My prediction to what might be coming to Resident Evil Re:Verse

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I may not be a supporter of the upcoming Re: Verse game. But considering this was meant to be sorta an all-stars online multiplayer Resident Evil game. I figured to present not one neither two lists but three, it always will be three lol. But on a more serious note, yes I am giving you three different lists with the last being a surprise to myself when I threw out names.

List 1 potential dlc/update survivor characters

1. Barry Burton

2. Rebecca Chambers

3. Billy Coen

4. Sherry Birkin

5. Moira Burton

6. Sheva Alomar

7. Josh Stone

8. Joe Baker (He better be in there lol)

9. Ethan Winters

10. Valerie Harmon

11. January Van Sant

12. Tyrone Henry

13. Samuel Jordan

14. Martin Sandwich

15. Becca Woolett

I figured since the same company behind Resident Evil: Resistance is making Re: Verse why not throw out all those survivor names on my list. Now I have slightly more names for my creatures list. Some of these may bring in mechanics or add stuff to make the game play stand out a little more. Keep in mind, this is strictly my opinion do not complain I'll ignore it.

List 2 potential dlc/update creature characters

1. Bandersnatch

2. Ustanak

3. Albert Wesker

4. Alexia Ashford

5. William Birkin aka G-Birkin in Resistance

6. T-Veronica Mutant (Steve Burnside)

7. Jack Krauser

15. Ironhead

16. Tyrant-002

17. Crimson Head

18. Scaghead

19. Thanatos

20. Tyrant-103 Ivan

Alright for the final list is literately something that happened. I got extra names mostly villain side that if they should up I'll be surprise to see them. I am looking at many parts of the canon including spin off games for all these lists. You may see a few names you forgotten about for many years. A warning before I present to you my final list.

List 3 surprise dlc/update characters/creatures if they show up

1. Outbreak survivors (eight characters)

2. Ozwell E. Spencer

3. Sergei Vladmir

4. Neil Fisher

5. Alex Wesker

6. Curtis Miller

7. Tyrant from Resident Evil: Damnation

8. Glenn Arias

9. Pluto

10. Hypno Tyrant

11. Ark Thompson

12. Fongling

20. Gatling gun characters (Resident Evil 4 and 5)

21. Ubistvo

22. Sweepers

23. Nosferatu

24. Piers Nivans

25. Jake Muller

26. Tyrant-078

27. Ivy

28. Ivy Zombie

29. Helena Harper

30. Deborah Harper

31. Carlos Olveira

32. Rachel Foley

33. Draghihnazzo

34. Alexander "Sasha" Kozachenko aka Buddy

35. Angela Miller

36. Derek Simmons

37. Leech Man

38. Leech Zombie

39. Mimicry Marcus

40. Uroboros Mkono

Now that's a lot of potential names to be surprised about. Honestly, I'm curious to see how many characters and creatures will be in the final game. The testing seems to be going well from what I heard. I actually have a friend on PS4 side testing it out during that period. Sadly, I did not get in but more likely to get something DMC in comparison anyway.

I'll tell you right now if they stand away from Resident Evil games not on RE Engine, they're playing it way too safe. I am sorry some of you won't take that well. If you want a full all-stars game there shouldn't be many limits preventing it in the first place. Oh wait that's this game why of course they want to go this route sarcasm.

Jack Red reviews Last Year again

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I started with the older version of Last Year: The Nightmare. But how could you blame me since they didn't properly label the newer version on Steam. I recently bought the newer version to give this a more proper review. I don't want to repeat much of what I already said. So I'm going to link my review of the old version here.

https://jackred1989.blogspot.com/2021/01/jack-red-reviews-last-year-nightmare.html

Last Year currently stuck on Chapter 1: Afterdark. Which introduced a new classmate character named Raj. You also get one of the sickest killers in any multiplayer horror game I ever seen, The Spider. Honestly I'm very surprised how different this version was. They completely changed the in-game lobby design, I love it a lot more.

They also added an option to play as one of the classmate characters or the fiend side with three killers during the matches. It is no more randomly selecting someone to being the killer, I didn't like that in the old version. I really didn't like that in Friday the 13th: The Game. They also added two more maps making the current total of five maps.

There's hazards in those maps that can kill anyone or The Spider easily if they aren't careful. The Spider also gets help from the other spiders. The death animations from The Spider alone will put chills right down your spine. They also have Arcanum that's similar to a few modes in Dead by Daylight. You do challenges to possibly earn more outfits.

You also can earn perks the killers can use during matches. They also have cards as a form of in game currency where you can buy more outfits. Some outfits are exclusive to the events though. The game makes it clear, if you don't play the events you won't get em. They also had tutorial for both sides well done in my opinion.

I can say it got technically further than Hide or Die did. They already announced Chapter 2 a while back. Now this is subject to change due to their work being on hold. The newer version of Last Year has more people playing it. Honestly, this is a truly solid multiplayer horror experience. Even if it doesn't necessary become the next thing after DbD, there's no question it's one of it's best competitions out there.

Last Year looks even better in this newer version. I kinda wish chat in game lobby on the fiend side would work. I know a small issue but it's still a great game regardless. I have to say The Strangler remains my favorite killer in the game with The Spider being my second favorite. I felt this game deserves to live on to truly become amazing stuff.

Top 5 Why being an Mastermind in Resident Evil: Resistance is better than being an killer in Dead by Daylight

I decided to do this comparison blog in sections. Don't worry in due time a survivor version will come. I recently put so much time into being the Mastermind characters. I figured one long comparison blog won't do as well. Also, this gives me more room to breath while making this project. Just don't expect this to be over soon.

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I know it's a little early to do a smaller comparison. I figured since I put a lot of time just this month into being all Mastermind characters in Resident Evil: Resistance. Why not reveal how I truly felt about the experience on being the villain in matches. Now I know this likely regardless how I go about will have some people disagree.

Keep in mind, this is strictly my opinion alone. This is virtually combining a lot of reasons to become just 5 great reasons. Now, I put a lot of hours into both games. Trust me, you may find this interesting to read or ignore it altogether. To me, it makes absolutely no difference. I just hope those who do read this enjoy my work.

5. Some creatures wears cosmetics

Let's get this out of the way, Dead by Daylight has a lot more outfits in comparison. There's no hiding that but here you can pick which zombies wears em. There's some joke outfits too to make things interesting to say the least. My point is you can use multiple different outfits across several enemies. Instead of simply wearing one outfit.

Yes, I know in DbD you have more freedom to alter how you want to look. I still prefer having enemies dress up like things you just wouldn't expect. Clearly, these developers have a weird sense of humor. Zombies could look like mummies, Count Dracula, a dinosaur costume and a few others. I just like you can use multiple outfits during matches to spice things up.

You also can spray pictures on the map. Another somewhat funny thing they actually allowed is doing gestures as well as taunts as some of the creatures. Now it's not everyday you'll see a zombie doing some dance moves lol. I don't think they included the moon walk move from the late Michael Jackson. Honestly, you can't do that at all in DbD.

4. More map control

It's no secret some killers in DbD doesn't do well with map control. Thus, the player has to work harder to try winning matches. It likely comes down to luck or just plain stupidity of the survivor players. Regardless, as a Mastermind you not only fully see the map. You can switch between the cameras. Most sections of all the maps has a decent amount of cameras.

Basically you got eyes everywhere for the most part. Which is important in games like these. You also can do many things to slow down survivors, more on that later. Doors can be locked forcing more effort out of the survivors to open them. In some Area 3 sections, the Mastermind can cover up tanks the survivors needs to destroy.

3. Your goal is simply waste time

Although in both games you have the choice to being one of four survivors or the villain player. The dark side of it has different goals. In Dead by Daylight, for the most part the killers needs to sacrifice survivors. Sure, you could use a mori that does require hooking an survivor at least once. But that depends which type of mori or method of getting one.

Some are more strict than others to pull off. In Resident Evil: Resistance, the goal isn't about killing the survivors. As long there's time left they can revive for another chance at escaping. The Masterminds are more about wasting time to prevent them from escaping. Trust me, sometimes you have to be creative to waste time during matches.

