My thoughts on Saints Row reboot update

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, due to technical difficulties I can't make a video on today's topic. Earlier today, the team responsible for the new Saints Row game. You know the one getting bashed by people. Well they confirmed the roadmap plan they have from April up to August. In a way me doing things this way would give people a much better idea than if I would've done this in a video.

Link to see the full roadmap of the stuff getting added into the game down below...

I will start on April which isn't much to begin with. They are doing an crossover free cosmetic pack based on Dead Island 2. For those that doesn't know, publisher company Deep Silver also done Dead Island series. For Saints Row series, it was from 2013 to present. Considering both franchises has zombies, it kinda makes sense to do this crossover.

Personally, if Capcom didn't buried Dead Rising series. Another comical sandbox game series, I felt crossing that over with Saints Row would've been way better. I can only judge Dead Island: Retro Revenge. My wife is actually into Dead Island series. She's more of a causal gamer between us. It doesn't mean she doesn't have her favorites either.

We are moving onto May with some interesting stuff to talk about. The free stuff will be a new district. They are adding more of the actual map you can explore. Yes this could make some technical issues worst as well. They also going to overhaul the combat. I just hope it's being done better than Dead Rising 4. The team made a similar statement that turned out to be not be true.

There's also Photo Mode, already a feature done in a few Dead Rising games. Come on, why don't you two just crossover already!!! Of course, they had to put more at the end of that. I guess we will see what else we're possibly getting. The major dlc you have to buy is The Heist and The Hazardous. I still need to buy Expansion Pass despite the official description made that to sound like a cheap discount on them.

In other words, it's not an actual Season Pass purchase. Where everything included will come straight to you on launch day. It doesn't have to be all the same day with several possible release dates for particular stuff. Hell fighting games do that all the time, it's really getting quite frustrating to keep up. The description for this sounds interesting.

They are adding more Story Missions, yes please. It may actually be better than the campaign we previously were given. Events I'm wondering if that might include more Ventures or Side Ventures to do. We do need more of a variety there guys. Cosmetics well we all expected more of that was coming. It has a chance to being a little better than where it currently stands at customization.

We go straight to July since they didn't list anything for June whatsoever. Free side mentions New Features, keep in mind it doesn't give you much to go on. So we don't know if we are talking about being able to see your stats or email people through your cell phone. We might even get a feature exclusively for online coop to better track the whereabouts of other players.

Improvements once again little to no information to go on. I would think they might be revamping some aspects of the game play. In particular it could likely be quick dial for homies or different ways to use weapons. For example, you could fire an shotgun similar to an terminator would be very sick. If you have Expansion Pass, there's a new solo mode.

If I had to take a guess what this mode could be. Considering a lot of stuff you do involved killing a lot of enemies. This one mode could be an greater amount of enemies to come after you in ways. Kinda like Gears series' Horde Mode respectively. Then again we virtually know so little what to expect here. What I do know is it already looks like my kind of fun.

Finally we get to the month of August. Which so happens to be my wife's birthday month as well as our wedding anniversary. Free stuff we have another new distinct getting added into the game. Jeez how big are they going to make this map? I know GTA Online's map is notably better than GTA V's map. Supposedly the biggest game map belongs to Minecraft, one of my wife's favorite games.

I'm more of a Garry's Mod kind of guy myself. New Features with Improvements, same boat as last time. They could give us a new method to be given your vehicles. For example, an aircraft drops vehicles inside a giant crate that breaks after it hits the ground. They also could have with some aspects of the driving to be improve somewhat.

They also could give us actual smaller businesses to own. A major issue a lot of players didn't like. The new system of your crime organization replaced that feature. I think by having both of them not only increases more money to earn at one time. It also could allow the player to buy stuff they need much cheaper as well.

We might even be given more designs we can customize anything with. Which I greatly would love to see happen. Can you imagine driving an truck that looks like the sun or flying an aircraft that's constantly changing colors? Hell give me more skeleton or clown theme stuff I'll be fine. Yes I'm twisted that way sue me lol.

Expansion Pass adds in more Story Missions. Again there's a couple of options they could do with that. I didn't say this earlier because I felt it would work a little bit better here instead. You aren't done with Marshall, an family affair rises. All of a sudden, they are after the Saints for killing or fired Atticus Marshall.

After long, the developers doesn't make us have to fully replay the entire campaign I'm fine. Obviously, Myra with some of her friends is going to need the Saints again. There's a lot of crazy possibilities they could do with this. Regardless, as long the game play is fun to play. Story matters somewhat but screwing both of them up is a tough pill to swallow.

They are adding in enemies, I highly wish this could've came a little sooner than it actually is. Maybe that's just me on that folks. We don't know much to know if these enemies are even together or enemies towards each other or a mix of both. This is likely going to add in a few boss fights. Cosmetics once again, yes please add more stuff into the game.

Honestly, I want slightly more cosmetic stuff over a handful of these other things. The bigger stuff like new districts and story missions, I'm very excited about. It's rare they add more to the actual map in this series. DLC story missions is very common though. I don't think they are going to top How the Saints Saved Christmas though.

I do have some ideas where these new districts could be on the map. Considering they are being able within those respective locations. I think one district going to be added from the top while the other being added to the bottom. Hell like some Fallout games like Point Lookout. They might make you access it differently that leads to it's own map.

Which would be greatly appraised if that ended up being the case. I am thinking they might bring in parts of the state California. Kinda like GTA Online brought in more of the state Nevada. The map it already a huge size. Yes technically they did part of this through some story missions in Saints Row IV. Therefore, they likely know how they are going about expanding the map or general scale of things.

Saints Row reboot might move up a rank or two if they do all of these on their roadmap. Honestly, they do need to fix the perks that barely affect the game play. So I do think that's going to be revamp to make better usage out of our perks. Obviously more collectibles are going to be added into the game. The game already has a huge amount of them to begin with.

Achievements/trophies wise, this could become one of the hardest Saints Row games to get all of them in. If people are feeling it like in some YouTube videos. They are likely going to beg for mercy with these too. Saints Row reboot is already in an questionable spot. I am hoping Volition doesn't get close down along with their servers.

I actually wanna fully see everything they're going to bring into the game. There's already a couple DLCs I previously bought. As a huge Saints Row fan, ultimately I want what's best for the game in question. I felt if they don't rush things they could nearly come close of turning half way through an 360.

There's no question, they are going to test more than your skills. They also going to test your willpower to see if you can fully go the distance they expect some going to go. I do plan on playing out my heart to getting every DLC achievement that's going to be added in. There's no surprise, I'm willingly coming back to finish what I started with this game.

Another notable thing I should mention is please don't over whelm me like some Assassin's Creed games do. If you played stuff like Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag then you already know. Exactly what I am talking about!!! I don't need the world to be more big than what's actually fun neither do I need my methods of traveling suddenly becomes slower.

I strongly hope with increased resources. The team is going to give us some truly amazing stuff to play with. I actually would've say this could be one of my favorites yet. Considering my favorite video game is Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, it's difficult to say. What I will confirm is for the bigger stuff, you will need to commit to hours among hours to get them fully done or you aren't going to last long.

Why Capcom should skip RE5 to remake RE6 instead?

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, we're a few days away from the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake. I felt if Capcom wants to give us something some fans may want. I'll quickly throw two ideas right out the gate. The fans doesn't want Resident Evil 5 to get remade. More of them rather have Resident Evil 6 get that treatment instead.

To clarify, Resident Evil 6 isn't a good Resident Evil game. More recently, the game became more of an alright RE game. Let's be honest, RE6 has major problems. Despite things ends up selling surprisingly well. I won't be surprise the demand isn't far behind remaking Dino Crisis or Resident Evil Code: Veronica X respectively.

First off, everyone strongly agrees the actual story. Which got broken up into four campaigns was simply way too going on. A large amount of that craziness getting removed would greatly improve the remake's chances of being better than the original game. Another problem is they were a little too focus on multiplayer over the single player portions.

Not including The Mercenaries/The Mercenaries: No Mercy. RE6 has too many multiplayer modes. Agent Hunt mode strongly not needed please get rid of it. There were a few concepts just wasn't well executed. Like Predator, an team takes on Ustanak or Onslaught. Onslaught with a few changes would've been the mode to play.

Another major problem is there's too little horror elements. There's also way too much action even excluding the cutscenes. Resident Evil was always meant to be an horror franchise. RE6 was so much of an action game, you almost barely recognize it as an RE game. The boss fights weren't particular done well either.

It also doesn't help they allow some characters to do things in another duo's story. Which meant a handful of boss fights got shared. Some boss fights kept dragging on, which didn't help things further. Honestly, RE6 would need a large portion removed. RE3 Remake suffered from the exact opposite problem. They took too much away when they didn't even need to.

