Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I recently covered both Raid Mode of Revelations series. Now it is officially time to do one of the most difficult Resident Evil comparisons imaginable. Yes we're talking about The Mercenaries mini game series. I haven't got to play both The Mercenaries games not to be confused by an unrelated game series called The Mercenaries.
The Mercenaries Operation: Mad Jackal (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis)
The Mercenaries (Resident Evil 4)
The Mercenaries & The Mercenaries Reunion (Resident Evil 5)
The Mercenaries (Resident Evil 6)
Round 1: Characters
In RE3, you play as three Umbrella mercenaries with the goal of reaching the end. Oddly set near the beginning of the campaign. In RE4, you play as Leon, Ada, Hunk, Krauser and Wesker fighting off enemies for five stars. If you were able with all five characters getting all five stars on all four levels. You unlock the handcannon for the campaign.
Considering RE5 has so many characters I thought of a perfect way of displaying them all without making this too repetitive or too long to read. But I wish to cover Resident Evil 6's The Mercenaries before that. You play as Leon, Helena, Jake, Sherry, Chris, Piers, Ada, Agent and Carla. Your goal is simply score as best as you can within every level with every character.
Here is the long list of characters in The Mercenaries United as they follow below...
1. BSAA Chris
2. Safari Chris
3. S.T.A.R.S. Chris
4. Warrior Chris
5. Heavy Metal Chris
6. BSAA Sheva
7. Clubbin' Sheva
8. Tribal Sheva
9. Fairy Tale Sheva
10. Business Sheva
11. BSAA Jill
12. Battle Suit
13. Midnight Wesker
14. S.T.A.R.S. Wesker
15. Josh
16. Excella
17. Barry
18. Rebecca
OMG right yes most of these are alternate versions of several characters. Yet all of them plays very differently from each other. This also implies to RE6 with other costumes having a different set up than their default costume's. You can change costumes in RE4 with a short code but it doesn't change up the experience.
I hate to say it like this RE3 is out by default. RE4 is quickly fallen out of this category. I felt Resident Evil 5 overall has a more satisfying roster of characters. All of them have their strengths & weaknesses. Thankfully both RE5 & RE6 does allow another player to help you out. I should mention all those costumes Chris & Sheva wears in this also can be wore in the campaign.
Winner: The Mercenaries United (Resident Evil 5)
Round 2: Timer
All four of The Mercenaries mini games has a timer that's counting down. For three of them, your goal is score big. For RE3, you have to dodge or kill enemies giving you more time. This got greatly expanded among with RE5. I felt RE6 simply did that even better. In most of them, you can collect clocks to increase time or clocks to help get more points during a combo.
I felt the timer was pretty strict on RE3 while it was doable in the other three Mercenaries mini games. Honestly I felt RE6 did the best with the timer in general. You can very quickly built among that time limit giving yourself more than enough time to get S rank. Which would be am SS rank in RE5.
Winner: The Mercenaries (Resident Evil 6)
Round 3: Enemies
Let's be honest most enemies in all of their games is present in their respective mini games. So I thought the best way determining which one uses the enemies the best. I decided to judge on bosses, basic enemy spawn areas and how some levels goes about it's difficulty. In RE4, after scoring enough whatever level you are playing on.
The bosses of that level will spawn to come after you. It is possible to have multiple bosses present at the same time. Two boss characters can instantly kill you on the spot regardless of health. In RE5. mostly the same as RE4 with higher scores especially higher when playing with another person. In RE6, among doing several conditions you can have hidden bosses to appear.
This by itself does spice up the game play knowing you could be fighting both boss monsters on the same level. In RE3, some areas are a little random. Which means you could be dealing with zombies, cerberus or possibly two Nemesis creatures in the same area. I felt just between RE4 to RE6, the level are getting bigger.
I know this is kinda awkward because RE3's is centered more going to the end within the time limit. You will be dealing with enemies very often in all of them. Of course when I made the decision I had no choice but consider The Mercenaries No Mercy. Simply removing RE3 and RE4 out of this round. Both RE5 & RE6 has this originally PC exclusive for pro players.
They increased the number of enemies spawning, the number to complete it automatically increased. You have to play by yourself in this version. Going back to enemies spawning, this also affects the bosses after the first one appears. You have enemies surrounding around 75% of the time with little room to do anything.
Yes I have to be honest Resident Evil 5 does have executioners & lickers in it's Mercenaries mini game. By default that's pretty difficult to over look folks. I should mention there is an alternate version of executioner that's tougher. I have to go with Resident Evil 5's The Mercenaries for this round.
Winner: The Mercenaries United (Resident Evil 5)
Round 4: Unlockables
Some may feel like this isn't important. Honestly for some people it does make a difference. I will say before I go any further despite unlocking characters & levels in The Mercenaries for RE5 & RE6. It doesn't offer anything else leaving to their quick elimination in this round. Yes it is between RE3 & RE4's The Mercenaries.
In RE4's The Mercenaries beyond unlocking the other four characters. You also unlock the handcannon for the campaign. You can go to the merchant to get it for free but all of it's upgrades are expansive. In comparison, you can unlock an unlimited rocket, launcher, unlimited submachine gun, unlimited gatling gun and infinite ammo.
Yes all of that for the campaign after getting enough money to buy them all. You have to keep replaying attempting to get better at it to do so. By now you probably noticed both of them has the same problem. But it is three completed hidden weapons against one you have to get there yourself. So in that regard plus infinite ammo for the main game, this round goes to RE3.
Winner: The Mercenaries Operation: Mad Jackal (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis)
After much needed consideration The Mercenaries in Resident Evil 5 is easily the best experience. Sure it may not have the best time usage or unlockables outside the basic stuff. What it does have really made up for it. The Mercenaries United is the definitive experience. You get so much to work to keep you busy for possibly months.
Winner: The Mercenaries United (Resident Evil 5)

Jack Red reviews Celebrity Deathmatch
Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, as a kid one of my absolute favorite animated shows of all time. Always has been MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch. My grandpa used to record me episodes of it growing up. This show inspired me in so many ways over the years. I will be covering the original show, game and MTV2's reboot show.
MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch (1998-2002)
Originally they did a short for Cartoon Sushi that also had a few episodes of Beavis & Butt-Head. The very fight fight was Charles Manson vs. Marilyn Manson. Cartoon Network did a similar show around that period. Ever since Death Bowl '98 episode aired all repeats of it starts with that fight. Some celebrities including Marilyn Manson and some wrestlers like Stone Cold Steve Austin voiced themselves.
They went through three interviewers over the course of the original show. I got to be honest they sure put a lot of thought into these twists. All death matches must end with a death similar to ScrewAttack's Death Battle. So many celebrities has been parodied on this show. Some of the funniest humor I ever seen on any form of animation shows.
They also do different theme episodes like family, Halloween, fandemonium and a few more. Not many fights had more than two people fighting. Some matches had a lot of people with the Survivor fight technically having the most characters. Although Richard Hatch ate a good number of them before entering the match.
Fandemonium episodes involves allowing the viewers to pick matches among the selection to make happen. The most surprising among them was Beavis vs. Butt-Head. Although their show was also on MTV. Halloween episodes went all out with some of the best effects I ever seen. They made their own crazy cage match they done a handful of times.
