Collection Completionist achievement/trophy (Capcom Fighting Collection)

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, today I will be talking about a lengthy achievement within Capcom Fighting Collection. Where you must play through every game as every character. Now I will explain including surprises they thrown in you may not expect. This process will take a couple hours to fully do. Thankfully you don't need to do it all in one setting.

I do need to point some stuff regarding this achievement to help prevent confusion.

1. Yes you are playing several games as a lot of the same characters
2. You have to do all playthroughs across every games
3. It doesn't matter which Red Earth endings you do
4. Fighter Awards is tracking every playable character
5. In Hyper Street Fighter II, it doesn't matter which version of a character you do
6. Only Night Warriors and Red Earth doesn't have hidden characters
7. In Cyberbots, it doesn't matter which pilots as long you beat the game with every mech

Now we got that out the way I'm going to start with the original Darkstalkers working my way to Red Earth. I will bring up some critical information to help you get this achievement/trophy in the near future.

Darkstalkers
1. Demitri
2. Morrigan
3. Sasquatch
4. Jon Talbain
5. Rikuo
6. Lord Raptor
7. Felicia
8. Anakaris
9. Bishamon
10. Victor

Hidden characters
1. Huitzil
2. Pyron

Now you must activate the option within EX option to be able to select the bosses. The first four characters on the left side of the character selection you can go either up or down. After doing that left or right then there you go.

Night Warriors
1. Demitri
2. Morrigan
3. Sasquatch
4. Jon Talbain
5. Rikuo
6. Lord Raptor
7. Felicia
8. Anakaris
9. Bishamon
10. Victor
11. Donavon
12. Hsien-Ko
13. Huitzil
14. Pyron

Vampire Savior
1. Demitri
2. Morrigan
3. Sasquatch
4. Jon Talbain
5. Rikuo
6. Lord Raptor
7. Felicia
8. Anakaris
9. Bishamon
10. Victor
11. Baby Bonnie Hood
12. Q-Bee
13. Lilith
14. Jedah

Hidden character
1. Dark Talbain

Vampire Hunter 2
1. Demitri
2. Morrigan
3. Sasquatch
4. Jon Talbain
5. Rikuo
6. Lord Raptor
7. Felicia
8. Anakaris
9. Bishamon
10. Victor
11. Donovan
12. Huitzil
13. Pyron

Vampire Savior 2
1. Demitri
2. Morrigan
3. Lord Raptor
4. Felicia
5. Anakaris
6. Bishamon
7. Victor
8. Baby Bonnie Hood
9. Q-Bee
10. Lilith
11. Jedah
12. Donovan
13. Huitzil
14. Pyron

Hidden characters in all three versions of Vampire Savior
1. Oboro Bishamon
2. Shadow

Like Huitzil & Pyron in the original Darkstalkers, you must active the option in Ex option first. Then press a quick code on Bishamon. In Vampire Savior, he has a very different, shorter ending meant for hidden characters.

Shadow is hidden within the random icon on the character selection. You must high light that icon then press start seven times then select it. Excluding your randomly selected character you begin Arcade Mode with. Remainder of the run, you will play as the characters you just defeated.

Hidden characters in two versions of Vampire Savior
1. Marionette

Marionette virtually is mirror matches for an entire run. Unless you trigger hidden fights where you play as your opponent you were suppose to be facing. Very similar method to Shadow but you only need to press start five times then select it.

One major thing they didn't tell anyone is they actually sneak in two alternate versions of characters. Which gets switched depending on versions you are playing. I know that's a confusing logic, let me explain this a little better. Basically you can play as VS2 Donovan and VS2 Huitzil in VH2 and in vice versa.

Extra versions of characters

In Vampire Hunter 2
1. Vampire Savior 2 Donovan
2. Vampire Savior 2 Huitzil

In Vampire Savior 2
1. Vampire Hunter 2 Donovan
2. Vampire Hunter 2 Huitzil

Similar to Dark Talbain and Oboro Bishamon, you must high light those characters. Then input a short code, if done correctly you will have those versions in the other updated version.

Cyberbots
Mechs
1. Blodia
2. Swordsman
3. Riot
4. Reptos
5. Lightning
6. Jackal
7. Fordy
8. Tarantula
9. Killer Bee
10. Guldin
11. Vise
12. Cyclone

Hidden characters
1. Gaits
2. Super-8
3. Warlock
4. Helion

Either doing the codes like normal or Easy Select option. You quickly need to input the code to play as one of the hidden mechs.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
1. Ryu
2. Ken
3. Chun-Li
4. Sakura
5. Morrigan
6. Donovan
7. Hsien-Ko
8. Felicia

Hidden characters
1. Akuma
2. Dan
3. Devilotte

Either doing the codes like normal or Easy Select option. The longer method works a little different in their usual fighting cheat code method. Among doing the codes correctly, you'll see the hidden characters without a proper spot on that screen. Easy Select allows you to go down the bottom row of the character selection a little further excluding Felicia.

Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
1. Ryu
2. Ken
3. Zangief
4. Chun-Li
5. Sakura
6. Ibuki
7. Morrigan
8. Hsien-Ko
9. Felicia
10. Tessa

Hidden characters
1. Dan
2. Akuma

Thankfully this is a joke on the hidden characters concept. Simply go left Ryu for Akuma or go right Ken for Dan.

Hyper Street Fighter II
1. Balrog
2. Blanka
3. Chun-Li
4. Dhalsim
5. E. Honda
6. Guile
7. Ken
8. M. Bison
9. Ryu
10. Sagat
11. Vega
12. Zangief
13. Cammy
14. Dee Jay
15. Fei Long
16. T. Hawk

Hidden character
1. Akuma

Red Earth
1. Leo
2. Kenji
3. Tessa
4. Mai-Ling

Now I do have a recommended strategy to notably speed things up. You should change the difficulty to the easiest. Also yes they do allow continues otherwise this process would've been even more tedious. You also can use save state to your advantage as well. Keep in mind, it's very limited unlike the one in Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle.

I hope those trying to get all the achievements/trophies in Capcom Fighting Collection. This blog may help you out a lot maybe even save you hours of headaches as well as rage quitting. You got a lot of hours regardless to fully do this process. You may also learn parts to the games to help you get other achievements/trophies you're possibly going for.
