Capcom Fighting Collection, how I gotten every achievement in a week

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I don't officially do stuff like this. There's even the chance it might be my last too. I been noticing people cover their journey to getting every achievements/trophies in videos. I felt the one game I probably could do the most justice on has to be Capcom Fighting Collection. Some games like TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection, I taken the easy route.

Although, I did later fully play them all. I simply wanted to get the achievement hunting out the way. So I can simply enjoy em, my honest answer. I have a little over two decades worth of experience achievement/trophy hunting. You may see how I would tackle such an game collection. I will be covering every achievement on particular days.

From June 24th to June 28th, I didn't hack or use mods to achieve this madness. I quickly knew by the time I would've done this on consoles, I'm likely be within the hundreds of people that completed it. Then it occurred to me since I preordered it on Steam, maybe I could be the first person to complete it there. I am very happy to say I am that very person.

ResidentEvilGamer89 is me!!!

I can only hope those trying to get every achievement/trophy in this game. Maybe what I have to share may help you out a little bit or a lot depending on things. I also need to bring up, a few achievements involves every game. I figured if I didn't say anything that might've brought in confusion later on. Alright let's reveal how I pulled something this insane off.

Another surprising thing is during this week. A good friend of mine showed up for a few hours. Mostly watching Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy. Sometimes, a break as well as having some company over helps a lot in the long run. Not this collection made me felt tired or bored, it's quite good. I am very proud of my hard work here.

Practice Makes Perfect
In game game, deal 1,000 damage or higher to an opponent in training mode.

I know a long list on launch day achievement hunting. Every Play game achievement is simply get the games started that's it. Complete every game achievement is beat the games with any character. Considering most of these games were meant to be rough on players back in the day. I suggest lower difficulty as well as reducing the amount of rounds to speed up the process.

Shooting Star occurs during the ending credits. I recommend making a save state then practice learning how to get Mobi-chan out. Then practice how to use him before you go for the actual achievement. You won't have much time to do so. Let's Go Tenjiku! achievement, at random SonSon will fly around during matches.

A little tricky to pull off, you need to hit him to get the character drop the items. This also may take a little practice to do. Both the secret characters in the updated versions of Vampire Savior has a very similar process how to select. Place your cursor on the random icon then press start five to seven times before selecting them.

Record Breaker is virtually guarantee because you'll easily get that simply by beating Super Gem Fighter Minimix. Practice Makes Perfect, you simply keep damaging your opponent until the achievement unlocks. Of course, just lose on purpose to use an continue to unlock Never Give Up! achievement.

Hold It Right There! achievement, the fast method is finish most of your opponents with an finisher. Keep in mind, there's two types being EX and ES moves respectively. Regardless, which you end up using, you should get an extra fight. The alternative method is use an finisher on the final opponent, mostly being Jedah.

Collateral Damage achievement is surprisingly easy to pull off. The easiest method to get it is simply on a handful of stages. Mostly Guile or Ken's stages, you'll need to defeat an opponent. As they're defeat must make contact with the destroyable environment stuff. In order to face Akuma in single player, you must defeat every opponent up until Sagat without losing a match.

Thankfully a couple matches after I completed the entire game's achievements. Capcom made a loop hole making it easier to play the US version of Hyper Street Fighter II. For those that doesn't know, SFII has the famous difficulty glitch. So it's actually easier to get every Hyper Street Fighter II achievement now.

Now we get to the five achievements that requires performing particular moves. All of them are within the Darkstalkers series. My best advice is timing, having the meter filled up and practice performing those moves. Thankfully nine out of ten games has a training mode. You may need to do that first before attempting them in actual matches.

Red Earth has two training modes. Yes you also can practice the bonus stages too. I figured I should mentioned that.

To the Scrapyard with You!
In Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness, perform an 18-hit combo or higher with any VA.

The Lessons of Saikyo Style
In Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, successfully perform a Super KO.

To the Scrapyard with You! achievement has a very easy method to do. As Killer Bee VA, you'll need to charge up your meter. Make sure when you fire it, your opponent takes damage. More times than not, you should land an 18-hit combo at a fast rate. You also can charge it up directly making this one of the faster move theme achievements in the game.

The Lessons of Saikyo Style achievement is surprisingly easy to pull off. Don't worry this isn't the usual combo pressing method either. All I do is pile up enough blocks. When I'm ready to break them, I wait for that particular colored orb to show up. If your opponent is closer to defeat by that point, you're more likely going to get the achievement.