Keep in mind, using creatures and traps but they ended up getting taken out by the survivors adds to their time. Nicholai does have a famous strictly gun build, which I tried out not long ago. It greatly reduced their ability to increase their time. But I do need to mention, this is rather tricky to pull off. You have to get better at using guns as well as being ready to move to another camera at times.

2. Voice overs

Currently, none of the killers in DbD has actual voice overs. I loved all five Mastermind characters has voice overs. In fact, a lot of lines with some you can choose to say during matches. Daniel in particular has the funniest lines in the entire game. None of them are hiding how they felt about torturing and killing the survivors.

Simply having the voice overs alone, I felt more like I'm actually them while playing matches. Of course, Nemesis has a few lines too like his famous "S. T. A. R. S.!!!" line. Sometimes, William will say "Help me!!!" like he did in his first boss fight in RE2 remake. I also liked some of their lines goes with some of the survivor's lines too as if they were having an conversation.

1. More in depth builds

This might come as a surprise to those who only played DbD but not Resistance. There's a lot more to consider when making a deck for any Mastermind. Like each Mastermind has three skills with one directly affecting their Ultimate cards. You also get equipment that can be less or the maximum of 25 points.

Obviously, this means you can't fully use every possibility like in DbD. But it does better help with the balance. You also can choose up to 10 cards. There's a lot of ways you could play the matches here. Mostly creature theme, gun theme, trap theme, a mix of those and more. Personally, I do rely on using Vapors to quickly add effects to creatures.

Oh wait that's still not all folks. Each Mastermind character can select up to two exclusive cards. Area 2 will give that Mastermind which Area 2 card you selected. Same with Area 3 with those cards. There's a couple misses but the hits among them do stand out like Remove Shell is absolutely no joke. Some of the other reasons also applies here as well.

You also can select between five options for a map layout with the fifth being random. Basically leave it up to chance which one out of the four you'll get. This does effect where key items will be in Area 1. It also does effect the later sections with objective locations for the survivors. Thus, you could plan an ambush or stall them in other ways.

The best part of all is in DbD as the killer you're mostly by yourself. Recently with The Twins, it's virtually two killers. They act as the solo exception to this following point. When you play as The Mastermind, you control a small army. Thus, you use Bio Energy to your advantage to making their odds not as great in comparison.

I actually seen some builds where those players were able to quickly filled an room with enemies no lie. I should point in equipment section, a handful of it applies to Ultimate cards. Mostly how long they last as well as how much damage they dealt that's it. You also got stuff to increase other functions like cameras or weapons that attach to them mostly different types of guns.

A great Mastermind has to plan for as many possibilities as possible. You never know if you could be facing a group of skilled survivors that have access to the hidden weapons. Some of these will do a lot of damage to whatever you summon. You also get great at wasting their time as well as their resources during a match.

There's a few types of cards you can use in your deck too. Creatures, Traps, Firearms, Effect and Mods respectively. You also could gain access to a few bonus cards that won't cost any Bio Energy at all to use. It depends if the survivors kill the supply zombie or not though. If they kill him, they could get some great stuff.

If not, you possibly could get Generator Mod - Large which helps with getting more Bio Energy in a short period of time. There's also Binding Flash, Ivy, Teleportation Trap and Grenade Launcher. I felt most of those will help more than Generator Mod - Large sadly. Using equipment can greatly improve your chances if you know exactly what to go for within 25 points.

Effect cards are mostly enhancers you'll use on creatures. Like Regen, Infection (very important), Energy Leech, Berserker and Invulnerability respectively. Mod cards are bigger risks but more meant to reduce the amount of work you do during the matches. For example, there's a virus mod for a short period makes any creatures you spawn already infectious.

I highly recommend using stuff like discount or any Energy Booster cards. This will temporary lower the amount of stuff you'll need during the matches. Trust me, this can greatly increase your chances at winning any match. Stuff like Overclock is a quick boost of Energy Boost with a notable waiting period but having Clone card.

Yeah I do need to discuss, one of my absolute favorite cards in the game. Clone card could appear at the beginning of a match not costing or doing anything. But it can quickly show up as the same card you just used. Keep in mind, every clone card is one more Bio Energy than the actual cards. These discount cards used prior could quickly be reused again.

As for your Ultimate cards, it's rare to gain access to them in Area 1. But for the most part are that Mastermind's strongest offensive card. You also could use two of them defensively to block some objectives as well. Personally, Remove Shell is worse to go up against than Mr. X honestly. Just building a deck you want will take time due to ranking all five Mastermind characters up a lot.

Trust me, it is worth going through the trouble. A great deck can hold up amazingly well against great teams. If you choose to do strictly traps and guns direction, you greatly limit the survivors gaining time. But at the same time, you have to more directly hunt them down. There's cons no matter how well set up your deck is.

Resident Evil news (January 21st, 2021)

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I got a lot to talk about. I'll start with the least interesting news, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is getting some classic Resident Evil costumes yawn next. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness got talked about a little bit. I'm actually excited for this show coming to Netflix soon. It will serve a similar purpose as the previous CGI movies did.

We got a new trailer for Resident Evil: Village as well as some game play footage. I'm very happy with what was shown so far. I still got the most surprising news to talk about. Like Resident Evil: Resistance was to Resident Evil 3 remake. Resident Evil Re: Verse will be an online multiplayer companion game to Village.

Just going by the trailer this is going to be an all stars Resident Evil game. Sadly, on the surface it is a format a lot of gamers would enjoy. But a closer look it's just a slightly different, generic PVP multiplayer game. It's obviously way better than Umbrella Corps. It just lacks depth that Resistance had. Don't get me wrong I'm willing to give it a try like most fans.

It's just I kinda expected something than this. Now considering these two games are officially coming to Xbox One. My Xbox One RE collection isn't complete yet. Including Xbox 360 port of Code: Veronica X, there's fourteen Resident Evil games you can play on Xbox One alone. WOW that's pretty mind blowing if you ask me.

I was happy with most of the news they talked about. Just disappointed in a crossover that doesn't make much sense as well as what ultimately Re: Verse going to be game play wise. This will be a huge year for the franchise. I can't wait to see what other surprises are waiting for us all. One more thing, I don't think that one guy is Daniel.

Jack Red reviews Last Year: The Nightmare

Warning this will be a long review, please take as many breaks as humanly possible. I don't want you to get strangled or chopped up into pieces.

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I had to be patient since not a lot of people play this anymore. I should point out according to a more recent update, no one from the team has been working on it. COVID-19 hit them hard but it's community keeping the game alive. I am talking about Last Year: The Nightmare, which does get compare a lot to Dead by Daylight.

Last Year: The Nightmare is a newer version of the same game. Steam actually sells two versions of the same game I'm not kidding. You can play as one of the class mates or the killer. As the class mates aka our survivors you can select which role you want to play. You also have the option to switch roles during matches, a nice touch.

In vice versa, the player whose the killer has several advantages. For starters, in setting traps mode they can teleport a notable distance including above or below. You also can switch between three killers to play as. If one of them dies, don't worry at some point during the match that killer will be revived.

Each map has different objectives while attempting to attempt. Let's be honest, some of this got copied by Resident Evil: Resistance in some way. Even I confess that game is more of a clone to this game than DbD game play wise. The graphics are truly amazing with beautiful artwork. Speaking of that, you also can buy the artbook for this game.

You do need to find it within Last Year's files through Steam. But the pages are just the correct length to make looking at every page not seem like a chore. Like Dead by Daylight on Steam, you also can buy the soundtrack. Now going back to the killers, sadly I am not sure how to get the most recent version that includes one additional class mate character as well as the new killer.

Unfortunately until that problem gets resolved I can't talk about those characters sorry. Update: remember I said there's two versions on Steam? It turned out the release in 2019 so happens to be the newer Afterdark version, oh okay how come they didn't call it that? I'll tell you what if the game remains online, I'll buy that version too to talk about a handful of stuff I can't right now.

