More in depth Jason vs. Licensed Killers comparison a follow up blog

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I realized I needed to go more into detail on licensed killers in Dead by Daylight. I will go more in details about Freddy, Michael, Leatherface and The Pig in this blog. I felt I already covered enough from Jason's point of view. Also I won't be mentioning Roy Burns aka Part 5 Jason in this blog.

Trust me there's a great reason for that. It depends if Dead by Daylight brings a particular slasher villain to the game. Until then I will do a more direct comparison focusing more on Dead by Daylight side. I felt I didn't really say much about them from a handful of things. So I will make sure to have everything out on the table this time.

1. Freddy Krueger aka The Nightmare

Freddy was directly taken from A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 film. I do still respect the new actor for trying his best as Freddy. It just wasn't a great movie for many reasons. I still say he is one of the best things about it. Freddy also brings the school in a map. You get to explore around & inside the school during matches.

When Freddy gets close, parts of his song plays. Simply being in the dream world, Freddy must bring survivors to his realm in order to harm or kill them. From the real world, you can barely see an invisible figure. Not many killers has that going for them. Freddy is played & voiced by different people.

At first Freddy can be tricky to get use to. Trust me, you will be bringing them to the dream world a lot. I would say he is a great killer for farming blood points. Freddy does laugh usually when someone close by him goes to the dream world. I do have to be honest they did a great job making Freddy scary in this game.

2. Michael Myers aka The Shape

Michael Myers was directly taken from the original Halloween. He is one of the most op killers in the game. He can stalk people at a distance. As long he's doing that, a meter with his icon starts going up. You won't return to tier 1 no matter what happens. You have to work it up to tier 3. Why because he can now instantly down survivors with one hit.

Oh wait it gets crazier than that. Some hard to find stuff for him allows him to kill people with another mori while moving. Michael is one of the few killers to have more than one mori. Yes he attacks with a butcher knife unlike an axe like Call of Duty: Ghosts done. The way he moves is very accurate to how he was in the movie.

I think my two favorite things about him are his own map & his theme song plays chasing survivors. Yeah imagine one of the most popular slasher movie theme songs plays in a game like this. Sure Michael's hands are a little too big but still looks good. Michael also gets some great stuff making him very difficult to survive against.

Please allow me to explain more in detail. In Friday the 13th: The Game, Jason can easily kill the counselors. But they have more ways to stun or fight back at him. All you really have in Dead by Daylight is dropping pallets or hiding in lockers that's it. Now throw in the possibility of Michael's tier 3 never drops at all.

Yeah people can easily own even faster with Michael during matches with a great set up. The fact he stalks can make it easier for the killer to spot you. Trust me you are likely going to be on the edge when facing Myers. At least with Jason, I have more options how to defend myself as well as avoiding him.

3. Bubba Sawyer aka Leatherface aka The Cannibal

Leatherface was directly pulled from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Bubba has some major differences from The Hillbilly. I already explained how they got both of them in the same game in another blog. Leatherface can hold on to full charge that does reduce his overall speed. Thankfully he gets stuff to help even the odds.

He doesn't hit his hammer as far as some killers. But he does swings fast at close range. Just like some killers, he can use his chainsaw to down survivors easily. He has one of the best attacks among killers for that. Leatherface swings his chainsaw around for a few minutes. It is possible if things plays out right hitting all four survivors in one go.

Leatherface does have his usual groan in the game. I would say he is the easiest to learn among the licensed killers. Hard to believe he was inspired by real life serial killer Ed Gein. The same killer also inspired Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs & Norman Bates from Psycho series. Leatherface is the very person that made people with chainsaws scary in the first place.

4. Amanda Young aka The Pig aka Jigsaw Killer

I will be honest I wasn't happy they chose Amanda for this game. I finally came out to say it here. Amanda was one of John's apprentices to continue his life's work. Where they kidnap people to force them in deadly games. She made her games impossible to work while Agent Hoffman was willing to break the rules.

I will give them credit for choosing their kidnap costumes for the game. Many people believed it was the year of the pig in China around the time they got released. The Pig is one of the hardest to predict among the killers. She also has an alternate method for killing survivors that doesn't involve a mori. The Pig can place reverse bear traps on survivors.

They have to sneak around The Pig to a few locations to attempt removing the masks. The station will laugh like Billy the Puppet when it isn't the right one. Just like failing skill checks does alert The Pig to your location. If you don't remove the mask in time, the trap will activate killing you. This makes those trying to get the mori achievements easier with her.

I do need to mention the official Saw games based on what I heard are terrible. It is funny Dead by Daylight finally nails Saw right in a video game. She also comes with her own map where a lot of the games took place in. Trust me this map is very well made fitting of The Pig. I would say it is fun to play as her but hated going against her.

Sadly none of the actors reprise their roles or given permission to allow their likeness in the game. The same can't be for Jason since Kane Hodder played the character four times before the game. In that regard Jason has more of a lasting appeal to him. Although I do prefer playing as Freddy and Michael over Jason for many reasons.

Also you play as Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8 and Jason Goes to Hell versions. If you were involved with funding this game, you will get an exclusive Jason skin designed by Tom Savini himself. Basically in both cases a lot of love went into them. For Friday the 13th: The Game, it really was a love letter to the fans.

For Dead by Daylight, the fact it has Freddy & Michael in the same game to me is mind blowing. The maps from licensed franchises are beautiful done. I would even say those are better than most maps in Friday the 13th. Yes the famous Halloween theme is also in the game too. I loved how they alter the experience for each of these licensed killers.