RE6 almost felt like RE tried to be Devil May Cry, another Capcom franchise. Hell I could compare Jake Muller to Dante, it would make perfect sense. Last I checked, RE6 never was intended to being an Devil May Cry game. At one point, RE4 got scrapped. What they had actually became the original Devil May Cry game.

RE6 is still somewhat better than DMC2 though. Another major change is either greatly improve the skills system or remove it altogether. Both would notably affect the game play in some way. Originally getting skill points took a lot longer from the previous two RE games. Removing it could allow us to upgrade weapons similar to Village.

They could use this to keep things balanced. Another major change is removing two particular guns system. They don't need to improve the inventory. They should make it a little easier to switch between sections of your inventory. Seriously, limiting the player down to two weapons by default isn't a good idea.

I strongly felt removing it would notably help RE6 Remake's chances. Not only that, they could recreate several important moments while making them more horror direction. Of course, they have to choose what to keep within the game. The original four campaigns were notably a little too long. Thus, doing all four of them mostly felt players wasted their time rather than having fun.

Hell they easily could select particular sections from the original game timeline wise. Which also removes confusion on when everything happens. Yes there's a mode in RE6 you can rewatch the cutscenes. However they set it up like an timeline making things rather confusing for the players. Obviously simplifying this down would improve their chances at making a decent remake.

They also need to not rush RE6 Remake out. There's some signs in the original game's campaigns that aren't fixed. Which also became a missed opportunity for RE3 Remake. Honestly, RE6 Remake could be one of the finest RE games with the right team making it. I also think they should consider changing out the weapons for better ones.

I'm not trying to be rude but some of the stronger guns isn't that great. Which brings me up to another interesting point. They also have enemies that mutates into several other creatures. For example, they could gain legs like an grasshopper or become more of a spider like creature. I felt removed limited it down or remove it entirely.

I felt both options would've greatly help RE6 Remake's chances. The fans doesn't wanna play a guessing game what enemies could become during the game play. At the same time, they also don't wanna have to deal with it either. There's more of a line that's okay with the bosses. They should revamp that concept for a handful of bosses that has a few forms.

If they can't do that then just simply remove those forms out of the remake please Capcom!!! RE6 is a game that really needed to be filtered out. However this still has a high chance of failing. Not because the original game's reputation. No because Capcom might consider adding more content on top of those problems rather than doing many suggested solutions like in my own blog entry.

Capcom been busy selling out Resident Evil. Especially when they really don't need to I mean at all!!! Another notable issue being removing DMC style save system. I know some people won't like this because it does directly make some achievements/trophies harder. Yes it does but it also allows people to cheat the harder difficulties much easier.

Which is something Capcom doesn't want in their recent RE games. The Mercenaries should return, it's up to them. Even if it doesn't return in the remake version. I would love to see something more directly connecting Albert Wesker to Jake somewhere in the game. All we basically know about this is his dad had an one night stand then left.

RE6 virtually is a game they have many possible ways to improve a remake. Another notable problem is it had too many difficulty levels. The highest difficulty being No Hope doesn't even get it's own achievement/trophy in most versions. A mode that's more unforgiving than Professional difficulty. I felt RE6 had no real business pushing the players this damn hard.

I felt just three difficulties feels about right. It is likely going to be more than difficulties. Don't give us way too many difficulties. Otherwise, you are turning a lot of people off on RE6 Remake in record time. Even Professional difficulty is slightly more unforgiving than the same difficulty in RE5. So even right there, the game needed to be balanced out more properly difficulty wise.

I'm sure I'm not the only Resident Evil fan thinking RE5 doesn't need an remake. RE6 would be a much better choice to be remade. It had plenty of major issues that turned a lot of people off. Hell, Capcom you have an opportunity to make RE6 in some form a fan favorite. If we can't get Code: Veronica X or Dino Crisis remakes, this would be the next best thing.

What are my Favorite Game Compilations?

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, you could consider this an follow up to My Favorite Game is.... The same basic concept except I'm directly pointing out my favorite game compilations. It's no secret, they became a nice alternative to over priced, newer video games. You are getting your money's worth with most not even having dlcs for the most part is a rather nice touch.

It's very difficult to just pick one from a few game companies while others mostly has that one going for them. Obviously, you get to see more directly what exactly my taste in video games is. Honestly, I been wanting to write this for awhile now. There's so much ground I could cover with this topic alone. I figured some of you might be curious hearing what some of my absolute favorite game compilations are.

Today I'll only cover three game companies that's notably present in my life. But all three their names are famous around the world. Despite major mistakes over time of course. Of course, if you have your own favorite game compilations even they're not from these companies. Please feel free to comment & tell me about them pleasantly.

Sega

I played a couple Sega compilations over the years. I kept coming back to two particular Sega compilations that stand the test of time. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection & Sonic Mega Collection respectively. I will praise Sega Genesis Classics for several reasons. But presentation with unlockables wise, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection was more of a pleasant surprise to us Sega fans.

Also Sonic Mega Collection Plus didn't properly recreate the audio as well. Yes it has two games depending on regions you might have in the original version as well as half the Game Gear Sonic games. They even changed the extra content to a degree. I think most of us agrees the original GameCube version was the best version.

Honestly, trying to decide which one is better rather tricky. Obviously, both nails the Sonic games. Most versions of Sega Genesis Classics lacks Sonic 3 & Knuckles, a major reason it doesn't end up here. Yes they were represented in halves within Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. At least, Sonic 3 was mostly presented in that compilation for every versions.

Both have unlockables but Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection has more interesting hidden games you can play. Most of them are Arcade classics with two hidden games directly pulled from Sega Master System. One of a very few game compilations you can play the entire original Phantasy Star series. Also video interviews were done well for it's time.

I also prefer the game selection screen because parts of it represented the actual game console. I do love both games opening including theme songs. I just slightly preferred Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. Yes all the lock-on games are in Sonic Mega Collection. Which means you can play Sonic 3 a few ways. You can do save states that help improve your chances beating games.

Yes Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is widely known for being one of the easiest games to get every achievement in. Sonic Mega Collection is an Sonic compilation with it's own surprises in it's Museum Mode. Obviously, if you're a huge Sonic fan you may be leading towards that more. You also get Flicky & Ristar with interesting connections to the franchise.

Which you get by default in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. You have to do a more annoying method to unlock both those games in Sonic Mega Collection. There's no question, both nails the controls perfectly. It's just difficult to compare an Sonic compilation to an Sega Genesis compilation. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection represents the system those games originate on way better.

Best Sega compilation is Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection

Capcom

I played a lot of Capcom compilations as well. I quickly kept coming back to two particular game compilations. Devil May Cry HD Collection & Capcom Fighting Collection respectively. I felt some people might quickly jump on me since I previously preordered Capcom Fighting Collection. Trust me when I say this is a close one folks.

They offer a lot of the same things. Such as displaying artwork, listening to all games' soundtracks and showing off credits. Obviously, both of them are fighting theme in some way. Capcom Fighting Games is filled with fighting games while Devil May Cry series is more of this unique hack & slash style. Personally removing DMC2 would've made that compilation way better.

Hell it worked for Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection. DMC1 should've been given a bigger screen resolution. Keep in mind, the one change in the more recent version of the compilation. Believe it or not turned out to be the option to go back to the game selection screen. Yeah, originally you couldn't do that.

Which partly makes the newer version the best version for something so small. This isn't even an issue for Capcom Fighting Collection. Also they made plenty of great changes making that an truly unique experience. It has options that quickly wins the entire argument. Even achievement/trophy hunting is better in Capcom Fighting Collection.

Not because there's fewer achievements/trophies either. No it's because you will be more challenged in comparison. You have to commit to getting them all from the start. Thankfully you got plenty of stuff to help improve your chances. Also this compilation marked a few firsts as well. Like this is the first port of the Arcade game, Red Earth.

This also was the first time both updated versions of Vampire Savior got released outside Japan. Sure there isn't many notable changes but as a Darkstalkers fan still nice to have. I'm glad they went with Hyper Street Fighter II. This version allows you to play as every version of every character among Arcade versions.

You can tell this compilation was truly fan service. Still a little weird Capcom quickly does another game compilation, Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium that has half this compilation's game line up. Roughly a month later but Capcom Fighting Collection is the way to go playing those same games. As much I enjoy Devil May Cry HD Collection, it just falls shorts to Capcom Fighting Collection.

Best Capcom compilation is Capcom Fighting Collection

Konami

I got another close one for everyone. There's no surprise two particular game compilations I'm a huge fan of. Konami had more notable involvement with one of these but didn't ruin things. By now, you should already know which two game compilations I'm going to be comparing today. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection & Castlevania Advance Collection.

A lot of the same stuff going for these two as Capcom. I would even argue this is the toughest one by far. Both greatly represented fan service beautifully in their own way. Castlevania Advance Collection is mostly representing an era of Castlevania series on Game Boy Advance. TMNT is representing the entire original Konami TMNT collection.

