Jack Red reviews The Walking Dead: Michonne

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, a lot of people were surprised we ended up getting a spin off Walking Dead game. There are several changes to help differ it from the rest. It is also the cheapest out of all the game to buy. The Walking Dead: Michonne is much more serious tone. I felt they did a great job with what they had for this.

As the title suggests you play as Michonne. Yes that Michonne many people know from The Walking Dead show. This was created because the comics didn't explained what happened to her while away from the group. Michonne does experience a lot of flashbacks that sorta act as her origin story. I felt they could've piece the last of it together more.

This game also started a tread with intros complete with music. This is split up into three episodes actually a little shorter than the regular episodes of the other Walking Dead games. Despite that it still tells a good story for the most part. The action itself is worth rewatching. Some of my favorite walker kills are in this game.

The Walking Dead: Michonne is not connected to the main Telltale Walking Dead series. Honestly I am fine by this since it does help make it stand out more. Michonne is struggling with her past through the course of the game. I won't spoil much of what else is going on. Trust me that would ruin the fun.

You really felt like you're in her shoes during the game. She has her sword that does use at several points. I would say this has the second easiest overall decisions of all their Walking Dead games. The only one easier was 400 Days. There's some great gore effects especially later on. You don't get as much variety of locations to explore.

But you do get more back story to one of the most popular Walking Dead characters. Michonne goes through a lot in this mini series. Maybe not as crazy as the previous two games it's still worth mentioning. I would say for a spin off game it's one of the best I played especially for a licensed game.