Either way you look at it, both companies are huge horror movie fans. A lot of horror movie fans would enjoy both of these games. I do think Jason does deliver more on fan service in killing people. I do like these killers bring their own unique to all the maps. Michael is easily the most op out of the four licensed killers even to some agree being more op than Jason.

I think I done what I can with comparing these two amazing horror games. I am mostly making these blogs for fun. I am leaving my bias side at the door. Otherwise I could've easily given rounds I given to Friday the 13th to Dead by Daylight instead. I do highly recommend playing both of these games close to or on Halloween, trust me it is well worth your time.

Whose is more broken in granting wishes Calypso or Wishmaster?

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, For a long time I haven't seen characters that grant wishes as twisted as the characters I'm comparing today. In the left corner we have a sinister djinn named Wishmaster. In the right corner, his opponent from Twisted Metal series is the host himself Calypso. These two have granted some ridiculous wishes.

Today I will be comparing some of their most ridiculous possibly sickest wishes. Both of them are known for twisting wishes to kill the person or more for souls. I got to be honest this is going to be a fun topic. Two of the most twisted characters I ever heard of. There's so many wishes I have to look through for just one blog.

Warning some of the wishes I will be discussing will be terrifying to very difficult to take seriously. For those that makes anyone that reads this sick. I highly recommend you either leave to go do something else or get yourself a bag. Trust me this isn't going to be pleasant. As I'm writing this I'm not sure who granted a more ridiculous wish.

Now to keep this interesting I won't be considering wishes from III, 4 and Small Brawl. I felt even the worst of them isn't crazy enough to compete with Wishmaster.

Wishmaster aka Djinn

Calypso

Round 1
I wish I was never born vs. I wish everyone knows my face

This is a difficult one to start out with. On one hand we seen a man rapidly aging backwards. On the other we see a man getting his face stretched around the entire planet. Both of them are difficult to watch. I would have to give it to Calypso. As much it was painful to see that guy aging backwards. The fact Calypso is stretching a man's face around Earth breaks a lot more reality rules.

Winner: Calypso

Round 2
I wish that prevents the events of the movie vs. I wish that cause the apocalypse killing everyone

A wish that prevents everything that happened thus saving a lot of people. It is ridiculous Wishmaster even granted that wish. Then again this was the person that freed him. For those that free him gets three wishes instead of one. Mr. Grimm in the original timeline was the grim reaper aka Death. He became obsessed with devouring souls enough to wish for the apocalypse to happen.

Both of them breaks a lot of reality rules. The fact Calypso granted such a crazy wish gives him the edge. These wishes are essentially polar opposites. One prevents a lot of deaths while the other caused what was left of humanity to die out. I think unlike the last round this was too easy. I am giving the win to Calypso.

Winner: Calypso

Round 3
I wish an angel can help me vs. I wish for a world without the contest

Now this is more of a contest for sure. The person who freed the djinn wished for an angel to come help her. This angel possessed one of her friends while they're in a church. A police officer demands Calypso to end his contest that causes buildings to be destroyed with a huge body count. Calypso sent him in space instead.

On one hand, Wishmaster broke a few rules to just bringing an angel into the world of the living. But Calypso sent a cop in his car out in space without warning. Believe it or not, a few endings does connect to this one making it more ridiculous lol. As much I like the djinn summoned an angel knowing he would be against him, you can't compete with a wish like that.

Winner: Calypso

Round 4
Technically this wasn't a wish but she still dies from it vs. I wish to be the more attractive man

To clarify this lady was a friend of the one who freed him. They were just talking with no signs of I wish was involved. He touches her causing this lady to have the feeling of sex while going up on the wall. On the other hand this guy wishes to be the most attractive man in the world. Yeah this quickly gets crazy in a short period of time.

Both of them in their own right are ridiculous for different reasons. She clearly wasn't doing anything sexual at all. In fact she talked briefly about how she enjoys sex. Now for that guy's wish, women started showing up fast. It got to the point he couldn't move anymore being over whelm by them. I would say that's a more ridiculous wish since it caused women to essentially attack this guy.

Winner: Calypso

Round 5
I wish you go through me vs. I wish to make the tallest building in the world

Both of these are ridiculous for different reasons. This guard is one of the select few people in all of these movies to get more than one wish. He originally wished for him to leave. But quickly made a second wish he can twist. Where he gets transformed into glass then the djinn walks through him destroying the glass in the process.

This guy wanted to create the tallest building in the world possibly reaching space to some degree. He gets cocky to the point he falls all the way down to hit the ground. Possibly leading a world record in the process. He built this entire building by himself too. As much morphing someone into glass to walk through em to destroy them, this building as a whole ends up being more ridiculous.

There is another ending of his where his spirit wanted to be reborn to finish his dream. Obviously that didn't end well either. In that regard, it should be obvious I'm giving the win to Calypso again. The fact this building is very tall possibly reaching space bags a lot of questions. Such as how is he able to breath just fine being that high up in the sky or how the building remains stable when it usually wouldn't be?

Winner: Calypso

I really didn't expect this to be a blow out guys. I still had a lot of fun making this. I'm a huge fan of both these characters. You really need to be careful what you wish for. Honestly both of them have some ridiculous wishes as well as some terrible ones. In fact I could do a quick follow up of just those wishes just for fun.

I hope you guys had fun reading all of this. I am glad I finally wrote this it almost happened before. A lot was going on my end at the time. I do know most of their wishes by heart. Sorry it may not be as accurate as some would like it to be. Thank you guys so much for enjoying my work, it really means a lot to me.