I should point a few major things out about this game. It actually started as a Kickstarter game. Like Friday the 13th: The Game and Hide or Die. To me, it seems those games are getting the short end of the stick. Also, unlike DbD there's five class mate players against one killer player during matches. I probably should talk about the original three killers since they all play differently.

The Giant is a huge maniac that has powerful punches as well as easily throwing people from over his head. He can take the most damage out of the three but he's so slow in comparison. The Slasher is wielding an axe, he's the all around killer choice. I still wouldn't say he's the best one. The Strangler has a couple stuff going for him.

He has a nice long range chain attack to pull survivors closer to him. He also can attack quickly but he's also the weakest out of the three. Honestly, I just like being this guy during an match. He was the first killer I tried out, I didn't think I would like him so much right off the bat. The soundtrack is beautifully done as well.

The killer has two ways to win an match. Either by getting the other players timed out or kill em all. The good news for them is you can die several times during the matches. You can be revived in a weird method of spawning behind a locked door. You have to be rescued by another class mate player to return to the game.

Personally, I like having multiple chances during a multiplayer match than just one like DbD's case. This is the only game developed and published by Elastic Games. I also liked how team work is more of a factor here than DbD as well. I know I been bashing DbD recently. It's just when you start to pay attention to the competition even the top dog isn't perfect.

There isn't many achievements either but considering not a lot of people are playing it I guess that's fine. Yes, I am listening to the soundtrack while writing all of this. I also liked they are making an interesting horror story that strangely all connects together. Now that's difficult to pull off right.

Last Year: The Nightmare is a surprise in many ways to me. Each class mates has their own animations as well as voice overs. Which also applies to the killer characters as well. Just not as much speak in comparison. The killers also can set traps while de-spawn from the game. There's a golden rule where they can't respawn or plant traps if a class mate can still see them or too close by.

Personally, that's a good rule because just imagine for one moment that wasn't there. We are talking about cheating here. Each class the class mates has in some way affects the game play. Like Assault is being the fighters in the group. There's also Scouts that help locate key items as well as blind the killer.

Medics are well the healer of the group not much to explain there. Finally we get to mechanic where they can built power ups or turrets. I don't know if the loading screen prior to the matches might be a problem in the newer version or not. They do differ in length but most of the time I'm hoping it doesn't crash or I get kicked out of the match.

I will say the maps I played not including the newer ones in Afterdark version are decent. They are well designed with the best objectives for each map. Elastic Games has given us a game that may get labeled as a DbD clone. There's a couple people who actually label this as the DbD killer.

It may not has so much DbD has going for them. But the fact each killer has a lot more killing animations is a huge step up. Usually in DbD, either you sacrifice survivors on the hook unless you're Pyramid Head with his exclusive sacrifice method or use a mori to kill them. Which also includes depending on the variation of mori to hook an survivor at least once.

In Last Year, you can weaken or sometimes flat out kill an class mate on the spot. Some killers can use a few spots as death traps to instantly kill a class mate as well. Thus, it is actually easier to die in this game. The additional stuff I talked about earlier does help out a lot against five players.

You have no idea how frustrating it is to keep up with four players as the killer in DbD. Yes, this may differ depending on the killer you're playing as. My point is those extra features makes it more a fair match. I will be honest despite not nearly having as much content as DbD. This game is still more balanced in a lot of ways.

Another thing a lot of people likes more is being able to fight back even kill the killers. In DbD, either getting the killer stunned or running away are your only options to survive. You also get those with ways to fight back against the killers. You also can barricades trap doors and actual doors to slow down the killers too.

There's more paranoia due to those extra features on the killer's side. At the end of a match either you activate the escape scenario or the game low on time will. Thus you need to hurry to the exit. But the killer is likely going to be chasing you or simply waiting by the exit to kill you. I do like the animations for escaping or not in this game.

Honestly, Last Year is much better than I personally give credit to. For a smaller team to create something this good, I must give them respect. I am not going to lie, if they do return to working on this. I actually think this could become DbD's biggest competitors that's still going. F13 & Hide or Die already died with no more content coming to Resistance.

There's no question this is way better than the famous DbD rip off game Soul at Stake. Even if this was inspired by DbD, they made great changes. They clearly made it their own here, I love it. This game can be so much more than in it's current state which I can't fully judge until I get that version or talk to someone who has.

I do need to point out like Horror Legends, there is a discord channel. One of the best places to get people to play with you in this game. Sometimes, a handful of people at times is on. If you want to experience something like this don't let too many opportunities get away. Trust me, this game is well worth the time, money & patience.

The mechanics needs to collect scrap to build stuff is such a great idea. It is common enough to not be tedious. It just depends how well you put the amount you have to use. I do like other class mates can get you out of the killer's grasp or traps. It is important to learn the killer's weaknesses because it will make killing them a lot easier.

To me, it felt like there's more strategies involve then you even realize. Like you may need to hack a computer or find some gas. Suddenly, out of no where the killer shows up to prevent you from achieving those goals. Almost no where is save that's something you must remember while playing.

I do need to point another easy to miss fact about this game. There was a discord gaming service where this game had 90 days exclusively deal. Which got cut a bit short due to not making money or not even making it clear they had that service. Kinda like the movies & shows Steam had to a degree before they chose to start ending that part of the service.

This meant, it wouldn't be on Steam until the deal was over. Chances are this sudden change of plans could've delayed it's Steam release a bit. I'm not a expert in marketing so I wouldn't know how stuff like that works. What I do know is we can play it without spending additional money to do so is a plus in my book.

I also liked that some of the maps in this version of the game are sections of the class mate's school. Which I felt was a clever concept. This makes the possibilities even more interesting to think about. In this version, there's three maps with Afterdark having a fourth map. Once again, it's one of those things I may get the chance to come back to depending on things.

Last Year is something that won't go quietly in the night, it's going to be loud and scary. This game has the potential being one of the greatest underrated horror multiplayer games ever made. Yes I just said that because it truly deserves that reputation or greater. We have something that you think plays like DbD but much more of it's own thing in so many ways.

Special thanks section

I would like to take this time to thank everyone from when I started officially playing matches to a couple of them last night. I really wanted to give this game a try because I believe it had potential. It looked rather interesting as well as unique. I wouldn't have that opportunity thanks to every single one of you that helped to making this also a possibility.

Last thoughts

It is a real shame this game is barely getting live streamed anymore. I kinda curious to know why rather than they believed the game was dead. I don't think it's dead just yet. We have something that was worth going out on a limb to getting. Honestly, this game deserves much more attention than it recently getting.

Jack Red reviews Horror Legends

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I originally held off from doing a review on Horror Legends due to my old computer couldn't fully play it properly. Thankfully it plays perfectly on my new computer. Keep in mind, this is an early access game on Steam. Some stuff I covered either be changed or removed entirely in the final version of the game.

Horror Legends is asymmetrical multiplayer horror game. The amount of players can be high at least four times more people can play during a single match. There's a few maps that's well designed with Dream Scape being my favorite. Everyone in the audio department does such an amazing job in every aspect.

Like similar games, you play as the Casts essentially our survivor characters of the game. Their goal is either kill off an Legend or escape by activating an glyph then being in the correct spot. In vice versa, you play as the Legends, our killer characters in the game. Which does include two versions of Punkie whose this game's mascot character.

You can earn point by achieving objectives as well as killing your enemies. These points can be used to unlock Extras or Comics respectively. I loved they used horror comic book style to tell the game's story. To me, that's creative as well as ambitious that's surprisingly pulled off well. The Casts can use candies to heal but finding stuff is essential for survival.

There's a great variety among the Legend characters. Not to piss a few smaller communities off here. Horror Legends is in a much better shape than the likes of Hide or Die that's gone now and Last Year: The Nightmare. Cross your fingers, you might be getting my review of that. Sadly, it heavily depends on other people so it's sorta delayed until I got enough information.

You also can use points to purchase cosmetics for every character. So far only the Supporter Skins pack dlc is paid with real money but that's cheap. You should see Soul at Stake's dlcs, a lot more than the actual game I'm not kidding. I loved most of these are in the game that I can get at anytime unlike DbD.

