Which licensed survivors I would love to see in Dead by Daylight?

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I realized I haven't given much attention to the survivor side of Dead by Daylight. I figured since I do so happen to have some great choices which survivors I would love to see in this game. Keep in mind, this is strictly my opinion only. I will be naming a couple often thrown out by the fan base with a few you might not see coming.

1. Sam & Dean Windchester (Supernatural)

Why wouldn't you want two hunters that virtually hunted anything you could possibly imagine? These two brothers has literately been through Hell many times. Even limiting them down to most survivors, they still got stuff they could rely on to help them against the threats inside the fog. I would even say they're among the toughest of the survivors if they ever show up.

2. Sidney Prescott (Scream series)

One of my top choices for a licensed survivor has to be Sidney Prescott. I know what a lot of you are likely going to say. We already have Ghost Face, yes we do but it's an original character with a licensed mask then later costume. Therefore, they still haven't brought in Scream. Honestly, she is a survivor I deeply respected for a long time.

3. Ellen Ripley (Alien series)

Who the hell doesn't want Ellen Ripley in a game like this? I am well aware that's a lot of games based on that franchise including a couple multiplayer games. In a way, it just means more bringing that franchise into Dead by Daylight. But also Ripley was the expert on killing Xenomorphs longer than anyone else.

4. Andy Barclay (Child's Play/Chucky series)

Of course, I would love to play as Andy in this. You can't have Chucky without Andy. No one fits the role more perfectly. Andy started in this as a six year old boy now a full grown man holding his own. He always been Chucky's biggest enemy. This guy knows Chucky well enough to see right through a trick like the one at the end of Curse of Chucky.

5. Reggie (Phantasm series)

I have to go more Reggie than Mike here. Reggie has the nostalgic quadruple custom shotgun. Obviously he won't be bringing that with him. He played a big yet confusing role in the final Phantasm movie. He is sorta the guy you want to keep you safe. After all, they were facing The Tall Man who had an army of the dead under his command.

6. Clear Rivers (Final Destination series)

Here's how I went about choosing a survivor in a franchise where most victims dies by Death itself. Clear was lucky enough to survive the original movie to die near the end of the second movie. I have to say she does know some stuff that could help the survivors against these threats. She even got herself committed away on purpose to protect herself.

7. Doomguy (Doom series)

I know a lot of people would question this for many reasons. Doomguy has a long history of facing Hell to always come out on top. Now that's a very rare kind of person. Someone who would be difficult for the killers to bring down. Obviously, Doomguy won't be using anything maybe a few power ups if possible but that's it.

8. Torque (The Suffering series)

Now a more darker choice of a survivor. Torque killed his own family with some rather unusual stuff happening close by him. He could transform into a demonic creature. He won't be able to use anything from that series if he ever shows up. The fact, he had to take on a good variety of terror on his own does speak volumes.

9. Doug Dunaheiw (Blackbay Asylum)

Probably my weirdest licensed survivor choice. Doug Dunaheiw was a serial killer that ended up giving his life to saving the world. He had to go through some strange situations including a particular one too disgusting to even mention. I do think Doug would help against the killers since he himself was one to begin with.

10. Kirsty Cotton (Hellraiser series)

Let's be honest, these movies doesn't exactly follow the canonical design at all. Kirsty survived two movies early in this franchise. I do sadly need to mention Hellraiser: Hellseeker since she returns. She made a deal that cost five people their lifes. Now even if we ignore this version of her. She already proven herself a great choice among the survivors.

11. Julie James (I Know What You Did Last Summer series)

She is usually the target of The Fisherman. She loss a lot of friends to this guy. She has proven to hold her own against this killer. Honestly, she should be at least among the consideration of the fan base. I know a couple characters I already deserve it more than her. I just felt she too would bring something to the table in her own right.

12. Cody Ingalls (Leprechaun series)

Another weird choice but not many characters fit the description the team would be looking for. Cody got stuck in what used to be a love triangle but more of a horrific love square of death. The Leprechaun kidnapped his girlfriend to marry her. Cody learned a great deal how to deal with him. I would even say he would be Andy Barclay of Leprechaun series.

Now I am aware newer Doom games allows players to temporary turn into demons. I strongly felt this man had to rely heavily on himself to survive. Especially against ridiculous odds even for FPS standards. I do see how he would fit in even he ends up showing up alone. After all, he did cameo in a Tony Hawks game with the actual skater considered to guest star in the game it might happen.

Tips on How to get Adept Nurse achievement (Dead by Daylight)

Officially gotten it on May 29, 2020. For me, this was the single most challenging adept killer achievement yet. I did take some advice from people on how to play as her better. I just hope my tips on how to get this works well enough for you too to getting Adept Nurse achievement/trophy. I put a lot of attempts on & off for this particular adept killer achievement alone.

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I finally gotten the last default killer of Dead by Daylight: Special Edition done with adept killer achievement. This was very difficult to pull off, I can't fully explain it. I recommend you give her a try to even get an idea how I felt for awhile. For me, she was the single most difficult killer to play as.

I recommend the essential stuff I usually say in these blog entries. Pay attention to how the survivors interact with each other. You need to do a lot of chasing while nailing some blows on them. Do not use mori or it will take away from the necessary points you'll need to get this. When two survivors are left, do your best to downing them.

I highly recommend you quickly find the hatch. You need to sacrifice someone even if it's their last hook. You still need to hurry to the hatch to close it. Doing so, you either need to search the ground or they had something to get themselves back up. Regardless, in the event of the later happening. Do your best to prevent which exit gate they're more likely going for.

Simply knowing this will save you a lot of time especially if you end up being correct. You also need to get use to a difficult usage of teleporting. I am not going to lie this isn't exactly The Hag or Freddy. Even doing it at close range can end up not going well around 75% of the time I'm not kidding. You'll lose even more control on longer teleporting.

Which also can send you into the basement, through the exit gates when they're close or up high somewhere. The Nurse does have some great add ons to help increase your chances. Strangely all three perks sorta helps you out in different ways. Stridor just makes any sound from the survivors louder than usual depending the tier that perk is.

Thanatophobia effects every survivor on repairing, healing and sabotage speeds. Again how much is determine by the tier that perks is on. I think the most helpful perk has to be A Nurse's Calling. You can use this to track survivors to a degree. If you are lucky, you might get land a surprise attack at them before they realize it in time.

Her teleporting ability is flawed in another sense as well. She will become stun even following hitting a survivor. This will cause her to look down for a few seconds. Keep in mind, The Nurse by default is actually one of the slowest killers in the game. Now getting Adept Nurse requires a lot of patience. It also requires quickly getting down her teleporting.

Yes, you can use that ability to speed up to a degree between the generators or the exit gates. The Nurse requires to be handle in a particular way. There is an add on to give you an additional blink that works with teleporting. She will make some noises but it's not as bad as some killers though. I got to be honest, it took a lot of me to even getting this done.

The Nurse is without question the most difficult to master for a killer with teleporting. Thankfully, her teleporting can help getting around looping to a degree. It is still difficult to try staying on top of a survivor during a chase. I recommend learn what you can from playing as her, this could take a long time.

My thoughts on Dead by Daylight Chapter 16: Silent Hill reveal

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, before I get to the topic at hand here. I wanted to give a quick look back where my head was at prior to the actual announcement. Early on, I thought it might've been ChromeSkull from Laid to Rest series. Then I went mostly towards Dracula & Pinhead respectively closer to that reveal.

I was very mind blown Chapter 16 turned out to be a crossover with Silent Hill series. I felt they chosen one of the best choices for a survivor. Hands down , they went with the perfect killer from that universe. My personal favorite Silent Hill monster of all time. Pyramid Head is truly terrifying for those who haven't been around Silent Hill games or seen both Silent Hill movies.

