Did Bleach rip off both Yu Yu Hakusho and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure?

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, today I do an comparison with Bleach. But instead of focusing on one manga franchise, I ended up bringing in another making this rather an interesting topic. Which bags the question, did Bleach rip off both Yu Yu Hakusho and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure? Keep in mind, Jump Force had characters from all three franchises so you could view this as a follow up to that comparison blog.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure started first in 1987. It also the only manga series currently going out of the three. Although Bleach does have connections to Burn the Witch. Then it was Yu Yu Hakusho in 1990, speaking of this master piece as well as Hunter x Hunter. The author of those works, Yoshihiro Togashi isn't doing well right now.

Let's hope he can pull through. Moving on Bleach started in 2001. I do wanna confirm a few select things to help prevent confusion. I'm not doing a full story comparison between Bleach and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. A little heads up in the near future, I do plan on reviewing a more recent JoJo game thanks to Game Pass. It doesn't mean I don't have a major reason to not compare the two.

In Yu Yu Hakusho's case, yes I will be directly comparing parts of the story. I may bring up non canon but ultimately not considering it for both comparisons. Otherwise I'm mostly focusing on canon stuff. Considering I don't have as much to go into, I felt I'm going to start comparing Bleach to JoJo first. Obviously Parts 1 and 2 of JoJo aren't a part of this comparison I'm about to make.

I also want to confirm yes Part 9 called JOJOLands is in the process of being written soon. Yes JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is among the longest manga series in the world. It's already longer than both Bleach and Yu Yu Hakusho combined. Honestly, I highly recommend either checking this manga series or the anime show out.

Did Bleach rip off JoJo's Bizarre Adventure?

Introduced early Part 3 of JoJo are spiritual beings connected to the characters named Stands. In a few ways excluding the Bounts from filler arcs of the anime show. Bleach has a few similar theme mechanics. Most JoJo characters we see using Stands are humans. Fullbringers & Quincies are essentially humans with spiritual powers.

There's a few major differences like most powers the quincies had came from their king, Yhwach. Fullbringers' powers came from something tragic. You know kinda like a lot of mutants in Marvel comics. Something unpleasant happens then suddenly they unlock a power from inside themselves. In JoJo's case, technically there's three ways to get Stands.

1. You are born with it
2. You got pierced by a particular unusual arrow
3. You stolen another person's body like the case of DIO

Soul reapers uses their spiritual partners named Zanpakutos in the form of weapons. I know what some of you are thinking, Bleach predates Soul Eater by a few years. The closest zanpakuto that acts virtually similar to a Stand in JoJo is Tenken. Which belongs to Captain Komamura. Most soul reapers aren't human with very few exceptions.

I also pointed Komamura out because he's a canine character. Believe it or not, Part 3 of JoJo had Iggy a small dog with it's own Stand. Don't worry the two characters are vastly different. Tenken is a giant golem when hurt by his enemies, also injuries Komamura in the process. Just like most Stand users in JoJo.

I also gotta mention in Part 2 of JoJo, the Pillar Men are very old living beings. One of them is also responsible for making masks that transforms anyone that wears em into vampires. Their leader, Kars transformed himself with the Red Stone of Aja with stuff used for those masks. He virtually became a nearly invincible character with shape shifting.

In Bleach, Yhwach had centuries under his belt including the entire process of regaining all his powers. Both Kars & Yhwach appeared similar to humans. In the end, both threw away their own people without a care in the world. I'm not going to do a full on in depth comparison of these powers. Obviously a lot of manga franchises uses a good number of them, it's very time consuming.

Stands do differ more notably in size. In most cases their height is slightly the same or a little taller than their user. Some Stands either had limited control while others the users have virtually none at all. Some can even remain activate after the user's death. One strong similarity JoJo Stand users and Zanpakutos is their wielders also uses their powers.

Other beings can see Zanpakutos too with plenty of proof. Only Stand users can see other Stands. Also there's more unusual powers among the Stands in comparison. Like some can manipulate particular concepts including some forms of reality manipulation. Such as time stopping or removing a few seconds with visions what would've happened.