Bonus Friday the 13th: The Game vs. Dead by Daylight Comparison

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I made a few blogs related to both Friday the 13th: The Game & Dead by Daylight. Considering earlier this month, they added Ash to Dead by Daylight. I was surprised they put more effort than usual into his character. Honestly I figured with Tommy Jarvis in Friday the 13th: The Game, I should do a short bonus character comparison.

Tommy Jarvis (Friday the 13th: The Game) vs. Ash Williams (Dead by Daylight)
To clarify Thomas Matthews was the third actor to play the character. But he reprise his role in a fan film as well as the game. Bruce Campbell not only given his likeness. They allowed him to say a few lines among being selected. Most of Tommy's lines are in game. Obviously you have to buy for Ash in order to play as him.

To play as Tommy you or someone else must call him. Selected at randomly among those killed or escaped. Someone returns to the game as Tommy. His stats are maxed making him the best survivor to play as. He also has a nice bonus since you need him to kill Jason. This did make this process difficult to pull off.

Ash does bring some new perks to the game. One of them allows him to gain an extra hit. You can't customize Tommy at all not even his clothes. Unlike most licensed characters in Dead by Daylight, Ash can be customize. He has a few outfits with one major difference from everyone else. Instead of changing what characters wears on their heads, that option is meant for Ash's right hand.

Now the reason I didn't do a prior comparison just among the other licensed characters. I sorta already have in my bigger comparison blog. Also most of them didn't have likeness of their respective actors. They were all voiced by original actors for that game. It is true Ash doesn't come with his own map.

Tommy Jarvis can be a lot of fun to play as. You do need patience of a saint to get the full experience with him. Thankfully you will get most of that with Ash. I will say both actors looks great as the characters they're reprising for their representative games. I felt it is slightly more fun to be Ash. Now I know I need to bring something important up.

Ash was actually pulled from Ash vs. Evil Dead show that was essentially Evil Dead 4. Despite that, he was put to great use. Bruce Campbell played the character in four movies with one being a late cameo in Evil Dead remake. I got to be honest Ash comes off more of a little frustrating experience. Tommy does have max stats that does make up for not adding additional stuff to increase your chances.

At the same time, Ash could use perks from other characters & in vice versa. I think what really gives this a win to Ash is the puppet. Yes the puppet from a few episodes of the show is a very nice touch. You really can not go wrong with either game playing as those characters. Ash saying some great lines does spice things up prior to even playing the matches.

Winner: Ash (Dead by Daylight)

To clarify something I do need to say something out of respect. I do respect all original actors that didn't get involve with Dead by Daylight. Jamie Lee Curtis, Danny Glover, Nick Castle and Gunnar Hansen especially. I do felt their respective characters was done justice in Dead by Daylight. I also have to give some respect to Jackie Earle Haley.

Sure I wasn't a fan of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 film. I still respected his take on the character. He is a great actor that does deserve more respect. Other than that I didn't want to cause any problems by doing what many would see as an unneeded comparison or worse. I am a huge fan of horror movies, of course any great game either being licensed or those with those characters. I'll likely be playing the hell out of it.

Gotham Final Review & Final Joker comparison

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, a while back I gave a review on the show Gotham. Last night they aired the final episode. Man I got a lot to talk about for this follow up blog. I would be rude to say can we now call it a Batman show but I won't. Gotham is a great original adaptation of Detective Comics with it's own changes to spice things up.

I believe last time I didn't talk much about critical stuff. I am going to spill the beans this time. Unless you want a large amount of this show ruined. I suggest you leave now & go do something else. Please I don't want angry parents telling me their kids are upset over something like that.

I got to be honest some episodes does have some unneeded story stuff like The Riddler's strange girl friend. I felt this would've been a better show without that. How Bruce ends up taking down the Court of Owls is one of my least favorite moments. It comes off as they didn't want to keep continuing that part of the story.

Oh Ra's al Ghul is their leader's boss, he willingly had those at the top killed. In an attempt to make Bruce happy comes off like a bad joke. Sofia comes off like a character that already entitled to whatever she wants. Oh what do we call that? Why a spoiled brat that's right, her parts of the story to me came off a little boring.

Don't worry it didn't hold the show back much. I still wish they would've focus on other character's growth more. I do actually like how they went about introducing The Joker. Oh wait they still don't call him that in the final episode. According to sources, this version of Jeremiah is called Mr. J. I got to be honest I really prefer this version of the character.

Just how much you will see in a little bit. Most of the final episode you don't see a lot of Bruce at all. In fact not long into it they quickly go into a ten year time skip. I will say it did end the show on a good note. I simply wanted more of Batman & Mr. J in particular. Yes The Penguin in the final episode looks more like the actual character now.

Professor Strange played a role in reviving a lot of characters. He also helped in turning a soldier into a cyborg named Bane. Yes parts of this does come off questionable. Speaking of that the final big arc will quickly remind you of Dark Knight Rises movie that also has Bane. Yeah a lot of the same stuff is going on.

Bane acts as the right hand man of Ra's al Ghul's daughters. Most bridges got destroyed forcing whose trapped in Gotham to remain there for months. The military ends involve not really helping that much. Honestly I felt Dark Knight Rises had a more satisfying conclusion. But I do like we get to see more of the chaos in Gotham.

Now I think of it, in some way The Scarecrow was involved. Personally I do prefer how Gotham uses him better no offends to the actor. A lot of Batman villains has origin stories with some getting a few episodes. Characters like The Riddler & The Penguin obviously had the most focus. We got to see both of them doing all sorts of things.

