Why Freddy vs. Pennywise doesn't work?

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, recently a lot of people wanted Freddy Krueger taking on Pennywise. But this technically can't be called a fight. There's a lot of reasons behind that logic. I do know a great deal about both these characters. I figured why not go out of my way to explain why this is a horrible idea for Death Battle.

Freddy Krueger vs. Dr. Destiny prediction blog, way more worth your time!!!

Thankfully in a few blogs, I covered Freddy enough that I don't even need to do it again. Pennywise is a being from another plain of existence that predates most universes. He was among the original beings along with all twelve guardians of the dark tower aka nexus of the multiverse. Pennywise has been around for several millennia on Earth.

This entity feeds off of fear as well as devours children. Trust me, I really understand the similarities here. Both of them manipulate their minds to a degree to bring out their fear. Usually targeting younger people, kids for Pennywise while it's teenagers for Freddy. In their own right, they're both god like beings.

However, Freddy can be pulled out of the dream world to lose majority of his powers. It just isn't sure how many powers he maintains while in the real world. In comparison, Pennywise is a being that predates most of existence. Simply going by that, he greatly trumps Freddy's experience. This also means, he has to play by that universe's rules to coexist within it.

Essentially, he has to take a physical form while taking fear enough to manifest itself in the real world. In theory, he would be more depended on fear than Freddy actually is. I highly doubt Freddy by himself could weakened him down in order to kill him. It is debatable if Pennywise dies or not in the IT book.

Spoiler alert in IT: Chapter 2, he does get a brutal death. But that required a small group of people putting him down either than the opposite he was doing to them. It was also due to their beliefs in stuff that could harm him. Keep in mind, whatever he takes, he will have it's weaknesses. Now I do see Freddy taking advantage of this to a degree in the dream world.

The problem however thus the very reason this can't happen on Death Battle. Pennywise uses his mental powers more often then actually physically appearing himself. Which means, unless Pennywise wants to send himself into the dream world, Freddy can't force him to. Even if he was in the dream world, he would likely get under Freddy's skin faster rather than the other way around.

Also in the real world, Freddy isn't that different from a human being. Pennywise's dead lights is known to have a few not so pleasant known effects on people. It can drive someone insane or kill them shortly after seeing it or simply turn their hair white. One of these situations is very likely to happen here.

Not only that, Freddy won't have the same beliefs as the Losers' Club had. In this regard, Freddy won't actually be able to physically harm Pennywise at all. Pennywise has proven to be more powerful than the dream demons that turned Freddy into what he is. Let's be honest, due to how Pennywise coexisting within an universe that's not his original universe.

Freddy isn't even able to stand on equal footing as the real Pennywise. In fact, Pennywise killed the turtle guardian himself. Keep in mind, these guardians like Pennywise also predate existence by several million years. He killed the smartest guardian out of the twelve simply because he hates him. He took his life by choking him to death.

Why is this an impressive feat you ask? There is a long book series by Stephen King called Dark Tower series. Within a few of these books, Roland with his group took down two guardians of the tower in their long journey. Obviously it took much more effort than Pennywise. Even Stephen King himself has acknowledge how truly powerful Pennywise actually is.

Granted we don't have his true name but know slightly more to go on about his real self. Even if this fight took place in the dream world where Freddy's at his strongest. Obviously being Freddy's biggest advantage that sorta puts him close by his level, he isn't actually there. In the past, Freddy had trouble with some of his victims having dream powers.

There also was the case with Alice who had some of his victim's powers too. So if those people gave Freddy trouble then Pennywise is simply too much. The reason I'm not bringing Jason Voorhees into this is simply because I don't need to. Freddy is a clever strategist that cause terror but Pennywise had terror of his own going for a few million years.

What I'm trying to say is Freddy can not physically or spiritually kill Pennywise. Let's be more direct, what Freddy can do in the dream world is essentially child's play for Pennywise. Thus he is more of a god like being in comparison. Freddy doesn't even have advantages that matters at all in this fight. Pennywise has all the advantages with some being tremendously huge.

Winner: Pennywise