Cheryl Mason is clearly the character following the ending of Silent Hill 3 when she chose to be called Cheryl again. Pyramid Head is a little more mysterious. He used to be the executioner of the town of Silent Hill. This creature became virtually like a darker version of Judge Dredd. In the regard of he acts solely as judge, jury and executioner of your sins.

Cheryl originally was a little girl that went missing in the town of Silent Hill. She turned out to be Harry Mason's adopted daughter. She also turned out to be connected to another character often seen as a god named Alessa Gillespie. Her past can be a bit confusing to undercover. Now how I truly felt about this reveal.

I was deeply not expecting they would actually bring Silent Hill into this. I also didn't know in Japan, the publisher of Dead by Daylight was in fact Konami. Pyramid Head is a ruthless killer that can kill you very easily. His great knife is heavier than a car making his weapon technically the heaviest in the game.

His signature weapon is one of the most popular in horror video games ever. This creature has a deep concept that sadly Konami doesn't know how to use properly. They kept using it in questionable ways. I would even dare to say the movies used the character better. Pyramid Head comes from another plain of existence.

He technically would be a cenobite from Hellraiser universe. I can actually reference a great point that one of the endings in Silent Hill: Homecoming. Alex gets forced into becoming an Pyramid Head. This isn't that different from being an cenobite in that universe. I also loved how they choice to make more powerful than ever in a way that makes sense.

Pyramid Head is a durable being that has a lot stronger than he appears to be. I am very happy they chosen his original SH2 appearance as his default look. I wouldn't mine seeing his movie look getting into the movie in some form. I felt just looking at him would bring out fear in people. The additional stuff he's getting here would make him one of the strongest killers in the game.

I felt Cheryl surviving two games with Harry trying to find her most of SH1 is still more than most protagonists in that franchise. I felt she had the deepest secret out of them all. Not to mention, they might allow some of her alternate outfits that aren't copy right easter egg of gaming magazines. I do think she was a great choice considering how SH3 was difficult mentally for her.

Let's be honest, we needed more psychological brought into Dead by Daylight. But done in a different way meaning Silent Hill was a great choice. I knew when Resident Evil: Resistance's release, no one from Resident Evil series was coming. I figured in their minds, if we couldn't get the king of survival horror.

:Let's go for their biggest rival, Silent Hill instead. Personally, the fact when this chapter officially gets released. Once again, both those franchises are going against each other just like the old days. Pyramid Head having an alternative method of capturing survivors is already crazy enough. I just found out, he also has two different moris too.

He is the first of a particular type of killers that can directly alter parts of the map. Just enough making it difficult to escape even at a distance. I felt this chapter is going to be very worthy indeed. I couldn't pick a better horror game license that matches perfectly with parts of Dead by Daylight. Honestly, I am very excited to see both of them coming to this amazing game.

Bonus a meme I made a few hours after the announcement. But I thought of it during this live stream. I just hope you do laugh or at least understand how I'm viewing it right now.

Jack Red reviews a lot of Pac-Man games

Warning this will be a very lengthy blog entry. I recommend take as many breaks as possible. This is for fellow Pac-Man fans like myself.

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I always been a huge fan of Pac-Man since my child hood. The original Pac-Man is the most successful arcade game of all time, yes even above Street Fighter II. A few days ago, Pac-Man reached his 40th anniversary. Steam in his honor are currently doing a longer period than normal for his games.

I should point out, I'm also reviewing Pac-Man games I played away from the PC. I figured it is finally time to talk about Pac-Man. I should go all out on it, after all he was the original gaming mascot. Yes even before Mario was called Mario early on in his existence. Pac-Man is nostalgia as well as clever that's very appealing to most people of all ages.

1. Pac-Man (1980)
Pac-Man's shape was inspired by a pizza missing a slice true story. His goal is to eat the dots while avoiding four ghosts. It sorta reminds me of something more recent in reverse. When you eat a power pallet, temporary these ghosts turn blue allowing Pac-Man to eat em up. Remember, a lot of arcade games of it's era didn't have an end at all.

Although, if you played good enough taking a lot of patience as well as skill. You might be lucky to reach stage 256 aka the famous glitch stage. Where half the stage is glitched up making it more difficult than normal to play. However if you do beat this stage, the game will freeze. So in a weird sense, it does have an ending just not what you were expecting.

Pac-Man must navigate through a series of mazes. The basic layout never changes but the usage of power pallets becomes more strict with how long it'll last. Not to mention, the ghosts' AI will increase during your time playing. Pac-Man is a game of skill that is rather simple in it's overall design. Everything about it still amazingly holds up by today's standards.

2. Pac-Man Plus (1982)
This is one of a few Pac-Man games to not originally be made by Namco now Bandai Namco. This is an updated version of the classic arcade game, Pac-Man. Some of the in game eatable stuff is altered into stuff like a can of Coca Cola. I would have to say this game if you struggle in the original version will wipe the floor with you.

Pac-Man Plus I played through a particular Jakks Pacific Pac-Man device. Sometimes, eating food could also act as a power pallet. It is normally done in a different color from the original game. This might be the version of Pac-Man, some of the greatest Pac-Man gamers can't beat. This game is virtually similar to the original but also keeps the challenge going while changing a few stuff.

3. Ms. Pac-Man (1982)
There is a crazy story related to our next Pac-Man game. Originally a group of students created a rom hack of Pac-Man called Crazy Otto. But Midway requested to change it which led to the creation of Ms. Pac-Man. She is one of the very major female video game protagonists in gaming, Unlike Pac-Man, she gets a few different maze designs.

It is still an ongoing debate either this or the original Pac-Man being the greatest Pac-Man game ever made. Keep in mind, Namco didn't originally create this making Ms. Pac-Man a rare unique scenario. We got a faithful sequel that eventually became officially known as a sequel to Pac-Man. Personally, I kinda like Ms. Pac-Man a little bit more.

Not only you get a few maze designs. I also love her cut scenes in between some stages more. The music is just as good as the original Pac-Man. This is one of the absolute greatest video game sequels I ever played. This game took Pac-Man then made the real improvements to making it to me more of a classic.

4. Pac-Man Fever (2002)
Of course, Pac-Man had to have his own party game. Sadly, it is just isn't as good as the older Mario Party games. Although, the roster of playable character is still kinda interesting but also weird at the same time. Despite Pac-Man's name in the title, most of the roster is pulled from other franchises. You can buy mini games you can play.

Instead of collecting stars like in Mario Party series. You are collecting redemption tickets. You need these to buy the mini games. Whoever reaches the goal first wins the game. Sadly, it doesn't do anything to help separate it from Mario Party series. Overall, it could be fun for a little while but quickly loses that appeal.

5. Super Pac-Man (1982)
Surprisingly following two releases that wasn't their own in the same year. The original team made their own sequel called Super Pac-Man. I absolutely love this game with an passion. Imagine Pac-Man on steroids lol I'm not kidding. You navigate through easier mazes but you must collect keys to unlock sections of stuff you can eat.

Alternately, you can eat a super power pallet that turns Pac-Man into a faster giant version of himself. This version can bypass locked sections thus you could speed run the hell out of it. Yes, you are still avoiding the four ghosts. There is now bonus stages where you try to eat as much as possible within the time limit.

I love the cut scenes in this game too. Super Pac-Man felt like an simpler attempt on the classic concept with a few great changes. The regular power pallets are still in play. While as Super Pac-Man, you can extend that power up by eating either a super or regular power pallets. The speed Pac-Man goes alone is mind blowing.

6. Pac & Pal (1983)
Pac & Pal is one of the rarest Pac-Man game in existence. You are Pac-Man collecting keys to unlock sections. But the stages are smaller with a new character trying to take items & food away. This also includes your special items that temporary gives Pac-Man additional abilities to defend himself. You must do a few cards at a time or it won't add anymore.