Some matches has weapons placed in the right. Hell some matches added modifications to the ring. Like Michael Jackson vs. Madonna had acid outside the ring brilliant. This show had some clever writing to keep you rewatching for hours. It only lasted four seasons with Season 4 being okay alright for the most part.
They also did super freaks that involves combining DNA of dead celebrities. In Potato Khan's case by accident Stone Cold dropped a french fry into the mix. They sure do reference a lot of movies & shows for it's time. They also done some episodes where plans changed like the time they went to rescue Debbie in another time period.
Yes even monsters got to fight like Steve Irwin taking on Medusa. Who remembers the time The Undertaker took on a demon possessing Nick Jr.? They even put Rage against the Machine band against a robot no I'm not kidding. I am still mind blowing by Keanu Reeves vs. Brad Pitt. I am still very impressed they did a Matrix style fight.
There is even times where Johnny & Nick got to fight themselves. Like when Nick took a satyr back in ancient Rome. They also had a time machine allowing dead historical figures to fight. Not a lot of people know this but both Johnny & Nick were originally voiced by real life commentators. Mills Lane was voiced by himself with one of his last related appearance confirming he had a stroke.
Hell they only did one 4th of July episode, OMG that episode was amazing. Especially the main event between former present George Washington vs. former present Abraham Lincoln. This was truly one of the most entertaining main event fights in the history of the show. I felt the same way about their North vs. South main event fight between Ulysses S. Grant vs. Robert E. Lee.
They also done two giant robot theme fights. Oddly enough both of them involves several bands. I really enjoyed watching Jeff Gordan vs. Dale Earnhardy because they had modified racing cars. I still can't believe they did fights I'm surprised got allowed to air like Dolly Parton vs. Jennifer Lopez. There are also episodes of a different nature altogether.
Like the episode taking place at Congress or a fight ends up causing a tragedy nearly killing Johnny Gomez. I felt even the not so great episodes after better than what follows this show. They even did a comedy theme episodes like Bill Murray vs. Chris Kattan being one of the weirdest fights. They were parodying Ghostbusters & Monkey Bone, which further bags the question how much weirder it is.
There are divas theme fights with weapons in place. Actually the last one was one of the few times a fight started before all fighters appears in the ring. This show appeals to so many people in so many different ways I honestly don't know where to begin. For a clay animation show holding up to the test time I have the absolute most respect to Eric & his team for making it.
This show was amazing for it's time. Still among the goriest shows I seen at the same time the humors helps you out. A lot of creativity even in flashback fights. I should mention all of this was mostly done with clay. Honestly I am very impressed with everything this show has done. They really go the extra mile making the fans happy.
MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch game (2003)
Yes there is a licensed Celebrity Deathmatch game. I am basing my review on Xbox version but I noticed some versions are notably worse. There isn't a lot of positive things to say about this game. It is too easy to unlock everything. Some audio glitches heavily presented in custom characters. Yes Nick & Johnny's voices are in the game.
I felt the roster should've been a lot bigger than this. I mean come on it has celebrity in the name for crying out loud. Also Mr. T still haven't officially been in a death match in either show. All of it screams cash in every single part of it with little to no real reason to play this. They notably lowered the gore too, this isn't Celebrity Deathmatch.
MTV2's Celebrity Deathmatch (2006-2007)
OMG I really can't stand this reboot more commonly known as Season 5 & 6. Avoid them at all costs because they're absolutely nothing like the original show at all. I will say compared to Teen Titans Go & Powerpuff Girls reboot show, it isn't as close as bad. There is a good reason why the real Mills Lane couldn't do the role again.
He explains in a special when he suffered a stroke, his voice changed a lot. Honestly I have a lot of respect for that man. I am also glad he had nothing to do with this show. A different animation company did the clay figures promising more blood. To me the suppose added blood just doesn't look right.
Not even Eric Fogel the creator of the show was a part of this. Which means this automatically gets a red flag. All the jokes with one possible joke are pretty terrible. The only good joke was said by Rodney Dangerfield while on the way to the ring. I hate to say it only two fights to me are even remotely close to rewatching.
Rodney Dangerfield vs. Rob Schneider & Johnny Depp vs. Orlando Bloom. The single worst fight of this show is Chris Farley vs. Horatio Sanz. This fight broke a lot of rules from the original show. Yes on the original show the time machine was used during The Three Stooges vs. The Three Tenors. Except they were already fighting each other while the hosts were absented.
The point is they never up to that point used the time machine to bring someone who died right before the fight begins. Also if that happened on the original show then Mills would make Sanz the winner right off the bat. Mills ends up reviving Farley several times. Finally Chris goes for a move killing Horatio off.
To sum it off they allowed Farley to cheat with no real fight going on. By the time something happened it was already decided at that point making this match a total waste of time. Even a few bad matches in the original show was better than this. Oh wait there is another match in this version that comes nearly as bad.
This so happens to be the only match to be done on both shows. Shaquille O'Neal vs. Kobe Bryant was so great in the original show. WOW they quickly ruined the newer version like no tomorrow. Everything about that match was horrible. The closest second match in a sense to happen on both shows does involve Tommy Lee & Pamela Anderson.
In the original show Tommy Lee fought pornstar Ron Jeremy in one of the absolute most controversial fights ever. Pamela Anderson won against Rupaul in Death Bowl '98 episode. She later comes back to fight Heather Locklear with a twist. Pamela has to attempt saving her ex Tommy Lee from a bunch of hungry monkeys.
In a weird way they chose to put Tommy Lee against Pamela Anderson. Some celebrities from the original show got to fight newer celebrities. I should mention they attempted to try bringing more interest by allowing the viewers choosing fights to happen in future episodes. Only a handful of these happened during Season 6.
Oddly enough I did vote for Ashlee Simpson vs. her old nose match. Originally I thought she was going to beat herself up like a similar fight in the original show with Nicholas Cage lol. Nope it turns out they turned her old nose into a giant talking nose seriously that's not funny. They had a new interviewer but she was simply Debbie in disguise in how she acts.
Yes I know she was her own original character but they sure played on what the original show did with Debbie. Some of these fights had twists that doesn't even make sense. The perfect example was Ludacris & Cris Angel along with their opponent R. Kelly & Kelly Clarkson got tricked getting inside a machine.
This machine cut all four of them in half then quickly attached them together. In other words we got two incredibly different celebrities forced to fight literately together against a similar team. I really wonder what the hell have they been smoking because this would count as they all lose. In a sense, all of them died briefly to be revived by force for this fight.
Also they simply don't do this fight period instead giving us another dead historical figure. Stone Cold is also not a part of this show, oh man that really pisses me off. Most matches didn't have unique twists at all. Their reasons for each fight doesn't add up. Yes I know in some cases of the original show, some fights happened without that still end up great.
To me it felt like almost all of it was really not worth my time at all. They ruined everything about it, they didn't even do Johnny & Nick right. This version is an insult to us classic Deathmatch fans. Easily one of the absolute worst animated shows I had the displeasure of watching. There is virtually no reason at all to check it out.

The Evolution of Mini Games in Resident Evil series
Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I won't be covering all the mini games within Resident Evil franchise. I will be covering similar mini games from the original up to Resident Evil VII: Biohazard. I felt it is about time someone do a topic like this. I always curious to see how some people may react to this. This could be confusing for many reasons but trust me there is a pattern to them all.