I love you can play this by yourself too. If you want to play with others in this, I highly recommend contacting them through it's own discord channel. You are more likely going to do night matches though. This is one of those must play on Halloween games. The controls are perfect I don't have a single complaint there.

I also liked the Legend characters have different conditions to lose. Like Werewolf can temporary be defeated unless you get him unconscious then use the silver weapon to kill him for good. They went out of their way making each Legend character stand out in their own way. In some regard, there's notable differences between each Cast character too.

I will confirmed this is a small indie developer making the game. Virtually using whatever money they earn plus from those buying the game as well as Supporter Skins pack. I am amazed they were able to add so much within a few years since this came to Steam. Clearly COVID-19 isn't slowing them down.

I know a lot of people when this becomes more popular will unavoidably compare this unfavorably to DbD. You know what, this game does do many things better in comparison. For starters, more people can play at one point. Which brings me directly to another point. Depending which Legend you face in matches against people.

When you die as a Cast character, either you'll become specters, other Corey dolls or those pumpkin creatures that serves Punkie. Thus, the numbers can go from the Cast to the Legend quickly to help balance things out. I also liked most future content will be added for free. Which saves me a lot of money plus it's through Steam that also saves me money to play it.

The artwork is impressive as well as inspiring. Horror Legends is one of the best DbD competitors out there that the world doesn't know about yet. There's a lot of playable characters as well. I should point out this is the same indie developer officially working on Puppet Master: The Game.

As of a few years ago fully became a licensed game. I'm a huge Puppet Master fan, I had to say something about it. Horror Legends is true to it's name. You also can find keys to unlock doors. I do strongly think overtime this will be a truly amazing multiplayer game. It already has one of the nicest game communities I ever met.

I will be honest, I virtually didn't even mattered in DbD's community. I actually felt like I do in both this and Resident Evil: Resistance's communities respectively. I will even say I left DbD for both these games. Long term wise, there's way too much stuff to buy in DbD. I know I criticize Friday the 13th: The Game for not having enough content.

But this is different because DbD made the more notable stuff you have to pay with real money to get. Which quickly gets on your nerves. I do think Horror Legends could hold it's own against DbD when the time is right, I'll bet my own reputation on that. I will say this Horror Legends continues to impress me.

According to one of it's developers, this isn't inspired by DbD. It was more inspired by Alien vs Predator on Atari Jaguar, yeah that game. Honestly, I do truly see what they're bringing from that but also making it their own too. This is a game that deserves way more attention than it currently getting.

Tips how to get S rank in Mastermind matches (Resident Evil: Resistance)

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I think I'm not perfect. I loss majority of matches in Resident Evil: Resistance. But I felt to help those trying to get an S rank in matches as any Mastermind character. I wanted to give some great tips to making that a bit easier in the long run. I will even make this into a few sections so you'll know which section you'll need.

Section 1: Know your Mastermind characters

A key tip I give in Dead by Daylight as any of the killers is knowing how to properly play as em. Spencer is more of the energy abuser type character. Annette specializes in using creatures which makes her easily one of the strongest right off the bat. Alex is more about infecting people as well as placing traps.

Nicholai heavily relies on using guns. Which also makes perfect sense to give him Nemesis as his Ultimate Skill. Daniel is essentially the average Mastermind character with an easy Ultimate creature to control. Annette works best with enhancers since you need to hit survivors hard at times. Alex is perfect for a few set locations delaying goals from getting done.

Nicholai technically has more direct methods to attack survivors. Spencer has a powerful Ultimate Skill that could be a game changer. You also need to know all their exclusive cards as well. Overtime, you'll learn how to get more as well as how to use em better. Playing to their strengths is critical especially late into a match.

Section 2: Building a powerful deck

Sometimes you can lose simply because you picked the wrong cards or use Bio Energy too often. I recommend using more lower Bio Energy cards. But you also need to make sure you got something difficult for them to counter. Otherwise all that effort will be for nothing. What I recommend is using a mix of all your options to the best of your ability.

Basically, you can try out all variation skills for each Mastermind character. Eventually, you'll get a prefer one you'll use all the time. Also try to use your equipment that better balances your odds more in your favor. For example, you do need something great for the creatures that's obvious. You also need stuff to help in more situations than not.

So I recommend using additional stuff for several factors during the match. Like increasing the durability of the tanks in Area 3 can be critical or you could increase the amount of Bio Energy. You'll need to figure out how much ground you possibly could cover with your builds. Once, you figure that out, some matches will be much easier than others.

Also, for any Mastermind but works best with Annette try to use enhancers. You could do the ones you directly shoot into or close by creatures. I recommend using Enhancing Vapors for quicker usage. These also cover more ground than those shoots in comparison. This also would work well for Alex since she is a trap character.

Section 3: Making Strategies

A huge part of making strategies is having a lot of experience being a survivor. Which is also one of my advices from Dead by Daylight. You have just as many possibilities to consider. You could be playing a team of low ranks or higher ranked veterans or a mix of the two. You also already know what their goals on each map will be.

Which does make planning much easier in the long run. There's a lot of ways both sides can play this. A lot more strategies would work on those new to the game. Of course, you need to come up with great strategies for better players. A huge factor in this is infection. Which the game gives the Masterminds a couple of ways doing that.

Why infect them you might be wondering? Sometimes you'll need to slow em down. It also makes much easier to down there especially during critical moments in the match. By having more lower Bio Energy cards, the more often you can use what's in your deck. But having too many higher cost Bio Energy cards will delay what you can do.

Keep in mind, most Ultimate Skills are creatures you have to control. Unless, you have a variation like Annette's Beastmaster. For the most part have the option to continue controlling them. The longer you do so will add more time for them to become available again. Which is why you may have to quickly exit out of them.

A small thing for Alex since the game allows you to do stuff while away from controlling her Ultimate Skill creature. Obviously, no problem at all with Spencer. To sum it up, for most of them while controlling their Ultimate Skill creatures. You aren't able to summon anything else until the timer runs out for them or you decide to left em.

It is important to learn ways you can slow down survivors with your Ultimate Skills. It may even come down to that moment how things plays out to determine which side wins. Another occurring option is ambush survivors badly. This could happen a lot or at the end of a match. Keep in mind, survivors can disable or destroy cameras to limit your view.

Sometimes, you can use a nearby camera to help. Other times you may have to plan ahead. It really depends the process of their escape. You may have one tank left or they're about to escape. During the final escape, the Mastermind is given faster Bio Energy access for some craziness. You also can take a chance by controlling one of the zombies to attack an survivor or some of them.

Obviously works best when they're infected variations. You only need to give them the other Enhancing Vapors to increase your chances downing em. I also recommend using stuff to throw them literately off the ground like Air Cannon or Airburst Trap. Sometimes using one or more close by can put them at a disadvantage.

Ending section

Once you figured all of this out, your chances at winning will increase. You may not win them all but you still have a great chance doing so even against high rank survivors. The game will continue increasing the possibilities as you go higher within the ranks at a certain point. There is no such thing as going down a rank in this game.

Pay attention to why you loss because it should give you some ideas how to change your decks being a better one. A strong one in the right hands is terrifying. I hope all my advice just from the last few days helps some people out there. There's so much to consider for any match yet don't be afraid to go for it.

Jack Red reviews Resident Evil: Resistance

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, it's finally time to review Resident Evil: Resistance. Originally announced as Project: Resistance. You can tell this was going to be released separately to stand on it's own. Of course, plans can change faster than you realize. So it is currently an online game companion to RE3 remake.

Honestly, I know I did criticize Capcom for putting the attention on Resistance rather than 3 remake. After actually playing Resistance, I'm glad they did. Yes you heard me correctly, this is a truly amazing game. You play as one of four survivors to attempt escaping from an Umbrella facility. You also can play as the Mastermind whose goal being the exact opposite.