Two particular eras I felt was nailed perfectly in their respective game compilations. Obviously Castlevania: Dracula X got the short end of the stick. Originally within the in-game strategy guide for TMNT, that were true with TMNT: Tournament Fighters (Genesis). Late last year, they made some changes that fixed the problem.

There's more notable game play styles in TMNT. They also displayed five platforms to compared to two of them. It's mind blowing the additional stuff TMNT has. I will still give credit for Castlevania Advance Collection creating this awesome animation with the four main characters. Now how awesome is that right?

We get to see Richter, Juste, Nathan and Soma working together. You can tell the team had a lot of fun making this. It's the same team that previously done a few game compilations like Castlevania Anniversary Collection. Yes it's the same one also respectable for Contra Anniversary Collection. Both companies are masters at making game compilations in their own way.

One annoying thing is because of the method they used to get a lot of that extra content into the game. You have to wait a little longer before you can see em better. Which isn't a program in Castlevania Advance Collection. There's no secret Castlevania Advance Collection has more enjoyable achievement/trophy hunting.

Every single achievement/trophy within TMNT is simply beat the games. There's much more you do within Castlevania Advance Collection. Also I felt characters mostly in Advance trilogy are better animated with more cool stuff you could do. Yes those are lengthy games but they're packed with content as well.

All three of them have additional modes you can play as well. Which further helps to keep things refreshing. It doesn't mean TMNT is down for the count. They have additional features to make these games more replayable as well. There's more notable emulator options in Castlevania Advance Collection.

Honestly, I'm really pulling hairs to decide which one is the best Konami compilation I played. Castlevania Advance Collection has some sick animations while TMNT has a better game selection screen. Castlevania has cooler graphics while TMNT does have more awesome soundtracks. Although, Castlevania has more interesting enemy variety as well as the bosses.

TMNT does offer online play for five TMNT games. Castlevania does bounce back with more forgiving game play. I think most of us can agree both of these are way better than Castlevania Anniversary Collection. It really does come down to personal taste. If you are a bigger Castlevania fan, you may enjoy Castlevania Advance Collection more

If you are a bigger TMNT fan, you may enjoy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection more. I can promise you both of them really does their respective franchises justice. I am not kidding they're both very decent game compilations. Even the closest things to call issues aren't real issues at all.

If you are more into having a variety in terms of the amount of platforms as well as game play styles. You are more likely going to enjoy TMNT more. But if you are more into impressive handheld games, you are more likely going to enjoy Castlevania more. I'm actually considering giving this one a tie. After much needed thought, Castlevania Advance Collection.

There's a few things I didn't even mention yet that ended up being the difference for me. For example, one surprising option you can't do in TMNT is create your own playlist. Yes you can select songs from all four games within Castlevania Advance Collection to create your own playlist is a very nice touch. Not only that, the maps are much more than in TMNT 3: Radical Rescue as well.

I am not just saying that because all the maps featured in GBA Castlevania trilogy are notably bigger. No, the way they went about the map screen inevitable leaves to confusion later on. In comparison, the more you explore of the maps. The more of it that becomes a different color to help you find your path. Yes the same problem could occur here as well.

If you look closely on GBA Castlevania trilogy. You can actually see which directions you can enter or exit areas from. I felt in Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance it's the trickiest with three different colors excluding the default unexplored color. Sadly none of that is within TMNT 3: Radical Rescue at all. So if you are planning to use the map to get around, you may not know how the map actually presented.

Basically, it lacks marks to letting you know ways into that area. Yes with an feature you can now see where doors, keys and bosses are. Part of that GBA Castlevania trilogy doesn't do is reveal where key items are on the map as well as the bosses. Yet you still get more useful upgrades. Not to mention, all three Castlevania games has an leveling system to help better your chances too.

You actually could find a short area quickly kill enemies then leave the area. Come right back to repeat the process as much as needed to level up your characters. Keep in mind, being under leveled has it's fair share of it's pros and cons. Of course, GBA Castlevania trilogy also has it's secret areas as well. You also have an easier to spot cursor representing your location on the map too.

Another major factor is Castlevania Advance Collection improved on a few issues I had with another compilation. Obviously I'm referring Castlevania Anniversary Collection. Such as having the ability to rewind. Yes TMNT also has that as well. They also made it even easier to access your save states as well.

Nathan has card combinations with some difficult to master. Soma has this awesome souls system that greatly affects the game play. Juste uses spell books that helps improves his chances. Yes all of them have stuff that could be considered as being op, I won't argue that. There's also plenty of locations to save your process in-game within all three GBA Castlevania games as well.

Thus, there's another way to save your process is kinda a game changer here. You also can easily change the region of which version while on game selection screen too. Yes in a few TMNT games like TMNT: Tournament Fighters (SNES), there's some notable changes. I just felt in a few ways Castlevania Advance Collection to me ended up being the best Konami compilation.

Best Konami compilation is Castlevania Advance Collection

By the way, yes I played Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. I still felt both of these amazing game compilations was better. To be fair, you also can't go wrong with that one either. Keep in mind, Hideo Kojima was still working with Konami at the time of it's release. Honestly, I highly recommend that one as well especially you love Metal Gear franchise.

Top 5 Reasons Why MediEvil Remake is better than Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Remastered

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, it's no secret I'm angry at Rockstar for ruining GTA Trilogy Remastered so badly. I felt the perfect way for me to add salt is by praising a particular video game remake not liked by many. Of course, I'm talking about MediEvil Remake on PS4. I even have five reasons why it's better than GTA Trilogy Remastered.

Yes I also have a meme related to this particular topic down below...
https://imgflip.com/i/7c1x7w

5. Better artwork

This is a very obvious reason. You look at GTA Trilogy Remastered than the original three games in question. What you will see is a major missed opportunity. Especially with the Definitive Edition is in the title, you expect better right? Now look at MediEvil Remake to it's original version. They greatly improved on the original artwork as well as adding in more beautifully well.

If you are patience enough, you can see areas where character models in GTA Trilogy Remastered aren't done properly. This is suppose to be remastered versions right? You won't even feel that away among looking at every character within MediEvil Remake. Yes, the Scarecrows are still among the scariest. I can even say a lot of them looks notably better than they originally did.

I'm not saying any of them look bad in the original PS1 game. I meant, they recreated all of them faithful. Yet made the right changes to their appearances that better fit the Remake version. You can tell the artists really took their time with everything especially the crazy animations. There's no question, Rockstar really dropped the ball hard here.

4. More fan service

It's quite obvious, Rockstar no longer cares for their fans. They are barely fixing the games properly through this smaller game company. In comparison, you get a lot of cool stuff both in & outside the game. I'm also including the secret Helmet from the demo. Most of it you have to pay for but it's worth checking out.

You get this awesome animation for your PS4's home. You also get a digital comic book, the soundtrack and an artbook. Yes all of that, I was happy getting them when I bought the game for my birthday a few years ago. Honestly, this sticks out like a sore thumb. It seems PS1 games, we'll nail the newer versions. But PS2 games, let's ruin them for modern gamers.

Look I know this isn't a fair comparison. MediEvil Remake is a more recent version of an PS1 game. In vice versa, GTA Trilogy Remastered is a recreation of three PS2 games not done well. Hell I easily could've done both Crash & Spyro Trilogies Remastered. But I didn't because everyone knows those are way better than GTA Trilogy Remastered.

3. Programmed notably better

MediEvil Remake doesn't suffer for many issues GTA Trilogy Remastered does. Yes I know I'm comparing different game play styles against each other. It's not the point I'm here to make. No what I really wanna drive home is somehow the newer versions of GTA games are much worst. In vice versa, MediEvil Remake is very faithful to the original game.

They even improved on a few issues the original version had. Not only that, save feature is automatically by default. Of course, you have the option to turn it off. Clearly MediEvil Remake was not rushed out the door is my point. Keep in mind, MediEvil's popularity isn't as high as it once was back in the late 90s.

Despite this, it ended up working more in their favor because of it. They even brought back the original actors to reprise their roles for the game. Even the controls got notably improved in as well. Camera angles in a few spots can still be a pain but it isn't as bad as it was. Yes you may have trouble not having the good stuff to get through some stages but the game's very replayable to make up for that.

You know it's not programmed well when you fall through areas you aren't suppose to. Keep in mind, GTA: San Andreas had the biggest overall map out of the three. Somehow Rockstar dropped the ball with that too. Each stage in MediEvil Remake is beautifully recreated faithfully. This includes the new side quest added to this version of the game too.

2. Improved the audio notably

This is a very obvious one, GTA Trilogy Remastered did remove some song due to copy rights. But they don't sound better than the original versions. In vice versa, MediEvil Remake sounds notably better than the original PS1 game. Voice acting also been improved as well. Yes some got changed but still faithful to what you originally heard.