There is also a safe zone that's colored in orange. Although the ghosts can enter it as well. There is a different style bonus stages where you collect as much money as possible. Without finding a ghost, but you have no way to know in advance which spots would likely be the ghost. Which means every time you play these bonus stages, you're going in blind.

I should mention, the special items do reference some of Namco's franchises. Personally, this is a very nice touch than just a power pallet. You also know you got it when Pac-Man turns sorta sky blue for a short period of time. It is possible for your specials to run out even before you use em. There is a lot of strategy involved this time.

7. Pac-Land (1984)
Pac-Land is an unusual style Pac-Man game. Instead of navigating mazes to eat dots like normal. You probably think of what I'm about to say as a joke but no this is a real Pac-Man game. This is a platformer that can be strict to a degree. Like trying to make some jumps requires you to risk getting hit while keeping the speed up.

The moment you stop with the additional speed, it's gone. Also some of the mechanics in the platforming department isn't like well Super Mario Brothers on NES. Even the creator of Mario said this game inspired Super Mario Brothers. You also can collect food on the way but that to requires on point jumping.

The ghosts are a little more creative this time around. Almost like they taken ideas from classic cartoons. You know the ones where the bad guys constantly come up with stupid ideas that blows up right in their faces. Some of the ghosts drive cars while others pilots air planes & using a pogo stick? Obviously, this bags a lot of questions.

I'll go right for the number 1 question here how can a ghost do any of these realistic? Yes I know it's a franchise with an unusual character being chased by ghosts. Now that already doesn't need much explaining. But aren't ghosts not in the same plain of existence. Therefore, them being able to do stuff like those is breaking reality rules.

Pac-Land got a sequel with a somewhat misleading title called Pac-Man 2: The New Adventure. Which came out around a decade later. A lot of gamers doesn't even know about Pac-Land. So when they come across this game either through a store, flea market or researching online. The very first thing they likely think is it's a sequel to the original Pac-Man.

I should mention, another recurring problem you'll likely face. When you run out of time, unless you are close enough to the end of a stage. The game delivers a fatal blow taking one of your lifes away by directly sending a ghost after you. Some arcade games has a similar mechanic to prevent someone staying on the game for too long.

8. Pac-Mania (1987)
Pac-Mania has an unique appearance to the classic arcade game. It also has it's own cut scenes telling us, this is indeed it's own game. Pac-Man can now jump that can be used in many ways. Like directly avoiding a ghost too close by you or quickly get to a power pallet or use a speed boost. When you see a speed boost towards ghosts, they are temporary stunned.

Yes, the mazes do change keeping this game fresh to help preventing it getting boring & repetitive. I also liked how the screen scrolls when you go further than you are use to in a Pac-Man game of that era. Pac-Mania is an interesting take on the concept that a lot of people would enjoy. It also could be seen as another potential speed runner game.

9. Pac-Attack (1993)
I played this through Pac-Man Museum. Which turned out to be Sega Genesis version. I am already happier since I'm a huge fan of that console. Pac-Attack is a puzzle that uses blocks & Blinky in particular as the ghosts. You also get access to Pac-Man who will eat the ghosts in a path he goes in. Sometimes, it's difficult to tell how he would move.

You also can fill up a fairy meter I'm not kidding that's what the game calls that meter. In order to directly take out all the ghosts currently in play. The interesting part is unlike many similar puzzle games of that time. Pieces will automatically move into places even in spots they won't in stuff like Tetris or Columns.

It might not look like fun but this game quickly becomes addicting. There's a few modes of play too but I still prefer out of respect Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Pac-Attack is a great spin off game that a lot of people needs to play. It is surprisingly easy to learn at a fast pace. I would say it does an amazing job in every category.

10. Pac-Man Championship Edition (2007)
Pac-Man Championship Edition is a rather unique take on the classic format. The mazes are smaller but among getting every dot on a side will alter the layout of those dots. Which could include power pallets as you play within a time limit. I think the biggest time limit you could go is ten minutes. I should mention, bonus stuff likely appears more often.

You still have to avoid the four ghosts as you play. The game actually moves at a notably faster speed it makes games like Super Pac-Man seem slow in comparison. I got to be honest, I really loved their usage of colors. Both me and my wife do have an artistic taste in things. There is plenty of modes to keep challenging your skills.

Pac-Man Championship Edition is hands down one of the best Pac-Man games ever. It stays incredibly faithful to it but at the same time doing it in a way that's very refreshing. Some people even consider this a true sequel to the first couple Pac-Man games, it is that good. Honestly, this is one I recommend you play early in Pac-Man Museum.

11. Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ (2010)
A follow up to Pac-Man Championship Edition. Can you imagine the previous Championship Edition being a challenge? This makes that game seem like child's play. You wanna know why, you have to deal with a lot of ghosts this time around. Which also leaves to a incredibly satisfying game play. Especially when you ate a power pallet, you'll eat most blue ghosts in a line for a bonus.

Once again, their usage of colors is absolutely mind blowing. Especially when a lot of ghosts are chasing you. I should mention, most of it's dlcs references several classic Namco franchises in some way. Pac-Man also gets bombs to help prevent colliding into ghosts. Like the previous Championship Edition game, you could get a lot of lifes.

This game is a challenge especially for the biggest Pac-Man fans. But it is very addicting to keep on playing the hell out of it. I am not going to lie, I prefer this over many Pac-Man games. Honestly, it is a more refreshing take on a classic concept that likely just as timeless in comparison. It really is that damn good as a Pac-Man game.

12. Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 (2016)
The most recent Pac-Man game I played. I originally gotten this free on Xbox One but later bought it with several Pac-Man games on Steam recently. Now they divide the stages into several sections that ends with a boss fight. You just keep playing avoiding ghosts even during boss fights. This is also a very addicting game to play for fours.

I am still new to the PC version while it works perfectly on Xbox One. Instead of bombs, you get the ability to instantly teleport to your starting point. Of course, it will be limited but sometimes it's helpful like avoiding colliding into a ghost. There is also a variety of styles you play in this too. I would say it's a great follow up but I still prefer DX+ over this.

13. Pac-Man Arrangement (2005)
Pac-Man Arrangement aka 90s version Pac-Man is then modern take of the classic arcade game. It sorta reminds me of Pac-Mania in a few ways. There are a few differences but still faithful to the original game. This was originally in a previous Namco compilation.I still prefer the classic arcade game. But in it's defense, if you somehow couldn't find that version.

This probably would be the next best thing. Unless you prefer Ms. Pac-Man or any Championship Edition games. Pac-Man Arrangement is good for it's time just nothing special. Unlike the classic version, there actually is an ending. Also unlike it, there is plenty of maze designs to keep it interesting. I will say the graphics is better than you expect them to be.

You also get boss stages that wasn't common for the franchise at the time. This is like Pac-Man Plus given way more in the few areas it could've done more in. I have to say this is one of the finest versions of the game. Not a lot of people got to play this though. More recently, it is one of many Pac-Man games included in Pac-Man Museum.

Update: There are two similar titled Pac-Man games. In this case, Pac-Man Arrangement. When I did this review originally, I didn't realize I was actually reviewing the later PSP version. I apologize in advance for that. I do really enjoy this Pac-Man game, not long ago I beaten it.

14. Pac-Man Battle Royale (2011)
Now here's a mind blowing concept for you. It is built on a similar to Championship Edition DX or it's updated version DX+. But they added in something to make it more of a challenge. Can you imagine other players get to control other Pac-Mans? Thankfully they are done in different colors to help tell em apart.

Which means this is mostly a multiplayer, competitive take on the classic concept. Even if you don't play with another person, you still play against one AI by default. It can frustrating to eat another Pac-Man or avoiding many things. This is a lesser known but more recent Pac-Man arcade game. I got to give them credit, this is difficult.

15. Pac-Man Museum (2014)
Pac-Man Museum is a compilation of Pac-Man games. In fact, a good number of these I played very recently for the first time because of it. You can earn stamps from each games by doing certain things. One annoying thing is originally Ms. Pac-Man was a free dlc until a month after it's release. Suddenly, one of the greatest arcade games in the world now costs five bucks.

