My thoughts on Chainsaw Man Part 2 so far

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I'm still awaiting on stuff I really wanna talk about. I figured to discuss my current thoughts on Chainsaw Man Part 2. I will try to not spoil much which will be quite tricky to do so. I do wanna say this is easily one of the most eye opening manga stories I ever seen!!! You would have to see some of this with your own eyes to believe!!!

Chainsaw Man Part 2

I know I talked somewhat about Part 2 before on here. A lot of crazy moments occurred within the story since then. The more I read this, the more I wanna personally thank the author for writing this. A lot of people doesn't realize there's multiple things going on at times. Some of which speaks volumes for what ends up happening later on.

This is a notably different tone from Part 1. Part 1 was more over the top violent story with more lighter moments. It's not Jujutsu Kaisen light moments though. Part 2 is a much darker story in comparison. Everything going towards a horrific future for humanity. I already revealed Denji is in Part 2 a lot. At the time I did previously minded that simply because it was meant to be Asa's story.

Overtime it actually gotten me to like him even more as a character. Denji kept going through major changes as the story goes on. I also realized some of the previous Joestars were presented in other Parts of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Which meant my previous criticism was unfair or more directly wasn't right at all.

I personally felt Part 2 is a much crazier story than Part 1. I'm deeply amazed so many moments gotten into the story. I'm actually talking about such risky stuff. A particular arc goes fully off the walls insanity. You suddenly witness concepts existing to no longer exists or came back into existence. Some of which was truly the stuff of nightmares.

Up to a point, the one devil we kept hearing about. All this time was already revealed much sooner than any of the readers revealed. To me every one or two chapters is WTF did I just read? No really you get such moments you can't believe just happened. The more recent chapter at the time writing this is Chapter 213.

I also liked we get to see a notable different take being possessed by a devil. It's a different ball game from Part 1. Denji was killed to ended up getting revived by Pochita revealed to be the Chainsaw Devil. From that point on, Denji maintains full control over his devil powers despite being a berserker type. Asa gotten possessed after agreeing to War Devil's offer in order to save her life.

As Part 2 goes on, more of War Devil's personality gets revealed. War Devil is a vastly different beast from Chainsaw Devil. In some ways, she's more terrifying. The side characters are used quite differently from Part 1. The main ones were almost like an family to Denji. Over the course of that, Denji loses em. Which he still going through many things in the story.

In Part 2's case, the side characters were trying to prevent the end of the world from happening. Whatever they gotta do at any cost. This also means some of their allies was an temporary agreement thing. By now a lot of people knows some members making up the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were the main antagonists of this story.

All of them are all female devils being sisters. Part 1 had it's fair share of WTF moments. But that pales to the truly mess up stuff within Part 2. I would be deeply surprised a lot of it doesn't get censored. They are going this slower movie route with animating the story still in Part 1 for that matter. Clearly if they continue that path they got plenty of time to figure Part 2 out.

Assuming they actually get allow to do it at all. I really wasn't kidding Part 2 went the distance being a rather disturbing story. I'm even amazed Chainsaw Man didn't get labeled as Seinen. Which is for older male audience with some notable changes from Shonen. It's possible for an manga to get labeled as both like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

The point I'm trying to make is Part 2 gets very personal at times. The kind of personal usually shown within Seinen stories. Part 2 even went as far to present some truly dark stuff that nearly happened. We had a particular deal with one of the top tier devils that actually put chills down my spine!!! I still can't even believe such an concept made it into the story.

There's not as many light moments. Of course being a mess up story. Such moments are short lived probably more so in Part 2. The truly darker moments shines in the darkness. Just when Gun Devil terrorizing it's way in Part 1 was dark. We're talking hundreds of names written as confirmed deaths by this thing.

Even that pales in comparison to some of the darkest moments Part 2 has. We're currently in the final arc of Part 2. This by itself where it stands been one hell of a roller coaster ride. There's a lot of death within Part 2 possibly more on the way. The mess up moments just kept coming at this point. Chainsaw Man is a constant guessing game what's going to happen?

So far I properly guessed one chapter the entire time reading Part 2 no joke. I knew the real antagonist twist was coming. When it did the following chapter I called it from start to finish what's going to happen? Part 2 is heavily playing off of the possibilities than anything else. There's still plenty of great surprises from those that fully seen Part 1 played out.

Up to a point, Part 2 was notably a bit slower. When the pacing changed it kept going faster. It's not going so fast I wish it'll slow down. But we might reach that point before the end though. A lot of people didn't realize there's more than what's on the surface. Chainsaw Man may be labeled as an Shonen series.

The author more directly focusing on the emotional moments as well as deeper story telling. Which may disappoint the more action focused fans. At the same time, we're getting such an rememberable story. Parts of the action we're getting despite how shorter it may seem still gets very crazy at times. Especially when crazier twists gets thrown into them.

Part 2 won't hold your hand to make sure you're safe. No it rather throw you straight to the wolves!!! This really isn't for children I highly recommend to parents don't let em read Part 2. You will thank me later doing so. Part 2 is an inspiring story in so many ways. The personal growth of a few characters ends up being incredibly interesting.

Some might view this being a bit boring to a degree. Which I do see their point but both of them are rather mess up people. All this hell going on somehow both of them are becoming more decent people. Stuff like this means there's always light within the darkness. There's always going to be some form of hope in the end.

Chainsaw Man kept entertaining me to similar degrees as One Piece. It's nearly getting closer to as great as that for a more darker story. I'm not trying to upset anyone by saying that. Just like the author of One Piece, you can tell there's more actual depth in everything going on. Sometimes you might have to reread an chapter or two to properly understand things.

This story kept getting more difficult to predict. Considering how Chapter 213 ended I promise no spoilers. Let's just say moments like that is exactly why I respect the author so much. This person isn't afraid to go for such concepts knowing how attached we gotten to several characters. Part 2 is going to stand out in a great way.

There's a huge chance an YouTuber or two with their reflection on Part 2 videos might convince people. I can tell a lot of people are marathon reading to the point of confusion. I also can tell they don't understand since Part 1. Chainsaw Man always had these intentional sexual moments. I previously discussed an sexual moment people gotten upset over in Part 2.

Part 2 already setting the end game as we speak. I'm quite interested to see how it all ends. Even if we end up getting Part 3. Which I'm on board with if it happens. If we surprisingly don't I'm quite happy with Part 2 already. Eventually the conclusion to the Dark Trio going to happen. Such a dark day that's going to be in Shonen history.

Chainsaw Man truly deserves more respect than it's getting. I also notice some amazing fan animations of the series. I know this meant so much to a lot of people including myself. I really can't wait to see how Part 2 plays out. I'm very sure whatever emotions I'm going to feel. Exactly the same emotions the author expects most readers to feel meaning he's done his job very well.