They even use The Executioner whose the most obscure villain character on the show from the comics. Although comparing them you will notice how different they actually are from each other. At least a great actor played the character well enough to mention him in this review. There's plenty twists as well as turns in this crazy story.

I should mention both Bruce & Selina had to change actors for the final episode because of the time skip. Which further bags the question what I do think of their new actors playing those characters? I will say Lili Simmons does a great job being both sides of Catwoman. There isn't much known about the other new actor.

We mostly get to see parts of him as Batman. I do like his Batman voice more than Christian Bale's. My least favorite character always has been Barbara. Her story by itself makes you question many things. She was a rich girl not happy with her life. After a run in with a serial killer, she becomes insane.

Sometime afterwards, she decided to become a criminal. Eventually one of the leaders of fractions Gordon was fighting against. Although she did help to some degree during a lot of it. I would even say she was one of his biggest allies. She could've easily took him down with one or two fractions help.

She left that life to focus on being a mother. In fact she was in the process of having a building bigger than the Wayne building. Ra's al Ghul in my opinion was used better here than in Arrowverse shows. Usually I would side with Arrowverse shows in most regards. I just felt how they handle Ra's al Ghul in season 3 of Arrow wasn't on the scale as Gotham's.

Batman quickly takes down Mr. J also saving Barbara the one who eventually becomes Batgirl. Do not expect Robin to appear at all, there is virtually no signs leaving to that anywhere in this show. After Bane got taken down, Jim Gordon finally becomes the commissioner. Yes the other important deal that simply doesn't matter as much.

In Dark Knight Rises, Gordon was going to give a speech with the truth about Batman. Following that he would've step down from his position knowing he lied to the city for a few years. But here Gordon was commissioner for a decade. He did had thoughts of stepping down but chose to remain instead.

At one point Gordon had the famous mustache. I kinda wanted to see more of those fractions getting involved with what was going on. Let's be honest not counting Jeremiah & Bruce's story. Most of it was heavily focus on soldiers working Bane taking on the police. Earlier on, there was some gun fights between some of them.

I was kinda hoping for Mr. Freeze to threw some soldiers or The Scarecrow attempts to use his gas on Bane. Why did we even need the later Poison Ivy episode where she drugged Victor Zsasz? The core story of Gotham is solid but some of the other stories come off as somewhat important or simply not needed at all.

Yes this show focuses heavily on Bruce & Gordon since they're the main characters. Both of them have interesting different stories. Obviously this is a prequel show that would lead to Bruce becoming Batman. Jim becomes the commissioner whose a big ally of the dark knight. I am very surprised they actually allowed stuff like pigs eating people's bodies.

Paul Reubens reprises his role as Penguin's father. Keep in mind, both takes from the same actor is two different character. He originally played his dad early on in Batman Returns movie. I am not going to lie Danny DeVito played my favorite version of the character. Yes it isn't as based on him like most adaptations, but his performance was very good.

In that movie, he with his wife chose to throw their first born away. Where he ends up surviving in the sewers. In this show, Reubens plays a much kinder man that welcome his son. Despite the fact Penguin was a criminal. I should mention he recently got release from Arkham after an experiment to not be bad anymore.

I think you can see how that played out easily one of the dumbest things I ever heard. Why would you turn The Penguin into essentially another Peewee Herman lol. Well they already got the actor who plays Peewee so I guess the joke's on me. Gotham isn't perfect but it does hold up better than later portions of Batman 1966 show.

To clarify late season 2 to all of season 3. Gotham does an amazing job keeping it interesting. Yes they loved playing on bringing characters back to life. This was a reference to comic books doing that in some way. So I really didn't mind that much for the most part. Jerome is easily my favorite original villain character.

Jerome is a proto Joker character that inspires his twin brother to continue on his legacy. Deep down he knew no body could do it better. Ecco is a precursor to Harley Quinn. I am still surprised Mr. J killed her off like that. This show loves forcing good people to do bad things. The balance is a strong impression that takes time getting use to.

Before I conclude my long review, Poison Ivy really writers? I would say out of every Batman villain they used on the show. She was given the worst hand by far. She was a little girl until one of Strange's experiments touched her taking some of her lifespan also causing her to age rapidly. She woke up to realize she is now a teenager.

Later on, she turned herself into what we all known her for. She gets reborn as a plant woman with a serious bitch side. Sure bringing back characters to life I could accept. But they chose to greatly alter her character due to a lot of her fans aren't happy. I felt they could've started her out as a grown woman or simply removed her altogether.

I figured since I am reviewing this to quickly add anything to my related blogs here. Thankfully I don't have much to really add here. But I do have one more Joker comparison to do. If you seen those blogs, you already knew this was coming. I'm a huge fan of The Joker since my child hood. I felt both do have things over each other.

Batman 1966 Joker vs. Gotham Mr. J

To clarify this is Jeremiah after he fallen into chemicals. This greatly changed his personality, even the writers stated his new personality was essentially both of their personalities combined. I will be honest I wasn't happy with Jeremiah prior to that happening. He acted cocky with a seriously twisted plan for Bruce.

I would say Caesar Romero's Joker is still better in episodes he's great in. But comparing those same episodes to just the final episode with Mr. J. Suddenly this topic got a lot harder. Mr. J does wear some green stuff like his gloves as well as a bow tie. He confirms he faked being brain dead for a decade.