Although due to the recent deals, I got most of these for virtually dirt cheap. The controls can be a little confusing at times. Like trying to exit some games but not being patience for it could leave to you playing more of that Pac-Man game instead. I do think in many ways, it is a great compilation. But I kinda felt they could've given the franchise more respect.

For me the standard for that has to be Namco Museum games on PlayStation 1. Technically six games with the Encore game being exclusive to Japan. The level of respect in those games alone is virtually mind blowing by today's standards. It took years for some franchises to be given the same treatment. Pac-Man Museum has a mode you sorta move around in a room.

You get ten or eleven if you bought Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man games in one compilation. I wish I had a compatible controller. I have to use the keyboard but the moving controls for that is perfect. Keep in mind, parts of the controls do differ in these games. Honestly, Pac-Man is here to stay. Easily, one of the most inspiring arcade video game characters of all time.

Bonus section

I know I'm late to say this but Happy 40th Anniversary Pac-Man. You bought many people including myself plenty of hours filled with joy. Clearly, time isn't even slowing you down. You are legendary even among video game characters. Your franchise is such an unique concept that can be done in many possible ways.

Update
I forgot about Pac-Man 256 but I am playing more of it. Very soon I'll make a review of it. I know a bit late to the big party now.

If I'm correct I now know who will be the next killer coming to Dead by Daylight

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I recently piece several things together. I strongly believe we are going to get Count Dracula himself in this truly amazing game. Don't worry I'll explain how I came with this conclusion. I am very hype even if I end up being wrong about this. Dracula is one of my personal favorites ever.

Not long ago, they got a deal with Netflix to doing an Stranger Things chapter. It so happens Netflix currently has an Dracula show. Their announcement on the theme of the next chapter is on May 26th. For those that doesn't know, it is Dracula Day. On that day back in 1897, the novel Dracula got released.

I could spend hours among hours on everything that has the character or vampires similar to him. So many appearances in pop culture alone would be very difficult to track them all down. This is no question, Dracula has the reputation their hint about being iconic. Dracula is virtually everywhere with some of the greatest actors of all time portraying him.

I predict Dracula likely be named The Vampire, The Count or The Darkness depending on portrayals. Dracula would easily be one of the absolute worst among all The Entity's killers to go up against. Yes, depending on versions determines which abilities he'll use. I think that also works to his advantage.

Not only that, the same hint about it being an classic character did state. Ever since their original appearance, quickly became an horror icon that's possibly timeless. You would be surprised how many of them that alone cuts. Now considering Dracula Day, not many comes closer to this than Dracula. Alien is only off by a day, difficult to believe I know.

Some of the closest are notably off by a couple of days within the same month. Dracula easily could represent so many things, the team likely going to blow our minds. There is a chance, he might have claws as a weapon or using some of his powers that most versions has. Honestly, Dracula is going to be truly unique even for a licensed character that goes back a little over hundred twenty years.

Update: Dracula is being remade by Blumhouse. This alone is further proof they are going for Dracula. I know a lot of people based on a similar concept with Candyman thought he was coming. Also due to Tony Todd the man who played the character tweeting about his recording sections. I think this is a little too much of a coincidence.

Why Jason Voorhees shouldn't be in Dead by Daylight?

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, as a huge horror movie fan. Of course I know who Jason Voorhees is, the slasher with more kills than anyone including the very character who inspired him Michael Myers. But I just problems the team couldn't fully recover from if he ever shows up in Dead by Daylight. I will explain to the best of my ability why I strongly feel that way.

1. He already has his own game
I already done a review and some comparison blogs of Friday the 13th: The Game. Both of them asymmetrical horror multiplayer games. Therefore, since you can play as one of the survivors or mostly Jason whose the killer. I felt requesting for him to be in DbD is a huge waste of time. Now that game has already done enough justice to it's license alone.

2. The lawsuit
Ever since we first heard about this lawsuit. Almost everything with Friday the 13th's name on it got canceled. So far only the Switch port got released. It is supposedly coming to an end soon. Although, one of the teams already stated regardless of the outcome their game is finished. They aren't going to start adding stuff again following it was exactly their point.

3. We already have a character similar to Jason
Some killers early on are inspired by horror icons with the original killer himself being inspired by Jason himself. The Trapper does have some notable similarities to him especially bringing in Friday the 13th: The Game to this. Both of them wields a huge machete or blade knife that can set traps. Although, the counselors can also do that.

4. We already got the next best thing
To me, if we couldn't get Jason I'm glad they went straight for Michael Myers. Honestly, getting some of the later licensed characters is cherries on top. But I also felt how Michael plays ends up being more interesting in comparison too. A lot better than how Call of Duty treated the character. They even got his theme in place of the usual chase theme during matches too.

5. They would have a difficult time trying to making him different from some of the killers
A major reason why I think that wouldn't work. They were lucky to make Leatherface play just enough differently from The Hillbilly. There are a few killers who can use traps. We also got a lot of blade wielding killers as well.

6. This would ruin one of the biggest horror game debates in history
Let's be honest everyone who knows about these games compares them all the time. Their very concept is very similar even with a lot of changes. Why would they suddenly ruin something that indirectly brought people together like that? Also, he would be cheating the purpose due to already having his own game prior to this anyway.

7. The company behind Dead by Daylight has a long history of licensed games
Both teams responsible for Friday the 13th: The Game didn't fully check the copy rights in advance. Behavior has a lot of licensed games under it's belt to know how exactly this process works. It was clear neither team were very new to the process. Not to mention, Dead by Daylight had to do the same process multiple times in a few years just to add more licensed content.

8. Jason would have a very difficult standing out among the licensed killers
We already got Freddy, Leatherface, Michael, The Pig, The Demogorgon & The Ghost Face. I am aware we're about to get another horror legend added soon. Just based on who we already have. Jason really needs to be done better than them as well as his own game to have a chance here. Otherwise, he'll likely be one of the most hated among the roster for that very reason.

9. Which location would be used for Jason?
There is several locations within Friday the 13th series not counting the show for them to look over. Most of them looks similar since most of them are campsites near a lake. Now I am aware of being on a ship, a spaceship & Manhattan. I don't know how they would go about it. Not to mention, I would think Xenomorph or another space theme horror icon would be better for a space theme map.

10. Which kill would be his mori?
Jason has a very big body count for a slasher. Of course, they got a long list of potential kills. Even limiting him down to just using his machete or his hands would be difficult. Especially, they end up using the undead version of the character. I actually felt the alive version would be more balanced. Regardless which version, some of his likely choices for a mori are already done by some of the killers.

11. Paying for later added costumes would cause a lot of people being upset
Now hear me out on this, we already have a Friday the 13th: The Game that nearly had every version of him in the movies. We were close of fully getting Uber Jason from Jason X as a playable character. Due to being a licensed characters, only Auric Cells can be used to buy him as well as additional stuff. Which means you need to pay with real money in order to get whatever outfit gets added.

12. Some killers had a similar relationship with a parent
The Trapper & Leatherface have a similar relationship to their family. To the point, even doing horrible things for their loyalty. Now Jason does seem to honor his mother long after her death. In fact, at the beginning of Part 2 he killed the very person who killed her. This by itself makes trying to make that part of his story stand out from theirs would in itself be a challenge.

I will be honest if Jason gets into DbD I would be just as upset as Friday the 13th: The Game allowing Roy Burns into the game. I highly doubt Burns would make it to Dead by Daylight. Honestly, horror movies is packed with characters mostly on killer side we could talk for days on. There are a couple notable survivors that still isn't in the game yet like Sidney Prescott from Scream series or Ellen Ripley from Alien series.