1. Battle Mode (Resident Evil Sega Saturn version only)
Not many versions of Resident Evil 1 had mini games. Sega Saturn was lucky to surprisingly become the beginning to a long tread of mini games. You play as Chris or Jill killing every enemy in each level. All the bosses are included with two exclusive enemies. A Wesker zombie aka the toughest zombie in the entire game to kill & golden Tyrant-002.
This particular version of Tyrant takes a lot more magnum shots to put down. Thankfully they reused his first boss fight otherwise this wouldn't be possible to complete. You have a timer as well as an ranking system. They threw all the enemies in one mini game. You can unlock it by entering a code or after beating the game.
2. Extreme Battle Mode (Resident Evil 2 later versions)
First available in the later PS1 release Resident Evil 2 Dualshock Edition. You get an extra mini game where you play as Leon, Claire, Ada and Chris. The first two levels is straight toward get to the end. The final level involves finding all the antivirus bombs. There are three difficulties you can choose to play.
Most of the enemies including two boss characters will be after you. It is easily to die on difficulty 3 for many reasons. If you aren't use to any scenarios of the campaign you won't survive this. I also believe some later ports got this mini game like GameCube version. Easily one of the best mini games of this series on PS1.
3. The Mercenaries Operation: Mad Jackal (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis)
Believe it or not, it was RE3 not RE4 that started The Mercenaries tread. Although RE4's The Mercenaries did led to it's popularity exploding. You play as Carlos, Mikhail or Nicholas, Umbrella mercenaries in the city. Most enemies are present including a few versions of Nemesis. It is even possible two of them can be in the same area.
You must reach the end before the timer runs out or it's game over. You can dodge or kill enemies adding slightly more time to the timer. You also can get some good stuff by saving people. Doing good enough in this mini game gives you great unlockables for the campaign. This alone makes you truly feel like an mercenary.
4. Battle Game (Resident Evil Code: Veronica X)
Not to be confused with Saturn's port Battle Mode. Battle Game has two versions of Claire, Chris, Steve and Wesker fighting through hordes of enemies. You can play this in third or first person mode. Most of the enemies are present with a twist for each character's bosses. All of them have a different boss creature waiting for them in mostly different areas.
Both of Claire's bosses share the same location. Wesker can only use a knife just like Nicholas in that mini game. There is a timer that keeps going until you die or win. Yes there is an ranking system with a difficult to unlock weapon. There is also a bonus room that rarely gives you an magnum. Some areas is nearly impossible to not get hit.
5. Leech Hunter (Resident Evil 0)
Some may feel like it doesn't exactly belong here. I feel like it should be for many reasons. You play as Rebecca and Billy collecting two different colored leeches. More hunters than the campaign with two six slot inventories makes planning more necessary. Most of the enemies are present here. You do get to explore most of the facility.
Yes there is an ranking system where time doesn't matter but the amount of leeches you collected does. You can unlock a lot of stuff for the campaign. It does a great job keeping you on the edge at most times. Leech Hunter doesn't have many key items. Sometimes you could get a submachine gun or an magnum.
6. The Mercenaries (Resident Evil 4)
The Mercenaries has Leon, Ada, Hunk, Kauser and Wesker as playable characters. You can play all four levels trying very hard to unlock the handcannon for the campaign. You only increase your timer by getting more clocks. There also alternate clocks for adding up the score in a short amount of time. You won't know how much points until the combo ends or you win.
After getting enough points, the bosses will come after you. Only two of them can instantly kill you. More than one can appear at a time making things more difficult. You also get character moves that do help save ammo. Two out of five characters lacks a knife forcing you to break stuff by wasting ammo.
7. The Mercenaries & The Mercenaries Reunion (Resident Evil 5)
Originally The Mercenaries was going to be a lot bigger. But due to time constraints they had to split it up into two mini games. The later portion is called The Mercenaries Reunion adding more characters while changing some of the mechanics to make things easier. There also exist what used to be PC exclusive The Mercenaries No Mercy where you will quickly be over whelmed by enemies.
More recently in RE5 remastered they combined both The Mercenaries & The Mercenaries Reunion into The Mercenaries United. They also included within it No Mercy variation of it. This also allows you to play with characters from the other Mercenaries mini game together. Also doing character moves helps increase time quickly making it a lot easier to score big.
8. Raid Mode (Resident Evil: Revelations)
Raid Mode has three recreations of the campaign with almost every enemy present with an exclusive one. There is also a hidden level called Ghost Ship that allows you on your own or with a partner to fully explore the ship. Some levels are strictly timed making getting their medals very difficult. Trust me it will continue to get harder as it goes on.
You got a lot of characters to play as. You also get some nice costumes for majority of them. All of them have their own moves to help against enemies. You also have to deal with particular types of enemies including boss type that is all three in one. You can replay the levels as many times you need to stock up on stuff.
9. The Mercenaries (Resident Evil 6)
The Mercenaries made doing character moves even easier in this mini game. On PC version you also can play as the cast of Left 4 Dead 2 with two of their boss zombies present. You get a lot of characters & costumes to play around with. Plenty of levels to keep you busy for hours among hours. It works very similar to RE4 & RE5 with a few key changes like hidden bosses.
They lowered the amount needed to complete the level for The Mercenaries No Mercy by ten. Which means you only have to kill three hundred enemies instead of RE5's four hundred enemies. Originally this had residentnet.net support greatly affecting how you get costumes. In RE6 remastered you have to do very good at Onslaught & Predator to get those costumes.
10. Raid Mode (Resident Evil: Revelations 2)
Raid Mode as stated in my recent comparison of Raid Mode mini games plays more like The Mercenaries. You get a lot of characters to play as with a couple costumes. A lot of levels taking hours to fully complete them all. All the enemies are present in this mini game. For some odd reason for some levels it plays RE6's The Mercenaries theme song.
Some of the roster even feels like The Mercenaries because several characters are in those too. You can upgrade your weapons and parts being a time consuming process. You also get a store to help you in so many ways. This is easily one of my favorite underrated Resident Evil mini games to date. Raid Mode does have some timed levels as well as some timed event missions.
11. Jack's 55th Birthday (Resident Evil VII: Biohazard)
Jack's 55th Birthday has a timer you can't do much about. You can add stuff to increase some stuff you can do. In the end you have to play it smart to score big. If you know how to get SS ranks, you are great at this. You have to deal with most enemies including his wife. There's six levels with two versions of each area.
You often hear Jack saying random stuff. Guess what the goal isn't to survive but to give Jack enough food. You have to know the food combinations that scores big with him. Although it will be difficult trying to do that strategy. Sometimes you have to defeat particular enemies to unlock areas. There is times you aren't sure where gets unlocked after by defeating one of them.
I wondered how many of you noticed the pattern before reading this section. Most of them to some degree are timed in some way. You get to face most enemies of their respective games. You unlock great stuff for mostly the campaign. Although Jack'ss 55th Birthday, most of it's unlockables adds to more stuff you can use in it.
All of them even the easiest among of them will put you on the end to fully complete them. Sometimes it doesn't matter if there isn't many characters or a lot of them. As long it plays great giving me plenty of reasons to keep coming back then that's all that matters. Each mini game brought something new to the experience.