I also need to point other stuff out. Some Stands & Zanpakutos are multiple spiritual beings to one person. This is more obvious in JoJo's case because a couple Stands are groups of them. Even a middle school kid had an Stand like this. How both communicates is vastly differently too. In JoJo's case, they can talk to each other like normal people

In Bleach's case it's more mental & spiritual take on communications. Thus, unless you were a part of them you can't talk to their Zanpakutos at all. Even some Stands on their own directly talks to people. Although most users can use their Stands to talk for them as well. I figured this is something people often forget about in these comparisons.

In other words, even for the record we state Bleach characters are higher tier from those JoJo's universe. It still doesn't change the fact, more ridiculous powers are actually present within JoJo. I even witness stuff I almost went speechless on among seeing it with my own eyes. What I'm trying to see is some Stands are capable of truly ridiculous things on scales beyond what you see in Bleach universe.

Virtually some Stands are insanely powerful as well as being broken. No literately like Father Pucci altered his Stand to be able to sped up time so fast, it actually caused an universal reset. This actually occurred twice very late into Part 6 of JoJo for reference purposes. The same section of the story had a man capable of bringing fictional characters to life as well as manipulating fate itself no lie.

Not to mention, DIO returns in Part 3 with Jonathan's body to get revenge on the Joestar family. Which is similar to Yhwach wanting revenge on the soul reapers. He personally killed Head Captain Yamamoto after sealing his bankai away. Now it's time to ask the question. Did Bleach rip off JoJo's Bizarre Adventure?

To be quite honest, yes there's some interesting similarities. But even those had plenty of differences as well. Like Ichigo was part Quincy because of his mother already being one. Which led with help, Ichigo killing Yhwach effectively getting rid of all his powers. This is strangely similar to DIO had four sons, one of them named Giorno.

Who ended up being more like his father's nemesis family rather than his old man. Potentially anyone could hurt an soul reaper. I know some fans misbeliefs state otherwise. Quincies and Fullbringers are humans with powers, there's proof both had harm even killed some soul reapers. Which also means they could break Zanpakutos too.

Which isn't the case in JoJo because only Stands can harm each other. Unless they can actually become part of their own Stands. To sum it up, for most Stands can only be harmed by other Stands. Diego in Part 7 can transform into a dinosaur allowed him to break that long standing rule to harm another Stand. The final verdict on this matter is Bleach surprisingly didn't rip off JoJo.

I'm sure some people would be more interested in this following comparison. Both anime shows had the same director, Noriyuki Abe. This will be a more direct story comparison. I even felt the similarities alone makes this rather interesting to discuss. I'm a huge fan of these three franchises. Of course, eventually I had to talk about this one.

Bleach isn't a rip off of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Did Bleach rip off Yu Yu Hakusho?

Both have a high school student as the main character. Although how both ended up working for the afterlife is notably different. Later in the story, Yusuke was revealed to be an descendant of Raizen. One of the Three Kings also the strongest among the three as well. Earlier in another comparison, I stated Ichigo had Quincy connections because of his mom.

Thus, his Quincy powers came from Yhwach whose an old, powerful being. Basically both characters are unique hybrids with very high potential even for their respective universes. Ichigo also part hollow which also came from his mom. Obviously both use spiritual weapons. Yusuke uses his famous Spirit Gun while Ichigo uses his Zanpakutos named Zangetsus until Yhwach's death removed one of them.

Yusuke protects the human world from demons. Which is similar to Ichigo protecting the human world from all kind of threats mostly hollows. Both stories had a particular story arc with some strong similarities. By now you already knew this was coming. Chapter Black Arc & Fullbring Arc arc are incredibly similar stories.

Our heroes with their allies takes on humans with powers. Their leaders so happened to be the very person in the main character's jobs before them. By pure coincidence, both groups also had a gamer among them. Yes their goals were vastly different. Fullbringers planned to steal Ichigo's Fullbringer's powers for themselves.

Sensui planned to open a portal capable of letting A Class demons into the human world while he dies. Keep in mind, A Class demons are capable of destroying the human world with ease. In terms of how both characters gets their spiritual jobs, that's different enough no ripping off there. Yusuke & Ichigo are often viewed among the strongest characters.