The fact he was going to use The Riddler as a distraction while framing The Penguin to some degree was genius. Obviously Romero in most episodes played the character. There was one slight time the character cameo played by someone else. Mostly Romero gives a great performance. Yes some episodes like the UFO or my least favorite Joker episode the surfing contest.

Yeah maybe it was wise Gotham took so long to use the character. We don't know much about him personally on Batman 1966 not even his origin. In vice versa, Jerome started this after being revived. Before he died a second time, he made sure a surprise was sent to his brother. This jack in the box transforms some of his features as well as turned him insane.

Basically Jerome started the legacy but it is ultimately his brother that becomes The Joker. I will confess the entire Jerome/Jeremiah story portions are among my favorites. I would even say most of those holds up better than some of Romero's best episodes I'm not kidding. By now you see why this is so hard. When talking about Mr. J you have to talk about the entire Joker mythology story arc.

Yes Jeremiah may not kept me entertained like his brother. Mr. J ends up being more unique to him in many ways. They didn't allow them to call him The Joker as well as having green hair. Yet Jerome in his second life got green hair. He also used a few joker playing cards. Do I even need to mention Batman 1966 Joker wasn't meant to be taken seriously lol.

Some of the stuff he does comes off like some early super hero cartoons I'm not kidding. Clearly I do respect both actors for portraying The Joker. I would say Romero is the most entertaining tone down Joker. Mr. J quickly steals the show in that episode. A lot of people freaked out by his appearance alone.

I am looking at this as humanly close as possible. I think Cameron Monaghan impressed me more. He plays both twin brothers as well as Mr. J whose a different personality in Jeremiah's body. In a sense he played three characters with Mr. J being The Joker. All three of them brings something different to the table.

Yes I know I actually given Romero a win over Jerome. But I still stand by my reasons in that blog. I do think Jeremiah as a whole went from being interesting to kinda boring to wow give me more. Mr. J is a disturbing take on the character even rivaling Heath Ledger's to some degree. As much as Romero stands out in his best Joker episodes, Mr. J simply impressed me more.

When you actually see him talking you will be amaze how much he acts like The Joker. I am not giving him the win because Romero refused to shave his mustache lol. I felt a story like that leading up to a surprisingly great portrayal is tough to beat. Romero is still one of my favorite live action Joker actors without question.

Winner: Mr. J

Dead by Daylight Characters (From start to Ash vs. Evil Dead)

This will be a lengthy blog please take as many breaks as humanly possible. The last thing I want is the darkness consumes you from within.

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, Dead by Daylight will be adding characters until further notice. I recently came back to play with characters that came out since The Spirit. So I am so happy to return to my favorite online multiplayer game. I think it's time to discuss the characters in other ways from my previous blogs.

Unfortunately due to a few problems I can't discuss Bill from Left 4 Dead. I don't own the game on Steam. My main computer isn't able to properly play it. My new laptop still doesn't have Steam working on it. I hope in the near future I get the chance to play as him. Honestly he will be the only character left off this sorry Left 4 Dead fans.

I figured since I got so many characters to cover. I decided to talk about the survivors first. Then I will talk about the killers. I played with most of them enough to know what I'm going to say. I don't have enough interest to do a similar blog with Friday the 13th: The Game. I will be honest I am not crazy about the counselors at all.

1. Dwight Fairfield

Dwight is one of the original survivors in the game. I would say he is still one of the most well rounded survivors. I would say he is one of the easiest characters to learn. I highly recommend starting out with him at the beginning to get more of an idea how the game works. Dwight has some great stuff that can help out to avoid killers as well as saving people.

2. Meg Thomas

Meg is alright for the most part. She is still far from the worst among the survivors. She is meant more for trying to escape faster. But Meg can be a little tricky at start to learn. She works better after getting the great stuff. Meg is one of the faster survivors in the game. I would say she takes time getting use to.

3. Claudette Morel

A lot of people consider Claudette the best of the original survivors. By default she can heal others without a medic. She gets some great stuff to help keeping the team alive. Claudette has the potential of being one of the finest survivors in the game. Even not having much, Claudette can do a lot in a short amount of time.

4. Jake Park

Jake by default can take down hooks without having a toolbox. By giving him a toolbox increases the chances of taking them down or getting generators up. This makes him one of the best characters in the game. Jake is easily one of my favorites among the survivors for those reasons. Especially in a difficult match, Jake could be the game charger.

5. Nea Karlsson

Nea is better suited for moving around the killer in matches. She was introduced with what many considered to be the best killer. Her ability to move fast as well as other skills making avoiding killers easier. I would say if used right you can get everyone out alive. Nea has a lot of great things she can get too.

6. Laurie Strode (Halloween)

Hell yeah Laurie is hands down one of the absolute best survivors of the game. She gets stuff like decisive strike. Which allows you a chance to easily escape from the killer. But you could use it wrong or saving it for later. Even without that, Laurie usually gets to be the killer's obsession. She also has a skill that allows her to see the killer within a particular distance.

7. Ace Visconti

Believe it or not, I started out playing as Ace. He is one of the luck theme characters. This guy can easily get stuff done on himself if used correctly. Ace is indeed a wild card among the survivors. I would say he is one of my favorite survivors. Even without his better skills, you could do a lot with him in matches.

8. Feng Min

Feng is great with technology as well as being a competitor in gaming tournaments. Her skills increases the chances of getting generators up. I would say it is always nice to have her. She also gets some helpful skills to make surviving easier. She can notice the killer before they do. Feng is a personal recommendation from yours truly to play.