Extreme Mode in the first two levels pretty much get to the end. The final level involves collecting four antivirus bombs. Which sorta came back for Leech Hunter collecting the leeches. The Mercenaries Operation: Mad Jackal gave us ways to increase the timer. Resident Evil 4's The Mercenaries adds bosses coming after you once you're within their score range.
Resident Evil 5's The Mercenaries mini game allows your moves to help more out by adding time. The closest to that was dodging them in RE3's The Mercenaries. Raid Mode allows you to explore more often in most levels. Jack's 55th Birthday has unlockables to make getting an S rank or SS rank much easier.
The entire point of this blog is all of these mini games together are an evolution of their core mini game experience. All of them combine could make an truly amazing Resident Evil game. I felt all of them does serve a purpose or two for later mini games. I would go as far to say these hold up better than their actual campaigns combined.
Yes I know what a bold statement I just made. I honestly felt like anyone in time can play them. They give you just enough to help get you started. All of them continued something from Battle Mode of Saturn port. In a way how the entire franchise owes so much to Sweet Home on Famicom. All of them together is the reason why most of us are a fan in the first place.

Which is better Raid Mode in Revelations 1 or 2?
Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I played hours among hours of Raid Mode in both Revelations games. Of course the one question that comes to mind is which Raid Mode was better? This is exactly why I'm going to do on my blog for folks that's interested. Now keep in mind this could easily get a little confusing for those not familiar with both Raid Mode mini games.
Revelations 1 Raid Mode
Raid Mode is just what you think. Your goal is eliminate every enemies & raid parts of the ship. There is no actual story to this mini game at all. To me each complete set for all three difficulties are great recreations of the campaign. In fact I would even go as far to say they're much better. You really need to work hard to get far in this mini game.
Revelations 2 Raid Mode
Raid Mode plays more like The Mercenaries than the previous game's Raid Mode. Let me explain you get some characters that have been in The Mercenaries mini games & spin off games. RE6's The Mercenaries theme do play in several levels. The overall feel of it is very similar to those mini games. Although it has plenty of differences to help separate it from those.
Round 1: Level layouts
In Revelations 1, each difficulty has different levels with similar layouts. In Revelations 2, you are playing the same exact levels on all difficulties. In Revelations 1, every level has a nice picture to help give you an idea what you're dealing with. Sadly in Revelations 2, you don't get any pictures. Levels in Raid Mode are noticeably longer than those in Raid Mode of Revelations 2.
There is a lot more levels in Revelations 2. Unfortunately very little of it takes from Revelations 1 and 2. You would never guess Resident Evil 6 had the biggest inspiration on it. I would say around 85% is covered in RE6 theme levels. In Revelations 1, it only took from Revelations 1 for the most part.
I should mention unlike Raid Mode in Revelations 2, there is a bonus level for Revelations 1. Often considered to be the toughest level in all of Raid Mode to complete. You get to explore the entire ship with enemies of all levels. It is highly recommended to have close to max level weapons, plenty of herbs and playing with another great player.
One interesting fact if you aren't on level 50 you end the level by beating the final boss. But if you are on level 50 after beating him. You have to face a even tougher version of that boss to complete the level. Basically this level is like putting the entire game into one huge level. Now that's pretty mind blowing & impressive.
In Revelations 2, most levels are in a gauntlet of six levels. The only exceptions are Gauntlet 9 and Gauntlet Omega. Gauntlet 9 is four dlc levels that isn't well balanced. Gauntlet Omega is just one level with 12 enemies including that game's final boss. There is two endings for Revelations 2 but it is a lot of work to get them both.
In Revelations 1, there's four medals for every level. Don't get hit, beat the level being three levels below it and kill every enemy. By doing those three you get get the final medal. In comparison, there's five medals for every levels. Don't use herbs, complete mission at or below level, and complete the mission.
By doing all four of those you will get the fifth medal. You will be surprised how much easier it is to do this. Basically there are some clear differences. In Revelations 1, you have to be three levels lower than the recommended level. In Revelations 2, you could be the same level as it or one level lower. I got to be honest it just feels right getting them in Revelations 1.
They made the conditions for the medals in Revelations 2 too easy. I felt I had to really work for those medals in Revelations 1. Also in Revelations 2 by completing enough missions not fully having all the medals can unlock other gauntlets. Which means you don't have to fully get them all to get both endings.
You do need to get every medal in Revelations 1 to complete it. Some levels especially Ghost Ship can be challenging. Let's be honest most Capcom fans prefers a experience similar to arcade experience than what felt like they're letting us win. Don't get me wrong I like both Raid Modes with an passion however I simply have more reason caring for Revelations 1's.
Winner: Raid Mode of Revelations 1
Round 2: Store
In Revelations 1, the prices of everything is very high. Let me put it this way you have to keep getting a lot of medals for the money to add up. Which by itself is putting a lot on you in the process. There is no easy way of getting money in this mini game. In vice versa, the money situation is quite the opposite.
You earn points for replaying levels in the campaign to get one of three different gold amounts. The highest being fifty five thousand in gold for ten thousand points. Also the prices for the most part are much lower. If your money is too low to play a mission. Simply wait for daily missions to help you out since they don't cost any money to play.
Unfortunately due to some mechanics got altered in placement of things. I can't fully go into how to increase your grenades and herbs amount yet. In Revelations 1, you can get max level weapons in the store. In Revelations 2, you can only buy from level 1 to level 95 weapons. If you want higher than those weapons you have to know which levels to constantly replay to get them.
Now isn't that annoying you have to play attention to a few levels on Code Red difficulty. Search the huge cases possibly for hours hoping you might find a level 100 weapon. All of this is incredibly tedious in every sense of the word. It is difficult to decide which Raid Mode store ends up being better out of the two.
Both of them has the option to refill everything. Pretty expansive to do so in Revelations 1. Buying weapons is doable for both mini games. Revelations 1 does have one major edge in this category. You can freely remove custom parts to any weapon at any given time. In comparison once you put one of those on your weapon.
You aren't able to take it off without stealing that part. You heard correctly you have to buy to remove any parts you added to your weapon even if it got on there by accident. Now that's a great reason to not carelessly put stuff on your weapons. It is also a stupid reason because it could've been a high level of that part taking hours to get it that high.
In other words let's say you put it on any slightly lower than level 100 weapons. But you knew you needed that for your level 100 weapon. The game is flat out telling you too bad it's useless now. As much time I put into Revelations 2's store in general. Flaws like this does hurt it in a comparison. To sum it up despite being the more expansive out of the two.
Revelations 1's Raid Mode does give you another reason to play it better. Not just for getting at least two medals at a time. You also can get a lot of in game money to help you out. Believe it or not, you could replay easier levels for hours getting a lot more money than Revelations 2 on a great day. I'm not kidding in that regard I have to give the win to Revelations 1 for being better balanced.
Winner: Raid Mode of Revelations 2
Round 3: Characters
In Revelations 1, almost every characters is from the game. The only exception being Hunk with two different versions you can play as. In Revelations 2, most playable characters are from the game. They also have Leon, Chris, Jill, Hunk and Albert Wesker. Add in Cipher being the AI of this program Alex Wesker created that's all the characters.
The process unlocking characters & costumes is very different between both mini games. In Revelations 1, you have to very good to get them all. You literately need every medal in every level to do that. Which is going to be a challenge. In vice versa, some characters can be unlocked by getting completion medals.