Not to add salt or anything like that. There are a few notable areas even DbD does fall short in. I just didn't notice them until I played this. One of the major examples is the survivors. Each survivor character has their own abilities that comes with a few variations. Plus the additional stuff can be use on any of them to help improve their chances of surviving.

I am not going to lie this process is a lot more involve on the mastermind's side. Not only that does, you also can set up your deck. Which could include creatures, traps, enhancers, and mod cards. Basically you have a small army at your finger tips. Which I'll explain a lot more in detail shortly. Both sides also uses a different form of currency during matches.

The survivors use Umbrella Credits on a particular crates in a few set locations. The masterminds use Bio Energy to use said cards. But this actually gets more interesting. You also could end up with a random card not among your selection. You do have to wait for particular sections of the matches to use some cards though.

A lot of creatures can be controlled by the Mastermind. Believe it or not, the Mastermind themselves can directly attack survivors through several weapons for cameras. There is seven survivors with five mastermind characters to choose from. Obviously, a lot fewer than DbD but at least they aren't essentially the same character in terms how they paly.

Yes I know every playable character has a story. Ash is the only exception from this for a few reasons. What I meant is in matches any survivor can use perks, items and offerings they want. But here, you have January who can hack the system or Martin who can disarm traps. What I am saying is there's a very clear difference in how they went about playing as a survivor between the two games.

I actually played as every character in the game not long ago. All of them even with a few similarities was different enough. I liked both sides gets their own set up screen while waiting for the load screen prior to the match. Some people are funny playing an horror game but can't defense yourself concept.

I am sure a lot of those people would choose from or Friday the 13th: The Game over DbD. I also liked every character has their own lines too. The maps are broken up into three sections with the objectives being different for both sides. We haven't even got to one of my favorite aspects of this game.

We have to talk about the mastermind's Ultimate Skills. Four of them are strong BOWs with three being big named creatures. Such as Nemesis for Nicholai, Mr. X for Daniel and William for Annette respectively. Alex has her own plant creature called Yateveo that can devour survivors. Finally we have Spencer's Disintegration Field.

It is the only one lacking a theme but this will dealt some serious damage to the survivors. It is possible to down all four survivors in one usage I'm not kidding. I loved you can also control these creatures with their own move sets. Four of them do have an instant death move. Which can be stopped by other survivors.

Yateveo can be killed by the survivors while only Mr. X, Nemesis and William can be defeated temporary. Disintegration Field is just a laser grid that lasts a little while. I should point out, three of them don't have their transformations. Both sides can directly view the map screen with differences.

There's seven maps in the game with the final section looking more like an Umbrella underground facility. By default, the survivors has five minutes to escape. But doing stuff like helping others, taking out creatures or placing key items gives you more time. In vice versa, you need to waste as much time as possible.

You can get crazy with spawning enemies and traps. Especially in the process of the final exit opening because the mastermind will get a notable increase in the amount of Bio Energy they have. I actually seen builds by other people that are ridiculous. More so than any I seen from DbD honestly.

Resident Evil: Resistance is easily an underrated online multiplayer game. Truly, one of DbD's best competitors to date. I am deeply impressed how damn good this game turned out to be. Even it was developed by another team. Honestly, this helped in getting over the disappointing RE3 remake. You essentially got more of a dream RE game that's ahead of it's time.

My new big project

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I recently gotten into Resident Evil: Resistance. I really want to take back what I said not long ago. This is surprisingly a well thought out game. It actually has plenty of differences from DbD to stand out on it's own. I already decided to do a full on comparison blog between the two games.

I will be putting a lot of Resident Evil: Resistance for research purposes as well as fun. I already finished a video playlist where I won as all five Mastermind characters with an S rank on YouTube. At this point, the very last thing I want to do is rush something like this out. I am taking a lot of notes to make sure I don't miss anything major.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8vGuhRohK-Iz1i_2jJSmOaL_jmGRwmTG

I am also trying to not reveal anything prior to the actual blog's release. I can confirm that I haven't even started writing it yet. I will say this for a spin off Resident Evil game, it's one of my favorites. Honestly, it's a shame the developers already done with the game and moved on. Yes I seen the tweets the director of the game left on Twitter.

Right now, I'm aiming to making this the upcoming Halloween blog project. I actually felt this is going to be a lot more than my previous comparison blogs with DbD. Resident Evil: Resistance may be at attempt in cashing in on DbD but it still a decent game. There's plenty of reasons why I like it so much, yes I do plan to review it very soon.

Why Resident Evil 1 and 2 remakes are better than Resident Evil 3's?

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, rather than doing a full comparison blog of solely Resident Evil 3. I don't think I could do something like that enough justice. I know some fellow fans wants to know how I felt when comparing RE3 remake to the previous two remake games. Don't worry I won't hold back here. Let's just say spoiler alert not good.

For starters, both RE1 and RE2 remakes are very faithfully to the original games. They do often change many things while staying true enough to enjoy them the same. Sadly, RE3 greatly fell harder here than I realized. Let's start with the enemies, an easy place to start. RE1 remake maintains all previous enemies while adding some new ones.

Resident Evil 2 remake does remove spiders, rats, cock roaches and crows from the game. But they actually made Ivys scary for the first time to me. The Ghost Survivors has three additional zombie types you could face. They also made G-Type creature into a recurring enemy while in the sewers, genius move.

Majority of their boss fights is kept with some getting changed more than others. RE3 removed Grave Digger, a giant worm you faced twice as a boss in the original game. Honestly, I felt they could work with that but simply chose not to. This meant the only boss monster in that version was Nemesis. Two of which were somewhat similar.

Oh I'm not done yet, a lot more enemies from RE3 aren't present as well. Such as Brain Suckers and Sliding Worms. It really doesn't help how they went about placing some of these enemies. In all honestly made the game felt limited in what it could do. The perfect example being Drain Deimos in only one location when originally they appeared in most locations.

The closest of new enemies so happens to be Lickers and Pale Heads from RE2 remake. Yeah I was kinda hoping we gotten more than this. To be fair, both hunter models are beautifully done in this game. Hunter Gamma being one of scariest by far. Although, they only can do an instant death move this time around.

Both RE1 and RE2 remakes had better overall pacing. Keep in mind, RE1 has multiple endings with both characters. RE2 has four possible scenarios you can play with some notable changes. Not as much as the original game though. You can clearly tell this game got rushed due to how easy you can speed run several sections of it.

Another notable problem is lack of unlockables. Sadly, there's no variation of the game unless you count Nightmare & Inferno difficulty of RE3. There's no mini games like the solo mini game of the original game. Most of the dlc support actually went to Resident Evil: Resistance. Which is very unusual the main game itself got the short end of the stick here.

Costumes is very in short supply as well. Due to removing Carlos' classic outfit, you only get three outfits between two characters. Now I know, there's way more outfits in Resistance but that's more of it's own thing. Both RE1 and RE2 remakes had a great selection of outfits you can wear. The amount of puzzles does seem to differ.

RE1 remake clearly had the most puzzles. I felt RE2 remake's smaller amount works better for it's style. But come on, there's virtually a handful of puzzles in RE3's. The original game had a lot more interesting puzzles in comparison. Which also brings me to another great reason why it failed. Originally, you had these quick time events that do alter many things.

Such as how the story plays out or item placements. One of these also can give you a boss fight with Nemesis in front of the police station. I am very disappointed this mechanic didn't return. Basically you only get one ending regardless how you play the game. Now granted a couple of Resident Evil games done that as well.

Yet most of those are way better in comparison to this. As stated before, RE1 and RE2 remakes has multiple endings. I don't have much to say on inventory since it's decent in all three games. RE1 remake does feel the closest to the original RE games without question. But RE2 remake virtually changed how one should remake any video game.

Sadly, RE3 remake is more like it tried doing it like RE2 a little too much to stand out on it's own. I actually was hoping they might've add in more story in a few sections of the game. RE1 remake does add more story to what already was there, I loved it. In some regard so does RE2 remake. In terms of recreating Jill from RE3, it was alright, nothing special.