9. David King

David is more hands on kind of character. He is a great distraction character to help increasing the chances of survival. David has some great skills to prologue any match if used correctly. He also has more to offer then everybody realizes among the first look. I would say David works best as luring the killer away.

10. Quentin Smith (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 movie)

Quention is another medic character that can easily awake characters from sleep. Of course that mostly applies to going up against Freddy. He is likely to find the exits quicker than everybody else. Like some characters, he can heal faster than others. Despite the movie he is from, Quentin ends up being a nice addition to the roster.

11. David Tapp (Saw)

In some canons, Detective Tapp was an obsessed detective that wants to put an end to the games. Sadly he doesn't make it but still offers a lot of great stuff in this game. Due to his driven nature, he works better for rituals. He also can heal himself faster than some survivors. I would say they chose the same character I would've for this game.

12. Kate Denson

Originally was going to appear with Leatherface. Later making her appearance with The Clown. Kate is difficult to track especially with the right stuff. She also can serve as a game charger. Her ability to hide scratches makes the killer losing track of her fast. Kate can easily escape in the worst situations possible.

13. Adam Francis

Adam is the very survivor to quickly get the killer's attention. He can get himself off the hook which most survivors need someone else's help to do that. Adam can adapt to skill checks quickly making him essential to master. This teacher isn't going to down without a fight. He also has some great skills to help against better killers.

14. Jeff Johansen

Jeff is one of the trickiest survivors for killers to track. He has skills to help him avoid killers especially with great stuff. I would say he is perfect for going for generators close by the killers. Jeff also can track down other survivors. This guy can easily escape from the worst situations possible. Honestly this guy may take some time getting use to but it's well worth every penny.

15. Jane Romero

Jane is a very well around character in the game. I would even say she could be the most even out in abilities based on stuff. Jane can easily hold her own against killers while saving the other survivors. One of the most driven characters in the game. Her ability to push on makes her incredibly tough for a survivor.

16. Ash Williams (Ash vs. Evil Dead)

The most recent survivor added as of early April. Ash from Evil Dead series is easily one of the most awesome survivors in any horror franchise. This guy has been through Hell many times. He also the only guest characters to be customize. This guy is one of the toughest survivors in terms of tanking damage. Funny enough Bruce Campbell allowed his likeness as well as voicing the character. Despite around the cancellation of Ash vs Evil Dead show, the actor stated he retired from playing Ash. In all honestly he is my favorite guest survivors even beating out Laurie.

Now it's time to talk about what stalks you for an entirely in darkness. The killers are mostly original characters too. But I do like how all of this works in a rather unusual way. I already made it clear I do prefer this over Friday the 13th. Just like the comparison blog, every killer brings something to the table.

1. Evan Macmillan aka The Trapper

The Trapper comes as close of them having Jason Voorhees in this game. He also some traits in common with him. True to his name, he does put down several bear traps. He is one of the easiest killers to master. The Trapper is also great for getting blood points. This guy has so much to offer even for being one of the original killers.

2. Philip Ojomo aka The Wraith

Sorry to upset those who may like this guy. I personally do not care for him. The Wraith moves around in two different ways. When invisible he can't damage generators, capture survivors or attack. He can do those after making himself visible to survivors. Even reading his back story I wasn't a fan of it.

3. Max Thompson Jr. aka The Hillbilly

There's an interesting story relating to this guy. Early on the team wanted Leatherface in the game. At the time they couldn't get him. They decided to create The Hillbilly in his place. Thus he shares as many things in common as The Trapper does with Jason. His ability to use the chainsaw is one of the coolest things I ever seen. This guy is well round enough to easily handle a group of survivors on his own.

4. Sally Smithson aka The Nurse

The Nurse is often regarded as one of the finest killers of the game. She can teleport even through parts of the map to land blows. She is also one of the most difficult killers to master. If used correctly she can easily take out a group of survivors in record time I'm not kidding. The Nurse has more unique stuff to make her a huge threat while playing as one of the survivors.

5. Michael Myers aka The Shape (Halloween)

Michael is hands down one of my favorite killers in this game. I'm a huge Halloween fan that loved the care they put into him. Especially the mistreatment of him in a Call of Duty game. Yes I'm calling you out Activision for doing that. Michael can easily guarantee hunting down survivors in record time too. I love instead of the usual music for stalking survivors, it plays his theme instead.

6. Lisa Sherwood aka The Hag

The Hag is great for gathering blood points. She can teleport around the map depending on the distance. This also allows her to surprise attack survivors when they at least expect it. I will be honest at first I wasn't crazy for her. I got to say I love playing as her for many reasons. She is one of the hardest to predict killers in the game.

7. Herman Carter aka The Doctor

I started on the killer side with this guy. The Doctor is a mad scientist that's all about madness. He is also the first killer to have two different attacks. I highly recommend using him if you want blood points fast. This guy really brings such an uniqueness to the game. The Doctor is hands down one of the most fun killers to play as in my opinion.

8. Anna aka The Huntress

The Huntress is clearly the constantly moving killer. She can strike you with an axe as well as throw several at survivors. Funny enough, lockers the common survivor hiding place is where she gets her axes from. She also hums a lullaby when she gets close to survivors. Her throwing axe ability is one of the most powerful attacks in the game.

9. Junior Sawyer aka The Cannibal (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre)

Leatherface does have some key differences from The Hillbilly. When he uses his chainsaw he can hold his charge. But you can't fully control the chainsaw attack after it's unleashed. Leatherface also makes his usual groans similar to his movies. He also has different skills from those of The Hillbilly. I would say using the hammer is easier but not as fun using the chainsaw.

