On May 14th, 2020, I gotten Adept Huntress achievement. I will be honest it took me a lot of attempts to getting this particular adept killer achievement. I still wouldn't say it's the hardest but it's up there. I only got a handful of killers left to attempt getting their respective adept killer achievements.
Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, I played a game that among the first glace looked up I was going to lose quickly. It even came down to one generator left. Thankfully, I continued to stay on top of what they were doing. Don't worry I will take my time to break down how others could get this achievement/trophy.
Obviously you need to attempt this with her original three perks. You also need to pay attention how the survivors are playing. Sadly, her perks won't do much to help you. Territorial Imperative only reveals survivors' auras when they are in the basement while being more than 24 meters away. Hex: Huntress Lullaby gives a regression penalty when survivors fail any Skull Check.
The Huntress Lullaby grows in powers in terms of that song gets shorter. When she sings within a distance from the survivors, they can hear her. This perks makes her singing a bit shorter to prevent detection slightly giving you a little bit more time. Beast of Prey when activated removed your connection from The Entity for a brief period of time.
To sum it up, this means as long it remains activate the survivors can't detect you. The best part is depending on tier of that particular perk gives you bonus blood points in the hunting category. Which would help out in one of the key things you'll need in order to get an adept killer achievement. The Huntress can cover a lot of ranges due to the fact she can throw axes.
It is important to keep the amount of axes up when possible. They could mean the difference of getting that achievement/trophy or you won't. It is critical you get good enough to throw them. This helps cutting chases shorter giving you more time to hunt the other survivors. I should mention, you can lose your bonus blood points if a survivor cleanses your Hex totem.
Thankfully, like the generators by default you'll being able to see the direct location of your Hex totem. You also can use it to get an idea where the survivors could be if you are lucky. Later in the matches, try to use your default axe since you don't know what survivors could be using. I highly recommend you constantly keep moving especially to generators you'll know will be targeted by them.
You can also use throwing axes to prevent getting pallets dropped on you or down a survivor whose a notable distance away. If you are lucky, you might be able to down them without them realizing it in time. Sometimes, survivors can hide inside of lockers. All of them carries spare throwing axes. If you end up directly grabbing the survivor instead of refilling your axes.
Don't worry about it especially if the closest hook isn't far from your location. Most of her add ons makes her basic stuff a bit easier to do. I don't recommend using her perks as much as other killers even with some of their worst perks. Don't count too much on the little stealth you could be getting. Instead focus on getting better with your throwing axes.
Some add ons adds an extra effect among hitting the survivors. It won't change things in your favor but you might be able to slow em down a little bit. The Huntress has a surprisingly short attack range with her default axe. If a survivor about to drop a pallet or hoop over a ledge, you need to attack quicker than normal to hit or caught em.
Although, I actually recommend you go with your throwing axes since in that brief period of time. The survivors can't prevent a said action from happening neither defend themselves. This is your opportunity to screw their chances at escaping over. Also I recommend using an add on that gives you an extra axe.
Doing this would decrease how often you'll need to refill your throwing axes. I will be honest, her three perks aren't going to do much at all to help you here. You really need to bring it during matches because of it. Personally, The Huntress is somewhat growing on me but far from my favorites. The best part is she actually a free dlc character meaning everyone who plays this gets her.