Some characters will appear by beating Episodes 2 to 4 in their entirely. Evgeny will become playable in Raid Mode by beating The Struggle. Very few unlockables applies to completing a few levels in Raid Mode on a particular difficulty. Which does include Alex Wesker and two costumes for Claire & Moire respectively.
Both rosters of characters does fit the theme of their mini games. I should mention both Raid Mode got dlc characters. In Revelations 1, you have to pay for Lady Hunk & Rachel Ooze. In Revelations 2, you have to pay for Albert Wesker, Hunk and Evgeny. But some characters also got other characters in the form of costumes.
Cipher got two Lottie characters that can be annoying to see around. Pedro got his mutant appearance which I prefer out of the two. The weird case is Gina that has Jessica, Rachel and Lady Hunk as costumes from Revelations 1. I felt you really get better costumes in Revelations 1. A handful of characters doesn't get more than one outfit.
Most playable characters can have up to two or three costumes. Hell I am just going to say it I love these costumes. Not only they're fitting to their respective characters but adds more appeal to the experience. Honestly costume wise it easily goes to Revelations 1 but I do prefer the roster of Revelations 2.
I also kinda prefer the character selection in Revelations 2 more. Although how they did it in Revelations 1 does give you slightly easier access to their costumes. In a twisted fate I sorta have to go for Revelations 2. A better roster of characters and easier to work character selection. Plus remember what I said back in Round 2.
In Revelations 1, you have to increase overall fire power, getting more herbs and abilities. Slightly more herbs in Revelations 1 being fourteen compared to Revelations 2's nine herbs. Combining custom parts is made much easier in Revelations 2. The same spot also allows you to increase a level 100's capabilities.
Such as how fast it fires, how powerful it is, how fast it reloads or how much ammo. Trust me this gets pretty ridiculous fast. I also like when the game will tell you the option of upgrading it further is no longer possible. Why is that important because you can increase fire power to several types of weapons in Revelations 1.
I believe you can do this process up to thirty times before you can't anymore. Sure in a way it has an advantage over Revelations 2. But we're doing it beyond your wildest imagine on level 100 weapons. You simply can't believe how ridiculous you can make them folks. Also considering the cheap nature of Code Red it does even that out a bit.
Winner: Raid Mode of Revelations 2
Round 4: residentevil.net support
Both Revelations games are supported by residentevil.net. In Revelations 2, you can buy one of three different colored chests. Ranging from one thousand points for bronze chest, five thousand points for silver chest and twenty five thousand points for gold chest. But it randomly puts weapon parts in them making you are more likely to waste a lot of points.
Now going back to Round 1, you also can send 50,000 gold per a thousand points. You can only send twenty items at a time. But you can later sent more out while you still have a waiting period. In Revelations 1, you can use points to send weapons, parts and cases. The cases are more likely to have something good than those chests in Revelations 2.
Also by allowing us to send up to level 25 to level 30 weapons early on does help. Although you need to be leveled up to them first before using while Revelations 2 doesn't have that problem. Revelations 1 may not get help with money from the service. It does help more in the experience by the way it is set up.
Winner: Raid Mode of Revelations 1
Round 5: Leveling
I already talked a little about it in other rounds. In Revelations 1, regardless which character you are playing as. Everyone does share the same level you are currently with the maximum being level 50. In Revelations 2, every character has their own leveling system. They increase the maximum level to level 100.
It takes a long time to get up to their maximum levels. But a pro player could get up to level 50 in Revelations 1 faster than leveling every character to level 100 in Revelations 2. In a way it does like this you can own higher level weapons & stuff. But you need to level up to that level before using that giving you more reason to level up.
In comparison, there is little reason to level up. You can play levels being a few levels lower than the recommended. This has no real affect on all of it's unlockables. The closest reason anyone would want to be level 100 is further upgrading level 100 weapons. Although they are more expansive than RE4 and RE5's handcannon upgrades combine.
I am honestly not kidding it likely will cost you more than your limbs to do this. Which will force you at some point to slow down to get more gold. The overall process of fully doing this is simply a double edged sword. On one hand it will help you take down the toughest of enemies at the cost of your back up funds.
To sum it up some costumes in Revelations 1 does require you to be on several levels to unlock. Thus giving me more reason to care about the leveling. I really don't feel the same about it on Revelations 2. It just felt like a missed opportunity that's better than Dead Rising 4 and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
Winner: Raid Mode of Revelations 1
Despite not having a story although it was obviously recreating the campaign three times. Raid Mode in Revelations 1 is a better overall experience even with it's flaws. Yes it does require you to be more on your game but the rewards truly make the experience. Also I really couldn't look past Raid Mode on Revelations 2 using way too much RE6 with so little of it's own game.
Even the final boss of Revelations 1 ends up being used better. In comparison, you fight the same exact boss late in the campaign of Revelations 2. Sometimes she might get a power up or two but it doesn't change much. Everything about Raid Mode in Revelations 1 is really worth giving a try. I could recommend Raid Mode of Revelations 2 but come on this was almost a land slide.
Winner: Raid Mode of Revelations 1
Revelations 1 Raid Mode
Raid Mode is just what you think. Your goal is eliminate every enemies & raid parts of the ship. There is no actual story to this mini game at all. To me each complete set for all three difficulties are great recreations of the campaign. In fact I would even go as far to say they're much better.
Top 10 Guest Horror Movie Villains that should be in Dead by Daylight
Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, still hard to believe four horror movie villains are already in Dead by Daylight. A game that gets compared to Friday the 13th: The Game very often being divided. I felt I should do something a little different. I want to make a blog of possible future killers that may be coming to it in the near future.
Of course this game has plenty of original survivors & killers. I felt the demand for more horror movie villains is constantly growing. It is being treated similar to Mortal Kombat series in that regard I'm not kidding. When I first heard of this game I didn't think much of it. Oh man I am glad I looked into it afterwards.
I'm sure everyone has their own list on this topic. This will be strictly my top alone not inspired by anyone else's. I really put a lot of thought into how they could work in this game. This is as close of in your face pitch to the team I'm going to do. I'm positive they got their work cut out for them since they are also doing another game soon.
10. Leprechaun from Leprechaun series
Some may consider this a joke choice. Let's be honest it would be perfect to have him for many reasons. The most obvious reason we do need some kind of dark humor within Dead by Daylight. Just enough it is still incredibly dark but at the same time you could get a laugh. Of course St. Patrick's Day has also become a day it is recommended to watch his movies.
I know I really don't need to say this but please give us any of the Warwick Davis' leprechauns. He is a magical creature capable of ridiculous things. Leprechaun can teleport around the map with a lot of powers can be included within your skills for him. Sure he may not look or act scary but comedy horror sometimes makes a huge difference.
9. Warlock from Warlock series
Warlock is attempting to end the world. To be honest I almost went with Wishmaster until I noticed a few flaws with him. This guy can attack people at a distance as well as flying and magic stuff. Hell it is in the name after all. Warlock could freeze one or two survivors at the most with a particular move. Hell he doesn't even need to directly carry you since he has powerful magic.
The big problem with him is obviously how can we limit his abilities down enough for it to be fair. The last thing they want is no one can win against him in their game. Warlock would bring so much craziness with him. They would have their choice of what should be the map from his movies too. Trust me we do need a magical killer in this game.