Tips on How to get Adept Huntress achievement (Dead by Daylight)

On May 14th, 2020, I gotten Adept Huntress achievement. I will be honest it took me a lot of attempts to getting this particular adept killer achievement. I still wouldn't say it's the hardest but it's up there. I only got a handful of killers left to attempt getting their respective adept killer achievements.

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I played a game that among the first glace looked up I was going to lose quickly. It even came down to one generator left. Thankfully, I continued to stay on top of what they were doing. Don't worry I will take my time to break down how others could get this achievement/trophy.

Obviously you need to attempt this with her original three perks. You also need to pay attention how the survivors are playing. Sadly, her perks won't do much to help you. Territorial Imperative only reveals survivors' auras when they are in the basement while being more than 24 meters away. Hex: Huntress Lullaby gives a regression penalty when survivors fail any Skull Check.

The Huntress Lullaby grows in powers in terms of that song gets shorter. When she sings within a distance from the survivors, they can hear her. This perks makes her singing a bit shorter to prevent detection slightly giving you a little bit more time. Beast of Prey when activated removed your connection from The Entity for a brief period of time.

To sum it up, this means as long it remains activate the survivors can't detect you. The best part is depending on tier of that particular perk gives you bonus blood points in the hunting category. Which would help out in one of the key things you'll need in order to get an adept killer achievement. The Huntress can cover a lot of ranges due to the fact she can throw axes.

It is important to keep the amount of axes up when possible. They could mean the difference of getting that achievement/trophy or you won't. It is critical you get good enough to throw them. This helps cutting chases shorter giving you more time to hunt the other survivors. I should mention, you can lose your bonus blood points if a survivor cleanses your Hex totem.

Thankfully, like the generators by default you'll being able to see the direct location of your Hex totem. You also can use it to get an idea where the survivors could be if you are lucky. Later in the matches, try to use your default axe since you don't know what survivors could be using. I highly recommend you constantly keep moving especially to generators you'll know will be targeted by them.

You can also use throwing axes to prevent getting pallets dropped on you or down a survivor whose a notable distance away. If you are lucky, you might be able to down them without them realizing it in time. Sometimes, survivors can hide inside of lockers. All of them carries spare throwing axes. If you end up directly grabbing the survivor instead of refilling your axes.

Don't worry about it especially if the closest hook isn't far from your location. Most of her add ons makes her basic stuff a bit easier to do. I don't recommend using her perks as much as other killers even with some of their worst perks. Don't count too much on the little stealth you could be getting. Instead focus on getting better with your throwing axes.

Some add ons adds an extra effect among hitting the survivors. It won't change things in your favor but you might be able to slow em down a little bit. The Huntress has a surprisingly short attack range with her default axe. If a survivor about to drop a pallet or hoop over a ledge, you need to attack quicker than normal to hit or caught em.

Although, I actually recommend you go with your throwing axes since in that brief period of time. The survivors can't prevent a said action from happening neither defend themselves. This is your opportunity to screw their chances at escaping over. Also I recommend using an add on that gives you an extra axe.

Doing this would decrease how often you'll need to refill your throwing axes. I will be honest, her three perks aren't going to do much at all to help you here. You really need to bring it during matches because of it. Personally, The Huntress is somewhat growing on me but far from my favorites. The best part is she actually a free dlc character meaning everyone who plays this gets her.

Why I love Dead by Daylight so much?

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, one of my absolute favorite games ever is Dead by Daylight. I always had a passion for horror movies. Even if they didn't do licensed characters, I probably would still love this game. Honestly, this is more or less me explaining why I just can not get enough of it. I will say it will take a great similar experience game to top this one.

The first thing I love about this game is you can be one of four survivors or the killer in any match. More similar concept games are coming. I just felt the survivors having the bare minimal amount to try surviving is genius. So many horror games either gives you so little ammo, too many breakable weapons or simply too much ruining the experience.

But here you could go in with a flash light to possibly blind the killer. You could also use a toolbox to take down hooks or speed up getting the generators running. They also can get rid of particular stuff from some of the killers that mostly affected teleporting. If you go in without any of those you might have to bait the killer away.

There is a lot of strategy without even mentioning how perks affected any match. The possibilities of what either side could go is constantly going up. Most survivors plays alike while most killers plays very differently from each other. They absolutely nail the audio in this game. I actually like most characters you play as on both sides.

I absolutely love the leveling system, this alone is very well done. You can level up while getting helpful stuff on the way. Not to mention, the blood points can be spend on anyone. The game also has a few forms of currency with Auric Cells being only with real money. Yet you could get one of the bigger Auric Cells deals to getting a couple characters at a time.

This feels like a truly unique experience even for a multiplayer horror game. I am very happy with their licensed characters they gotten so far. Yeah, I'm still a bit mixed on The Pig. I also love Rituals as well as challenges within The Archives helps speed up getting the blood points. Of course, the team does do double the blood point events.

I also liked most characters gets a lot of costumes & outfits. It is no secret my favorite original killer so happens to be The Clown. I just felt everything is done amazingly well. I really could play this for hours. This is one of the biggest games with achievements I ever played as well. There's so many ways to have fun in this game.

By the way, I really loved Freddy's rework very well. He plays much better as well as being more faithful to the source material. I am also happy with licensed maps they gotten so far. Honestly, I felt every money I put into this has been worth it. This is clearly a love letter to those who love horror movies or anything horror in general.

Jack Red reviews Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen (Fan Game)

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, now I always wanted to talk more about this particular fan game. I always been a huge horror movie fan. My mind was blown when I found out about Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen. Yes it technically is a Mortal Kombat clone that does stand on it's own. It officially got the last update a few years ago.

Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen is honestly one of the finest MK clones I ever played. This combines MK with horror movies perfectly. Yes, they even used digital actors to represent all playable characters in game. Now they heavily took copy right material. Especially the audio department takes notable classic songs from each franchise.

I do need to point out there's two versions of Jason. You get alive Jason from the first four Friday the 13th movies while the undead Jason covers the rest of the movies. I would even argue they should count as their own version of that character. I love every character has a story. Yes some of them in a few areas could've been done a bit differently.

I am not saying any of the actual stories sucks. The concept is you play as one of many killers to defeat most of the roster to get that character's ending. Every character wants something different that by itself makes the overall experience more interesting. Some horror cameos like The Djinn from Wishmaster, an alien from Species series & Pennywise from IT in the game.

Pennywise was later given a stage where he's the DJ. Yeah imagine the worst being of all killing you by making you dance lol. Every character can do a finisher that usually beheaded your opponent. The combo system is kinda interesting since there is some depth to it. I felt the roster itself was well selected.

Most character gets only one stage to represent their franchise. I do need to clarify something, Ash Williams is a playable character as well. He is the only good guy out of the entire roster. Later versions of this game added a bonus match where you need to take out enough zombies. This at best can be a mixed experience.

You could be cheap hoping to cheat the challenge or try it like normal to end up losing badly. Every character also gets a special move you get a few uses during a match. Like Michael using his sister's tombstone as a weapon. TerrorDrome made sure the stages are beautifully done. To be honest, the closest official game I played to this is Dead by Daylight.

I also liked including two versions of Jason all plays differently. More than I was expecting for a fighting game. Honestly, I absolutely love this game. I also liked the loading screen constantly moves in a loop showing the movie covers. This game is truly impressive in what they achieved here. We got an unofficial fighting game crossover that's way better than Clash of the Monsters.

To clarify, Clash of the Monsters is an official horror movie crossover fighting game. Sadly, they didn't nail even the basic mechanics right. Let's just say despite some of the roster I do like, you just can't compete with Terrordrome's roster. I should mention, you can play this with an controller as well as playing it with other people online.

The developers are very nice people that will listen to you. They are currently working on a sequel that's mostly based on older horror icons as well as some original ones. Honestly, if I'm this impressed by Terrordrome, I really can't wait to play Terrordrome 2. This game comes with a strong recommendation for those who love horror movies in general like myself.