Don't forget with the previously mentioned soundtrack you can listen to outside the game. Yes I know GTA games has a lot of songs especially on the radio. My point is they didn't lose any important pieces to prevent taking away from the overall experience. Honestly, it's surprisingly faithful to the original PS1 game.

1. It also included the original version

The biggest reason why MediEvil Remake is better than GTA Trilogy Remastered. You actually can unlock the original PS1 version. You have to fully complete a new side quest added to the remake version. Among completing it unlocks the classic PS1 game. To me, that's pretty awesome to have both of them together.

It's a real shame GTA Trilogy Remastered couldn't do something remotely like that. I'm sure a lot more people would've bought those remasters if they had the original versions included too. Personally I'm already seeing it as another major missed opportunity Rockstar. You got beaten by MediEvil Remake this badly is quite pathetic.

They don't prevent you from using cheat codes in that version either. Sure it isn't a part of the trophy hunting process, I actually gotten the platinum trophy for it. One of two games with the other being Saints Row IV no surprise I know lol. Just simply having the original version alone is enough for me to say MediEvil Remake better than GTA Trilogy Remastered.

Sadly I'm not done yet folks. Rockstar thought it was a good idea to remove those particular GTA games from every gaming services. Thus if you didn't have them, you have no choice but to buy the newer versions. A move Sega ended up doing with Sonic Origins with parts of that reversed. The simple fact Rockstar ended up doing the exact opposite is quite upsetting to me.

My Favorite Video Game is....

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, Eventually I had to make a video game post about my overall favorite video game. There's plenty of great ones out there. For a long time, I took a lot of time thinking what actually my most favorite video game I ever played. The answer I reach may surprise some people.

My Favorite Video Game without an ending is Garry's Mod

There was a lot of critical stuff I look for in a great game. I will list them down below but for the present. Out of everything I played, I kept coming back to Garry's Mod more than any of them. At it's core, the game allows you to do whatever you want. I never had any game even come close to all the crazy fantasies I got to live out.

1. Great controls
2. Game play variety
3. Creativity
4. Additional stuff sometimes matters
5. Good sound effects
6. Virtually little to no limits as possible (I dislike realism in video games)

Garry's Mod is a creative sandbox game. There's no single player campaign to complete. There's plenty of multiplayer options thanks to the players themselves. Additional stuff wise, there's virtually no paid dlc content. In place of it is free user content with so many based on franchises. Let's just say you don't have to take my word for it but seeing the madness with your eyes will speak much greater volume.

This game is still being updated recently. A couple years ago, it got it's own variation of the Source engine. You have plenty of mods from other people to play for hours. Hell you could name it, chances are someone already made it a reality in this game. Garry's Mod still stands as the most ridiculous video game I ever played in my entire life.

All of this for ten bucks or less during sells, it's the best ten bucks I ever spent gaming wise. You can spawn so many ally or enemy characters, the game starts running sluggish. If you can kill em all, your game could crash. It happened to me several times in the past. You also can hold with no clear limit as many weapons as you want.

You can play as anyone you want as well. There's a lot of vehicles as well as levels you can play. Garry's Mod allows you to go as crazy as you want. Obviously, it's a great game to get rid of stress or angry. Some people even found ways to do other unique stuff you wouldn't even think is possible. Like someone made a mod that does require particular maps but you can watch YouTube videos.

If you know how to do it, you also can do your own video marathon while in game. There's so much appeal to this game. There's no question, this game is comical but very unique as well as creative. I always speak very highly of this game. Garry's Mod makes stuff like GTA V boring. Yes I even made a meme of that myself.

Garry's Mod has so many surprises from the community alone. This is a very addicting game to play for hours even by yourself. Yes there's songs as well as sound effects pulled from several franchises too. Virtually everything you could possibly think of is here. Honestly, I highly recommend you check this game out.

I'm not done yet now I'm also going to reveal what my Favorite Video Game with an ending is. Scroll up a bit to see the same guidelines. Yes all of them applies here as well. There's so many amazing video games in the world. Even limiting things with the near perfect ones is very difficult. I felt the one I could replay more than any other game.

Sure I could've went with classics from Sega Genesis or a few decades or more recent. I got a long list of games I played. Of course, there's games I absolutely dislike as well as loved. To me, my favorite video game has to be something unique. There isn't many games like it. Which by itself eliminates several favorites of mine.

I don't wanna pick my favorites from most game companies because that's virtually cheating the question. You really wanna know which video game with an ending is my absolute favorite right? I took a lot of time to careful think this through. It's a bonus the game feels like me in a nut shell, which seems to be quite rare.

Obviously, I'm going into a more comical, wtf direction. I want a game that I can't ever get truly bored of. A game I really wanna do my best at. I'm not known for getting an 100% completion in video games despite knowing out a lot of games achievements/trophies wise. Yes I did get an 100% completion in every Saints Row game on Xbox One but not every achievement though.

1. AVGN 1 & 2 Deluxe
2. Postal 2
3. Conker's Bad Fur Day

My Favorite Video Game with an ending is Saints Row IV

Honestly, the one game I actually could say I played the best so happens to be Saints Row IV. You get a good variety of game play styles. Humor wise it's really over the top. Some moments are done just perfectly with the right songs playing. You can also get those songs in your Mix Tape on the radio.

What's even better is you also have the option to listen to your favorite songs outside vehicles. Seriously a good number of similar games can't even do that!!! The weapons are wow just wow. We got some truly strangely interesting arsenal you would have to see to believe. Yes a few things Saints Row: The Third did do better but SRIV doesn't have that famous glitch.

You know the one that prevents you getting achievements/trophies. I already gotten all of them on two versions of the game. Thanks to removing the coop achievements out the game. Of course with the right people I would love to play this coop hands down. The entire game is really fun even for an 100% completion from the very beginning.

Saints Row IV is a game that is mixed within it's fan base. Personally I can't get enough of it!!! This game is filled with surprises. I did like most of it's dlcs with How the Saints Saved Christmas being my favorite. The story is so out there you would think there's no way this could possibly work. The funny thing is it really does work amazingly well in it's favor.

Yes my least favorite thing about the game actually it's standalone expansion game. Even I confess their worst SR game to me is still a lot of fun to play. Saints Row IV is a game that does challenge you in a few ways you might not expect. Yes, it technically the easiest of it's original series I won't argue that.

Some people complaint about having the super powers & the ability to drive vehicles. Some felt it simply took away from the experience. Some felt just give us the driving we're fine. Personally, I was happier having both because not a lot of similar games does that. Also exploring the map is much easier in comparison especially with the insane amount of the collectibles.

Here's a game that not only meant the world to me. It also ended up being so refreshing with what it brought to the table. I don't even think anyone could top it's insanity even if they tried. In all honestly, this game is the very definition of making a truly fun game. It also makes sense I chosen this considering I can't say some of those with my other personal favorites either.

Saints Row IV is a game you truly can be free in. I also liked you can use your fist with super human strength or guns or your super powers with ease. I know back in 2013, majority was heavily favoring GTA V. Honestly, this game stands out for so many reasons. I really can't not say much more about it without repeating stuff other people previously said about the game itself, it's that damn good!!!

I'm still not done of course I'm so disappointed on stuff I heard as well as seen on GTA Trilogy Remastered. It's truly amazing Rockstar chose such a cheap method to screw over their fans like that. Yes years ago I did play those to a degree who didn't? Thank god both Saints Row and Xbox has you covered, don't play GTA Trilogy Remastered.

Most of it's dlcs are available. Yes all five Xbox 360 Saints Row games are playable on Xbox One. It gets even better because you also already own them on Xbox Series X/S too if you bought em digitally. Yes you are paying more money but they're more likely to do sells on Xbox so it ends that problem out.

Tips on getting an 100% completion in six Saints Row games

Warning, this will be a very lengthy blog entry. Please take as many breaks as humanly or should I say godly possible?

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I got a lengthy but very informative blog entry today. As many of you know I been playing a lot of Saints Row series. Perhaps maybe a little too much lol. Regardless, I finally gotten an 100% completion in all six Saints Row games. Which is a lot of work I'll break down for each entry.

The official date I done this is on March 5th, 2023.

To clarify, this is base game's 100% completions. This is excluding DLC missions. I did get every achievement in Saints Row: The Third Remastered on Xbox One. I also done the same exact process twice with both PS4 & Xbox One versions of Saints Row IV. I also gotten every achievement in Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell (Xbox 360 version), now those are full completionist processes.

Yes I also gotten an 100% completion on Saints Row: The Third (original version) a few times as well. Honestly, the process is virtually identical with no changes at all. Just in case, anyone was wondering about that. Well now you know it doesn't. Keep in mind, you still got plenty to do in most of these after getting an 100% completion.

I also want to make a few things clear. No I didn't use any cheat codes. I didn't even do coop with other people to achieve these 100% completions. All of them for the most part were played on their respective Normal difficulties. All of this took hours to do as well. I really took my time giving all of their respective 100% completions.

