I can promise you two of these Metal Gear games going to keep you busy for hours!!! I actually never played Ghost Babel before. I previously looked into that Metal Gear game. It's one of the non canon sequels to the original Metal Gear. The fact it's done this well on Game Boy Color is mind blowing!!! I'm more surprised Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops didn't make the lineup.
Which also had a never ending related spin off game as well. Metal Gear Solid 4 until now was stuck on PS3 for a long time. Easily one of the greatest Metal Gear games I ever played!!! A true conclusion to Solid Snake's story. I strongly felt the perfect Solid Snake game!!! Yeah it'll take a couple hours even skipping cutscenes to finish the game.
I'm glad more people gets to finally play one of the finest Konami games ever!!! I put a lot of hours into Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Kojima wasn't involved with Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. This acted more of a true follow up to Metal Gear Solid 3. Once again you play as Big Boss in a rather ambitious Metal Gear game.
This game you build up an army with a lot of variety. I still felt some aspects was done better than Metal Gear Solid 5. Keep in mind, this originally was an PSP game. I know they're porting the same version from a few game compilations. Peace Walker is a massive Metal Gear game with plenty of surprises. If no more Metal Gear games gets added.
I actually felt this lineup to me was better than the previous Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection game's lineup. I mean really Snake's Revenge? The collection would've been better without such a bad Metal Gear game. Metal Gear Solid 4 needs to be done just right or a lot of people going to be upset. Peace Walker in a different way has a similar situation.
I haven't played many games like it. Unless you consider some aspects of Decision Legacy Collection. Konami haven't been great ever Kojima left with the franchise. Of course, I'm worried they're possibly going to drop the ball again. In this particular case, the world won't shut up about this one if it happens. Metal Gear deserves a much better treatment than it's currently getting.
Two of the finest main Metal Gear games with a non canon Metal Gear game in one package. I'm sure the actual size going to be huge in Gigabytes. But if they nailed this, this going to be among their finest game compilations to date. Personally I recommend going in with such low expectations. At least if it doesn't live up to the hype you'll be fine afterwards.
