Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I seen a lot of bias Sasuke arguments that I am going out of my way to discuss. I will mention something else I didn't technically low ball Hiei that was an rough idea how powerful he is in the anime. It turns out the anime version really tone down both A & S Class power. To be honest, it's absolutely mind blowing folks.
1. Why not scale Sasuke to Naruto?
First off, each of the five villages has several clans. Most of which are related to each other in some way. Also there is some impressive feats other Uchihas has done including Madara. Now I get it, Sasuke was Naruto's rival from the beginning as well as best friend oh okay whatever. The simple fact is Sasuke just isn't on Naruto's level for many reasons.
For starters, for several years Naruto had half the nine tailed fox inside of him. Eventually he gets half of it, sure this being was stated to be able of destroying the world. It also a small fraction of the ten tailed beast's power, which is all the tailed beasts combined. This by itself puts Naruto on a different power scale if we're using Yu Yu Hakusho's instead.
Simply by that logic, Naruto would be on B Class. This is also considering his clan widely known for having an enormous amount of chakra that's scaled higher than most of the clans of his village. I should point out both he & his father Minato were hokages. Two very powerful, capable leaders of their village.
Naruto himself had a lot on his plate while Sasuke suffered a tragedy that easily could've been all the Uchihas dead. Now to clarify, I am only stating that because they both have very different reasons behind their goals. Sasuke himself would more likely land on C Class. Before you start saying stuff like you're low balling him or you don't know him shut up crap.
Yes there is a major point related to just their overall power alone. Hiei is officially upper S Class now I have to clarify something most of you are either over looking or simply not aware of. In the actual manga, it does state an A Class character can do an immeasurable destruction to the human world as well as tank nukes.
Last I checked, no body has that level of durability or the level of power within Naruto's universe. Oh wait now it's time for the very thing going pass or over you guys. Actually stated by Sensui himself, he powered up 1/3 of his overall power. Keep in mind, he is officially an S Class character. Simply doing that was putting a strain on the planet itself.
Oh wait it gets even crazier since Hiei in a battle royale style match in another tournament. He defeated five hundred A Class demons by himself. This is actually the testament of how powerful an S Class character can truly be. Now going back to just one A Class character can do an immeasurable destruction to the human world.
I think the best characters from Naruto to use as the example has to be Kaguya or Madara. Both of them are insanely powerful in their universe. Hiei was essentially fighting five hundred Kaguyas or Madaras by himself is a true testament. This by itself disapproves most of your arguments. Also in terms of scaling to other characters, Hiei clearly scales to other S Class characters including Kurama.
Once again, no body in Naruto's universe is that powerful. Now that level of power obviously would need a lot of powerful characters to still end up falling short of it. What I am trying to say as direct as well as not bias as humanly possible. In just the power scaling alone, Hiei is simply too powerful for Sasuke to handle.
Believe it or not I'm not done yet. So many of you are really playing on scaling Sasuke to some of Naruto's feats. A couple of Naruto's more notable ones in particular. Didn't I make it clear Sasuke simply wasn't on Naruto's level? Also he never done anything directly to the moon please saying using it like he actually done it.
Also if you are going to play the Naruto card, I have the right to play the Yusuke card bitches. Yusuke is also an upper Class S character that has out done Hiei in a few ways. I'll just name one in particular that's worth noting. Hiei held his own against Mukuro whose one of the three kings whose also his lover.
The fight itself made it crystal clear neither was going easy on each other. Also you can tell Hiei just wasn't as powerful as she. But Yusuke fought Yomi another of the three kings by himself as well. The huge differences was both Yusuke & Yomi was notably stronger than those two. Yusuke did lose this fight but he still gotten Yomi to use too much of his energy.
Which caused him to lose instantly to Enki whose an old friend of Yusuke's ancestor Raizen. Now Raizen is officially the most powerful being even in his weakened state from not devouring humans. This guy once took control of Yusuke's body to own Sensui easily thus killing him. The point is Yusuke being a capable fighter in his own right whose potential being one of the highest.
In comparison to Naruto whose potential is way higher than Sasuke to clarify. Yusuke really went flying through the entire power scale from the beginning to the end of the manga. So if you want an impressive character there you go. I felt Yusuke for some reasons Hiei would win heavily implies here as well.
In other words, playing on feats Naruto himself done but not Sasuke doesn't actually help him. Sure you could say the same thing in vice versa about Yusuke's feats that Hiei haven't done. Let's be honest, most of you didn't even hide your bias side. Partly why I revealed some of mine in my one of my previous prediction blogs on purpose.
I should mention Hiei has two ways of making himself stronger. There's a rare chance he might decide to show Sasuke his Jaganshi form that increases both his physical & mentally powers. You could trick Sasuke into throwing back Dragon of the Darkness Flames at Hie thus absorbing his own attack to boost his already insane level of power.
I know some of you are wondering why isn't Naruto higher up the scale? The answer is surprisingly easy, characters like Younger Toguro can lift an entire stadium with ease. He is classified to being an B Class character that's got a durable body. Yes when he goes up to a particular percentage of his power, he does require souls to maintain it.
