Resident Evil Main Time Line Redux

Hello everyone I'm Jack Red, a few years ago I did a long take on this concept. I figured to do a shorter variation of that. Also because Revelations series is classified as canon spin off games. They won't be included this time. Other than that, I will quickly go through each main Resident Evil game within the time line.

Also I excluded the CGI movies despite being part of the game canon. I wanted to make it even easier for people to follow the rough idea how it goes.

Classic time line version

1. Resident Evil 0

S.T. A. R. S. Bravo unit was tasked to searching Arklay Forest what happening to some of their civilians.

2. Resident Evil

S. T. A. R. S. Alpha unit was tasked to locate S. T. A. R. S. Bravo unit the following day. Captain of S. T. A. R. S. Alpha was betraying both Umbrella & S. T. A. R.S. for personal gain.

3. First half of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Former S. T. A. R. S. member, Jill Valentine struggles to survive in Raccoon City.

4. Resident Evil 2

A college student, Claire Redfield & rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy came to an infected city.

5. Remaining half of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

UMBC soldier Carlos gave Jill an experimental cure. They escaped Raccoon City just prior to a nuclear missile wipe out the city.

6. Resident Evil - Code: Veronica

Claire goes missing while her brother Chris searching to find her.

7. Resident Evil 4

Leon must rescue the president's daughter from a cult.

8. Resident Evil 5

Chris & Sheva prevented a massive viral outbreak from Albert Wesker.

9. Resident Evil 6 short version

Derrick Simons & Carla Radames cause several viral outbreaks around the world.

Let's be honest, RE6 attempted way too much action stunts.

10. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Ethan searching for his wife, Chris searching for Lucas & Joe searching for a cure to save Zoe.

New time line version

Now rather than me writing most of this I'm just going to talk about remakes to the first three games here. Most of the time line is unchanged regardless. I felt, these descriptions are more on the money. I also made sure this would be an easy read for people.

1. Resident Evil 1 remake

The same story with added history relating directly to Umbrella Corporation.

2. Resident Evil 2 remake

Mostly similar stories, Leon killed a giant alligator as well as a mutated tyrant while Claire fought William's fourth form.

This clarifies who killed what is the entire point here.

3. Resident Evil 3 remake

A similar story changing how Jill got cured as well as changing Nicholai's death.