8. Dr. Hannibal Lecter
Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a cannibal that understands other serial killers. This guy got a couple of movies and a show. I think it would be scary if Lecter starts the match in what he's wearing in the picture above. When the match begins Lecter breaks free of it to go after the survivors. I believe his kill move will be him eating you to death.
Obviously this should look like Sir Anthony Hopkins since no one has done the character better. Dr. Hannibal Lecter could say some great lines to throw you off your game. I think one of his moves should be him charging at you from a short distance very fast. I felt he can hold his own against the other two medical workers already in the game for many reasons.
7. Evil Ash from Evil Dead series
Maybe a odd choice but in a way it could work. Evil Ash is Ash's darkside that got his own bodies. Counting Ash vs. Evil Dead, Ash defeated three different Evil Ashs. You should get a chainsaw hand & his boomstick as weapons. I know the good Ash has a lot of fans but it would be difficult bringing him & the deadnites in at the same time.
Unless you went with Evil Ash that does both of those things. This guy is easily one of the nastiest horror movie/show villains I have ever seen. I hope they do with the original Evil Ash's final look from Army of Darkness. Hell if we are lucky maybe Bruce Campbell might voice the character one last time for us.
6. Candyman from Candyman series
A vengeful ghost that truly wants love. Candyman may have different versions to how he came to be this way. All of them maintains his love for a woman that led to people being disgusted by it. Candyman can use bees to weaken the survivors. Obviously his hook is going to do some damage to them.
Considering he is a ghost, he can teleport around the map. I hope they can get the actor to requote some of his greatest lines. Candyman is still terrifying to a lot of people. Of course I should mention saying his name five times at a mirror. He will appear to kill you right afterwards. They could do a lot with him that could work for Dead by Daylight.
5. Ghostface from Scream series
Oh hell yes Ghostface is another huge request people want in Dead by Daylight. Of course I have my own reasons. In everything Scream one or more people are dressed in costumes killing people. The basic plot is they are using the excuse of staging every murder right off horror movies for revenge. In some way ever killer had something against Sidney's mother.
This concept could be used within the game. Ghostface could appear as one of the survivors at first. At some point they have to change into the costume to kill people. They rarely kill anyone without wearing it. I would fall out of my chair if they get the guy behind his famous voice. They even could bring the cell phone calls in as a way to disturb you from what's coming next.
4. Maniac Cop from Maniac Cop series
We have two evil medical workers going around killing people. I felt we needed a corrupt cop that would put fear into people. I really couldn't think of anyone better for the job than Matt Cordell aka Maniac Cop. OMG the stuff he does in all three movies is something else. He isn't afraid to kill innocent people on the spot.
Personally if he does make it in the game please go with his look from Maniac Cop 2. Easily the scariest look among all three of them. Officer Cordell does have some crazy weapons & abilities. Honestly the police in general does scare some people. This guy would make a great addition to the game.
3. The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers
The Creeper could get a map based on the first movie. When he gets close that song plays you know similar to Michael Myers or Jason in his own game. The Creeper is known for setting traps to capture people. I think they could allow him to fly just high enough it wouldn't be considered cheating. We already have a few killers that float long distances in short period of time.
This creature already has a great urban legend story behind him. A lot of people really want The Creeper to be in Dead by Daylight. They could allow him to remove his clothes to truly bring out the terror. The Creeper has a couple of possible weapons he could be bringing with him. I felt they should include The Creeper in this game it is almost like bread & butter.
2. The Tall Man from Phantasm series
The Tall Man is rising the dead to kill off the living. It isn't exactly clear what being The Tall Man actually is. What we do know is he has some scary abilities that would work perfectly in this game. In a sense he could use a device to teleport around the map. He could summon some of his minions to over whelm the survivors.
His kill move could be him sending one of those orbs after you with a painful death. The Tall Man is already known for being very mysterious. Let me put it this way if they don't get Slenderman. The Tall Man would probably be the next best thing. This guy can easily lift or throw a human with ease. I felt there really is a lot they could do with him.
1. The Thing from The Thing series
Easily the best pitch I can throw out to the team. You guys are aiming to scare people while playing. In my mind nothing is scarier than this creature. The Thing is a parasite alien that can shape shift into animals & humans near perfectly. This by itself allows a major opportunity to really surprise people. Considering that you could have The Thing transform into any survivor currently in match.
Yes a killer character that also temporary has traits of a survivor character makes one hellish combination. The paranoia would already be high knowing it is in the match. At the same time you won't have much to go on to know which survivor is actually the creature. The Thing can move several creepy ways.
If that's not good enough then please allow me to throw out what I think is the single greatest reason. For being The Thing in Dead by Daylight in the near future. Currently you don't have any shape shifters or aliens. Both of them does have a lot of fans it would be the perfect way making them happy.

Future projects I would love to do
Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I did a blog similar to this one before. I will give you some ideas what I would love to cover on my blog. Some of this was originally meant to be a surprise. There could be a blog coming out this Halloween. It all depends on several things including stuff I can't control. Oh man where to begin with.
A good number of these are planned for October. I am not doing a marathon this year but I will try to make up for it. Hopefully next year I can with a twist. I got plenty of ideas for possible blogs I can be writing. For me it is more natural than making videos. You can't exactly edit a video after it gets uploaded.
Halloween blog
Friday the 13th: The Game vs. Dead by Daylight
Yes I am well aware of both games. Their concepts involves a killer trying to kill everyone. Players can also play as the survivors trying to escape or out last the time limit. Of course the differences are quickly piling up. I should mention due to a law suit, Friday the 13th: The Game wasn't able to finish. What I meant by this is some dlcs including Jason X stuff never made it to the final game.
I don't want to give too much away. Right now I can only judge Friday the 13th because of it's offline modes. Don't worry I plan on getting Gold within the next few months before I even start writing. I am also aware this topic is all over the internet. How the hell am I going to make this any different? I guess you have to wait & see to find out.
Resident Evil: Revelations 1 vs. 2 Raid Mode
I got so back tracked over many things in the last few years. I really wanted to cover to the best of my ability. Both Revelations games Raid Mode since they're very different from each other. The Mercenaries didn't change that much from each other. I would say both of them are easily the best part of their respective games.
You would be amazed how difficult it is to break both of them down within the same blog. Imagine the infamous stair case you know the one that's all over the place. Now add enemies trying to kill you with Michael Bay explosions there you go. I will say this it is going to be a lot of fun making this soon.
Why I hit Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite so hard?
I already made two comparison blogs with this & DC's Injustice 2. Everyone knows how amazing Injustice 2 truly is. I honestly went into Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite the same way to quickly be disappointed. This game shouldn't even be considered as Marvel vs. Capcom 4 for great reasons. It is sad the development took place in the middle of 20th Century Fox's purchase.
You see 20th Century Fox had X-Men, Deadpool and the Fantastic Four movie rights. Very recently Disney made a deal with them. Sadly this should've came sooner since this game doesn't even have Wolverine. A character that's in every MVC game including both games that inspired this series. How the hell can you call it MVC without any X-Men characters?
The rest of the blogs related to Killer Toys Collection
The main reason I haven't finished this series of blogs is simply I haven't seen Annabelle: Creation. Until I do, this series is on hold. Don't worry I already know how to end it when the time comes. Eventually I'll get a third collection from Bloodwave DVD. Honestly I'm very happy with the first two DVD collections.