Which is a shame because Jill Valentine a big fan favorite among the characters. I will be brutally honest since I kept holding this in for so long now. I actually felt including the side characters & Nemesis, all of them looks as well as sounds better than Jill. Now you know you are doing something wrong with that happens.

There's no question I loved Nemesis' new look, I respectively prefer the classic one a bit more. Some notable deaths were somewhat better. But come on, you ruined Brad's death with this. He originally got killed out of no where by Nemesis while Jill was watching. He ended up getting killed shortly afterwards by Nemesis.

Now that's such a iconic video game death why did they changed it being killed by zombies? To me, that felt like a huge slap to the face. I do liked Mikhail & Tyrell more in the game. I actually prefer Mikhail's new death scene. Depending on things, all of them has sections you play as other characters.

There's a few of these with Rebecca in RE1 through Chris' campaign. You play as Ada or Sherry only once rather than twice like in the original game. But they actually felt like you were playing as them in RE2 remake. We haven't even got to the other modes in RE2 yet. In most versions of RE2 including remake is The Fourth Survivor as well as The Tofu Survivor.

The Tofu Survivor was a harder, parody version of The 4th Survivor mini game. In the remake version, you can play as five tofu characters. They didn't hold back from that joke did they lol. There's also The Ghost Survivors mode where you play as those who originally died in the campaign. In these non canon stories, each playable character survived their own way.

The voice acting was way better in RE1 and RE2 remakes respectively. The hidden weapons are fine like a heat knife, infinite assault rifle, infinite rocket launcher, infinite handgun, and RAI-DEN. Originally RE3 just reused the same hidden weapons from RE2. So I am happy at least they changed it somewhat.

I still say RE2 remake had the best hidden weapons. Not only you'll get the same three hidden weapons from the original game. You also get a knife that doesn't break and an infinite handgun. RE2 even went the distance with nostalgia in comparison. You actually can wear PS1 inspired costumes which are free dlcs.

You have to pay for it, the original RE2 soundtrack. This alone was beyond anything RE3 remake ever done. The main reason I'm not bashing RE1 remake for not doing that because it's own soundtrack was better than 3 remake's soundtrack. They even removed areas from RE3 remake. Like the zoo area is completely absent.

Some areas even gotten shortened down a little too much like the police station, hospital and underground facility. RE2 through 2nd run campaigns differ every puzzle solutions to spice things up. I strongly felt everything was perfect balanced for RE1 and RE2 remakes. Clearly, RE3 remake simply can't compete with either of them.

Honestly, All three of them are technically great games. But I really can't say RE3 got remade well. It's clearly rushed, missing too much and all the focus got put on Resistance instead. Thus, it doesn't even feel great to get at fifteen bucks. In comparison, the previous two remakes did an amazing job recreating PS1 classics while being their own thing at the same time.

They shouldn't focus on making the game speed runner friendly. Also, Nemesis doesn't stalk you like he originally did. Which works both ways here, on one hand I can take my time more. But at the same time, he shows up at the worst of times. Some of those just didn't work for me sorry Capcom. I rather being stalked like Mr. X in RE2 or Ustanak from RE6.

This was part of the original vision the team had for Nemesis in the game. Also, the ways one could die just wasn't as exciting in comparison. Although, there's a few death animations that does stand out. Clearly, they were too focus on Nemesis the wrong way. Even to the point, a large amount of the dialogue talks about Nemesis more often than it should.

The original game didn't have that problem. As previously stated in my own review of RE3 remake. It strongly felt like Capcom just wanted to get RE3 remake done so they can remake RE4. Why not Dino Crisis or Code: Veronica? I actually had more fun playing as Nemesis in Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, another not great Capcom game.

Overall, Resident Evil 3 failed so hard being a remake of a horror game classic. At least, I can say it still feels like an Resident Evil game unlike RE6 and Umbrella Corps. In every possible way, it just isn't a great representation on how to modernize a classic. Especially compared to the original game itself felt lacking in content.

The original game had a couple outfits, four playable characters and several epilogues of several characters. Another thing you can't do even though it's mostly being used a joke here is you can't play as Tofu lol. By having quick time events, you can make every play through different in some way. It felt like a major missed opportunity.

My quick thoughts on Resident Evil: Resistance where they stand right now

Also, let's be brutally honest about Resistance. It is very obviously Capcom wanted to attempt cashing in on Behavior's Dead by Daylight. I'll even break it down for you quickly. Both allows you to be one of four survivors with the goal to escape or the killer to kill the survivors. Yes, I know on the evil side it's done very differently.

There's plenty of cosmetics in both games. You can create builds for each character. Although, the entire process of doing that is vastly different. A couple companies attempted to cash in on DbD's success over the years. None of them got close enough to do so. I wouldn't count Friday the 13th: The Game despite the similarities.

Honestly, Capcom simply didn't go about this concept well. They hired a different team just for this online game. The director of that game confirmed the game was finished. Almost a year already over difficult to believe I know. If Capcom can't do it than who the hell will? I still think DbD is better in a lot of ways.

If enough people were interested, I may do a full comparison blog between the two games. I know it's somewhat pointless in a few ways. But as a huge fan of both franchises, I wouldn't mine making it. The choice is ultimately yours. Personally, I am thankful to have Nemesis, Mr. X and William as trump card creatures in the game.

My Top 10 guesses who else might be in Season 8 of Death Battle

What you're about to read was originally a long comment replying to a question, one of the admins for the Facebook group Death Battle ++ asked. I think I could be on the money with most these choices.

An intro not part of this long comment

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I figured I should throw out some largely likely to show up characters in Season 8 of Death Battle. This new season starting in a few months is meant to doing some of their biggest requests ever in one season.

There's a lot of request fights over the years. I won't be surprised I don't list the actual fights they're doing. But you asked a great question so I'll do my best answer to it. Just expect this to be a long post in advance.

I won't be naming characters like Ryuko Matoi since she's confirmed to be coming. From that point, it will be fair game. Alucard from Hellsing is one of my favorite vampire characters. By now you already know they're doing Alucard vs Dio episode.

They even directly referenced doing the episode during Jon Talbain vs Sabrewulf episode. Alex Mercer from Prototype series is another likely candidate. His name gets thrown around between Carnage from Marvel and Cole from Infamous series.

In that regard makes whoever he's facing going to be one crazy fight. Another character I would like to see is Medusa Gorgon. Her biggest request is against Orochimaru from Naruto. Personally, I really would love to see those two go at it.

I highly expecting Sosuke Aizen from Bleach to show up. Everyone really wants Aizen vs Madara fight. It's no secret, two of the deadliest anime/manga villains of all time. Personally, I got my money on Aizen.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kenpachi Zaraki also from Bleach to show up. Everyone really wants him to face Akuma from Street Fighter series. Largely due to three particular episodes of One Minute Melee.

A true fact, I actually was the original person who requested that fight for their show. I was surprised people wanted more of it. So I got a personal connection to that fight. Somewhat like Sweet Tooth vs The Joker episode because ScrewAttack put my prediction blog on their front page.

Added for Kenpachi section

Oh well I am willing to throw out another potential opponent for Kenpachi. Roronoa Zoro is going to give him one hell of a sword fight. These two have destroyed an meteorite in one move. I would even be more excited to see this than Akuma vs Kenpachi.

Of course that was back when it was just a website. No one probably remembers me anyway lol. Galactus is another very likely choice here. Everyone really, really wants Galactus vs Unicron. I been waiting for years to witness a very epic battle.

Two world devours with god like abilities. The universe itself isn't safe. Of course, the animation is going to be truly mind blowing in the right hands. I really waiting patiently to see this episode.

Bart Simpson is one of my favortie cartoon characters ever. I am well aware his biggest request so happens to be one of the most offensive characters in television history. Eric Cartman from South Park now I totally understand why these two.

Two bad kids that have done some truly horrible things to people. Cartman has done stuff worthy of Hell. I even see this getting more requested than Homer vs Peter fight now. Don't think this is the only cartoon fight on my list either.

Bugs Bunny is easily one of my favorite cartoon characters of all time. Everyone really wants him to face Mickey Mouse from Disney. Honestly, this is one of those fights they could do multiple possible ways.