June 26th
Destinies Intertwined
In Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness, view every pilot's ending.

Around the World
In Super Gem Fighter Minimix, perform an Around the World counter.

June 27th
This is No Magic Trick!
In Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire, KO any character with Bishamon's Togakubi Sarashi.

To Each Their Own Path
In Red Earth, view every ending.

I'll start with the easiest achievement I gotten on that day. Destinies Intertwined achievement, simply beat the game with all six pilots. Yes one of them is two kids to clarify. Also make sure you wait a little longer to get the achievement especially on the final pilot. The good news is you can use any VA for this.

Around the World achievement is a little tricky to pull off. You actually can do it very quickly when you have your opponent as far as possible on either side of the screen. All you have to do is find a way to land an attack that literately sends em flying around the world. This also could be somewhat tedious when it doesn't work.

I also recommend if you get your opponent stunned. You are briefly giving a few seconds to do this. Works best in stages outside. I don't recommend rushing the process or it just won't work right. Unless you are a pro speed runner then you could pull it off. Training Mode likely the best mode to train to properly pull this off.

Now I got to talk about two of the hardest achievements in the game. This is No Magic Trick! achievement took me a lot of attempts to get it done right. You have to play as Bishamon against any CPU opponent. You have to use Togakubi Sarashi move as you're defeating em to get the achievement. This is a difficult to pull off move as well as given a much less time to properly pull it off.

It's finally time to talk about the single most difficult achievement in the entire game. To Each Their Own Path achievement will require a lot of playthroughs to complete. One particular ending you have to fully do the entire game without losing once. Some endings has a decision you need to make. Kenji and Mai-Ling respectively, thankfully you can cheat it by making an save state.

Which also prevents you doing two additional runs of the game. The most annoying endings to get is you need to use at least twenty continues before beating the game. The single trickiest ending to get is Leo must defeat Blade with an fatality. Continues do not matter for that ending. I believe some endings you are allowed a few continues to get, which should make a part of this easier.

I also need to point out, Leo has one more ending than the rest of the playable characters. Even with my easy route strategy, you will take a notable amount of time getting all these endings. You also have to defeat the final boss twice per a run. Parts of the endings are a little similar which also can cause confusion as well.

Collection Completionist
Complete every game in the collection with every character.

For me the final achievement was Collection Completionist achievement. Possibly one of the most tedious fighting game achievements I ever done period. What you need to do is complete every game as every playable character including hidden characters and mechs. I will point some stuff help to help things a little bit.

I'm not going to sugar coat this. You have to do a lot of playthroughs in most these games. Thankfully you only need four runs from Red Earth. All three versions of Vampire Savior & Hyper Street Fighter II has the most playable characters. Also in Cyberbots' case, get used to seeing the same character stories a lot too.

No it doesn't matter which language version you do these on. No you don't have to do every single version of a character in Hyper Street Fighter II. Continues doesn't even matter, take all the time you'll need. I will briefly talk about how to select the hidden characters. I already previously mentioned Marionette & Shadow, which works on both updated versions of Vampire Savior.

I also need to point out Night Warriors & Red Earth are the only games without hidden characters.

You also have Dark Talbain in Vampire Savior but that version of the character isn't in the updated versions. You can play as a few previously unplayable characters mostly present in Darkstalkers series. Like the bosses in Darkstalkers 1 as well as Oboro Bishamon in all versions of Vampire Savior. Most easy select is a very quick process.

For Darkstalkers 1, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Super Gem Fighter Minimix and Hyper Street Fighter II. You simply move the cursor in the right direction to select the hidden characters. It's a little different for the other games with the hidden characters though. Like a very short button combination on the character selection screen gives you the remaining hidden characters in later Darkstalkers games.

Cyberbots, it doesn't matter which pilot or VA you would've selected. By activating the Easy Select option, you have to quickly press up, up or left, left or down, down or right, right. In order to play as the hidden boss mechs. Thankfully every single achievement is being tracked in another mode of the game. So you don't even need to write them down or use a text file.

I confessed I did used an text file to keep track during the achievement hunting process. I did look up several sources online to get some of these achievements done. A pro achievement hunter would've done that. I had a blast doing all of that within a single week. I do hope Capcom may make a follow up of some sorts to this.
