Top 5 Resident Evil Altered Main Game Variations

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, today I wanted to do an list I don't think any Resident Evil fan has done yet. I am presenting my Top 5 Resident Evil Altered Main Game Variations list. To clarify I am aware in some games like RE1 & RE2. Both characters has several differences in their scenarios but this isn't what I'm here for. No I'm talking about unlockable variations of the main game that feels like an different game. Basically there's only one rule for this particular list. Each one must be an totally different experience. Therefore if they're too similar to the main game then I'm not counting them.

5. Countdown (Resident Evil Revelations 2

This was between Invisible Enemy & Countdown. I decided to go with Countdown since there's stuff similar to it. Mostly The Mercenaries mini games since both involves getting more time. If you are great at speed running Resident Evil games then you should do fine. This forces you to complete the game as fast as possible with little room of error. Especially difficult to do on No Escape difficulty.

4. Wesker Mode (Resident Evil 0 HD Remastered)
It's been twenty years to finally play as Wesker in one of these games. Unlike Billy, both Wesker & Rebecca can mix herbs. Not armed Wesker has an attack to kill several zombies at once. He also can run very fast when you need to. Rebecca gets an new outfit similar to Jill's from RE5. You can't pick your difficulty but it's noticeably tougher.

3. Infernal Mode (Resident Evil Revelations)

In the original 3DS version's hard mode was just an harder version of the game. Then Capcom announced they replaced it's original hard mode with an even tougher difficulty. Which unlike the old hard difficulty, really changes the game. The enemies are very unforgiving doing more damage, more higher level items & you can't be safe at any point. Why because at random enemies will spawn. Thus only took with the will can conquer this insane difficulty.

2. Arranged Mode aka Advanced Mode (Resident Evil Director's Cut)
The original alternate main game variation has to be on the list. Depending on which version of Director's Cut. You can play this with two different soundtracks. All playable characters has new costumes for this variation. Enemy & item placements were altered to challenge those mastering the game. Plus you can only play it as the highest difficulty of RE1. They later added an code to help players with more ammo. Enemies are even more difficult than normal. All of this made RE1 an truly classic game.

1. Invisible Enemy (Resident Evil Remake/Resident Evil HD Remastered)
It was between Real Survivor & Invisible Enemy. Both of them in their own way did changed the game a lot. But most agree Invisible Enemy is the true definitive alternate Resident Evil game experience. You can manual aim only just like Real Survivor. But like the main game you can choose three to fourth difficulties. If that's not insane enough every enemy including bosses are invisible. Unlike Revelations 2 that gave you some help. You must memorize every enemy placement as well as their patterns. If you beat it fast enough, you'll get to see unused concepts & thank you for playing. The game itself was hard, Real Survivor was tougher than it's hard difficulty. But all of that fails in comparison to Invisible Enemy. You have to be very good at the game to beat this variation of it. Also gets big points for being the scariest one on this list.

I hope you guys enjoy my list, I might do more Resident Evil inspired lists. Until then I'm Jack Red & I'll see all of you later.

Two Metal Gear Lists by Jack Red

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I am an big fan of Metal Gear series. Some of the absolute finest video games in existence. These are legendary in their respective field. Words alone can't do this enough justice. I decided to give you today two top lists for fellow Metal Gear fans like myself. I officially played all the major Metal Gear games to date. I hope you can respect my opinion on these topics. Now you could also consider these my reviews of every game featured.

First up let's do Top 4 Big Boss Games. I'm not including Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for many reasons. Even if I did include it some would argue to keep it off. So I'm only talking about four of five games you play as Big Boss.

4. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

This is the shortest Big Boss game on this list. I could hit it hard for being so short in comparison to other games. I actually prefer all side ops more than the actual campaign. Which only had one mission that involves rescuing two people. Surprisingly you get big locations to search around for an game this short. It will take you an while to get use to it's new features. Even some old Metal Gear fans took some time getting use to it. There is an great story with good cut scenes. You are mostly on your own for the most part. Only side ops has bosses which most of them are vehicles. I felt they did an great job for trying make up for waiting longer for the rest of MGSV.

3. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

The most recent game featured on both lists. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is an mix experience. Yes this does improve on some issues I had with Peace Walker. This game gives you so much to do on & off missions. I felt most main ops missions seem more like side ops. Why because they didn't really connect to the actual story at all. Only an handful of main ops missions do. Most bosses are flat out unfair. You will need a lot of ammo & need to work fast. They really keep you on your feet with little room of error. Only Eli aka Liquid Snake is easy regardless which boss fight you do. Your companions in the game do help in an big way. I would have to say D-Dog & Quiet are my favorites. This does a lot during missions in terms of open ended game play. But I must agree with most fans. There's some serious plot holes that sadly won't be answered now. After completing Episode 25 comes one of the absolute worst Metal Gear moments. The game will on purpose stall you to fix an crisis of an disease outbreak. This requires knowing what's the connection to those infected & who to transfer to quarantine zone. Guess what that makes up an very large amount of your total army. To sum it up your levels on each section will go down several levels. You have to beat Episodes 26 to 29 as fast as possible. If even one people with that connection isn't transferred or you didn't do them fast enough. You will lose a lot of people on your base at an fast rate. This is horrible how they went about that concept. I really don't like missions that may seem clear at first. Then you realized there's a lot more going on. For example you have to find to either save or kill your targets. Yes D-Dog does help in this areas but it doesn't change the fact you can still easily fail it. You could do an second campaign for the true ending. However you are playing harder versions of missions you already completed. What's the point of doing those again? I will say this is an good game just not an great Metal Gear game.

2. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

Originally released on PSP to almost an year later ported on PS3 & Xbox 360. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker does follow an few years after Portable Ops. Although this game's event was more important. Unlike Metal Gear Solid V, Peace Walker did connect all main story missions very well. They did an amazing job telling it's story. Yes this is not only the longest Big Boss game but positively the longest Metal Gear game in existence. Most side ops missions are worth doing with an great level of challenge. Again most bosses are vehicles with some being giant robots. You do face heavily armored soldiers several times. You get better rewards for completing missions. Yes this game is easily the most difficult Metal Gear game I ever played. I did play a little of it's online versus & coop. Both works very well with plenty of content to go an long time playing. Yes this does strict your locations but makes sure you don't fail by doing too far in most missions. You can capture people as well as vehicles. They did an amazing job bringing an long PSP game to those platforms. Easily one of the best soundtracks in the entire series. I really could go on about how much I love this game. I still don't like how hard that torture button mashing is. I thought MGS1 on PlayStation's was tougher at first until I played this. This game alone makes Big Boss worth caring for. This is an worth successor to such an amazing game. Also the briefly last few missions for the true ending are worth doing.

1. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

In my opinion this is not only the best Big Boss game but also the best Metal Gear game. Everyone has their favorites, mine always was MGS3. Everything imaginable is done perfectly for this game. It still blows me away today how good this game is. This is the earliest in the time line that left such an big impression. In most areas I would honestly pick this as the definitive Metal Gear experience. It is so good that I can't find anything major enough to criticize it.

I saved the better of two lists for last. Top 5 Solid Snake Games is really worth playing all five of them. In fact I would pick those over Big Boss games in an heart beat. These are very impressive games for their time.

5. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

I am mostly talking about Tanker chapter. Snake Tales were created in later versions. mostly because almost everyone wanted Solid Snake to be this game's main character. I wasn't an big fan of Snake Tales. Tanker chapter is one of the shortest Metal Gear games if you are only playing that. There's only two bosses Snake fights in his portions. I do enjoy a lot of exploring with such great story. Can I be honest I prefer Tanker chapter over Plant chapter for many reasons. It just really works for what it is.

4. Metal Gear

Of course we have to talk about the original Metal Gear game. I played this from Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. An classic game that not a lot of people would like. But I do see Metal Gear fans enjoying this. Memorizing several parts of the game plays an huge part in it's fun factor. Most bosses are okay with Metal Gear being the best. Once again there's an great story even with it's translation being a little off. I do enjoy listening to sound effects & songs. This game is complex yet simple to understand. It can hard if you don't know what to do. There's plenty of rememberable moments in this game.

3. Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake

It's no contest Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake was better than the original Metal Gear. This game actually pushed MSX for an very impressive game. Especially made in just three months being this good. This requires more skills, memorizing & taking risks. But in most areas it greatly surpasses the original. This is hands down one of the absolute best Metal Gear sequels as well as video game sequels in general. Most boss fights are fun as well as unique. It really all works incredibly well for an game like this. Some parts are difficult yet after taking an few notes. You will become an expert at this in no time. The whole end game portion is one of the best of the series. This game is really good for any console it's being played on. It's translations are notably better than the original Metal Gear. I highly recommend playing it with an great guide or watching an playlist of videos.