In a weird way, Naruto was in the same ship until Kurama himself confessed to liking him. Usually he doesn't like anything at all. Also in Naruto's case, there are ways of stopping him including techniques meant to delay, trap or seal the nine tailed fox. So he could lose access to that power going back to Sasuke's C Class level.
For the record, The Jagan eye itself is an B Class artifact. So it makes the next section more clear how this would actually play out. Younger Toguro done a lot of damage by himself at the dark tournament. We're talking about a guy who easily destroyed a building while talking to Yusuke. Naruto is heavily centered around techniques while Yu Yu Hakusho was more about raw power in comparison.
2. Whose a better manipulator?
Oh good I get to attempt explaining more about their specialty eyes. More versions of the sharingans as well as the rinnegan doesn't have a resistance to mental attacks. Yes I am aware some of Sasuke's eye techniques doesn't actually require eye contact. But I have to go back to the power scaling thing. Hiei being an S Class character while under the same scale Sasuke would be an C Class character.
Just having two different power class characters fighting each other like Hiei vs. Bui being the perfect example. Hiei at the time was up to B Class until he mastered his technique as well as his Jagan eye. Thus increasing his power back up to A Class in the same match. Suddenly Bui couldn't do anything to him.
Unfortunately in Naruto's universe, the scaling is a lot smaller in comparison. Sure there's some ridiculous stuff that happens to a degree. But this was likely done to better fit how things works. Basically when a character mastered a difficult technique or transforms. The power boosts just isn't that crazy in comparison to something like what Hiei done.
In Hiei's case, he become too powerful for Bui to handle. Now going back to their eyes, Hiei had more mental focused powers in comparison. At the time, I wrote the prediction blog I didn't realize something until more recently. Due to Hiei being on a much higher level of power, he can use mind control to guarantee victory.
Funny enough, there are also techniques that allow the user to possess people. This is where the fight becomes unfair for Sasuke rather than Hiei like most of you believe. Hiei can also easily read minds while Sasuke has to be pushed with the rinnegan to touch Hiei's head in order to read it. Obviously Hiei is simply way too fast in comparison.
Don't worry I'll talk more about that shortly. Yes the rinnegan does have the power to force spirits outside the body as well as revive people. Yet in the manga, Hiei can easily have his spirit leave his physical body making that useless in this fight. But in vice versa, there is a thing called possession by spirits.
Which Hiei could easily take advantage of. Now a lot of you are probably wondering can Sasuke actually see Hiei's soul? The short answer is no because in Hiei's universe, the souls are invisible especially to human eyes. Last I checked, all types of the sharingans as well as the rinnegan are still technically human eyes.
Therefore, he can't possibly know he's about to get possessed by Hiei. Even if he somehow knew, he simply doesn't have the techniques to fight him off. Yes both of them can read their opponent enough to predict what they will do next. However a specialty of the Jagan eye is this ability allows Hiei to instantly know what his opponent will do.
He can instantly know a few of their techniques about to be used. He actually used this skill on Seiryu for a mind blowing speed feat. Hiei can very quickly plan how to counter or attack at a much faster rate than Sasuke. Now I'll try to explain the unique gene thing with Hiei that also prevents Sasuke for using his Jagan theme techniques.
Yes Sasuke could mimic Hiei's physical movements to the best of his ability. But Hiei is still a lot faster in comparison who even in a weakened state as D Class was faster than the eye can see. Even Kakashi himself stated the sharingan couldn't copy techniques for those with an unique gene. Essentially techniques exclusive to them like Hiei through his Jagan eye.
Hiei did pretend ice effected him in order to take out Seiryu before. In the manga, Hiei is resistance to both fire & ice techniques. Even if Sasuke were to combine some of these elements, Hiei could easily out run them or easily tank down anyway due to being on a much higher level. Also Hiei can create false memories as well as erase them.
There is something else worth noting here. Kuro use additional stuff to alter his body making himself resistance to both fire & sword attacks. Yet Hiei was able to defeat this man using both of them with ease. Hiei has a strong resistance to many things while Sasuke may have it to a degree just isn't on his level.
3. Whose actually faster?
Sasuke can increase his speed through a few techniques. He did it once to caught up to someone. But Hiei made it obvious that he can easily go faster than the eye can see. But there's a more direct proof of this. I can't say Hiei fighting Seiryu would technically be a fight since he won rather easily. Seiryu was stated to throw hundreds of punches within a split second.
Yet Hiei was able to slash him sixteen times even before the first punch was thrown. Which would trump any major speed feat Sasuke has in comparison. Sure you could throw out several speed feats Sasuke has done. At the same time, Hiei clearly trumped his greatest with absolutely no effort at all. Not only that, Hiei has proven to be the better swordsman.
Yes I am well aware Sasuke can use his dimension techniques. However if he attempts to cut through another dimension to surprise attack Hiei. It simply wouldn't work because that's a common thing among S Class characters. Even Hiei himself survived a similar attack with ease. So Sasuke can't even depend on that doing much against Hiei.