Saints Row reboot

What you need to do in order to get an 100% completion
1. Complete every mission in the campaign
2. Complete every loyal mission
3. Complete everything for every Criminal Ventures
4. Complete every Side Hustles
5. Eliminate every target in Wanted

I will be giving tips on how to improve your chances getting all of these 100% completions without using cheat codes or mods. I just hope this helps you out a lot maybe even save you from some intense head aches too. Alright, I'll start with the original Saints Row. Considering it's been around a long time now, not many people know how to go for an 100% completion recently.

Saints Row 1
My first general tip is try avoiding collecting both CDs and Tags until all three rival gangs are defeated. This prevents getting attacked possibly killed while tagging. For some odd reason, I couldn't figure out how to cancel that action. This also allows you to search longer as well as completing tags no matter how much you screw it up.

My next general tip is get a lot of respect build up. Story missions as well as Stronghold ones requires a certain amount of respect in order to do them. You can hold up to 99 respect at max but it will take a while to get it there. Also collecting CDs & spraying Tags increases your respect as well. Some rewards are better than others which is very true here.

Most Activities have eight levels you must complete. Which I felt was a little too much even with the more fun ones. Unlike most the games, you have to drive out to every single one of them. Then select their respective icons to know if you complete them or not. Yes you also can check your Activity process through Statistics while the game is paused.

In other words, the map screen doesn't tell you. Which Activities you completed, obviously being tedious at times. Some of the rewards gives you better variations of a few weapons. This was before weapon upgrades was a thing in Saints Row: The Third folks. Sadly, taking bullets wise it's the worst among them all.

I also need to point out you can cancel missions or Activities by pressing down twice then confirming it. Unlike the other Saints Row games, doing this simply cancels it. There is no retry screen for doing this method. So try keeping that in mind while you go for an 100% completion. Otherwise, good luck in your journey with some difficult missions.

Saints Row 2
Right off the bat, I have to sound like a broken record here. As reference to my first tip in Saints Row 1. Try to avoid collecting both CDs and Tags until all three rival gangs are defeated. I do have additional information to add as well. They added in also spraying over Ultor's symbols. Even after they're defeated at some locations, your notoriety meter will start increasing.

This is also true on two smaller islands with the police. So unlike the original Saints Row, some tag locations still have the possibility of getting attacked even killed. I also need to point out, a handful of these collectibles are in high locations. Thankfully you can work your way up from the ground. Very few of them requires using an aircraft to reach them.

Like the original, collecting the collectibles also increases your respect in order to do story missions as well as Stronghold ones. The rewards are notably better than in Saints Row 1. Which includes better durability towards several things as well as infinite ammo. Of course, there's a few difficult missions like the one you take on waves of enemies mostly the Brotherhood on a huge ship.

They shortened down the level amount for Activities to six, which I strongly felt that's just right. Another thing not a lot of people knows is Racing actually isn't a part of an 100% completion. You also got the option to do coop with someone. Personally I done all of this by myself. Some previous Activities are notably easier than they were in the original too.

Don't get me wrong you still can lose at them. Even with the best gear so don't get cocky. Especially in later levels on some Activities. Let's just say this game doesn't mess around in it's own way. I will throw out a risky suggestion for Mayhem, you can use an attack helicopter. On one hand in the right locations your damage scoring is ridiculously fast.

In vice versa, you may go even faster on notoriety. Which will include fast spawning attacking helicopters. You could easily be taken out by them if you aren't careful. Despite this, Saints Row 2 is notably more forgiving in comparison. I would even say most of these rewards you actually wanna go for it too.

Saints Row: The Third (both versions)
My first general tip is after you can start choosing what to do following a few missions. Start working on the Activities right ahead. You will need a lot of money as well as experience to level up your character. Obviously, some ridiculous upgrades at level 50. Like most stuff that regularly harms possibly kills you.

Well you're immune to all of it yeah no lie. Yes infinite ammo returns as well to help bettering your chances. Stronghold missions are automatically attached to the campaign. There's no longer choosing when to do them like in the previous two entries. Don't worry you will likely be more than ready to take those missions on.

One particular mission, Three Way gets played twice because there's two endings. The developers were kind enough to allow you go for both of them without having to start the game over to do so. Up to this point, the amount of collectibles was reasonable. Here, you can actually say they might've went a little over board with them this time lol.

No literately, there's so many of them around the map it's ridiculous. You are collecting drug packages, sex dolls, Photo Op, and buying cribs. Speaking of buying cribs, some of them are quite expansive too. Thankfully you can unlock the collectible finder. Which automatically activates, you can alter which icons or remove all of them off your map.

Regardless, finding them all will take time. This alone greatly speeds up the process. Just think if this weren't an option like in the previous two games. I originally would've said you will take notably longer trying to find them all. But the good news is none of them acts like Tagging. The closest one being getting your pictures taken by fans in Photo Op despite being just one button you press.

Some actions including those not by you can prevent you for accessing those. Buying cribs wise, I would own just enough stores and territories to earn enough money to buy them. Thankfully they changed a few things with getting money directly from those. Now your money gets wired to you in a much faster rate to increase your chances buying the more expansive properties quicker.

Saints Row IV (every version)
Not to give you an heart attack or/& stroke. This one has the most stuff you do for an 100% completion. As someone who previously done it five times now. I can tell you, it's a lot of work that ends up being mostly fun too. The short version to going for an 100% completion in SRIV is virtually do almost everything.

Not only you have to complete the missions. You also got loyal missions from members of your own team to complete as well. You still have to complete every level of every Activity. However in order to get the full percentage they add to an 100% completion, you'll need to complete all of them on Gold. I felt most of them are easy while a handful can be quite challenging.

Unlike Saints Row: The Third, you have to complete every single challenge this time around. Which can be quite time consuming. It's a long list of all the stuff you have to do. Mostly killing challenges for majority of the process. Some works faster than others but you need to be patient with some of them. Although I'm not directly talking about DLC completion itself.

The second mission in Enter the Dominatrix is virtually perfect for most these kill challenges. A handful of abilities like Death From Above & Buffs you have to do elsewhere. Thankfully, I already found the next best option. You can replay Super Power Fight Club (Hard), get to round 2. Which has speedy Vice King members that spawns rapidly.

It's mind blowing how effective this ends up being. Going back to the main kill challenges method. You do have access to a gun store. Don't forget you are still being wired money regardless what you're doing. You don't have to fully upgrade the weapons or your super powers for these challenges either. Either method will take some time but notably quicker otherwise.

You also need to hack every store. You can unlock additional time to do them. It's still possible without any of those. If you fail hacking an store will give you notoriety with the aliens. You can hide on a roof nearby to wait it out. You also can fully get the meter up to cause an warden to show up. Defeat em to get rid of your notoriety.

There's also the option of  catching Golden Cids. Sometimes these things gets stuck within locations. You also are later given a number to call to get rid of your notoriety too. Right off the bat, four ways to get around the problem. Another solution is go inside one of your properties, it will quickly go away too.

Thankfully, there's a few ways to get rid of it. There's also virus targets you need to eliminate with a handful of familiar faces. Along with that, you get to steal virus vehicles then claim it at locations. Virtually the easiest variation of that in the entire series. You also need to survive every round of Virus Injection.

Some of them are timed sadly with respawning enemies. Later on being more geared up, both takes you do becomes notably easier to do. There's also deleting every Flashpoint. This is SRIV's counterpart to Saints Row: The Third's Gang Operations in a nut shell. Some of them do end with an encounter facing Wardens.

You also need to claim every tower. Virtually no enemies at all, you just need to reach the top then claim em that's it. Among with that clearing out every Hotspots in the game. There's a lot of enemies but it's very doable even being low level with not many weapon upgrades. Depending how far you are into the campaign, these can become tougher to complete.

Remember what I said about the collectibles in Saints Row: The Third? Well imagine so many collectibles it virtually covers most of the map. Yeah no joke there's so many collectibles, it's mind blowing. I will be listing everything you'll need to collect down below. I can tell you the numbers is way more than all the previous games collectible amounts combined.

You have to collect 1255 Data Clusters. Which you'll need to upgrade your super powers. You also need to destroy 36 Zinyak statutes. I guess in this rare occasion destroying stuff counts as collecting. There's 39 Audio Logs hidden through out the map. Some later ones will only appear on the map after particular story & loyal missions.

You also need to collect 8 Text Adventures. No you don't need to play them through a computer on your ship like the Christmas variation of it within the DLCs to get the last one either. In order, it's not even required to do so. Like the previous entry, you can unlock the collectible finder. You actually can unlock it much faster here too thanks to Matt.