For the record, how they used Freddy, Jason and Leatherface is way better than Mortal Kombat series. Although, Dead by Daylight & Friday the 13th: The Game does an amazing job as well.

Two Bad PS1 Fighting Games

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, of course I grew up around a lot of fighting games. Including similar ones to Mortal Kombat series. But today, I wanted to talk about two in particular bad PS1 fighting games not a lot of people remember. I am just surprised how many YouTube videos there are of both games. You might surprised what both games has in common despite a lot of major differences.

1. Iron & Blood: Warriors of Ravenloft (1996)

Believe it or not, this is a licensed game. More in particular to the famous tabletop game, Dungeons & Dragons. You know a game you & your friends are suppose to use your imagination on the possibilities. A couple episodes of the sitcom The Big Bang Theory did several Dungeons & Dragons episodes.

Most games based on it are mostly RPG or adventure games. Someone decided let's turn that into a fighting game. It may sound great on paper since a couple fighting games done it. There are great similar games that do predate this such as Soul Edge aka Soul Blade. Sadly, the end result is one of those things better left forgotten.

I have to give the game some credit. I actually liked the cover they chosen for the game. Some of the audio department mostly in the music works just enough. There is no home runs though. Depending which character determines which side you'll mostly be facing. To be honest, I do like this concept. Not a lot of fighting games at the time done that.

Instead of a traditional health bar, you & your opponent has a torch representing your health. In a way, I like it because so many loves to see how much fight you got from within you. But the cheapness of the AI is more likely to keep you not paying attention to it. Also how some of these characters fights isn't acceptable in this genre.

You got a few characters that floats who often keep throwing projectiles. The controls is difficult to describe since there isn't much depth to them at all. In a game based on a tabletop game, you kinda expected there would be. The rest of the audio is horribly done. One particular character never shuts up who strangely looks like a smaller Green Goblin from Marvel comics.

I should mention, there's four boss characters. Most fighting games has one sub boss & one final boss for the most part. I don't know many that goes beyond that amount around the release of this game. If Tattoo Assassins got released, I would've counted that. Speaking of them, I have to give credit for making each boss character vastly different from each other.

There is codes to play as the bosses. But some of them are difficult to pull off for the worst reason. I can accept you have to enter em in the character selection screen. A lot of fighting games at the time done that. But how you have to input these particular codes makes it very frustrating. You would lucky to play as the final boss or the boss before him I'm not kidding.

The evil group comes off like a generic Halloween party. A little foreshadowing what's coming next. Some characters are just plain weird. You can play as a dwarf whose missing an arm or this creature that's suppose to be almost like a gargoyle I think. Of course, most of the bosses in their own right are cheap.

Iron & Blood: Warriors of Ravenloft is loosely based on a particular lore from Dungeons & Dragons. I actually grew up with the only Sega Genesis Dungeons & Dragons game. I couldn't get far in that but to me that was much closer to the actual concept than this. Not to mention, you get a few continues before game over.

2. Killing Zone (1996)

Although this gets labeled as a sequel to Battle Monsters on Sega Saturn. This is more or less an unrelated but similar concept fighting game. I think what happened is following Battle Monsters, they knew they weren't going to get far ripping off Mortal Kombat series. So they chose to rip off another fighting game franchise instead.

Soul Edge, now before someone whose a big fan of that franchise confirms anything. The original arcade game does predate both Iron & Blood and Killing Zone by a few years. Not many similar concept weapon based fighting games came before it. Just like Soul Edge & a few 3D fighting games there are ring outs.

For those new to this term, it means you can get knock off the platform during a match. No not like Super Smash Brothers & games ripping that off way either. The actual roster is very generic. You got what mostly could be considered Universal monsters with some touches of Greek mythology. Unlike Iron & Blood, there is no boss.

Killing Zone doesn't use digital actors like Battle Monsters either. You only do a few fights that's it, you could finish it faster than many similar length fighting games. I'm sure some bad ones are a little more satisfying than this. Even Tattoo Assassins had ways to spice things up. Not one stage stands out either, now for fighting game standards that's horrible as well as embarrassing.

Let's be brutally honest here, this game just from it's presentation looks worse than Iron & Blood. The actual characters looks more bland with virtually nothing to make em any form of excitement. I will say it has some songs but the audio department dropped the ball here. I can say the controls are better than Iron & Blood.

The difficulty is a little more fair even with ring outs. This game quickly becomes boring than you constantly losing at a much better fighting game. Yes you'll be piss off but you aren't going to give up until you win. There isn't much to go on for story either. Even Iron & Blood had some story to help paint a picture in our minds.

This is more or less let's just have monsters face each other & call it a day. If I wanted a fighting game with a similar concept. I rather play DarkStalkers series, Killer Instinct series, Soulcalibur series & the fan game Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen. I have a lot more fun playing Dead by Daylight that has some of horror movie villains.

It is amazingly Acclaim has their name on both of these games. Some characters from both games are similar. Obviously different companies as well as developers made both these games. We all can agree both of them sucks even for fighting game standards. We got one that doesn't nail what could've been a great fighting game while the other ends up being lazy in comparison.

I should mention there isn't as many playable characters than in Iron & Blood. There is no hidden characters which might've help things. Now a lot of fighting games doesn't have hidden characters. So that isn't necessarily a strike. But what is a strike is Killing Zone took a fun concept to ended up giving us this diseaster.

I actually played Castlevania: Judgment on Wii, a similar concept fighting game. Although that game sucks too with even worse controls. Some of the characters designs as well as their moves stands out. Yes I do agree there are heavily mixed but I rather have that than flat out generic as crap. They even made a Minotaur boring.

Proof that Killing Zone rips off Soul Edge is Batch whose a Minotaur wields an axe. There is a character who wears animal skin over his head also wielding an axe. Also Drake is like DarkStalkers' Victor poor cousin who didn't have gas money. Without question, DarkStalkers series is way better. Overall, it is generic, boring and quickly took all the fun out.

Tips on How to get Adept Plague achievement (Dead by Daylight)

On May 11th, 2020, I gotten Adept Plague achievement in a rather easy match. No I didn't ask them to throw it to me. They didn't know how to play against The Plague. I remember being in their shoes at one point. I am just surprised this could've been the easiest Adept Killer achievement I ever gotten without question.

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, on and off I been trying to get a few achievements. Among them one of those achievements was Adept Plague. Honestly, I'm alright with the character but I can still give tips to making those attempting this achievement/trophy a bit easier. Keep in mind, this is from my personal experience with that character.

The Plague can cover a lot of range especially if used correctly. Up close, she can strike quickly with her weapon. Not a lot of people realize if you throw up too much on the infected survivor also cause to down em. Which means if you and one of them were stuck in a loop yet you can still throw up at them.

Don't rely too much on that being a possibility. Just when it shows up, consider either throwing up a little above them or if one of the following so happens to be within your range. You can throw up on generators, chests and pallets. Believe it or not, you also can spot some survivors easier from their infection.

On rare occasions, try throwing up at a angle. There is a chance they might not realize thus landing your throw up on em. You also can get them to make disgusting noises even when they're hiding to find em faster. You also can corrupt Pool of Devotion locations around the maps. Thankfully, The Plague can see Pool of Devotions not corrupted.

Why is this so important you are probably wondering? It is the only way a survivor can get cured from The Plague's Vile Purge aka her throw up. The infected can also get others sick making a not great team fall apart much easier. This is only possible if an infected survivor gets Broken status. Otherwise, it isn't as something they need to worry about.

One of her default perks has The Entity covering a couple generators that's a notable distance from you. You can use a survivor's infection from using the same Pool of Devotion they used to cure themselves. This alters Vile Purge into Corrupt Purge. The major differences is it does more damage to the survivors but also doesn't make em sick either.