I would say Ichigo isn't a rip off of Yusuke despite the similarities they share. There's more critical differences that proves Ichigo actually more of his own character. Ichigo eventually gets a hybrid form using all of his spiritual pressure together. Yusuke has to manually switch between his human & demon energies as shown in his fight against Yomi, another of the Three Kings in a tournament match.

Another major difference is Yusuke earned additional energy that's passed down. Which led to his master, Genkai's death. Don't worry she returns in the following story arc like nothing happened. Yes some deceased characters in Bleach helped somewhat in the final story arc. More true with a chapter following it's own time skip briefly bringing back another former Espada character who escaped Hell.

Also not to upset Yu Yu Hakusho fans, Yusuke doesn't get the girl in the end while Ichigo does. A good amount of their respective story arcs are vastly different enough. I knew eventually those two particular story arcs was going to be the hard one. In Chapter Black Arc, Yusuke is an enemy of Sensui and his group.

This wasn't the case in Fullbring Arc as most of them had their memories altered on purpose in order to trick Ichigo. After all, they wanted a power increase by stealing his Fullbringer's powers. By vastly different means, both our heroes gets back to fight the main antagonist of those story arcs. Yusuke was at death's door then his demon side came out also transforming his spiritual beast.

He still wasn't powerful enough to beat Sensui on his own. Then out of no where his ancestor Raizen took control over his body to kill Sensui. Which is actually similar to Ichigo himself being on death's door in the more famous Arrancar Arc. When an Espada named Ulquiorra blasted a Cero through Ichigo's chest.

He wasn't getting healed by Orihime's powers. Then his hollow took control facing Ulquiorra whose still in his strongest form dominating him badly. Which is exactly what Raizen did to Sensui in comparison. Ichigo was given a mix of spiritual pressure from the soul reapers to effectively become an soul reaper again.

As previously stated Ichigo had two spiritual beings connected to him while Yusuke has one spiritual beast. Which was part of his deal with his then boss Koenma. A major difference is Yusuke was a spiritual detective while Ichigo being an substitute soul reaper. Ultimately their jobs involved protecting the balance in all things mostly in the human world.

There were times, our heroes fought in other plains of existence. In canon, Hell isn't one of those with very clear differences in representing Hell within their respective universes. Ichigo never fought in tournaments either. Yes both had training periods but those are also vastly different as well. I would actually say most of Bleach isn't actually ripping off Yu Yu Hakusho.

Ichigo had one fight with Ginjo that isn't training while Yusuke had a few fights with Sensui. Another major difference is Sensui suffered from a couple multiple personalities. In his own mind, he with those personalities acted as their own group with a different percentage of power. Obviously the main personality is virtually the most powerful.

Just from powering up while in the human world, it threatened to destroy with ease. So he was forced to hold back, still dominating despite some surprise attacks from Yusuke. This is interesting because soul reaper lieutenants and captains had their spiritual pressures tone down for balance purposes. Especially in Kenpachi Zaraki's case with an eyepatch that also limits his power down.

The only notable exception was against Aizen in the human world. Yes this gets confirmed in a conversation. Aizen was strong enough to force them risking destroying the human world to let that go. During the later portions, King Enma takes control back from his son Koenma of the afterlife. Which happened due to missing that critical connection of Raizen on Yusuke.

Yhwach tricked Ichigo into killing his father, the Soul King. Which led to Yhwach becoming the new soul king in the process. This is clearly opposite what happened in Yu Yu Hakusho. Yes Koenma did over threw his father because he was willing to cause things to happen. Virtually having no regard of anyone harmed or killed.

In Koenma's case, he actually did it for a good reason. Thus, he started the Spirit Detective agency to make everything better. Even with Fullbring Arc being strikingly similar, I got to say it does just enough things differently to not be labeled as a rip off of Chapter Black Arc. Even with both being the next arc after their respective stories' most famous arcs.