I know there's so much to memorize while going for this insane 100% completion. All I can tell you is overtime this process will continue to get notably easier. Your super powers balances out the very worst the game can dish out at you. Yes some later upgrades within the leveling is pretty ridiculous too. There's no hiding this one could be the very one to break you.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell
This ends up being a similar process to Saints Row IV no surprise there. Yes you need to complete every mission as well as every loyalty missions. There isn't many missions in the game making doing these easier. Like Saints Row IV, you still have to complete every level of every Activity on Gold. To be honest, this ends up being notably easier than SRIV.

There isn't as much variety for them like in the other games. In fact, two of them involves flying makes things a little too easy. You also need to take out every Spires on the map. Which quickly becomes very easy to do overtime. Until you get the right upgrades you may have to try avoiding getting hit. Don't worry about finding them because they will fire homing projectiles at you.

Which means as soon as they fire, you'll know where their exact location. This is virtually replacing Hotspots from IV, kinda boring in comparison. Can you believe, this also has more collectibles than the first three Saints Row games? Well it's very true, they also nearly cover up the entire map. I will break it down to help anyone crazy enough to attempt going for an 100% completion.

There's 940 Soul Clusters you'll need to collect. Some of them you'll need to quickly collect all of them in time to claim em. Both Gat & Kinzie has 30 Commentaries. You can not collect those for the other playable character. There's also 64 Audio Tomes, a counterpart to Audio Logs in SRIV. But these can be replayed!!!

You also need to collect every Glyphs to unlock every Chests. A weird one, you also need to visit every location of Tacos Malos being at three locations. In turn gives you the Gluttony weapon. By now, these challenges gotten quite a repetition among the fan base. Like I previously said about SRIV, you have to do almost everything.

Which also involves other diversions. Three of which involves doing the mini games within particular vehicles. Unlike SRIV, you actually need to fully upgrade every weapon. Sadly, your best method of getting money involves doing rampages while using the Greed weapon. Also I recommend using Stomp (Vacuum) to collect Wages aka money faster.

This also helps in destroying tanks too. I'm not going to sugar coat this, you're in for a real grinding experience. Even doing the faster methods, you are going to put in hours doing these challenges. You also need to claim particular locations too. Like doing Altars gives you alternative variations of your powers.

Very few challenges involves stuff that appears suddenly on your map during game play. Thankfully those are the easy challenges respectively. I also need to point out a lot of weapon kill challenges requires killing them a particular way. You'll need to buy those expansive upgrades in order to attempt doing those challenges.

Like SRIV, this will become easier overtime. Even being reduced down from level 50 to level 20, you're still op by this game's standards. I do have a few kill challenge tips to help you out a bit. One of your particular demon kill challenges is Kill 100 Tragedy Demons. A lot of people struggle where to find them.

If you do Mayhem (Easy), they do appear during that. You may have to replay it a couple of times in order to complete the challenge. Another challenge is Kill 30 Legionnaires. I do have a few tips how to find them. A particular Survival you can do has two of them with one Arch Duke. I actually seen in a speedrun of the game, you can quit out of it.

You can start it over to continue getting more of them killed then repeat the process. Another way is getting high enough notoriety then keep running away until you hear one of their voice overs. It does differ one or two that comes after you. If you have the Lust weapon, you can quickly kill them off too. It also works on Arch Dukes for that challenge as well.

Sometimes, Dex shows up with two of them not often though. Like some weapon challenges in the previous entries. Some weapons works faster than others. One way to know if your weapon is fully upgraded is the color of their respective background changed color. You have almost as many ways to get rid of notoriety.

They replaced Golden Cids with Sin Orbs. They are more hidden among the NPCs. Thankfully if you know what to look for, you'll quickly know which one to kill. Then you have until those reached their destinations to collect em. Similar to Wardens in SRIV, Arch Dukes are their counterpart. Which means defeating one from notoriety resets it.

The same is also true once in a while hitting max, Professor Genki shows up. It's a little trickier but killing Professor Genki does the same effect. You also can wait it out or buy it off through the vending machines. I should point out Soul Clusters are trickier to find. Not because there's fewer of them either. Some of them are actually well hidden below as well as high up within the map itself.

Saints Row reboot
Like the previous games, you have to complete every mission. You also need to complete loyalty missions. This one has the most loyalty missions in the franchise. Procession is a little different because you'll need to do particular conditions to unlock businesses as well as the Saints Tower. Which can act as a huge speed bump.

You also need to complete everything related to your businesses. There's also Side Ventures to complete as well. Basically you aren't the boss in these missions but you still get to do some crazy stuff. I meant in terms of you don't own any of those businesses as well as the very people that gives you those jobs. I know a notably smaller list from the last two Saints Row games.

At the same time, there's more stuff to do. This might come as a bit of a surprise collectibles aren't actually a part of an 100% completion process. Planet Saints can be cheated by driving nearby the building while waiting for rival clothing company vehicles shows up. Doing majority of these enough notably increases the amount of money you're wired.

Which will help in buying more businesses you'll need for this process. This will test you in many ways like how well you glide or use your camera or drive around with several vehicle types. Not only you'll need to learn the controls but also how to use the mechanics too. Like most of the series, you don't need to fully claim the map either.

Just in case you are wondering, yes Wanted also a part of the process. Necromancer is a larper, you don't actually kill her just roleplaying her character's assassination. Thankfully, all of these are set up with instructions to complete them. After a particular mission, you'll get more targets added. If Necromancer doesn't show up, you didn't complete a particular mission for Castle Kraken.

Yes there's a lot to do in this one. You will be putting hours to get all of this done. But I also can say a lot of the rewards are really worth the trouble too. Everything that isn't what I talked about isn't a part of an 100% completion. I also recommend upgrading your weapons to a degree to better your chances. Like the last couple of games, this will become easier overtime.

Considering some Activities are present in multiple Saints Row games. I might as well give shared tips to better your chances getting them fully done for an 100% completion. You may lose a couple of times but you'll get better at it as well. Whatever happens do not give up!!! You all can do this, I believe in every single one of you!!!

Demolition Derby (Saints Row 1 & 2)

My best tip is simply try avoiding taking hits. Which is trickier in later levels to do. You also need to hit em as much as possible with enough distance to do more damage even if your vehicle closer to explode. There's plenty of space to move around in. Don't go right in for an attack at the start, you been warned!!!

Drug Trafficking (Saints Row 1 and 2)
Trafficking (The Third)

Not a lot of people knows you are allowed to switch vehicles. The more difficult levels, the enemies spawns fast. Some are even picking some great weapons. One general tip I have that's a little tricky to pull off is try taking out the drivers. If you can take them out fast enough, you won't have to deal with the rest of them in their vehicles on the way.

I do recommend getting better weapons. It's even easier with infinite ammo, not fully in the first two games though. This is make it more of a challenge not game breaking or rage quit quality though. Another big tip is learn the routes your drivers are taking. Which could change in the first two games at times making it even harder to prepare for.

Escort (Saints Row 1, 2 and The Third)
Tiger Escort (The Third)

Unfortunately you have to keep vehicles given to you for these. The good news is you may get lucky with getting easier to do requests. Some requests will require taking risks to possibly end up failing them. You could waste time to take out the news vans, personally I try to out drive them. Which is notably quicker but sometimes that's tricky to do on harder levels too.

You also need to be prepared when out of no where a couple of them are blocking your paths. For the most part you simply drive through them with little to no trouble. There is no planned routes which gives you the freedom to drive for the most part where you wanna go. Some requests will prevent getting the pleasure meter higher until they are dealt with.

Considering Tiger Escort is another variation of the same Activity. I should talk about that too despite being actually easier to do. Unlike most versions of Escort, the other meter getting filled doesn't cause you to get failed. Instead, this notably increases how often the tiger is going to attack you. Otherwise, the tiger is more of an obstacle than the news vans.

It's random when the tiger will attack you. Be prepared when the tiger does so you'll quickly get back to driving without getting screw over. You still gotta drive fast to win. News vans doesn't come after as much as the regular Escort. I confess this ends up being one of the worst variations of an Activity they ever done, it's too easy.

Insurance Fraud (1, 2, The Third and reboot)
Fraud (IV)
Torment Fraud (Gat Out of Hell)

Regardless which variation of Insurance Fraud, my general tips are nearly identical. The general concept is you gotta keep getting hit by traffic until you get enough damage in money to win. I will say some are easier than others in different ways. I do recommend knowing the map well. If you can predict when vehicles shows up will notably improve your chances.

Mayhem (all of them)
Tank Mayhem (The Third and IV)
Mech Suit Mayhem (IV)
UFO Mayhem (IV)
TK Mayhem (IV)

Before I get into giving tips, some of these became Mayhem together. Which is why I'm not listing Tank Mayhem from both Gat Out of Hell and reboot separately. I hope that helps prevents confusion. Alright the general concept of any Mayhem is simply do enough damages to win. In the first two games, you will be given particular weapon sets as well as routes.

