Jeremiah

Now since I covered a great deal about Batman 1966 Joker. I am mostly going to focus on Gotham's Joker. It turns out Jerome had a twin brother named Jeremiah. He planned not only his death but also made sure his brother became his successor. Unexpected happened where a new gas turns Jeremiah's skin to white, his lips red, his pupils are a different color & acts very differently.

Obviously Jerome was insane that wanted to cause Hell to the city. His brother wants to destroy it all to rebuild it in his imagine. Jeremiah can clearly see how insane his brother was. At the same time he won't let people get in the way of his goals. This guy has more of the critical traits of the character that Jerome simply lacks.

For starters Jerome didn't wear much purple clothes. He needed help to build things like different types of gases. Jerome was insane at a young age while parts of it are deeply covered up by his brother. Even Jeremiah confirmed the gas didn't actually affect his sanity because he already was insane.

Jeremiah does a great job acting more faithfully to the character. It is a real shame because of DC cinematic universe, Fox isn't allowed to call him The Joker. It shouldn't effect people liking him a lot. He has been doing things The Joker very likely would do in the comics. Jerome didn't have a obsession of Bruce Wayne while his brother does.

Two very different takes of the character on two very different shows. The Joker on Batman 1966 is a heavily toned down version meant for comedical purposes. Jeremiah is a much more serious take that may lack the hair color & title. Both of them sure cause a lot of chaos on their respective shows. Two of my favorite Joker actors in TV shows.

Jeremiah is much more complex out of The Joker on Batman 1966 & his brother. The Joker was already the character from the start on Batman 1966. Unfortunately during it's final season, The Joker was given some terrible episodes. Also some of his appearances he is seen wearing mostly hot pink instead of his usual purple.

There is no question, The Joker on Batman 1966 is more faithful in terms of having his own gadgets. How Jeremiah goes about things is more accurate to the character. This is going to be difficult no matter how I go about it & in all honestly it should be. After all, The Joker always has been Batman's greatest enemy.

Another reason why this is so hard because Jeremiah isn't in as many episodes as The Joker on Batman 1966. At the same time, he haven't gotten a bad episode. Which is one thing he has over the other version of the character. However The Joker on Batman 1966 does laugh a lot. Jeremiah doesn't laugh often except when he was becoming the character.

I felt this might even come down to the little things. Jeremiah with Ra's al Ghul's help trapped whoever was in Gotham causing all kind of chaos in the process. Jeremiah also had that level of interest in Bruce Wayne similar doing that with Batman in the comics. Also the way they went about Batman 1966, technically The Joker along with Catwoman, The Riddler and The Penguin are his arch enemies.

Now I know I'm already doing this comparison before even watching the final season. I already decided to do a extra part updating most comparison between the two shows. With that being said I have slightly have more reason to give the win to Jeremiah. He is mostly wearing purple even before becoming the character.

Honestly Jeremiah tricks people the same way the character does in the comics. He never wanted money or control over people. All he truly wants is to cause chaos on a big scale. In vice versa, The Joker does want those things. When he is causing chaos, he simply doing it to get Batman's attention. Which was a very common thing the villains would do on that show.

Jeremiah is mysterious just like the character. He has done terrible things that could scar people for life. Believe it or not, even back then The Joker has done bad things in comics. Obviously Batman 1966 version is based on older comics while Jeremiah being more based on new 52 universe comics. A very clear difference in almost everything imaginable.

Winner: Jeremiah on Gotham

Jack Red reviews Xtro 1 and 2

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I figured to review the first two Xtro movies. Believe it or not, despite being an alien movie trilogy. They have little to nothing in common at all. Not even sharing an alien race. I haven't seen Xtro 3 otherwise I would've done all three of them in one blog. I should point out Xtro 2 was the bonus movie of Killer Toys Collection & the only movie included not part of the theme.

Xtro (1983)

Xtro is one of the strangest movies in all of my horror movie collection. This is both alien & killer toy movie. An alien comes to Earth, he impregnates a human woman into giving birth to a humanoid alien. Close to half way through, he infects the boy giving him powers. He quickly discovers he can control toys as well as turn them into living creatures.