I am still trying to bring more horror movies into my blog. It is a never ending passion with no true equal. These collections allow me to be even more of a horror movie fan than I could before. Of course if you wish to have them make you a custom 24 movie collection I can help you out. Trust me you really won't be disappoint when it arrives to your house.
Friday the 13th: The Game review
Let's be honest this isn't the first Friday the 13th game in existence. Thanks to Joe from Same Name, Different Game with his Friday the 13th episode. This is technically the third game before a fourth puzzle game came out. Hell I am going to just say it there isn't many good games based on horror movies.
Evil Dead got some good games with Bruce Campbell doing the character again. Damn I miss Ash vs. Evil Dead show it was awesome. This is a rare case that the game being this good. A couple free dlcs made it to most versions. Recently confirmed two special editions with all dlcs will be hitting stores in a few months.
Dead by Daylight review
Ever since Call of Duty & Mortal Kombat had some guest horror movie characters. The team behind Dead by Daylight decided to continue the tread. Alright having Michael Myers, Leatherface, Amanda from Saw and Freddy Krueger. Yes all of them in the same game is already mind blowing. I heard possibly more is getting added to the game with no real end in sight.
Sadly I have to wait to get Gold before I can even play the game. Both me and my wife wanted to give it a try. Of course being a huge horror movie fan I'm very excited about it. Dead by Daylight is always compared to Friday the 13th: The Game. I am glad a team is allowed to have these characters with their own original ones.

Death Battle Fight Prediction: Carnage (Marvel) vs. Lucy (Elfen Lied)
I just wanted to point out since I do talk a great deal about both characters especially in the verdict. I won't be doing feats section to further surprise people. Of course you can look those up on online if you choose to.
For Lucy sorry I tried to find something better folks...

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I know a while back I said I wasn't going to do anything related to Death Battle anymore. But this is an unusual case I have to do something. This will be my final Death Battle blog prediction. I will try my best to not over complex what I found during my research. I am a huge fan of both these characters.
Cletus Kasady aka Carnage
Cletus was a serial killer in prison until unexpectedly a symbiote enters a cut on his hand. This transformed Kasady into the mad man Carnage. The symbiote itself was an offspring of Venom. Who shares many Spider-Man & Venom's abilities with plenty of his own powers. Over the years Carnage has done unspeakable things even for a comic book villain you would be amazed they allowed it.
Lucy aka Nyu aka Kaede
There were reports of women slaughtering people. At the very core these people were actually part of an almost extincted species. Most of them has horns with several vectors that are dangerous long arms. Lucy is often considered to be the most dangerous of their kind. A world that truly doesn't understand her kind to the point it kept ending badly for everyone.
Powers & Abilities
Carnage
1. Superhuman Strength around 80 tons likely to be higher
2. Superhuman Durability
3. Superhuman Stamina lasting up to a whole day
4. Superhuman Speed
5. Superhuman Agility
6. Superhuman Reflexes
7. Regenerative Healing Factor
8. Wall Crawling
9. Genetic Memory
10. Constituent-Matter Generation
11. Shapeshifting
12. Empathy
13. Immune to all diseases
Carnage is an offspring of Venom having all of his & Spider-Man's powers. His default stats is higher than both of them combined. Originally a serial killer before truly becoming a stuff of nightmares. Why does that sound so familiar lol.
Lucy
1. Superhuman Durability
2. Superhuman Reflexes
3. Limited Healing Factor
4. Vectors
Lucy is meant to be the end of mankind revealed late in the manga. Often considered the most dangerous among her own. Ever since child hood the pile of bodies kept on growing through out the years. Her vectors are transparent long arms capable of easily ripping people in pieces.
Weaknesses
Carnage
Originally he did share two common weaknesses of his kind. Fire & high frequency sounds but thanks to Norman Osborn he became immune to them. Carnage does seem to get too cocky & arrogant. After removing weapons created from his body, they quickly break down. Although it is difficult to separate the symbiote from Kasady. Kasady himself does maintain a handful of powers.
However the symbiote is the reason most diseases including cancer isn't affecting Kasady. Which means if he leaves too long with his cancer, Kasady will die. According to the rules, both Kasady and his symbiote has to die for Lucy to win. Other than those Carnage doesn't have many serious weaknesses.
Lucy
Ever since surviving a shot meant for armored things followed by a fall shortly afterwards. Lucy's mind gain a new innocent not bright personally named Nyu. For awhile Nyu was out until Lucy comes out. Neither personality seems to have control over each other. There is times Nyu went away while Lucy came right out to fight.
This also means during a fight if Nyu comes out. Lucy will easily fight shortly afterwards. Also it turns out her horns are connected to her ability of using her vectors. If one or both of them are broken, she will lose that ability for a few hours. Also her durability may be higher than a normal person but guns can still kill her.
After much needed considering I have to side with Carnage in this fight. Before you start losing it like no tomorrow you should listen to what I need to say first before judging me. I should mention the verdict including breaking every little thing down. This is going to be lengthy even for a Death Battle prediction blog, please take breaks often to prevent going insane in the process thank you.

Verdict
Lucy's kind does have a virus that can affect people. As long Kasady is bonded to Carnage, he will be immune to it. Lucy seems to rely too much on her vectors during her fights. Sometimes she does get hurt tanking some force. But even with the statement by several characters of her being able to destroy the world.
Let's be honest the closest I seen to that was her destroying an island. Which is still impressive yet Carnage did survive being ripped in half while in space by Sentry for months. We are talking about a Superman class character that easily ripped him in half. At the same time Carnage was able to adapt to the situation & survived.
The same guy that fought World Breaker Hulk to his limits. Even if Lucy could destroy the world, she will only end up killing herself. Yes I know her vectors are now long enough to reach space. The vectors themselves aren't directly a part of her body. Therefore that shouldn't count towards her being in space. In vice versa, the symbiote allows Kasady not needing oxygen in space or underwater.
Carnage often laughs, says terrible things and even willing to do straight down evil things. The very thing Lucy hates about humanity in general. It is stated in her universe that her kind even at a young age are mental unstable. Lucy got bullied with a dog killed in front of her leading to her murders. It turns out Carnage has the power of empathy.
The same power that caused a man to go insane within seconds of Carnage using it. This means if Carnage uses it on Lucy, she's completely lose control. Lucy's vectors are connected to her horns. Believe it or not, Carnage does caught on to things especially during battles you wouldn't expect. Once he figures out he needs to destroy those horns, Lucy will lose her biggest advantage.
It actually gets much worse folks. As stated before Lucy's vectors have become long enough to reach around the world & up to space. At the same time, the faster they go the more visible they become. Carnage has his own version of the Spidey sense that will allow him stay on top of surprise attacks. Yes Lucy's vectors can simply pass through some things to hit her targets.
Difficult to believe one of Carnage's powers that many people isn't even aware of. He is able to see through any part of his body meaning if Lucy attempted to rip his eyes out. Carnage can technically still see her not even needing to wait for his eyes to regenerate. This also means he has plenty of ways even without his own Spidey sense to stay on top of whatever Lucy is doing.
In fact late in the story she is able to directly attack the nerve system. The problem with that is Carnage can control everything about his body I'm not kidding. He could shrink to possibly microverse size or after eating a cattle or something similar to become a giant. This also allows him to form weapons with his hands, from his body and many other things.