If you corrupt all Pool of Devotion locations. They will become normal making sickness much easier to deal with. Infectious Fright can be used at times to get an idea where some survivors could be. Of course, it works in close proximity meaning if they aren't within range. You won't see anything after downing a survivor.

Dark Devotion is one of those obsession theme perks among the killers. You hit the obsession, your own terror radius aka what alerts survivors to your presence goes to 0 for a short period of time. Other than that, it isn't a perk I would count on. I hate to say it Corrupt Invention ends up being the very perk I rely on.

A few later killer perks work similar to this particular perk. This gives you a little time to force survivors to go for generators close to your location. This by itself can easily be a double edge sword. On one hand, you will have more ideas where to go to stalk survivors. But on the other, you could be facing a better team that came prepare for almost every killer.

Trust me, I can deal with those using a few killers I'm actually great with. You need to pay attention to how the survivors interactive with each other. This alone can break or make your chance at getting this achievement/trophy. Like most killers, you get add ons that slightly or greatly increase your essential abilities.

I do recommend using slightly unless you only have normal or moderately versions of said add ons. Slightly is a little notable increase in your abilities but at the same time they're easier to use than your default versions. Also keep in mind, The Plague can easily be seen at further distance due to her height as well as how she moves.

I also recommend trying to keep as many survivors as possible infected. Even if it had to be just one survivor per a match. For them to get cured is much quicker than getting reverse beartraps from The Pig off. The Plague does have a long reach from using Vile or Corrupt Purge ability. You also can cause some generators from exposure of your disease to shut down.

You can only have it occur to one generator. It will take awhile before that generator becomes available for survivors to attempt getting back up. It is possible during a match to cause this to happen more than once. This is something you could take advantage of late into a match to further limit the amount of generators, the survivors can go for.

My guesses who the next killer in Dead by Daylight could be by Jack Red

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, thanks to my brother I'll officially back to playing Dead by Daylight for a few months. It was recently confirmed the next killer will be licensed. I seen a couple of stuff related to it that really limits who possibly could be next. I figured since I'm a huge fan of horror movies as well as one of many admins on The History of Horror group on Facebook to throw out some guesses.

This is not in order to clarify. I will take my time explaining stuff about each character before talking about how it might be them coming to the game soon. At least one is lucky going to be it or the worst case scenario it isn't any of them at all. We don't know much to begin with. I will be naming a couple names often thrown around recently.

1. Pennywise (IT)
Previously, they attempted to get him while IT movies were being made. At the time, they got turned down that led to the creation of The Clown. I know a lot of people won't like there would be two clown characters. Pennywise is more in the same boat as Freddy since they could represent any form of fear they want.

It wouldn't surprise me the man himself Stephen King does the official announcement. He loves to cameo in adaptations of his works. Hell, they might get allowed both mini series & movie look in game as well. Pennywise is just one of those that must be in this game. There is a lot of possibilities they could do with him, it's scary.

2. Candyman (Candyman series)
By now everyone knows a spiritual sequel aka reboot is happening that's just called Candyman. Tony Todd is in that movie, he could reprise his role for this game. Considering, he had stated in an interview that Candyman was his favorite role. Not a lot of people knows he originally from a book by the same man who created what became known as Hellraiser series.

Yes, Clive Barker created two of the scariest horror icons of all time. A lot of people are quickly jumping on the number 4's shape as well as it's goldish appearance. Let's be honest, we do need someone representing insects in this game. I do think Candyman would bring that as well as a hook being a weapon to the game.

3. Pinhead (Hellraiser series)
Pinhead is another huge request by the community to join the roster. It also would bag the question just how powerful is The Entity. This being even got Freddy to kill for it, whose a god like being in the dream world. We are going bigger with a being that represents order in Hell. The real question is how much of Hell would The Entity be able to take to turn that into it's own realm?

Pinhead does have a knife as well as chains they can do exactly what he wants. Thus he likely covers most ranges already being a force within the game. Now going by that number 4 hint. The box has gold color around it's design. In Hellraiser 3, it got transformed into a blade sending him to Hell. Which could represent the sharp look for the number 4 or even his actual knife that's shape somewhat like that.

4. Chucky (Child's Play/Chucky series)
Chucky is another huge request I seen all the time. Chucky is likely getting more movies as well as a show on TV. Of course, there now exists two versions of the character that further bags the question. Which is more likely to show up in their game? Classic Chucky is a serial killer who put his soul into a Good Guy doll that continues to kill people.

The remake Chucky is a robot that learns at a fast rate that's willing to do anything to have Andy for itself. Obviously, either version of the character would fill in evil toys. But remake Chucky is a machine that is rare among the killers in the game itself. I should mention that version of Chucky has two major looks too.

Chucky does a few title cards similar to the number 4 hint. Yes, Chucky himself lacks something gold. Thanks to Cult of Chucky & Child's Play remake in their own right adds a lot of interesting possibilities. I strongly felt either version could be in this game to do the franchise justice honestly. We might even get their voice actor to reprise their roles if we're lucky.

5. The Babadook (The Babadook)
The Babadook is a character in a story. One mom started thinking too deeply about that story seeing things like the character himself. So in this regard, fear would represent imagination since she believed in it too much to cause herself fear in the process. Let's be honest somethings are just normally scarier when you start believing too much into it.

6. The Leprechaun (Leprechaun series)
The Leprechaun does have a pot of gold. Somethings additional gold stuff is included. We do need a magic theme killer in this game. I know most of his movies not counting Leprechaun: Origins it doesn't exist takes place in several states. The big exception being 4 is in space that sorta bring that fear into the game as well.

Just imagine what he might be allowed to do in game. Yes they didn't say they were considering him like the previous five guesses. But there isn't a lot of horror franchises that has something to represent the color gold or have a title with the number 4. Now that would limit these down further for me. I would drop everything just to get this guy as soon as possible I'm not joking.

7. Puppet Master (Puppet Master series)
I am aware a free multiplayer game based on this franchise is coming to Steam. But I just noticed a particular cover for Puppet Master 4 has the number 4 similar enough to the hint. You could be the puppet master commanding these puppets against the survivors would be an unique concept. There also exists a reboot movie in it's own universe does spicing their look up further.

8. Graboid species (Tremors series)
Hear me out before freaking on me over this. Tremor 4 has the number 4 similar to the hint. It also was a prequel movie in a similar time period to Chains of Hate chapter. Even if they don't take those creatures from that movie. There do exist mutations of that species. Just imagine being an Graboid under the ground.

You could be given the option to become a couple Shriekers to attack multiple survivors or I apologize it's the name of the final stage, Assblasters can fly in the air. Thus, with the possible exception of water does cover most of the maps by default. Either form would easily be alerted to the survivor's locations quickly.

Jack Red reviews Streets of Rage 4

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I couldn't be any happier with how SOR4 turned out. There were several attempts bringing back a few beat em up franchises. A couple of them didn't go far while this one blew everyone away. Considering a lot of years passed in real life since SOR3. The odds up to that point was heavily stacked against it.

Streets of Rage 4 takes place ten years after the previous game. Axel with his friends goes to stop Mr. X's children. Funny enough they are calling themselves Mr. & Mrs. Y I'm not kidding. I take it their grand children will be named Mr. or Mrs. Z lol. Let's be honest, this game is very good in every possible way.

I never thought I was going to say this but it is better than the original Streets of Rage game in my opinion. It does come so close to SOR2 bujt I don't consider that a disappointment. If anything they really went all out with this. The first two games has eight stages while SOR3 had 7 stages. SOR4 pushes you further in 12 stages.

I really liked they changed the boss health bars in this. In many beat em up games you either have to take down several health bars or beat them up until they are defeated or in some cases flashing colors. You get a nice size health bar with a picture of that boss. This does apply to a few times you face two bosses at once.

I also love they give you retro versions of several characters. Now that by itself was mind blowing to me. Now add in retro songs from the first two SOR games. Yeah this is a party I'll never leave. All new characters fits in perfectly bringing their own unique style to the game play. The older characters are greatly updated to help stand the test of time.