In conclusion, there's plenty of differences that prevents Bleach being called a rip off of Yu Yu Hakusho. Especially the ones that's vastly different. The similar ones even have big, critical differences to prove Bleach isn't a rip off at all. I know this may come out as a huge surprise to some. Let's be honest, a crossover with these two is something I would watch in a heart beat.

Ranking all main Saints Row games

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, of course I waited to properly do my ranking of Saints Row or rather a more recent, updated ranking of the franchise. I figured after playing the newest entry as well as paying close attention to several things.

Most games are allowed but there's two games excluded. Agents of Mayhem may have some loose connections to the franchise, it isn't an actual Saints Row game. Also Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell by itself would've easily got the bottom hands down. Sure it serves as the conclusion to IV but the endings bags way more questions with not enough answers.

Alright let's get this ranking goes with number 5. To clarify something real quick, even the worst is still a decent game. In some cases, the higher ranked games I had to literately pull hairs. Also this is strictly my opinion alone, everyone has their own tastes. I would be curious enough to check out other people's ranking on these topics.

I didn't feel the need to doing a Top 5 Favorite Saints Row games ranking because that may upset some people. To clarify, the original would've been number 5. Saints Row IV easily would've been my number 1 on that list. So I felt excluding it may make more people happy.

Saints Row (2022) review

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I been busy playing a lot of Saints Row series. Yes I got my hands on the newest reboot game. Before I get into the actual review. Recently, I gotten every achievement in Saints Row IV: Re-Elected on Xbox One. Technically my second time doing that following the PS4 version. Also following Saints Row: The Third Remastered on Xbox One.

You can tell I been busy reliving one of my personal favorite game franchises. I would even put it up high with Tekken, Soulcalibur, Resident Evil and Dead Rising respectively. So you know for me it's a huge deal. I also gotten an 100% completion in the new Saints Row game. Now I got all of that off my shoulders let's go right into the review.

Saints Row like the original Saints Row game is a new beginning. Let's be honest, Saints Row IV was meant to be the end. Including Gat Out of Hell into it, Saints Row IV was really ridiculous. It made sense they had to hold back on the humor. I wouldn't say there wasn't jokes that didn't fly because a lot of them did.

Also like the original Saints Row game, both the Saints gangs were founded in churches. Yes some might be disappointed it's just The Saints this time around. At the same time that also worked to their advantage too. I will say this I do wish they added more to the title. Simply calling it Saints Row brings confusion especially looking up streams on websites like Twitch.

This might suddenly turn into a controversial review because a lot of the complaints I heard. Either people stayed turned off by the trailers while playing the game, some stuff wasn't entirely true or simply became a target. A target of people who wants something to complain about even for no real reason. Majority that spoke about the game considered it among the worst of 2022.

Which I strongly felt isn't what it deserves at all. The reboot direction especially after another possibility from Agents of Mayhem failed was a good decision. You might not like the character but for me all of them grew on me in some way. Let's be honest, who actually plays this style of video games for the story? Not enough to make it a major issue.

I am sure most of them are more into the actual game play, which is very critical. There's plenty of changes from the original game series. Such as owning a business has more involve this time around. They even made places like Let's Pretend stand out more too. Most of them comes with their own missions.

You also get missions from other people as well. Obviously the campaign itself is present. I do like the concept three of four original members of The Saints were previously members of the enemy groups. Your main character was temporary working for Marshall. No not the clothing store but that would've been funny.

Marshall Defense Industries also acts as a form of law enforcement. Which is also strangely interesting because the game in a few ways treated them as an gang. I will go into that just a little bit. Neenah was a member of the gang Los Panteros. This gang is strikingly similar to another gang from Saints Row 2 named Brotherhood.

I'll quickly break it down too. Both had similar leaders that drives their customized monster trucks. Kevin or Kev for short used to be a member of the gang The Idols. This gang is filled with people obsessed with causing chaos to community. Which would fit in perfectly if this were a Batman game. They often throw parties around the city.

You wanna know the weirdest thing about The Idols? Somehow they broke the long standing record for the most leaders in an gang or organization. The previous record was held by The Syndicate. Three leaders of each gang that formed that crime organization. Well let's double that, The Idols has six leaders called The Collective.