I should mention sometime after losing his giant size. He was able through an artifact to become a slightly smaller giant on his own. A slight chance Carnage might use it during the fight. If he does, Lucy will have trouble keeping Carnage away from her. Remember by altering his very body also comes with increasing his strength & durability at will not requiring anything at all.
This will allow him to easily tank even the most powerful blows Lucy is able to dish out. There is also a chance Carnage can use his web to trap her vectors. Probably won't last long but it will give him plenty of time. A lot less in comparison to Lucy since she isn't much faster than a normal person. Carnage's default speed is greater than both Spider-Man and Venom combined.
Carnage can increase his strength and durability simply altering his body. He also has the ability to create clones of himself that control anyone they bond with. You would be shocked which super heroes he got with that ability. By default Lucy isn't that much stronger on her own than a normal human.
Kasady does maintain some of his superhuman strength. Carnage by default can lift 80 tons slightly higher than Venom's original 75 tons. Although both characters has lifted many things over the years. Let's be honest Lucy haven't dealt with someone stated to be both faster than Spider-Man & Venom. Which is over elite athlete level.
Carnage by altering his own stats can make himself physically stronger, faster and tougher. He doesn't require anything to do that ability. Carnage can create weapons from his body that do quickly break down. At the same time they could help disrupt Lucy's flow of things. He can alter his hands into blade weapons being just as sharp while more durable than the actual weapons.
Lucy's regeneration does take it's toll on her. Near the end of her life, she gave it up to save someone she loves. Which ended up causing her to die much faster in the process. Carnage's regeneration so happens to have several important factors to consider. Carnage can regenerate from a single drop of blood.
Carnage symbiote itself feeds on negative emotions. Considering Lucy's past, it shouldn't surprise anyone that it would play against her. In fact one time he gain enough of it to fully regenerate. Obviously Carnage has much more combat & murder experience. He was a serial killer before becoming Carnage.
Carnage has a colorful history of killing people including children. He has never in the entire history of comics hesitated to kill anyone. In vice versa, Lucy has hesitated to kill a few people including the one she loves. She is used to seeing dead bodies centering her. Carnage once fooled Spider-Man faking his death to trick him getting too close before.
He also has tentacles & webs to help strict Lucy's movements combine with superior overall movements. Lucy is used to fighting vectors of her species. Most people that fights Carnage has difficulty dealing with his tentacles since he can easily add more of them. In the past, Lucy had trouble taking on a girl in a wheel chair that had slightly more vectors than her.
Death Battle did state Spider-Man's web could hold down the Hulk. You already know Venom's web is much stronger lasting around the same period of time. Carnage's web is more of his body make up than webbing making it much worse to get on you. Not only that just like Spider-Man and Venom, Carnage can quickly fire webs anyway he wants.
He could surprise crawling above her to quickly fire webs on her hands & feet forcing her in place. Regularly it takes one hour for Spider-Man's web to break down. Although it is likely less his web is more difficult to break than Venom's. Lucy would have trouble using her vectors breaking Carnage's webs.
Some versions of him has vampiric touch. He might be given the ability to feed directly off people. In this case it could help with his regeneration as well as affecting Lucy's. Let's talk about firearms Lucy is like a normal person when shot. The main reason we usually don't see that is using her vectors to protect herself.
In comparison, Carnage is basically bulletproof as most bullets fired bounces off of him. The big mistake Lucy will make is going straight for the kill from the beginning. Carnage is widely known for being unpredictable. Usually he does go straight for the kill or doing worse. Sometimes he loves to toy around with people while attempting to kill them.
At any given time the symbiote can separate from Kasady. People in the past had trouble removing the two from each other. The symbiote actually has some disturbing options to kill Lucy. Although Kasady could die from his stomach cancer during this when separated. If Carnage manages to cut her, he can separate from Kasady to go inside her through it.
When this starts the moment she actually notices it will be too late. One time the symbiote went up a guy's nose prior to killing him. Honestly folks I was very surprised this happened in canon myself. Another option is bonding with her to steal control then commit suicide. Her will may be strong but not stable enough mentally to regain control over him.
This also allows the symbiote to surprise attack Lucy. Even if she did notice & attacked the symbiote. It wouldn't do much to harm the creature. I should mention the obvious weaknesses most symbiote species has. In the past, Carnage was vulnerable to both fire & super sonic frequencies. Thanks to Norman Osborn aka the original Green Goblin cured him of those.
Which means Lucy can't cause explosions or make a loud enough noises to slow Carnage down. Technically Lucy is more vulnerable to both of these. Kasady and the symbiote are best friends that agree on everything. Not once in all possible canons did the two ever had a serious argument with each other.
In vice versa, Lucy after being shot with an armor piercing bullet to the head. Lucy gain a new innocent personality named Nyu. Whose very nice but not bright even messing up the simplest of things. Which doesn't translate well in combat. Also because her mind doesn't have enough control to keep Nyu away.
Let's say if Nyu's personality does come out. Carnage will quickly take the chance to kill Lucy faster than her original personally gaining control. Even if Lucy's personality returns in time. By this point Carnage already removed many possible ways of her fighting back. Let's talk about the most obvious in this fight.
Lucy is a long range fighter. At the start of the manga and anime, her vectors were two meters long. Obviously they're a lot longer late in the manga. Carnage can fight long, mid and short range since his shape shifting allows many possible options during combat. Lucy prefers to keep her targets at a distance.
Carnage always ends up being dangerously close to whoever holding their own against him. We're talking about a guy so evil not even The Joker in a crossover wants anything to do with him. Considering how evil The Joker is, this surprisingly quite an achievement in & off itself. Carnage held his own against his son Toxin whose physically the strongest of their kind on Earth.
The big problem with this fight is Lucy has way too long vectors trying to capture & kill Carnage. It is almost like having a over sized fly swatter trying to hit a very small fly. Considering he does have all of Venom's abilities at that point. He could bend into the environment they're fighting by becoming invisible.
Sadly since Elfen Lied has no real non canon material. I'm force to stick directly to canon with Carnage. Probably a good thing since in a non canon story. The symbiote bonded with the Silver Surfer. Late in the same story, he regain controls to fly right into the sun. Although Silver Surfer died from this, unexplained both Kasady and the symbiote survived.
The same story Carnage defeated several big name characters on his own twice. Yes mostly made possible due to Silver Surfer's god like powers. It was still worth mentioning since he was controlling a being that powerful yet had that much control over him. In canon, his symbiote can easily take control of anyone.
Yes I did note a non canon crossover between Marvel & DC. This particular feat has to be the one non canon feat I need to consider. A being so evil even someone as close as evil quickly being disgusted by him is truly mind blowing. This by itself will greatly affect Lucy during the fight.
I would've taken this feat as one of his greatest durability feats in this fight. But both of them have plenty experience fighting their own kind. One thing both of them has in common with each other is both their species being on the verge of extinction. Most of the world still doesn't quite know how dangerous they truly are.
Let's be honest the craziest among both their species is fighting each other on Death Battle. Yes Lucy did tank a blow sending her into a building. One time Carnage got sent flying by Venom from one end of the city to the other in one particular fight of theirs. Carnage's ability to adapt to most kind of situation being a regular trait of the symbiote ultimately puts the nail on Lucy's coffin.
Winner: Carnage
For Lucy sorry I tried to find something better folks...