A lot of you are really playing off Naruto dodge lightning feat. Which isn't something Sasuke himself has done. I even notice the moon feat being sorta given to Sasuke simply because he is his rival lol. Even if Sasuke could dodge lightning, it's still too slow in comparison. Even his speed theme techniques are doom to fail.
4. More stuff about Hiei you didn't know
Although it isn't clear how old Hiei actually is. There are a few things to help piece together an idea about his age. For example, he has a twin sister. Obviously I don't need to explain about twins. It stated for their kind, when they reach age 100. They'll have a physical change in their appearance. Essentially this means a lot of things in comparison.
Even if Death Battle gave Sasuke around being in his early 30s. It is likely Hiei could be older than him. It implies Hiei has to be around 16 to 99 years old. He doesn't age like humans do that unavoidable Sasuke can't get around. Also as a baby, he was thrown off a cliff and was fine. I highly doubt any baby within Naruto universe could do that.
At the age of 5 yes you heard correctly 5 he became an A Class character. So it is likely Hiei is in his teenage years. Although he may count as still being a part of his child hood. Sadly only one man has the answer to that question, the author himself. Based on a select few things, Hiei could be in his sixties.
Now to clarify I'm not actually giving him that. It's in the air how old he actually is. Even if he had less experience than Sasuke, what he has done is still more impressive. Also it's not clear how much weaker he actually is to Yusuke. What we do know is both of them are unique demon hybrids. Yusuke being an descendant of Raizen while Hiei with his twin sister are part polar opposite demons. Hiei had to work harder than Yusuke in achieving his goals.
Hiei has other similar techniques related to Dragon of the Darkness Flame. Including one that's difficult to find but likely going to be how Sasuke could die on their show. Black Dragon Wave which isn't a rip off of any Yusuke's moves is capable of creating multiple dragons at once. Keep in mind, the first opponent to take this on got vaporized.
Yes it is true, everyone else that got hit by it was able to fight it off in some way. Bui was only able to do so because Hiei was still trying to master the Jagan eye. Both Sensui and Mukuro were more powerful in comparison. This implies you got to be around his level of power or you'll die. Which as stated earlier, Sasuke simply is not on Hiei's level so he will be vaporized by it.
You also got to keep in mind, uptil Sasuke left the village. He was learning like everyone else. At that point, he more directly wanted to kill his brother. So he missed out on some critical stuff. But Hiei never got any of that until he met a demon surgeon. He also later received training from Mukuro. This surgeon didn't just give Hiei a third eye, he also taught him how to use a sword.
Hiei became good enough to defeat his surgeon in battle. I should mention Kakashi did become an hokage. Although how he gave the position to Naruto was very frustrating to me. Another thing a lot of you guys don't understand is Sasuke no longer has Orochimaru inside of him. Thus losing some of his best advantages in the process.
To clarify, he haven't fought Kakashi since his early days training. It is likely he would hold his own to a degree. But I still think considering Kakashi's experience as well as being great at mimic. I would still say Kakashi is still higher than him in their power scale. The same guy has also held his own against Madara, obviously he wasn't facing him alone.
Kakashi knows Sasuke too well to not lose to him. He did state Sasuke is a lot like him. Now due to their similarities, I could allow scaling between those two. The problem is even that wouldn't matter in the long run. Sasuke just isn't a great choice to face someone like Hiei I'm deeply sorry people. If you want to be upset at someone, you all requested this fight so take the responsibility for it.
I just wanted to make that clear since a lot of people really didn't know that. Hiei destroyed half of the dark tournament stadium alone. It took more effort for Hiei to master the Jagan than all versions of the sharingans with the rinnegan for Sasuke. We are talking about a man who usually doesn't struggle doing anything.
Hiei had a rough life, he worked harder than anyone else to get up to S Class level. I am trying to say he actually got more reason to be determine out of these two. For a brief period, he was with bandits but quickly got cast out. One of his own species with a group of bandits cast him out. But that didn't stop him from achieving his goals.
The verdict is even more clear than it should be for an episode of Death Battle. Sasuke may or may not less experience in comparison. What is crystal clear, Hiei simply on a much powerful level. His speed is hands down insane. It does imply he could go faster not requiring much to do so. Hiei has more mental theme powers that Sasuke just can't get around.
Hiei in a few ways can manipulate Sasuke physically, mentally or even spiritually. Which most of those Sasuke can't counter. Regardless how this would play out, Sasuke just isn't the right opponent for him. Sasuke is very likely even with his chakra to run out first while Hiei could easily use techniques that doesn't use spiritual or demon energy.
Hiei also has two different methods of getting stronger. Although it is unlikely he would use his Jaganshi form in this fight. A better way of summing this fight up is a stomp. Sasuke is an impressive shinobi in his own right. But Hiei had much less help from others in comparison. As soon as he mastered the Jagan eye, he quickly went to the top of the power scale.
Honestly in experience alone, Hiei to me is a much more impressive fighter. He even held his own against one of the strongest characters in his universe by himself. In comparison, Sasuke has trouble dealing with Naruto or those technically powerful even with people helping him. So in just that regard, Hiei easily wins this fight.