10. Freddy Krueger aka The Nightmare (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 movie)

A lot of people consider Freddy among the worst killers. Freddy remains in the dream world in the matches. He can't do anything to survivors until they fallen asleep. This does make him similar to The Spirit & The Wraith. When he gets close, parts of his song plays. To me, Freddy is one of the more interesting killers in the game. Sure you have to bring people into the dream world but he has a lot to offer. He can easily level the playing field if used correctly.

11. Amanda Young aka The Pig (Saw)

I already wasn't a fan of Amanda from Saw series. I will say I am glad they chose that appearance of hers. The Pig also adds a twist to the matches. She can put reverse bear traps on survivors. Thus forcing survivors to locate stations to remove the trap. However it is at random chosen which station will remove them. Which means you could be wasting your time doing one or two stations. At least you will gain some time. If you do not get them off in time, the trap will kill you.

12. Kenneth "Jeffrey Hawk" Chase aka The Clown

The Clown is widely known for drugging survivors by throwing his mixture in bottles. He also has the weirdest mori of all the killers too. This guy is the first killer to have multiple facial expression. The Clown is one of the creepiest killers in my opinion. I love playing as this guy since I love killer clown movies.

13. Rin Yamaoka aka The Spirit

I knew when she was revealed I was going to love her. WOW The Spirit is an interesting twist to the game. She can move normally or phrase walk allowing her to surprise attack survivors. But you won't be able to see them during a phrase walk. She does has a fast attack rate as long as a great attack distance. Her story is a very tragic tale that makes her very appealing to me.

14. Frank, Julie, Susie and Joey aka The Legion

As of right now the closest they gotten to bringing Scream's Ghostface to the game. The Legion also serves as a foreshadowing to what eventually happens to survivors during their last death. This killer is four people merged into one being. Just like survivors, The Legion can hop over pallets. Due to being four people, customizing this character can get crazy. A lot of people aren't crazy about The Legion. Honestly I am glad to see them in the game.

15. Adiris aka The Plague

The most recent killer added to the game. The Plague is one of the most mess up killers yet. This lady will split at survivors. I will be honest out of all the moris, I really don't like hers. This character can be tricky to play as at first. I will say she quickly grew up on me. Honestly The Plague is truly one of the craziest in designs among the killers.

Jack Red reviews The Ren & Stimpy Show

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I am very happy I get to talk about one of my favorite nick toons of all time. A show that's more mature as well as weird than it should be. Imagine Animaniacs with more direct adult humor, more disgusting and down right mess up stories. You are probably watching The Ren & Stimpy Show.

To clarify I don't own The Lost Episodes. Oh ok technically speaking some of these episodes didn't get to air on the original cartoon. A couple of newer Ren & Stimpy episodes that are more adult aimed. There was a short lived follow up show that wasn't anything like this at all. Now you know why The Ren & Stimpy Almost Complete Collection got it's title.

A lot of fans didn't like it, they felt it shouldn't be included with the original cartoon. I'm sure some people got all of that hopefully one day I will. The Ren & Stimpy Show is honestly one of the most mess up cartoons I have ever seen. Instead of a new bigger box set, the previous three gets covered in plastic.

At first I was wondering why but thankfully I really got my money's worth. I got to say this show is beyond what I recall of it growing up. I really enjoy watching this amazing twisted cartoon. I think part of it's charm is we all know it was meant for kids yet comes more off to young adults. Somehow they did a great job making everyone happy.

Hard to believe Nickelodeon aired something like this. Maybe I'll review another personal favorite shorter lived cartoon I also love with an passion. Back in the day I would spent hours watching cartoons on Nickelodeon as well as Cartoon Network. Honestly this show is easily one of the funniest cartoons I ever seen.

It is so well written that the jokes just work. Ren is a maniac waiting to happen even over little things. Stimpy is more lay back, kind hearted & takes punishment better. Ren does work but loves getting rich plans. Powdered Toast Man is one of the most mess up super hero parodies I ever seen. Funny enough, there's a short lived super hero cartoon called The Ripping Friends clearly inspired by that.

The Ren & Stimpy Show never truly gets boring at all. Sometimes it goes so far outside the box. I felt almost speechless in those episodes. Let's just say episodes like being inside a black hole was one of the strangest. Don't pay attention to time because this show doesn't stay to just doing one set story line.

Oh hell no they do as ridiculous as humanly possible. Keep in mind this was before stuff like Family Guy. Another cartoon eventually I'll talk about in the near future. OMG the work that went into this show is absolutely amazing. Even the acting holds up incredibly well by today's standards. I do got to say I do wish there was more interesting bonus stuff on these DVDs.

Don't get me wrong I got every episode of the original cartoon. I just wanted more surprises is what I'm saying. Speaking of that, this isn't exactly uncut either. Some users claim several scenes got removed from these DVDs entirely. Sadly I myself can't deny or confirm how true that claim is. There is a few extra episodes including an alternate version of another episode.

I am mind blown Man's Best Friend aka Banned Ren & Stimpy episode made it. The creator/animator John Kricfalusi got fired due to a particular scene in this episode. More surprising they started the adult party cartoon show with this particular episode. Yeah maybe wasn't the greatest idea if you ask me.

I made sure to watch every single episode just for nostalgia and doing this review. I didn't grow up with any of the games. I did own a game based on another Nickelodeon classic on Sega Genesis. The Ren & Stimpy Show is essentially The Looney Tunes on drugs, more twisted humor as well as being way more digusting.

