I will be doing the shorten fight prediction format, I apologize I'm leaving a lot out. I figured with the possible length of Verdict section. It might be better for those that just wanna know who I think wins. Of course, there's other people that really wanna read about that stuff too. Not to insult any of them directly, I just felt I wanna get this particular fight prediction out the way as quickly as possible.
Verdict
Denji
There's a lot of factors that goes into this fight. I'll be brutally honest, we're putting a normal set up character against a rather broken one. Even if Yuji had the stats advantage, he wouldn't win. For starters, Yuji is more of a strategist out of the two. Therefore with some of his techniques, he could use blood manipulation to bounce back from decapitation.
There's a few notable problems with cursed energy usage. Such as there's obviously a limited amount one can use. As shown in Gojo vs Sukuna's fight, a prolonged fight can cause brain damage. Although, they had a way to help prevent that as well as getting more cursed energy. We never seen Yuji prevent brain damage from using techniques for a notable period.
Therefore, it's debatable if he's experience enough to do so or not. Another factor is Sukuna later possessed Megumi for remainder of the story. Yuji was implied to be stronger than Sukuna. Ultimately Yuji destroyed the spiritual barrier between their souls plus his refusal to come back to his body. It quickly led to a disappointing death, someone had to say it.
We don't know if Yuji actually stronger than him or not either. He's more human in comparison to his opponent. Not only that, Yuji simply wouldn't know critical things to help him end the fight. One of which I don't think even possible for him. Which would involve ripping both their hearts out then swapped em.
There's a lot of problems with that situation. Assuming he actually rips Denji's heart out. He wouldn't know to turn Denji back to an human by swapping out hearts in the first place. Also there's clear limits to blood manipulation that could get in the way of Yuji trying it. You got to realize blood manipulation notably slows down blood flow in the body.
Simply removing his own heart could end up killing him instead. Even trying to use blood manipulation prior to doing that. As for Yuji destroying spiritual barriers thing. Sukuna took a lot of Black Flash hits for that to happen. We would need to assume the possibility an reality. Which in this particular case actually isn't at all.
You got to realize Sukuna possessing either Yuji or Megumi. He was forcing himself spiritually on another person's body. Which made any spiritual barrier of him possessing anyone partly unstable. It simply was never going to be whole. Thus, this is exactly why overtime Black Flash destroyed the spiritual barrier.
The big problem in this situation is a particular deal Pochita done to revive Denji. Basically, Denji is essentially incapable of staying dead regardless of the situation. He technically died over an hundred times in a particular training session. But wait there's more, devils simply need to drink just a little blood.
Sure Yuji can use blood manipulation to help prevent Denji getting some. But that's more of a temporary situation than anything else. A devil with most of it's body destroyed including hybrid forms can instantly regenerate among drinking blood. This is a game changer because Yuji has less effective methods to heal during combat.
Not only that, his deal with Pochita aka the Chainsaw Devil made their souls complete together. Yuji constantly hitting em with Black Flash simply won't do much to their spiritual barrier. We still haven't talked stats yet surprisingly. Ultimately it's kinda pointless because of another terrifying trait of devils.
The more feared an devil is by people, the more powerful it becomes. Some of which are essentially god like beings like the Falling Devil. They are nearly unkillable devils at that with insane stats. Let's put it this way, the Darkness Devil easily destroying people. What ended up saving them from death in hell was someone making a deal with that devil.
Another terrifying factor is if Pochita in control. The Chainsaw Devil has a ridiculous power. When devouring other devils, their concepts are wiped from existence. This means if that devil devours any devil regardless of a concept, anything related to it virtually no longer exist!!! In Yuji's case, he simply wouldn't exist in any form anymore.
Chainsaw Man is among the strongest devils that isn't the top class. His usage of chainsaws are kinda ridiculous too. It's almost Ghost Rider like how some of his powers works. Sure Denji isn't as smart or thinks things through like Yuji. Sadly, Yuji beyond the heart swapping situation lacks a solid way to put him down for good.
Denji also has another endurance feature among his powers. If you pull that cord on his chest, he can get going again. Also people cheering him on also helps with that. Which obviously works against causing fear to become stronger the more typical devil way. I'm not saying Yuji is weak by any means.
He held up against some tough opponents especially Sukuna. I hope Kenpachi puts him in the ground if that fight happens. Honestly, Yuji does have more techniques in comparison. At the same time, Chainsaw Man widely known for being harder to predict. His stats could destroy Yuji depending on how feared or cheered on he is.
I could be more direct about things. Yuji is a rather impressive character within his story. He's simply put against someone he had no real hopes of winning at all. Yuji simply going to be over whelm in this fight. Regardless if Denji or Pochita in control which would be worst here. They have a more strict kill method or rather how to make Denji mortal again.
Pochita in control destroyed some amazing devils & hybrids with ease in comparison. He even survived got sent into space than came back like nothing happened. I highly doubt Yuji could survive that. I'm still not done yet, Yuji and Denji prefers getting in close to their opponents. Which is very bad considering well everything Chainsaw Man can do.
End of the day, we got one amazing balanced character against another that's no longer balanced at all. No matter how you look at this fight. Yuji simply can't do much to delay the inevitable here. Chainsaw Man is full blown ridiculousness in comparison. Yuji virtually screwed from the start to win this fight.