Now they should give you an idea how massive this gang truly is on it's own. You actually get a great idea of that as you go for an 100% completion I'm not kidding. Believe it or not, you can take out all six leaders in the actual game. Some may compare them to The Deckers, I'll be honest I did a few times myself.

Both had intelligent leaders with their respective gangs having a punk inspired style clothing. Also some of their actions were stuff most of their enemies wouldn't considered doing. I meant in terms of both gangs have wits over everything else. Beyond that everything else is notably different. The Deckers were more of an order gang while The Idols being more a chaotic one in comparison.

All the enemy leaders including the main antagonist dies. It is structure similar to Saints Row: The Third, you take out some leaders during the campaign in a particular order. Now I know a lot of people prefer the first two Saints Row games. When it comes to their respective campaign structures. Where you actually can choose which gangs to take out in any order you want.

Those are your three main enemy groups. Of course, you also deal with the police as well. It is nice to have a variety of enemy groups again. Going back to Marshall, they brought back the gang notoriety feature. Marshall with the two enemy gangs shows up on the top notoriety meter. The police gets the bottom notoriety meter by themselves.

This is weird because neither STAG or Ultor got their own notoriety symbols. Instead both got treated as the police on that feature. There is a lot of collectibles too. Either collecting drug packages or finding collectibles hidden around the map. A good number of them will require your cell phone to take pictures of to claim.

Yes there are loyalty missions as well. Which ends up being some of the better missions in the game. I didn't experience that much technical issues. Then again I did get the game earlier this month. A major issue I kept running into is boundaries. If you go too far off the map. Instead of getting blocked or simply turned around.

You will get a quick loading screen followed by you reappear within the map. Also some missions isn't clear what the boundaries you have to stay for the missions. Which does apply to the extra stuff you can do as well. They should change the map boundary. If we had to stay within a certain amount of area. Why couldn't you give us some idea how much ground we actually have?

Rather than all of a sudden time limit. It is a very short time limit to get back into boundaries too. We are talking a few seconds, yes one of those strict time limits. I never noticed this in the other Saints Row games before. Why all of a sudden they do this here? Also customizing wise needs a little more interesting variety.

It is still weird you no longer simply have the option to choose your sex. Yeah you have to choice one of the pre-created models first then customize them. Some are male while others are female. They didn't include Trans which may upset some people. Radio wise, it's still technically better than Gat Out of Hell simply because this has a radio!!!

The music selection however isn't that great. Usually they have some great songs on the radio. Yes you can even select your favorites to be in it's own custom radio channel while in vehicles or walking around. Yes not a lot of people knows if you access music on your cell phone, you can explore outside vehicles.

You still learn to your favorite songs to keep you going. A feature previously done in Saints Row IV, not a lot of people noticed there either. Money collecting wise, it does start rather small as well as slow. If you do everything that increases the amount as well as the rate your money increases. It actually turns out to be the very best in the series by far.

Your money does add up real time but your true maximum you can withdraw is $10 million dollars!!! In most Saints Row games, there's a few clothing stores you may realize. I do like how they went about the weapons too. Some newer weapons are among my favorites to date. Like there's a boxing glove gun that can be dual wielded or this small rocket.

This rocket can cause any target to fly upwards then explode. You also get a device that allows you to shoot through walls including people inside an tank. Thus, you actually can quickly destroy tanks without any explosives is pretty insane. Speaking of insanity, two particular activities do return in this game.

Insurance Fraud & Mayhem, I would say one is roughly in the middle while the other ended up being my favorite. Insurance Fraud changed how the meter works. After it's filled among hitting vehicles, they may explode. If you do all of them then go see the lady. You get a very unexpected reward, Insurance Fraud Anywhere.

All you do is simply call her up then you will instantly start Insurance Fraud where you called her from. I absolutely love Insurance Fraud for years, so I was over joyed with this particular reward. Mayhem is mind blowing greatness. They made it fully arcade style with the scoring. It's also like the first two Saints Row games because rival groups comes after during these.