Which would make it likely getting a few rematches in the near future more interesting. Actually more than most fights anyway. Michael Myers is one of my favorite slasher villains ever. Everyone really wants him to face Jason Voorhees.

I truly understand the connections. Honestly, I only hope the death going to be very brutal. These two are legendary slasher villains with a huge body count. I have my money surprisingly on Jason though.

My final character trust me this was a difficult decision. There's so much to consider based on what I knew was very likely going to happen some day. A season that's very likely going to be way too over hype for it's own good.

Dr. Robotnik does deserve a second chance. A lot of people really wanted him to face Bowser from Mario series. Now, I really get why a lot of people heavily demanded this particular fight. Both of them are arch enemies of legendary platformer heroes.

They do surprisingly got a lot in common. Despite a lot of strong differences between the two characters. Also, this is likely going to be one of one fight. Although, a war theme episode is a possibility.

This is very different from Eggman vs Wily episode in so many ways. For starters, this is more of science versus magic theme fight. We got one character that has a few possibile transformations. Dr. Robotnik has a lot of possible machines to hook up to use during a fight.

Very similar to Iron Man in his episode. Honestly, there's so much potential here. We already know it likely going to be an 3D fight. Even if it is done in sprites. I do still think it could work well enough to get the job done.

This fight is going to be very unique among majority of them. We got so many interesting possibilities what could happen here. Two legendary video game villains that just won't quit. Personally, Dr. Robotnik could get access to some of his more broken inventions like Time Eater.

There's no question this fight does need to happen on their show. A fight like this simply going to be truly impressive work. A lot of hard work in every possible regard. I do think this episode is going to be one of the finest ever done on their show.

New section

To clarify, I will go over a couple fights I did consider in some way. There's no way anyone could fully cover every huge request fights on the internet.

Honestly, stuff like Dumbledore vs Gandalf was pretty obvious whose going to win. I don't think there's enough demand right now to do Monkey D. Luffy vs Naruto Uzumaki right now. But like Dumbledore vs Gandalf, that fight would be obvious whose going to win. Same goes for Piccolo or Vision vs Martian Manhunter.

I do see people requesting Judge Dredd vs The Punisher often. I still don't think it's big enough to get in the season. Goku vs Superman Round 3 isn't going to happen during this season for two great reasons.

1. They already made two previous episodes that had the same victor

2. The entire point of Season 8 is doing their current biggest requests in a season

I strongly felt that would've been a major insult to the team having to doing the episode. They won't remake episodes like Ben 10 vs Green Lantern because it just wouldn't matter in the first place. I do think Cloud vs Link episode should get remastered for some choppy animations on Cloud's model.

I nearly went with Mumm-Ra but it's not an easy list to make. Of course, everyone wants Mumm-Ra to face Skeletor which would be way more interesting than their nemesis' fight. I am sure even it doesn't happen in Season 8, it's going to happen regardless.

Black Adam is likely going to show up soon on the show. Most likely against Apocalypse from Marvel being some unique animation fight. I didn't go with it for two great reasons. But I do like the concept of this particular fight.

1. Apocalypse's shape shifting ability can recreate any power he wants

2. I don't think the demand is big enough for this yet

The Lizard vs Killer Croc is another obvious winner fight. Same goes for Scarecrow vs Mysterio plus that request isn't big enough to be in Season 8. Duke Nukem vs Serious Sam also quickly follows in that category as well.

Doomguy aka Doom Slayer vs Master Chief rematch, honestly as much I would love to see this happen. I don't think it will be that different from their previous episode. Also, I don't think the demand for it despite being a long time isn't big enough.

Homer vs Peter already technically happened in an episode of Family Guy. I totally agree why a lot of people want this. But I just see more potential as well as surprises for Bart vs Cartman respectively.

I do notice people still requesting The Joker vs Green Goblin. It is so incredibly obvious who wins yet more people kept requesting this fight. Even if the demand was big enough, there's no way they are going to do it during Season 8.

To sum up, I went with mostly requested fights that had the greatest potential. Maka vs Ruby was already confirmed to happen in the near future. It could be Season 8 or the following season. I didn't pick it simply because this turned out to be a huge stomp in favor of Maka and Soul.

I rather go for fights that's more interesting to figure out who wins rather than those too obvious. I don't think this upcoming season going to do much joke fights. I hope this gives fellow DB fans an idea how I personally view all of this.

Top 7 2020 Games I Played

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I haven't been doing something like this in years. Mostly due to some of my choices had content coming out following their release or not enough money to get them. I finally can do a list of a particular games I played that came out the same year. To be honest, I will be ranking from the worst to the best in my opinion.

I ended up doing most of Saints Row: The Third Remastered not long after New Years. But it did get started very late 2020. I have played through all seven of these games. Mostly great content with some not quite up to part.

7. Resident Evil 3 remake

I know shocker this got the bottom spot. A quick summary is the game itself simply a missed opportunity.

6. River City Ransom

To clarify, this classic NES game was ported to a few platforms including Xbox One. The game itself was done in two ways. Sadly, everything else relating to the game was poorly done in comparison.

5. Doom 64

This is a canon Doom game that went under the radar for a lot of Doom fans. The newer version includes a new second, shorter campaign to help tie in to the newer Doom games. I would say for a port this cheap, I had a great time playing it.

I do want to point out, I originally gotten this on Xbox One. A few months later, I ended up buying it on Steam. I was very surprised how well it plays on my computer especially with my controller.

4. AVGN 1 & 2 Deluxe

It's no surprise that this game would be this high on my list. I'm a huge AVGN fan, I was very happy with the changes. I really enjoyed the new bonus third game included. Some of the finest jokes by far are in this game.

3. Battletoads

I personally enjoyed this game's weird sense of humor. It does a great job keeping things refresh with game play styles. I actually felt this was a great reboot to a forgotten franchise.

2. Saints Row: The Third Remastered

The art style was revamped in this version. Very faithful to the original game in every possible way. Easily, one of the finest remastered games so far in this upcoming decade.

1. Streets of Rage 4

It's no surprise that my number 1 choice had to be Streets of Rage 4. There's so many ways this could've easily failed. Instead, it ended up being a very solid return of a classic franchise. Easily, one of the finest beat em up games I ever played period.

My thoughts on Saints Row: The Third Remastered

On January 4th 2021, I gotten an 100% completion for that game a fourth time. But for the first time, I also gotten every achievement. I put a lot of works in the last few days to achieve this. I done it before with Saints Row IV: Re-Elected on PS4. Very likely going to to do it again on it's Xbox One counterpart soon.

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, this will be a long blog. I will link my review of the game shortly. As many of you know I'm a huge Saints Row fan. I absolutely enjoy these games for a long time now. I was surprisingly able to get Saints Row: The Third Remastered during Christmas. I also got nearly caught up on Saints Row series for Xbox One.

https://jackred1989.blogspot.com/2017/04/jack-red-reviews-saints-row-series.html

Very recently, I gotten an 100 % completion for this game officially the fourth time. It is not often I do that, now I still got a lot of remaining stuff to do. But I just want to talk about my thoughts how I felt about this more recent version of a timeless classic. Honestly, it was beautifully remade with the art design receiving the biggest changes.

It is even more notable than Saints Row IV: Re-Elected in comparison. I should point out it may claim to have every dlc included. Both Bloodsucker Pack and Unlockable Pack are excluded. To be fair, both of those are also not included in some versions of Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package. Personally, Bloodsucker made it too easy in the beginning while Unlockable does take away from the overall experience.

A lot of people are fine just getting all rewards from one side of those decisions. Even more didn't like they had a dlc to cheating those decisions by giving you the other rewards as well. So I totally understand why both of those got excluded from this version. Regardless, everything else dlc wise is present here in full.

Keep in mind, a different team fully recreated the game for PC, Xbox One and PS4 respectively. I have to give them respect for nailing it this well. I am very impressed how faithfully it truly is. I had a few crashes but those were distance in comparison to both Dead Rising 2 games remastered versions. Which was much more common to happen.

