Why Jason Voorhees shouldn't be in Dead by Daylight?

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, as a huge horror movie fan. Of course I know who Jason Voorhees is, the slasher with more kills than anyone including the very character who inspired him Michael Myers. But I just problems the team couldn't fully recover from if he ever shows up in Dead by Daylight. I will explain to the best of my ability why I strongly feel that way.

1. He already has his own game
I already done a review and some comparison blogs of Friday the 13th: The Game. Both of them asymmetrical horror multiplayer games. Therefore, since you can play as one of the survivors or mostly Jason whose the killer. I felt requesting for him to be in DbD is a huge waste of time. Now that game has already done enough justice to it's license alone.

2. The lawsuit
Ever since we first heard about this lawsuit. Almost everything with Friday the 13th's name on it got canceled. So far only the Switch port got released. It is supposedly coming to an end soon. Although, one of the teams already stated regardless of the outcome their game is finished. They aren't going to start adding stuff again following it was exactly their point.

3. We already have a character similar to Jason
Some killers early on are inspired by horror icons with the original killer himself being inspired by Jason himself. The Trapper does have some notable similarities to him especially bringing in Friday the 13th: The Game to this. Both of them wields a huge machete or blade knife that can set traps. Although, the counselors can also do that.

4. We already got the next best thing
To me, if we couldn't get Jason I'm glad they went straight for Michael Myers. Honestly, getting some of the later licensed characters is cherries on top. But I also felt how Michael plays ends up being more interesting in comparison too. A lot better than how Call of Duty treated the character. They even got his theme in place of the usual chase theme during matches too.

5. They would have a difficult time trying to making him different from some of the killers
A major reason why I think that wouldn't work. They were lucky to make Leatherface play just enough differently from The Hillbilly. There are a few killers who can use traps. We also got a lot of blade wielding killers as well.

6. This would ruin one of the biggest horror game debates in history
Let's be honest everyone who knows about these games compares them all the time. Their very concept is very similar even with a lot of changes. Why would they suddenly ruin something that indirectly brought people together like that? Also, he would be cheating the purpose due to already having his own game prior to this anyway.

7. The company behind Dead by Daylight has a long history of licensed games
Both teams responsible for Friday the 13th: The Game didn't fully check the copy rights in advance. Behavior has a lot of licensed games under it's belt to know how exactly this process works. It was clear neither team were very new to the process. Not to mention, Dead by Daylight had to do the same process multiple times in a few years just to add more licensed content.

8. Jason would have a very difficult standing out among the licensed killers
We already got Freddy, Leatherface, Michael, The Pig, The Demogorgon & The Ghost Face. I am aware we're about to get another horror legend added soon. Just based on who we already have. Jason really needs to be done better than them as well as his own game to have a chance here. Otherwise, he'll likely be one of the most hated among the roster for that very reason.

9. Which location would be used for Jason?
There is several locations within Friday the 13th series not counting the show for them to look over. Most of them looks similar since most of them are campsites near a lake. Now I am aware of being on a ship, a spaceship & Manhattan. I don't know how they would go about it. Not to mention, I would think Xenomorph or another space theme horror icon would be better for a space theme map.

10. Which kill would be his mori?
Jason has a very big body count for a slasher. Of course, they got a long list of potential kills. Even limiting him down to just using his machete or his hands would be difficult. Especially, they end up using the undead version of the character. I actually felt the alive version would be more balanced. Regardless which version, some of his likely choices for a mori are already done by some of the killers.

11. Paying for later added costumes would cause a lot of people being upset
Now hear me out on this, we already have a Friday the 13th: The Game that nearly had every version of him in the movies. We were close of fully getting Uber Jason from Jason X as a playable character. Due to being a licensed characters, only Auric Cells can be used to buy him as well as additional stuff. Which means you need to pay with real money in order to get whatever outfit gets added.

12. Some killers had a similar relationship with a parent
The Trapper & Leatherface have a similar relationship to their family. To the point, even doing horrible things for their loyalty. Now Jason does seem to honor his mother long after her death. In fact, at the beginning of Part 2 he killed the very person who killed her. This by itself makes trying to make that part of his story stand out from theirs would in itself be a challenge.

I will be honest if Jason gets into DbD I would be just as upset as Friday the 13th: The Game allowing Roy Burns into the game. I highly doubt Burns would make it to Dead by Daylight. Honestly, horror movies is packed with characters mostly on killer side we could talk for days on. There are a couple notable survivors that still isn't in the game yet like Sidney Prescott from Scream series or Ellen Ripley from Alien series.