The game can change both of those making another attempt at levels easier or harder in the process. I highly recommend using any form of explosives you have. If you can maintain a combo, you'll score higher. Some of these, notoriety will be a major issue. Especially true in the first two games despite upgrades as well as better weapons.

I also recommend blowing up fences or restaurants that has sits outside. Those are a huge help in building a great combo you'll need to win. Vehicle variations are tricky in their own respective ways. Like flying ones UFO Mayhem & the solo Mayhem in the reboot with a plane. Yes you can technically cover more of the map at a much faster rate.

You still can lose at these as well. I also recommend trying being somewhat close to the ground. Make sure you pay attention to your surroundings to prevent getting stuck or your vehicles destroyed. Tank Mayhem wise, I would say IV has the hardest among them hands down. You get two forms of attacks that may not be as helpful as other tanks.

It doesn't mean you can't build up combos, it's just trickier to maintain them. On harder levels, memorize where the wrench icons are. You may need to use some of them to keep going. Mech Suit Mayhem is tricky in terms of you can't keep on firing. Eventually you'll need to wait for that to get ready again.

Thankfully you are already on the ground with notoriety making those easier to do. TK Mayhem involves using telekinesis. Honestly, even the harder levels of this ends up being way too easy. I would even say this is by far the easiest variation of Mayhem no question. There's plenty of heavy ball things you can use to quickly get through them with little to no problem.

Snatch (Saints Row 1, 2 and The Third)

My first general tip is you are allowed to switch vehicles. You also are allowed to go in with your own customized vehicles. In The Third's case, somewhat op customized vehicles makes a huge difference. You can pick which routes you want to pick up hos. After awhile, you'll get it down all the curve balls they throw at you.

Expect more enemies on harder levels. It's a huge tip memorize the maps too. You could get the drop on the enemies then quickly pick up hos. Not only that, in The Third's case, you can upgrade the rate you revive homies making it even easier to complete. I felt this was trickier in the first two games. Honestly, Snatch can be a quick, fun times with the right strategies.

Fight Club (2)
Super Power Fight Club (IV)

I'll start with Super Power Fight Club because it's simply too easy even on the hardest level. You easily can speed ran all of them sadly. Especially in the final round, you can quickly defeat the main targets. You even could do it all with your fists too. It's simply not balanced, you are virtually guarantee doing all of them on Gold.

Fight Club in Saints Row 2 is a notably different matter here. There's two locations with six levels each. Some levels adds more opponents to defeat. I recommend bringing in Jelly Donuts, I'm serious. You can buy them at a few food places around the map. They actually fully heal you among eating em.

Even if you don't do that, at times health items gets thrown in. I highly recommend to quickly pick up weapons especially in later levels to prevent constantly getting attacked with little to no way to avoid em. A huge tip for later levels, get most of your opponents health down to they're almost defeated. This way you can quickly take them out right after each other.

Heli Assault (2 and The Third)

This will be a very straight forward experience. You have to pilot an attack helicopter. You have to make sure any drivers you're protecting completes every deal then survives. Sometimes in 2, you have to get low to the ground to pick them up. Which can be quite tricky plus you have to carefully fly them to the end as well.

Thankfully you don't do that in The Third. I also recommend knowing when other attack helicopters shows up. I highly recommend take them out as soon as possible. Either they'll aim for you right off the bat or the drivers you're protecting. Sometimes, the enemies have rockets making things trickier. Some routes in particular within Saints Row 2 can be quite frustrating to protect people in.

You do have two attacks with your attack helicopters. A little insult to Gat Out of Hell, thank god there's music!!! You can take out enemies at a notable distance. If they are too close to the drivers you're protecting don't risk using rockets. Instead I recommend using your machine gun to quickly take them out also preventing any additional damage to those drivers.

Trail Blazing (2 and The Third)
Cyber Blazing (The Third)
Blazin (IV)
Hellblazing (Gat Out of Hell)

No lie, they made all variations of Trail Blazing notably different. In Saints Row 2, hitting civilians helps adding up more time you get after going through check points. You also can keep fires on the ground to get some additional time as well. Some levels are trickier than others because of the routes you go through.

Trail Blazing in The Third is more about quickly go through check points. Which are notably bigger than they were in SR2. You also wearing a particular suit while being on fire riding an ATV. You also can hit people as well as fires for additional time. Also ramming into vehicles causes them to explode helps too. Thankfully the routes are much easier to memorize here.

Cyber Blazing is actually trickier out of the two versions in The Third. It's harder to memorize the placements of digital vehicles as well as fires. You are riding a bike clearly inspired by Tron series, I love that bike. You can hit the digital tanks for additional time bonuses. Avoid touching the digital flames, you'll be fine.

Blazing in SRIV is super speed variation with additional orbs that helps with time bonuses. You also need to prevent touching flames. Of course with upgrades these becomes too easy to complete. But you also need to be prepared when to jump high during the routes you're given. You are technically covering more distances than in the previous games at a much faster rate.

Hellblazing is a flying variation of it. Some levels are trickier than others to memorize. Enough upgrades makes all levels a bit too easy I say. You get green orbs that gives you stamina unless you already gotten infinite stamina making those pointless. The white orbs can help at times to speed up. Especially when you are starting to stall while flying upwards or at an angle.

I really hope some of my tips helps notably improve your chances at getting an 100% completion in any of these amazing games.

Quickly I will rank the games again but this time by their respective 100% completion processes. Which will exclude additional stuff not apart of that experience. I will present my ranking list down below with quick reasons explaining why as well.

6. Saints Row 1
5. Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell
4. Saints Row reboot
3. Saints Row 2
2. Saints Row IV
1. Saints Row: The Third

Sadly Saints Row 1 in a few notable ways gets the bottom here. They don't do enough to help you from dying through getting shot repeatedly as they do in the other games. There's no collectible finder in the first two SR games making doing those more difficult as well as confusing in the long run. I'm actually glad it's not part of the process in the reboot game.

For the most part, Gat Out of Hell was notably more fun in that process than the original. It's the challenges that eventually gets to you, I fully done those four times now. Some of them are rather tedious. Next up is the reboot, yes they do throw a lot at you this time around. A good amount of it is actually fun.

Upgrades played a huge part in the experience but it also ends up being a little too over whelming at times. You really got a lot to memorize for this particular 100% completion process. Next up is Saints Row 2 despite some flaws with aircrafts, it's a mostly fun 100% completion experience. It sure gets repetitive at times but still doable enough in it's own right.

The runner up ends up being Saints Row IV. Yes they also throw a lot at you here. At the same time, it ends up being an incredibly fun experience. I previously stated to officially gotten an 100% completion in five versions of the same game. Saints Row: The Third simply had the best overall ratio here. Stuff like Vehicle Theft notably difficult there isn't even a part of an 100% completion process.

Duke Nukem 3D Steam comparison

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I checked through my posts. I'm surprised I never got around directly comparing two versions of Duke Nukem 3D. Which is still among my absolute favorite FPS games ever!!! Despite being the same game, there's plenty of differences to help differ the two versions. Regardless if you were able to get your hands on both of them, you should be proud.

Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition (2013)

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour (2016)

Two different teams worked on their respective take on Duke Nukem 3D. Even bringing up their console counterparts based on those versions is a little weird. The team responsible for Megaton Edition also developed Shadow Warrior Classic Redux. There's no question, this game meant so much to the fans as well as gaming as a whole.

I think it's easier to start with what they do differently. There's a reason behind both their titles. Megaton Edition not only gives you the entire classic FPS game. You also get all three official expansion packs too. In World Tour's case, you get a new exclusive fifth episode. I should point out, all these extra episode campaigns weren't necessary designed by 3D Realms or Gearbox Software.

There's some changes done by them to not take away from the overall experience. Nerve Software is more involved with Doom franchise worked on World Tour version. Devolver Digital best known for Serious Sam & Shadow Warrior series worked on Megaton Edition. The fifth episode breaks the boss rule by adding in more boss fights through out the episode.

There's also commentary added to the game despite how little it's actually presented in World Tour version. If you see the audio icon during the levels, that's what those are. Another major difference is the graphics. Megaton Edition is more shine up rather than being reworked as in World Tour version. Don't get me wrong both versions looks, sounds and plays amazingly well.

Due to how Megaton Edition was created, it's easier to work on more computers as well as work with mods. Both do feature a level editor feature that works outside the game. Yes Duke Nukem gets lines exclusive to some bonus campaigns. Mostly Duke Caribbean: Life's a Beach and the fifth episode respectively.

Which brings us to another difference, Megaton Edition version actually comes with the original DOS version too. It's console ports lacks this however. World Tour version does pull the rewind feature straight from Xbox 360 port of Duke 3D. For those not familiar with the feature. Basically if you die, you can rewind up to you died.

This would be a double edge sword. You could rewind enough to give yourself a fighting chance or less of a chance if you aren't careful. Not to mention using any cheats will disable that feature. It will remain disabled after turning off. Unless you either restart current level or go into the next level. Honestly, this is a small issue.