They did remove a few achievements mostly the online coop ones. Thus, it is even more possible to get every achievement/trophy in this game. Very similar to how Saints Row IV: Re-Elected was done in that regard. I personally didn't own a Nintendo Switch neither it's port of the game, I still heard mixed things about it.

I would say for a game of this style it is one of the best remastered I played of this upcoming decade so far. Saints Row: The Third Remastered is a work of art maybe that's just me. They even kept a radio channel that's Adult Swim which got me by surprise due to being more licensed than channels with licensed songs.

I did notice some weird somewhat funny glitches as I was playing. Mostly getting into vehicles or when a homie does lol. Like when I jumped straight into a vehicle. Suddenly my character was standing upwards moving a little bit to sorta bounce away from the vehicle. This is a beautifully done remastered that I hope another Saints Row game in the near future.

Why Monkey D. Luffy would win against Naruto Uzumaki on Death Battle?

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, surprisingly Naruto fans are demanding Naruto vs Luffy episode. Honestly, that's a horrible idea following Rock Lee's episode. I am not going to say this fight going to be a stomp because it technically is. I will better explain my view on this particular fight later on. I will just be linking one Luffy feat section to speed things up.

This link covers up to the conclusion of Big Mom's Arc. Just prior to Wano Arc aka Kaido's Arc.

https://www.reddit.com/r/respectthreads/comments/8ghlsj/respect_monkey_d_luffy_one_piece/

I don't want to explain what I already explained about Haki previously.

https://jackred1989.blogspot.com/2020/11/why-sanji-would-win-against-rock-lee-on.html

First off, Haki has a lot going for it even stuff people like Luffy has. Thanks to his fight with Sweet Commander Katakuri inside the mirror world. Luffy adapted his haki to being able to see into the future. Not only that, all of his Fourth Gear forms heavily uses haki as well in multiple ways. In durability, a kick by Doflamingo that previous sent Luffy flying was useless against Fourth Gear Bouncy Man.

Obviously, Luffy packs a lot more raw power in these forms as well. His stats are notably higher in every category. Fourth Gear Snake Man is a speed variation that has a rather unusual attack patterns. Fourth Gear Tank Man was mostly when Luffy was stuffed from eating. Despite this, he still was very durable.

I do need to point out, a lot of food will quickly get used up for more experienced haki users. Yes, this has it's pros as well as cons. Death Battle already metered Sanji to being thirteen times the Speed of Light. Which is still far faster than any Naruto character has ever gotten in canon. Luffy also fought against abilities Naruto haven't fought before.

I am not say Luffy won every fight because he didn't. He still has some impressive feats even from early One Piece that's worth mentioning. Luffy's body is made out of rubber after eaten the Gum-Gum Fruit. By default to prevent any confusion. Most devil fruit users may not be able to swim. But they do gain superhuman stats with whatever their power is.

Therefore, Luffy as a child likely one of the physically strongest in his village. He once pulled a mast of a ship off by himself. Luffy also shown to match whoever he wants to beat down. Which could occur during this fight give or take. Naruto using his shadow clone jujutsu is abusing his energy output as well to attempt over whelming his enemies.

The problem is unlike Ichigo, Luffy can use haki to quickly figure out which one is the real Naruto or foreseen what almost happened to quickly prevent it. Like during a prison chaos incident that involved Emperor Big Mom earlier to that moment. Luffy held his own against a lot of big name characters. He currently the fifth Emperor of the Sea with eight ships so far under his command.

Due to his body being made out of rubber, such techniques to knocking him out quietly won't work. His entire body can stretch that does differ in which form he's using. Like Fourth Gear Snake Man's case, his stretching arm actually increases speed while in chasing a target. Yes I know, Naruto do technically has a healing advantage as well as a bigger overall energy output.

I still don't think those matter for a great reason. Not including the brief periods he wasn't fighting Katakuri, Luffy fought him for several hours on his own. He was actually able to wear him down enough for this long drawn out fight to become a surprisingly fair conclusion to a fight. This by itself means Luffy has greater levels of endurance in comparison.

Jack Red reviews Agents of Mayhem

Happy New Years everyone, I apologize this would've been my last review of 2020. Now it is going to be my first review of 2021 instead. I am not going to hide I made out like a bandit this past Christmas. I gotten a huge Saints Row purchase which does include Agents of Mayhem with every dlc. I didn't play much of it through Game Pass but it was one of the last games I finished in 2020.

I do want to point out my views on Steam version to Xbox One version is vastly different. I couldn't even properly get the Steam version to work. I ended up refunding it being one of a handful of times I done so.

Agents of Mayhem is virtually an alternate universe version of Saints Row. Instead of a street gang that became a corporation to the very people running the United States. We have an organization called M. A. Y. H. E. M. which is short for Multinational AgencY Hunting Evil Masterminds. Usually in Saints Row series with the possible exception of Gat out of Hell, you play as just one character.

Here you get fifteen agents to play as. Which also means all of them have their own leveling process. A better way of saying it is sometimes being one person whose op can get boring. Why not give us a lot of op characters instead lol. Of course, you have to work at leveling up in this game to a degree. There is a weird addition where using these crystal shards after a character reached level 20.

You can use twenty crystal shards to level them up to level 40. But in the game itself it looks like 20 on one side with 20 on the other side of characters you fully leveled. As if they weren't allowed to call it level 40 for some reason. Just like later Saints Row games, it does get crazy & ridiculous in many ways. I should mention four of these agents so happen to be Saints Row characters.

The actual canon of this game is a bit of a weird case. It technically follows after Gat out of Hell but takes place in a very different place in another universe. There's so much you can do just like Saints Row series. It's hard to classified exactly what to call this game to Saints Row series when it's the only entry game.

Personally just going by a few select things like pop culture references, super hero theme and outrageous humor. I would say this game is more of a spiritual successor to Saints Row IV. You often face members of L. E. G. I. O. N. that's an evil organization bend on ruling the world as well as taking out the other organization.

I could argue in some ways they are worse than Zinyak but better than Satan is that makes any real sense. I loved some cut scenes are beautifully drawn. You actually can feel the craziness of this world through the characters. This game surprisingly creative in a few ways. Honestly, it is a surprise hit from Volition that more people needs to play.

I do need to mention, most agents are within teams of trios. Obviously Gat is my favorite Saints Row character. But since this is Agents of Mayhem, I need to pick a particular character who really got my attention. This may not come as a surprise to those who know me well. I have to go with Oni, he was a former Yakuza member.

He heavily works on taking threats out quickly as well putting fear into his enemies. He also gets some nice outfits as well including a Joker reference outfit. I do enjoy the map system, I just wish they done it slightly more in a few ways to Saints Row series. A great example of what I'm talking about is trying to find crystal shards.

They only show up on the map if you're within the radius of an location. So if I moved in any direction just enough, suddenly I don't see some of them while other crystal shards shows up instead. I do like you can unlock locations on the map as an alternate instead of just going to The A. R. K. building.

This game is very friendly when it comes to achievement hunting as well. There's a great soundtrack with some great voice acting. Some jokes are cornier than others but it's still a great time. This really does feel like a super hero team version of Saints Row I'm not kidding. I do need to talk about the boss fights.

I won't fully cover all of them since that would take too long. Some of them in some way you'll face again. They did make them notably different from each other. You do explore a lot of Legion lairs but most of them to me comes off being so similar that I felt like I kept redoing the same ones again. The secret room to a secret room is randomized in location.

I mention that for a few reasons. Why have another secret room connected to a secret room isn't one enough? Also, these lairs will take some time to explore. So a large amount of the time you won't even notice the first secret room unless you knew what you're looking for. This game is like a mix between an acid trip & getting piss drunk at times.

I wouldn't say that's necessary a bad thing either. They clearly put a lot of work into this. Agents of Mayhem is a solid experience if you're willing to give it a try. Especially you played the Saints Row games but always was curious about this. It is worth checking out honestly, it's a great game. This is just enough to be it's own game from those of Saints Row series.