They even done one Tank Mayhem as well as one plane variation. You will get a tank automatically in your garages from doing these. You also can do LARPing in the game too. It's short for live action role playing, a lot of people do this in real life. You get to own your own castle for this. Some additional stuff becomes available from it too.

I got to talk about Wanted, it's an app where people hunt down other people. Hitman, Assassination and Security Deletion are all about hunting down particular targets. Wanted does a few things differently. Each target has their own story lines. The person that gives you those targets gives you instructions how each target gets taken out.

Let's say they got a little more creative here this time. Some may prefer simply showing up or doing something to cause the target to appear more. Personally, I liked what they done here with the concept. The usual car place is replaced by Jim Rob's Garage. A man you previously worked with while back in Marshall.

A short story after helping him get his new business started, you become his business partner. I kinda liked the idea of that rather than buying or hacking in IV's case those car businesses. Thus, you actually have more reason to care about the business. Some businesses, I liked your character is teaching these people to get better at their jobs too.

This boss does things the previous one never got to do. Like driving trucks with toxic waste barrels to a particular location, help prevent the clean crew from getting into trouble & take part in heists. Yes I had played GTA V, I absolutely didn't like how that went about heists. I liked in Saints Row, you go to each location to take pictures.

Which gets sent to a member of the team to help come up with better strategies. Yes mostly doing that, holding off the police or Marshall in the last heist & escaping. To me, those were both more interesting as well as fun to play. Some of these missions are virtually doing the same thing repeatedly a set number of times.

Some of them offers some variety like the technology business. I highly recommend doing all of it's missions for some rather cool surprises. Such as the hover board, yes as in Back to the Future movies concept. You also get previously mentioned rocket that attached to people as well as that device. Which also reminds me of a particular rifle in Perfect Dark.

Yes you can take out operations around the city but some are different than expected. A good number of them is simply wipe all of them out. You also got find & destroy police vans. There's also destroying drones from Marshall or defend the stash from enemy groups for a time limit. Some of these do have boss characters mostly mini ones.

I did find a member of The Collective too during one of these. You can also build a tower, the last major property you can own. Yes you may not own as many businesses as the other games. Don't worry in many ways the game greatly makes up for that. I also enjoyed Pony Express, you have to rush to the drop off locations while avoiding the police.

For any groups that spotted you, after you reached the drop off location. You have to take all of them out to complete the mission. Not to piss the companies responsible for the actual game off. I felt the best of writing went into the extra stuff more than the actual main campaign. I think it's time to talk about the game's main antagonist himself. He is named The Nahualli, he has his own enemy group.

Although they or himself doesn't affect either notoriety meters in the game, weird I know. His group shows up in a handful of missions. You indirectly got him arrested while receiving a permission. After not protecting a particular object, the boss himself fires you. Later on, you got The Nahualli to help in the train robbing mission.

Then right before your party, he betrays you. Most of the Saints got killed with your three close friends kidnapped. Of course, you know what exactly followed all of that. You ended up killing all of his men plus the man himself. The reason why he betrays you is a little weird to say. I felt the campaign itself was a good length.

I also gotta mention in a weird sense Professor Genki's events got a spiritual successor. In the form of Boot Hill, it's a live streamed kill event. Like in those events, you are awarded with better weapons. The goal is kill most enemies then survive. I should mention, a good amount of these missions have a lot of enemies.

You now can customize your character on the fly through your cell phone, I loved this idea. First Strike Dojo missions is a spiritual successor to both Fight Club & Super Power Fight Club. You take out members of a rival dojo including their sensei with several melee weapons. I grew up playing beat em up games so I felt right at home with these missions.

Another cool feature you can unlock involves the flight suit. The flight suit is your gliding mechanic in the game. You can jump off tall buildings or aircraft high up in the sky or even jump off vehicles on the road to glide. Some particular stuff do require getting better at using the flight suit. You have to disrupt frequencies for most enemy groups to unlock the ability to prevent them from calling in more enemies.

This game actually shows you how truly creative & scary The Saints can truly be. I would say it's a good reboot of a franchise that simply got the worst reception. Honestly, another notable problem is you can tell by several things including the main story. The team really tried to pull off both major styles of the franchise but doesn't work well.