2. Metal Gear Solid

Oh hell yeah Metal Gear Solid was an fantastic game. Yeah some parts of it's controls are okay. It still works well enough to get the job done. This game blew people away at the time with more over the years. Everything surpasses Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake in every possible way. Easily one of the best Metal Gear stories. There is surprisingly a lot of depth in this game. Most bosses are fun to take on with great codec conversations. Plenty of secrets for an two disc game. There does exist an alternation version release on more platforms. If you heard of Metal Gear Solid The Legacy Collection? Both versions of MGS1 are included as downloadable games for your PS3. I really could go on about how awesome this game is.

1. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

As MGS3 was the best for Big Boss. Hands down MGS4 nails exactly what Solid Snake stands for. The last of his story being this damn good. Officially there exists two versions of this game with the later one adding trophy support. This was an early PS3 game that did push it's limits. In every possible area this blew even an game as good as MGS1 away. I am still impressive how good MGS4 actually is. I sadly never got to play it online but I did hear a lot of great things about it. This game nails what Metal Gear is all about. Honestly if you have an PS3 please go play this game. It is worth your every penny to experience an truly unique experience.

I hope you guys enjoy my blogs, if you like my work I may do more Metal Gear theme blogs in the near future. Until then I'm Jack Red & I'll out of here.

Classic ScrewAttack Blog: Jack Red presents Death Battle Fight Prediction: The Joker vs. Sweet Tooth

This was my first of an handful that got on ScrewAttack's front page an few years ago. Right now everyone else including me is about to see this episode tomorrow. I figured because this blog got people back into this fight. Why not post my famous blog that once exploded on the internet here.

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I know it's been a while since I made one of these blogs. I honestly wanted to do this one so bad for a long time. Right around I got into this show it was often requested. A fight that most fans of all eras always wanted to see.

As a kid I always wanted to see this fight happen some day. I actually picturing this being one of their most creative yet. I mean who doesn't want two well known fictional psychotic clowns fighting to the death. So I'm Jack Red it's time to determine who would win in a death battle.

I am going to do something a little different before I break down these characters. I am aware most don't understand The Joker. There's a good reason for that in the comics he's very violent. Thus at first DC had trouble getting him out there in shows & movies. They decided to really tone the character down. Most time lines in media doesn't have a origin for him. So based on my own personal research. The Killing Joke still stands as closest we'll ever get to his origin. Some versions of him get easily beaten by Batman. In fact most of you reading this are about to learn a lot. This is done to successfully determine who truly wins. Keep in mind most forms of media are still considered. Also some forms real name is Jack Napier. There's a lot of mystery surrounding the character.
Backgrounds

Sweet Tooth
Needles Kane a psychotic clown escaped from a mental hospital looking for his best friend. Who so happens to be a paper bag? He once had a family of his own working as a milk delivery man. Revealed in Twisted Metal: Black, Needles is Marcus's multiple personality. He's often going around neighbor hoods killing people. This clown doesn't fear anyone especially Calypso whose similar to Wish Master. He enjoys causing destruction around the world even to most of it gone. They never kept his stories together like most characters do.

The Joker
Jack Napier was an engineer who quit his job to do stand up comedy. Which doesn't go well so decides to go on a heist. He is forced to wear a red hood over his head once inside. Then he ran into Batman to fell into a vast of chemicals. Which cause bleach his skin white, his hair green & his lips crimson red. Now taking up the atlas The Joker. This guy is widely known for killing people & destroying buildings. He currently stands as Batman's worst enemy. Like Sweet Tooth, there's a lot of stories not connected to together but some are.
Weapons & Gadgets
Sweet Tooth

Machete
Sweet Tooth has used knives but this one in particular is now his most known weapon. This custom made machete can cut through tables. Which makes it more sharper than most machetes. Sweet Tooth proves this by killing most people in the hospital. I'm sure most of you seen a few Friday the 13th movies. If you compared Jason's machete kills to Sweet Tooth in the latest game. He easily out did him by a few minutes. It's unknown how or who built this machete but Sweet Tooth got it so yeah.