The Ren & Stimpy Show packs more than a few toon force worth of punches. It will have you on the ground laughing maybe a trip to the hospital. Yes I am not kidding this show is hilarious at it's core. Honestly I highly recommend this Nickelodeon classic all the way. I don't really have any strong negatives towards the show at all.

The Joker will be on Gotham

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, this may cause my final Joker comparison to be sooner. I will say I'm keeping the one with Jerome right where it is. I will be adding stuff to Jeremiah as well as The Joker. Yes they just confirmed The Joker will in fact be on Gotham very late in the show. I was starting to figure this third Joker character had to be him recently.

I am very excited since The Joker is one of my absolute favorite fictional villains of all time. The damage he could do is ridiculous for someone who doesn't have powers. I do like Gotham chose to do more of a mythology route for the character. It not only makes him more of a mystery but it also makes more sense why Bruce will always stand against them.

Jerome with his brother used to work in the circus. Both of them had a lot of key traits of the character. I would say Jerome is easily more minor out of the two brothers. Jeremiah comes very close but no cigar. I will say I do like all the story centering them for the most part. How can you call it a Batman show without The Joker?

Everyone knows The Joker is his nemesis for so many reasons. The best short way to explain it is they're both two halves of the same coin. Batman represents order while The Joker represents chaos. There has to be both of them regardless how things plays out. The fact the same guy is playing all three characters.

I really hope I get the chance to personally shake his hand & tell him thank you for your truly amazing performances. Let's be honest The Joker is a very complex character. At first sight he looks like someone not to be taken seriously. Trust me that's exactly how he ends up doing some truly horrible things to people.

The way this final season is going I won't be adding much to most characters in comparisons. In fact, I'm positive majority of my decisions will remain the same. I still want to do one more on The Joker. You can't blame me for being a huge fan of his. This guy is legendary in what he does. Obviously his performances very late in a show has to be enough to rival Romero's take or he will lose.

I can't wait to watch the final two episodes. Gotham tells mostly a great story with some parts I felt would've made it even better without them. Honestly The Joker even appearing on Gotham while a Joker movie is coming out is mind blowing to me. DC went out of their way to limit how much of the character could be on the show.

The Joker deserves a spot on Gotham. Even if he shows up in just one scene like in Birds of Prey show. This guy always brings chaos everywhere he goes. Usually the dark knight ends up stopping him over the years. For me it would be a big no if they kept him off the show. Now that's like if a TMNT show left off The Shredder.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season review

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I been waiting a long time for this. The conclusion to Telltale's The Walking Dead series. I took a chance back in season 1 to end up becoming a huge fan of their work. Man I got to say this will not be a negative review by any means. I also will try to keep stuff from being at least a small spoiler portions.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season is essentially season 4. Unlike previous seasons, this has four episodes. But also unlike them, the length of each episode is notably longer this time around. They took a page from The Wolf Among Us in terms of having collectibles. Let's be honest you simply play them regardless of what happens to guarantee getting every achievement/trophy.

I do like they were able to have more actual achievements in each of these episodes. OMG I was so worried when Telltale stated they stopped working. This led to some ugly truths as well as one confirmed lawsuit against them. Thankfully Skybound Games with the creator of The Walking Dead helped continue the development.

Basically they were finishing episode 2 at the time. It is very clear very soon they will fully go out of business. I do believe a lot of people will greatly be upset when that happens. What I'm trying to say is it's a miracle we get to fully experience this at all. In most cases, games get altered to become other games or morel likely canceled altogether.

I will say Clementine gives a truly amazing performance. I do like the first cover mirrors one from season 1 with her & Lee. By now a lot of people already know too much about the game. I still holding onto being true to my word to not give too much away. I will say this is the best Telltale game I ever played period.

I felt not only every decisions I made was important but you could explore more than any of the previous games. I know for some this is like The Last of Us which my wife being a huge fan of that. This game tells it's story hands down the best. Everything comes together more perfectly than I was even expecting.

I kid you not this game has plenty of moments that caught me off guard. More than it usually does honestly. This is essentially how point & click games needs to be. I would even say this is among the very best horror games I ever played. Keep in mind as I stated in another blog, I got The Walking Dead Collection free because I preordered this.

I don't usually preorder games with this being the second preorder I ever done. Yes before I preordered RE2 Remake. I noticed a pattern, all the games I preordered so far has zombies lol. I like they really made this it's own experience. For a final game in both the series & a company, this is a great game to go out on.

I love how they reference the previous games in many ways. Clementine started off as a little girl by herself to quickly befriend a man named Lee in most of season 1. From season 2, she is getting better at surviving. In season 3, she was more cautious of people while befriending a family. In this one, she completes her journey in a way I really shouldn't give any hints about.

Otherwise I could be ruining more than just this game in particular. Therefore I don't want to discredit them or you guys from fully experience this truly amazing series. Honestly I am huge I got to play it to the end. I was so amazed by all the hard work went into this one. I knew this was going to be able to stand out on it's own.

This is in my opinion as close to a perfect Walking Dead game you could possibly get. Yes I'm not going to hide it anymore, even season 1 can't compete with this. Everything about it makes the entire experience so great. Not only being able to replay any episodes is nice. I also like how they broken them all up to help giving you more of an idea how much is left.

This is chemistry at it's finest folks. The Walking Dead: The Final Season is the perfect conclusion to any game series. I rather have it end the way it was meant to than to simply keep going or rebooted/remade. This game puts so much great stuff in that I honestly can't say a real negative thing about it.