Personally I would've done something that would've required time as well as more people to pull it off. You could even say this is incredibly ambitious concept. What I would've done is give the players a choice of how the game would be played. Either the classic Saints Row style with the respect system or the later style of the later games.

Another factor is they could've simply came up with a new style more fitting of the game itself. This is a game that's notably better than what majority claimed of it. I did notice a lot of people quickly jumped on "bullet sponge" enemies. Yes some enemies are tougher than others are usually the bosses including the mini bosses.

The way most of them talked about a regular enemy takes forever to kill simply isn't true. I will explain exactly why too. Yes there is a leveling system with the max level being 20. Which is virtually the same as Gat Out of Hell but it should've been a little higher. Both The Third & IV's max level was 50. But I'll take that over Dead Rising making the max level being 100.

I would even say DR4 truly deserves all of it's criticism. It is much worst than this game in every possible way imaginable. Another issue I had is two particular dlcs are what should've been in the game but surprisingly wasn't. Usually when you take down a rival gang, you'll get their vehicles. For some odd reason, they chose to change it to owning those dlcs instead.

On one hand, you would get those much sooner than you would've gotten them. But on the other, you just felt a bit cheated too. I do enjoy looking at the artwork of this game. The only Saints Row game bigger in size than Saints Row: The Third Remastered. I am hoping they decide to do dlc mission packs.

Which they been doing since Saints Row 2. Gat Out of Hell was directly following the events of IV doesn't count. Ever since How the Saints Saved Christmas, the standards went up notably. By the way SR2's dlc missions aren't present in the PC port. Although you can still play them through modding the game.

Going back to the leveling system, each level gained gives you a new perk. Doing the challenges also gives you perks too. There's two perk set ups that affects several things. There's no longer having to buy in your upgrades. But you still gotta buy some slots in one of those which are notably more expansive. I can't even say this would be better than the original Saints Row.

Another notable issue I had is Collectible Finders doesn't do much to help you find the collectibles. Instead, you will be given a hint with shadowy figures of what that collectible is. Honestly, why couldn't you guys kept it like The Third & IV's? Which was much easier in comparison to use. Regardless, I do truly enjoy this game a lot with an passion.

Quick Saints Row blog entry

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, today I want to do a few quick discussions. But first I got to confirm as of a few hours ago. I gotten an 100% completion in Saints Row IV for the fourth time no lie. To me, it always was my favorite SR game in the original game series. My amazing wife recently bought me the new Saints Row game.

Don't worry I'm taking my time playing it. There will be a review I'm not sure when to expect it happening though. Also I been making a few memes about how SR is better than GTA. I will link one of my newer memes on that theme. I been thinking of this particular one for about a week now. Honestly, Xbox players would agree with this.

Nearly everything dlc related is still available too. Plus you also automatically have them on newer Xbox Series X/S consoles as well. Which makes this way more worth your time and money than buy GTA Trilogy Remastered. Seriously Rockstar, I used to respect you guys. But how can you possibly allow a game compilation that makes Silent Hill HD Collection on Xbox 360 look like a master piece?

I been hearing a lot of negative stuff on the new SR game. For fairness I'm going in neutral. After I beaten the game, I will then judge it. Do I like it or dislike the game? I felt starting over especially the madness that was SRIV a good idea. I will confess I wasn't a fan of the trailers like a lot of people. I am actually willing to give the game a fair chance unlike many people out there.

In all honestly, I still respect the community as well as Volition for their hard work. Saints Row series always meant so much to me for years. Even the PC port of Saints Row 2 seem to be somewhat better recently. So I felt this franchise isn't going to die yet. I do think so many people were jumping on it purely because of being bias in favor of GTA series.

To me, GTA started to die after GTA: San Andreas. I'm also thankful to that particular GTA game because it was direct inspiration for the original Saints Row game. It might not be perfect but a good game indeed. SR2 made the very improvements that needed, which is why it's among the best SR games ever made. I always considered The Third being the best SR game despite things.
