Why Johnny Gat would destroy Trevor Philips on Death Battle?

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, yes there was a secret reason why I wrote my recent Saints Row blog. I also felt because a lot of people are still requesting a particular GTA vs SR fight. We are talking about Johnny Gat from Saints Row series taking on Trevor Philips from Grand Theft Auto series. I strongly felt this is a huge stomp than an actual fight, which I will explain why.

I don't even think this deserves a more proper blog prediction style coverage. Obviously all of this is strictly my opinion. Yes I played all Saints Row games with Gat as well as GTA V. All I ask is please hear me out before you say anything. Also I will be revealing different takes to better display my entire argument to prevent confusion.

First off, it's obvious Trevor is only in GTA V. Gat is in five Saints Row games in a row no less. Thus there's a lot more to go on Johnny. I actually wanna start with the version of Johnny that I felt would destroy Trevor the fastest. Which would be him inside the main simulation of Saints Row IV. Yes other members of the Saints do receive super powers there as well.

The golden example what Gat could possibly do is Playa, their boss. I don't even need to cover the powers because Trevor is virtually screwed in a nut shell. The next not as powerful but still going to destroy him badly is Gat Out of Hell version. Gat & Kenzie while in Hell had a particular power in place of Telekinesis that could be over whelming.

I am talking about Summon where Gat can use it to summon Imps, Towers and Titans respectively. Two of them alone, Trevor would be virtually screwed. Keep in mind, GTA doesn't have super forms neither real aliens and demons. Gat can be a notable distance away from them too. Which means they don't disappear if you go too far in the game.

Both versions of Gat notably stomps in stats alone. I'm not considering infinite ammo otherwise Trevor's demise being even more guarantee. What I am considering though is more resistance to things like bullets, fire, explosions, vehicles and falling. Trevor has to use body armor but Gat packs more powerful weapons too.

Hell Gat can easily switch between his powers as well as weapons on the fly at a much faster rate. Gat is a lot faster slightly slower in Gat Out of Hell version. Both versions is way too fast for Trevor to keep up with. Super human strength to throwing people a very notable distance with ease. The same goes for powerful punches too making melee not a option for Trevor.

Even getting close to Gat can be fatal because of a particular power he has. Yes Buff & Aura is virtually the same power despite things. Gat also has weapons that easily destroys Trevor in record time especially including some of the Seven Deadly Sins weapons. Gat is virtually a tank with bullets, explosives, fire weapons and vehicles becoming useless due to being immune to all of them.

This greatly limits what Trevor could do if anything at all. Not to mention, Gat did defeat the Devil. A God with several millennia worth of experience. Gat also used to fighting gangs, law enforcement, aliens, and demons. Also it's no guarantee if Michael or Franklin might show up to help Trevor. Even if all three of them came together against Gat, they lose badly.

Also there's a huge chance being a member of the Saints as well as being Playa's best friend. Other members of the Saints could show up too. If Trevor wouldn't over whelm before, this would make it even more of an overkill. I hope by now you are starting to see how much of a stomp this fight actually is.

I still have a few other things I need to mention here. Like Gat was kidnapped by Zinyak then forced into his own simulation for a few months. The closest thing he experienced to Hell before actually going there. If he can survive such a fate, Trevor is in trouble. Gat also had to fight off aliens nude for a little while before returning to the Saints with a huge kill count of aliens.

Alright how would Trevor fare to Gat from the first two Saints Row games? Let's see he was a major factor in taking down a few gangs. He did helped fighting the police and Ultor too. I didn't mention Gat from Saints Row: The Third because his role was notably cut down. Durability wise, Gat got shot in the knee with a shotgun.

He still able to move around to a degree. Now something like this would've killed people in GTA universe. Gat also survived getting a fatal slab from a katana. It didn't take him long to get back on his feet but notably took longer than that shotgun blast. Again something that would've killed you in GTA universe.

I felt Gat would have more notable experience. He also nailed some impressive kills just in Saints Row 2 alone. Like a member of the gang Ronin rode past both him & Playa while wielding a katana. Gat ends up killing them with a single shotgun shot. Keep in mind, this person was a noble distance going away from them at the time of that shot.

There's also a direct attempt with two members of the gang Ronin tried killing Gat. He ended up killing both of them in style. This involved a car too making it more impressive since the said car wasn't actually used by Gat here. He had to time perfectly getting a hold of a opened car door before gunning them down.

Yes I know that's more of a speed feat but I don't see GTA characters doing stuff like that. Also confirmed early SR2, Gat on record killed nearly four hundred people. Even he knew he was very likely going to get the death sentence if Playa didn't interrupt the court process. One of the later SR games even states Gat is known for killing a lot of people.

There's also the issue of Trevor's mental state. Let's be honest, Gat as crazy he is. Well he has it more together even after Aisha's death than Trevor. Of course, both helped other people for ambitious plans. Gat wasn't afraid going that direction even in SR1. So I felt even limiting Gat down to the first two SR games, he wins.

You knew there had to be more right? There's a few alternate versions of Gat I wanna talk about. Like Zombie Gat, non canon zombie homie. Johnny Tag whose their play on DC's Bizarro concept with being a Gat clone that's more like a Brute. There's also Gat in Agents of Mayhem universe. I even felt all of them also would beat Trevor in a fight too.

Zombie Gat is a zombie version that still acts like the regular, alive version. This means the previous stuff I said for earlier SR games applies here. Yes I know this version actually appears in Saints Row: The Third. Gat did help with a heist earlier in that game's campaign. Before this "He's dead" but later revealed to be alive concept happened.

Johnny Tag has similar stats to Brutes. Brutes can easily throw people as well as push moving vehicles away. They also take a lot of punishment before going down from bullets to explosives. Just one of them is like nearly three vehicles worth of rival gangs alone. This is considering without any upgrades. Tag isn't that bright with memories being mix up.

It's easily to say his mental state actually worse than Trevor. At the same time, I don't think Trevor can take advantage of the situations because the Saints struggled doing the same in comparison. Plus Tag mostly uses his fist than anything else. Obviously, Trevor isn't going to survive anything Tag could do. So that's a stomp in itself too.

Now I gotta talk about Gat from Agents of Mayhem universe. He was a police officer that had to deal with fighting machines. Despite the notable changes, he actually compares stats wise to earlier Gat versions. Also being a cop, he will likely notice things faster than Trevor too. So I felt Trevor is going to lose but it's a more fair fight than some options I already discussed here.

I know some people wants GTA vs SR fights. However you may have to be extreme selective about choosing them. Otherwise we get stomps like this. Death Battle already done plenty of those. This would be similar to Tommy Vercetti vs Playa, you already know Playa easily wins more so. I just felt Saints Row universe might need a different franchise or two that's similar enough for a better fight.