Megaton Edition version is set up with an option menu before anything fires up. You can choose either version of the game, the expansions or level editor. Most of these are in their own programs while World Tour version has all of it into one program. Both have different updated engines that also effects the artwork as well.

World Tour version has seven more achievements. Both do have achievements not presented in the other version. Considering I got all of them in both versions I felt I should talk about it too. I will list every single achievement down below to make it easier to see. Achievement pictures are very different as well.

Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition exclusive achievements

Balls of Snow-Completing Duke: Nuclear Winter

The Patriot Act-Completing Duke It Out in D.C.

You will notice Megaton Edition version has very few online multiplayer achievements while there's virtually none in World Tour version. Episode 5 introduces a few new things into the game. A few new voice overs from the legend himself which I previously mentioned. There's also a new weapon called the Incinerator, an flame thrower.

A new recurring enemy called Firefly Troopers. There's also two smaller variations of previous bosses too. Overlord Sentry & Cycloid Sentry respectively. A new final boss, Cycloid Incinerator. Yes it's a more flame variation of Cycloid Emperor. Also in World Tour version, multiplayer level Faces of Death fully becomes a secret level in Episode 1.

There's more known bugs in World Tour version. Which is weird since that's the more recent version of Duke 3D. Another change that also occurred in Wolfenstein 3D in some more recent versions. World Tour version replaces the cross symbol on medic kits with a pill symbol. It turns out the classic red cross symbol on medical things isn't public domain which led to lawsuits even within video games.

There's a notable audio difference as well. World Tour version adds in another character cameo. This time, Serious Sam himself is hidden in a level. Some achievements got renamed between the two versions. For example, Alien Bastards are Gonna Pay in Megaton Edition got renamed as Alien Maggots are Gonna Pay in World Tour version.

Shame which was for using any cheat codes in Megaton Edition version got renamed as Cheating! in World Tour version. Originally achievements had a reddish background in Megaton Edition version. They changed it to being green instead. I apologize for my color blindness by the way. Some pictures for the same achievements looks better in Megaton Edition version.

The same also can be said for World Tour version in vice versa. Personally I do prefer the achievement pictures more in Megaton Edition version. It's hard to compete with Duke appearing like a Jedi in a picture compared to Darth Duke picture within World Tour version. I should point out modding can bridge episodes from both versions of Duke 3D together.

Yes you can cheat these achievements in some way. I do need to point out both Duke: Nuclear Winter & Duke Carribean: Life's a Beach has exclusive enemies too. Which does included a brain washed Santa Claus I'm not kidding. Duke Carribean also altered most character's appearances as well as the weapons.

Duke: Nuclear Winter didn't properly add in enemies. Some are virtually meant to be the same enemies by the programming. Sometimes, cheating causes enemies to turn into Santas. There's also snowmen as well as elves trying to kill you too. In Duke Carribean, you also have to take on Inflatable Sea Monsters and Seagulls.

There isn't much additional story within the expansions with most of it being within their respective endings. Two of the three expansions has Cycloid Emperor as a final boss. Duke: Nuclear Winter made Santa himself as the final boss. I got to be honest, despite how terrible that expansion was. This boss fight ended up being amazing.

Thus unofficially you have an even more complete Duke 3D collection. I should point out through modding, you also could play recreation of other console versions of Duke 3D as well. You also have access to those if you mod either version of Duke 3D. I felt to me, Megaton Edition version plays a little better overall.

World Tour version isn't far behind but it just isn't as smooth within the controls. It's not game breaking but it's still an notable issue. You can probably tell how much I love this game by now lol. I should also point out Megaton Edition version no longer available on Steam. Obviously their trailers are vastly different as well.

You already know both versions are very faithful to the original game. I can easily recommend both of them to everyone. I know some people rather know which version I'm a bigger fan of. Yes some previous team members worked on World Tour version. I have reasons to go with Megaton Edition version more.

To me, I felt like there wasn't enough to keep me replaying World Tour version. It's like you're going to go to an all you can eat buffet but most of the good stuff already gone when you get there. Well it's kinda like that in a nut shell. Most of the newer stuff you may end up forgetting about. Not to mention, Megaton Edition version having the expansions felt more complete.

Almost like I wish those expansions were in World Tour version but aren't. In a way I do feel a bit cheated. Now World Tour version done notably better on console versions. Although, I never got to play either PS port of Megaton Edition. I did talk to someone years ago who has. This person stated Xbox 360 port which I'm also familiar with was notably better in comparison.

Then again, a different team worked on two versions almost didn't release their console ports at all. This is likely why console versions of World Tour version ended up being better. So console wise I have to go with World Tour version but PC wise Megaton Edition version, Baby!!! Megaton Edition felt like the full package in comparison to what World Tour version offers.

Franchises I would love to see Digital Eclipse give TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection treatment

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, today's topic going to be a rather interesting one. As many of you know Digital Eclipse built a reception on game compilations. TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection & Atari 50 blew people away with pure nostalgia. It does bag the question if they had everything to get the go, which franchises should they do in the near future?

I selected a few franchises they could do justice with. Of course, multiple companies being involve will make things more difficult especially over licensed video games. I felt the ones I'm going for may need a bigger miracle than TMNT in comparison to happen. Regardless, I'm sure everyone has different taste making this an interesting discussion.

1. Batman

I do need to clarify which video game era of the Dark Knight we're talking about. 1989-1995 with the very best Batman games of that era in one awesome Bat package. Handheld Batman games around this time weren't great which is why I didn't list them in the line up. Basically two movies & the critically acclaimed animated show licensed games in a nut shell.

Also some versions aren't great either. Including canceled SNES version of Batman: Revenge of the Joker. I felt this is a solid enough line up. Yes Batman has a few bundle deals across gaming services. But this is more retro as well as nostalgic. Honestly, I would be very surprised this eventually happens. I can't guarantee I'll be alive that long but still going to wait.

1. Batman (NES)
2. Batman (Genesis)
3. Batman (Arcade)
4. Batman: Return of the Joker (NES)
5. Batman Returns (NES)
6. Batman Returns (SNES)
7. Batman Returns (Sega CD)
8. The Adventures of Batman & Robin (SNES)
9. The Adventures of Batman & Robin (Genesis)
10. The Adventures of Batman & Robin (Sega CD)

Batman Forever and Batman & Robin games aren't great. Other licensed games around this era are slightly better but not by much. Also Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker which is obviously outside the period I selected simply another bad Batman game. Still way better than Superman 64 though, seriously flying through rings!!!

2. The Simpsons

This one will be even trickier with the license as well as more companies involve. There's no question The Simpsons does have some amazing games based on the record breaking animated show. I could even say a particular era isn't enough to justify the franchise. Personally if I were involve I would want most of the best Simpsons games in one insane Simpsons collection.

Honestly, this is one of a very few franchises that truly deserves their own game compilation. I'm mostly going to list the more decent Simpsons games. Some "classics" like Bart vs. The Space Mutants isn't on my list. The Simpsons also deserves more decent games based on the show too. Regardless here's my line up for that compilation.

1. The Simpsons Arcade (Arcade)
2. The Simpsons: Road Rampage (Multiple platforms)
3. The Simpsons: Hit & Run (Multiple platforms)
4. Bart's Nightmare (SNES & Genesis)
5. The Simpsons: Tapped Out (Mobile)
6. Virtual Springfield (PC)
7. The Simpsons Game (Multiple platforms)

Yes I know Virtual Springfield technically isn't a video game but still gets labeled as one. At the same time, it was mind blowing for it's time too. Not many games with Virtual in the title around it's time stands out in a good way, another example being an Beavis & Butt-Head game.

3. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

I may no longer be a fan but even I confessed back in the 90s those were amazing games. In more recent years, the original franchise kept coming back in different ways. Eventually that's going to lead right into a game compilation. Hell I'll play it for old times sake. I felt this one could rival TMNT compilation they done in the right hands.

I grew up with both Genesis games myself. Of course, this also would be an era of a few years in one awesome package. I don't think a few of them should be in the compilation. I would stick to alright to greatness if I were picking the line up. So I thought this could be one truly amazing game compilation in it's own right.

1. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (SNES)
2. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (Genesis)
3. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Fighting Edition (SNES)
4. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (Game Gear)
5. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie (SNES)
6. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie (Game Gear)
7. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie (Genesis)

Both Game Boy games as well as Sega CD game isn't great. Leaving them off actually helps the compilation to do better. The only reason to include them at all is to fully deliver the entire era to the fans on a silver plate.

Those are some of the big requests I have for Digital Eclipse. Only time can tell if any of them happens or not. But the demand will always be high. Especially to the fans themselves that greatly miss playing these classics. What I can say is this, they are more willing to give much more than the actual games. Which they easily could go with my three franchise picks here.