Sweet Tooth's Ice Cream Truck
Some of you may not ever play any of the Twisted Metal games. Sweet Tooth drives in an modified ice cream truck. It has built in machine guns & rocket launchers. Some versions of this vehicles are Transformers.

The Joker
Guns
Over the years The Joker has used most guns he stolen. Honestly it's not known how many guns he had altogether. It is known he usually fires handguns with some exceptions.

Knives
Like guns, The Joker also had a lot of knives over the years. It's very clear how people can be killed by them. Yet The Joker usually use knives to threaten. It's true he uses guns in that manner more often. Not a lot of them has been hurt by his knives. Other than that he uses other weapons in his arsenal.

Joker Venom
One of his most well known & deadliest weapons Joker Venom. This gas causes you to laugh uncontrollably to death. It also causes you to die with a Joker grin. Only a handful of people know how to cure it in time. Once in Batman Movie (1989) The Joker tried killing the people of Gotham. By using giant balloon characters usually used for parades filled with Joker Venom. Just in case you somehow haven't seen this awesome movie.

Razor Cards
He is also known for using razor sharp playing cards. Which cuts through most things with ease. Although it's clear where the idea came from. How The Joker made it is still a mystery. This is easily one of his deadliest weapons in his arsenal.

At times The Joker offers a hand shake to only play a joke on you. Some versions of this are pretty violent that most kids would be horrific. Usually it's just a quick shock but sometimes watch out. Or maybe this could happen to you...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utj9gV5t_uQ

Acid Flower
Another gadget Joker commonly wears to surprise his victims. I'm sure some of you are aware how this is a joke. You usually get sprayed by water when you don't expect it. The Joker turn this simple joke into a deadly weapon. He fills it up with water, poisonous gases & acid. Without question one of his hardest to predict of his arsenal. Considering all the stuff I know he done through out the years. This weapon also stands as one of his deadliest.
Abilities & Charactics

Sweet Tooth
He has proven to be stronger & tougher than most normal person. Hell he did kill most people in the hospital. He barely can be reason with yet has no regret of his actions. This guy enjoys killing millions of people as well as destroying cities. He once survived the chair in Twisted Metal: Black with a bag over his head. He is known for being quick to anger. Which in some occasions got him killed although only one ending in the original was confirmed canon. He also has fire hair literately fire on his head. Only Twisted Metal: Black explained how he got it. He got cursed by a troubled priest on the night of his execution. The cure was this man's blood which he refuse to take. Which lead him to killing Calypso again. Finally at times he laughs as he does what he does best.

The Joker
The Joker is immune to all forms of toxins thanks to Batman. Once The Scarecrow tried his gas to only get beaten by a chair. As proven on many occasions by Batman he has no fear at all. This is where a true Joker expert like me can do justice. In the comics this guy can hold his own against Batman. Due to years of being an engineer can build gadgets, machines & toxins. He is usually a few steps in front of Batman whose smarter than Superman. He is a very difficult man to predict. His arsenal is very likely to cause people to get off guard. He also can trick you into doing stupid you otherwise wouldn't do. For example injustice: Gods Among Us in an pararell universe. The Joker tricked Superman into destroying Metropolis. Which in turn cause him to get murdered thus corrupting the Justice League. WOW right that's how twisted this man is. Like Sweet Tooth, he's known for killing people & destroying building. He too has a crazy laugh for a psychotic clown. He's also often for constantly lying & telling horrible jokes. In fact he will betray anyone with no care for even himself.

Sweet Tooth
Advantages
+Is more willing to attack
+Is physically stronger than The Joker
+Having his ice cream truck gives him more destructing arsenal
+Is more likely to keep his guard up
+His vehicle easily dominates most of Joker's arsenal
Disadvantages
-He's quick to anger which The Joker can easily trick him into doing something stupid
-Isn't bright enough to alter his attacks
-Relies too much on his machete
-Even if he had access to his vehicles, The Joker is an expert of destruction himself
-Isn't use to his victims putting up a fight
-Will go right for the kill too often which The Joker is used to that
-Doesn't fight on the level of The Joker's street fighting style which rivals Batman's
-Isn't immune to toxins which is a big part of The Joker's arsenal
-Is slower than The Joker
-Although he's insane, he still has fear
-Wihtout his ice cream truck, he only has a very sharp custom machete
-Isn't used to dealing with insane people
The Joker