This game is out on several platforms. The crazy part is Sega wasn't involved as close as much as the original three games. A new team took such an ambitious project head on. I strongly believed they absolutely nailed it. I might be one of the select few reviewing this that played the only release game that nearly was SOR4.

Fighting Force was originally going to be that game. I have owned it on PlayStation 1 and more recently on Nintendo 64. This was the closest attempt at giving us SOR4 before a long time waiting for the actual game. There was also an attempt on Sega Dreamcast but then new board members chose to cancel the game.

The point is this could've easily been a disaster waiting to happen. Instead we ended up with a game that's really damn good. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing with great sound effects. They do introduce some new game play mechanics with my favorite being throwing a pipe at a short distance. If you remain close by, that pipe goes right back in your hands.

Geez they just got away with ripping off Star Wars lol. They actually given us a new refreshing take especially in how the story is told. It works way better than how SOR3 done that. The controls are perfect, you got some nice surprises. Like a handful of stages has an Bare Knuckle arcade cabinet. You need a taser to attack one of these to do a quick retro boss fight.

The last one gives you Shiva & Mr. X respectively. What do I think about his children? Mr. Y is a psychopath that really doesn't take orders or crap from anyone. His sister Mrs. Y is one of those queen bitch types. You know she has to rule it all getting angry at the very sight of a threat. He uses several weapons while she uses a sword.

I do like we get to fight them separately before the final boss fight where you face both of them. Also you have to deal with a giant robot during this too. I also like the new common enemies you'll face through out the game. The achievements/trophies ended up being way better than I was expecting them to be.

You also have arcade mode where you only get one credit aka continue to finish the game. Boss Rush mode with all the bosses excluding extra retro ones. You can play this with three other people online. The highest for this franchise yet. I also liked you can earn up points to unlock characters. Thus giving you more reasons to keep on playing.

Streets of Rage 4 is really well worth the wait. This game is in all honestly a miracle it ended up being this good. I am still blown how much work that went into this game. It is one of the finest beat em up sequels I ever played. I am proud as a long time fan as well as a huge Sega fan to own this. I strongly, highly, deeply recommend this game to everyone especially to fellow beat em up fans.

Jack Red reviews River City Ransom (Xbox One)

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, yes I now own Streets of Rage 4. I am taking more time with it before I give you my thoughts on the game. Right now is a game I didn't think would come to Xbox One or PS4 for that matter. River City Ransom is ported from NES. I swear there's so many NES games on Xbox One with so little of SMS games, where's the love guys?

Anyway this game is going to be a rather mixed to talk about. I didn't own or play this prior to getting it recently. I will say the actual game is intact. I always want more beat em up games for my consoles or pc. Of course, I had to go for this but it's not worth five bucks long story. I do not regret my purchase however though.

River City Ransom is in a weird franchise that's mostly centered on Renegade & River City series. It also has Super Dodge Ball in the same series. You play as either Alex or Ryan or both of them with another player. You must fight several gangs to getting Ryan's girlfriend back from Simon. This game does give you information to a degree.

The most critical comes from the bosses themselves. Unfortunately, you have to defeat every boss unless you know a loop hole to beat the game. There are speed runners on this game that doesn't face every boss. unlike most beat em up games, this isn't split up into stages. This is more of you exploring around.

Which technically makes this a precursor to Shenmue and Yazkua series respectively. Despite the fact, Sega wasn't even involved with the making of this game. It is more of this team attempted such a concept that some teams later attempted themselves in their own way. Therefore, it is possible without this there wouldn't be Shenmue thus Yakuza.

River City Ransom does alter the clothes of your enemies' clothes at random. You go to parts of the game with enemies, sometimes it goes from gray to yellow. You can also buy things by going into stores. Now this was more common during the 90s in several arcade games. I could name several Capcom arcade classics done it.

You can increase your stats by eating particular stuff. A good number of it affects several stats at once. I believe the highest I seen most of them goes is 63. Only two particular stats with one being your stamina goes higher. You can move amazingly fast in this game with the right stuff. I highly recommend you use a map off a device to find the bosses.

There are several weapons that isn't unusual for this genre of games. You also can use the other playable character as a weapon. Now that's thinking outside the box lol. Some bosses will respawn but has more money than their goons making it great for farming money from them. You actually can use one of those locations to get three achievements/trophies done in this game I'm not kidding.

The audio is surprisingly solid that's aging well. You can play two different visual versions of the same game. But it won't allow you to use save game from one version to another. I played games that allowed such a thing so there's no excuse for that. This lacks new stuff altogether, you can customize the controls.

The default controls is well questionable at best. Most achievements/trophies for this can be done outside the actual game isn't right. Sadly, the same company responsible for this also done the same treatment to several classics as well. Keep in mind, this is a recent port of a classic game. It came out a few weeks ago, I got it a day after SOR4 came out.

Honestly Doom 64 gotten a much better port than this. It kinda felt like they wanted to just give us the games nothing more than that. There was a time this would've been alright but not anymore. Not to mention, SNK has a lot of classics on many platforms that does many things better in comparison. Also every achievement/trophy in this is worth an 100 gamer score.

If you know what you're doing that's an easy 1000 gamer score you can pick up. The AI among the goons does vary at times. I actually got strong enough to one shot two bosses in the same area in record time. There is a lot of places to buy stuff in. I actually liked you get the option to smile as free. This could've been flirting in game or just to make the lady's day who really knows.

I had to die to get around an obstacle I couldn't get around, no I wasn't glitching the game. I missed a few bosses prior to where I was stuck at. The goal is to get inside the other high school. You got five bosses waiting for you inside. You also can buy shoes & similar stuff as well. River City Ransom doesn't have an in game map neither does much to help you on you way to finish it.

This means you might have to write all the bosses as well as their locations down then look on a map you're using. I should mention the secret shop is inside a tunnel against a particular part of the wall. You have to spend a lot of money but it does help level your stats up a lot. Sometimes, weapons can be thrown against something or someone might hit into you like a soccer ball.

The actual ending is more or less meant as a joke. There is a lot of bosses in this game. I do like you have to use your head while playing it. I do recommend build up your stats since you'll need it later. The actual in game achievements quickly become a joke after using a trick to farm money. Honestly, despite the flaws it has, this game is a true classic on that console.

I would say it is unique yet refreshing. I thought I seen it all, yeah SOR4 also proved me wrong there too. This game is interesting in how you may go about getting further. I didn't rely on weapons as much as some people would. It is kinda annoying as I was fighting I kept by accident grabbing em. You do get mostly get moves to help you in combat.

River City Ransom is a nice length beat em up game that has replayability in a way a lot of similar games doesn't have. You can easily fall out in some areas with a few being death. Yes the stores do look similar to each other for the most part. Although, a couple do have their own particular look to help you find em easier.

Like Sushi place actually says Sushi on it. I also liked you buy the moves but two of them are present in most locations. You also need to read them first before they activate. Otherwise, you are just moving around like normal. I also like your health bar can get surprisingly long in this game. I should also mention there are passwords you can use.

You can't use em or reset for three achievements/trophies. But knowing it is there would help for future runs. I would say for the game itself I do recommend. Sadly, this port isn't doing such a game justice. I played several games given more respect than this. River City Ransom is so much of a different beast from the genre, you can't know how I feel until you play it for yourselves.

Update: Unlock all achievements isn't actually that. No it turned out to be just change your background. Why isn't it named that instead of unlock every achievement? A real unlock every achievement involves doing the other achievements thus unlocked following the last one you needed to do.

I am still happy to own this game but to screw up a name for an achievement like that. It makes me wonder even the team porting these NES classics is checking their achievements/trophies before releasing em. This is just sad, all those games deserve a lot more respect than that company owning them does for some of it's own franchises.