I believe this kid gets most of the kills since three of his toys killed someone. Two aliens are terrorizing people in a way you wouldn't know what's going on. This is sorta like a horror movie version of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Technically E.T. came a couple months before in the UK in 1982.

E.T. also got to the United States much faster than Xtro did. Why the sudden comparison? Both movies involves an alien leaving Earth to go back to their home planet. I should mention the famous scene where a toy soldier breaks into an old woman's apartment room. There is also a clown that helps the boy.

This is an cult classic that not many people would enjoy especially if they're a fan of Alien series. Sure this does kinda rip off that series but it does plenty of things to differ itself from it. Some kills are just plain awkward like one of the aliens is screaming to the point a man dies from it. I would say try watching this to get a better understanding how unusual it is.

Xtro 2 (1990)

This movie is just plain bad, at least the original had some good things. This is just what you expect from tired sci fi movies trying to experiment extra ideas. Now I know I possibly offended a lot of people with that statement. Yes I seen some good movies with that concept but some companies love crapping all over it.

Xtro 2 differs in many ways to the original movie. For starters, the aliens come from another dimension. They affect people very differently that's also comes off being what you expect from zombie movies. In the original Xtro, either the alien impregnates a human woman or in their humanoid forms suck into their flesh to create eggs.

It quickly becomes boring with not much to excite you. The aliens move like their part mech or someone in powered armor I'm not kidding. How they went about killing a doctor becoming an alien was kinda stupid. This movie doesn't bring anything new to the concept. I highly recommend avoiding this movie at all costs.

It simply isn't worth your money, attention & time. I would rather watch the last two Species movies over this. Yes I'm aware that franchise is also a rip off of Alien series that's more focus on sex. In their argument, they told the stories better with a better usage of the alien to alien humanoid creatures.

Jack Red reviews Dolls & Dollman

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I wanted to review two Full Moon movies I recently got into. I quickly became a fan of both movies that are also in Killer Toys Collection. I felt if this doesn't show Full Moon I care for their work, what the hell will? Two interesting movies for their time that still considered to be two of their greatest movies ever made.

Dolls

Dolls is hands down one of the scariest killer toy movies I have ever seen. A little girl befriends a guy she met inside the house. Over half the people that arrived started mysterious disappearing. It turns out the dolls are in fact alive. They're the ones going around killing people. The old woman was a witch as confirmed late in the movie.

The scene where the girl's father got transformed into a doll was disturbing & creepy. There is some great kill scenes for it's time. Also considering this predated the original Child's Play by roughly a year. A lot of stuff around the time you expect in early 90s Full Moon movies is here. Dolls is a brilliant master piece more people need to see.

I really can't recommend this movie enough. Empire did a great job with this movie. Full Moon allowed it to get on Blu-ray not too long ago. In fact for my custom collection, I chose it's Blu-ray cover to be on the back. Dolls is a rather interesting movie in many ways. This movie will make you terrifying of your own dolls after watching it I'm not kidding.

Dollman

Oh hell yeah Dollman isn't just a Full Moon classic. This is a surprisingly very good movie of theirs. Dollman may come off as one of the dumbest things ever. But the way they went about this concept, it really works. An alien police officer goes after his long time nemesis to crash land on a distance called Earth.

It turns out, on our place everything about him in size is much smaller to me. Although he wields one of the most over powered guns I have ever seen in an movie. Dollman decides to help the neighbor hood by going to war against a gang. This movie also has a young Jackie Earle Haley whose very well known in movies today.

Dollman has some amazing story telling that keeps you on the edge of your sit. This guy puts up one amazing fight on his own. Also I love the cover artwork above. Full Moon really out done themselves with this movie. Dollman is a good mixture of different movie genres into. It comes more off like The Terminator in it's own right without time travel.

I highly recommend watching both of these movies. They're holding up amazingly well to the test of time. Two very interesting takes on killer toys concept. Easily two of the greatest Full Moon movies ever made. Yes you also can get Dollman on Blu-ray. I honestly don't have any real negatives towards either movie, they're that damn good.