Advantages
+Is much smarter rivaling Batman's intelligence
+Is faster than Sweet Tooth
+Most of his arsenal can take down Sweet Tooth's ice cream truck
+Is more calm unless threatened or angered yet still plans out strategies
+Has a more unpredictable fighting style
+Is a better fighter capable of holding his own against Batman
+His arsenal will constantly throw Sweet Tooth off
+Is immune to all forms of toxins
+Is much tougher than Sweet Tooth
+Has been proven to be fearless
+Has a bigger arsenal of weapons & gadgets
+Can easily get insane people to help him
Disadvantages
-Sometimes will test people mostly Batman to kill him
-Is more likely to drop his guard
-Usually waits for an opening as he fights
-If not prepared for Sweet Tooth's ice cream truck can be his undoing

Sweet Tooth is like most psychopaths while The Joker actually similar to Dr. Hannibal Lector. A smart socialpath capable of doing the impossible. Basically Sweet Tooth is working too hard to end it early. He isn't able to think once he gets too piss off which The Joker will use against him. The Joker's street fighting style rivals that of Batman's material arts. Sweet Tooth never got trained in any fighting style. The Joker is rather very difficult to predict with a seemingly laughable arsenal. Which actually are some of the deadliest weapons in fictional history. Sweet Tooth has proven to be tougher than most humans. Yet The Joker often deals with the dark knight. A guy with a lot of great skills who once bested the Justice League. Sweet Tooth's ice cream truck does out do Joker's arsenal. However The Joker is also an expert of destruction. Hell he tricked the Man of Steel destroying Metropolis. He even has hold his own against Justice League a few times. An all stars super hero team with insane feats. Which puts most Twisted Metal characters Sweet Tooth to shame. It's likely at one point The Joker will trick Sweet Tooth. Into hitting his machete into something to prevent him from attacking. In The Dark Knight he tricked Batman to slamming against the glass. Later he used the broken piece to hold up an officer. Then he made a call which triggered a bomb to escape from the police station. He is also known for building his own gadgets & toxins. Sweet Tooth once survived the chair but The Joker always came back from the impossible. For example in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. The Joker fell in water but threw a switch. Which cause him to fry himself to death. Yet He plated a microchip in Tim Drake aka the third Robin. Thus over time became more until he almost fully took over his body. Either way you look at it The Joker has most of the advantages.

I just found the perfect way of celebrating his victory.

Hahaha but honestly two of my favorite evil clowns fighting to the death. What more could you possibly ask for well you can't. Anyway I would like to thank everyone who reads this.

Jack Red reviews Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus Alpha

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I already reviewed Dead Rising 3 on an video. But I ended up getting it's last dlc very recently. Almost being two years after it's release during that year's E3. I remember getting excited really wanted to play it at the time. This is an great homage to one of the best gaming developers.

This was made to celebrate Capcom's thirty one years & one of the world longest gaming developers in history. They are legendary in their craft with some of the best video games. No game company has been as close as driven as Capcom. I got to be honest this turned out to be one of the best dlcs I ever played. I already knew I was going to be blown away by it's sheer awesomeness. No one thought Capcom really put everything that's them in one amazing mini game in Dead Rising 3.

The Dead Rising team went really far to represent as much Capcom franchises as they possibly could. You can play as four Dead Rising characters. All hidden characters are those four wearing & acts just like those characters. Most of which are classic Capcom characters that spice the game up. This plays like an arcade beat em up with great variety kinda similar to Sega's Alien Storm in that area. You can keep continuing as long you have enough money. There's a lot of power ups with creative level designs. With the possible exception of Shadow Boss, most bosses were too cheap for my taste. They made it very fun from start to finish. I couldn't stop trying to unlock every character in the last few days.

In comparison to the Untold Stories, this blew all four of them away. You can play with three other players online. Just like those dlcs, this too adds several more achievements making this over an hundred. Officially I got an hundred & ten achievements in Dead Rising 3. Every character does have their strengths & weaknesses. Personally Sigma surprisingly ended up being my favorite character. A lot of great Capcom songs with most from Street Fighter series. This alone made an very good game to one of the absolute best I ever played. Honestly folks it is really that good. Your worst enemies are the final boss & time itself. Once you get timed out except for bonus rounds. Your game ends making you have to start over. Otherwise this is very good classic arcade inspired action.

My personal rating for this dlc would be 9.5 out of 10.
