Death Battle Fight Prediction: Yhwach (Bleach) vs Lucius Zogratis (Black Clover) Follow Up

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I realized there's some more information that wasn't in my fight prediction blog. In particular the one I wrote for Yhwach vs Lucius. Some of these following information quite interesting to simply leave out altogether. I figured why not do a follow up post adding in those missing parts of my argument?

Lucius couldn't foreseen futures affected by Asta. Now Asta himself lacks magic automatically making him being unable to be seen through that ability. Anti-magic from the devil Liebe actually works outside the natural order of things including most magic types. In comparison, Yhwach himself was a rather unusual spiritually being.

The Almighty operates similar to Asta's Anti-magic. Yhwach also absorbed two gods to become the new Soul King. Further making himself virtually unable to be seen in every future he affects. Considering he can rewrite them, this means every future Lucius foreseen doomed to fail. Yhwach automatically affecting every future at once.

Aizen used Hado #99: Goryutenmetsu which is capable of erasing anything from existence. This technique unleashed five energy dragons that either absorbs or destroys spiritual energy with the area. Yhwach was capable of surviving against such an technique.

A variation of the concept exists with Asta's Anti-magic that effectively nullifies magic even of the strongest magic types. I will quickly go over a few magic types that follows some or all Hado #99's description to a degree. You can bet some of these are truly ridiculous themselves.

His former captain Yamo had Dimensional Slash. Which is capable of destroying magic as well as cut through dimensions!!! Both Lucifero and Lucius through Gravity magic create black holes. Word Soul magic can use words to destroy, erase or create including magic attacks.

Absorption magic can absorb massive amounts of magic then release it. Which also makes the user almost immune to elemental attacks. Demon Fire magic uses fire to burn through magic including concepts that do not exist physically. Yes this actually is a concept within Black Clover.

I bring up all of these magic types because Yhwach survived Hado #99. Which could absorb or destroy anything within it's radius. Yhwach was at the center of that meaning Lucius won't get far with making black holes. By now you should be seeing how truly ridiculous Yhwach actually is!!!

Asta's swords differ in some way how they work. Demon-Slayer Sword can destroy or deflect any magic spell. Demon-Dweller Sword can absorb magic of opponents then releases it as slashes. Demon-Destroyer Sword can erase magic effects which does include complex spells as well as curses.

Asta also has a technique called Black Hurricane that was used in his final duel against Yuno. A spin attack that absorbs all magic in a huge location. Obviously Asta's usage of Anti-magic comes the closest to Hado #99. Ultimately along with Yuno was the one to put Lucius down for good.

The only reason it took so long for the duo to defeat him. Lucius was constantly focus on avoiding making contact with Asta's Anti-magic. Almost the entire time including the short gap Asta was out the fight. It even highly suggests Asta's Anti-magic was capable of fully nullifying Lucius' ridiculous amount of magic.

I did take a closer look at Steel magic. Which is quite a versal magic type itself. Unfortunately, Lucius wouldn't know anything about Still Silver arrows. Sure he could create steel arrows with the magic type. Lucius won't know he would need Yhwach's blood.

Not to mention, Yhwach cast Auswashlen first. Then apply Yhwach's blood to that arrow to temporary disable his powers. To sum it up, he could in theory recreate the arrow. He just lacks the other essentials to make that happen. Also if this were an one on one fight there wouldn't be any other quincies.

Therefore, Yhwach simply wouldn't have a reason to cast that. Further removing a possible win condition for Lucius off the board. Another huge factor is later in the story Lucius directly controlled a lot of people. Essentially being the one will concept in an army like Dr. Robotnik.

This means while facing Asta and Yuno. He was controlling a lot of characters at the same time with huge distances included. On paper, this could be ideal in the event Lucius were to get close to being defeated. But his over confidence going to work against him.

Lucius could have his entire army. Yhwach by himself could easily destroy em. There's still a critical factor I surprisingly forgot to mention. Well it was mentioned when I discussed Yhwach vs Kaguya though. Yhwach is spiritually connected to every quincy there ever was.

We know a lot of quincies we seen in the final arc are soul reaper captain levels. Everyime a quincy dies, Yhwach gets a longer life span, their abilities and added more raw power applied to his own. Yes both of them were essentially the strongest character within their respective manga series.

Yhwach actually gains more from his spiritual connections. Lucius mostly gains their grimoires with whatever spells were inside after they died. This also means Yhwach knows of a lot more abilities with plenty unknown ones. It is possible very few abilities Lucius has, Yhwach surprisingly never heard of.

This also means Yhwach other than the usual steps to regain his powers. Which does notably differ in time before he can do those processes. Everytime a quincy dies, he automatically gets boosted up. In comparison, Lucius had to do a few additional things. Like devouring the heart of the devil Lucifero whose half was in hell during that encounter.

He also had to do a process to add his siblings along with their respective devils' magic types to his own. He also shares the body of the Wizard King for majority of the story. He cheated his way to becoming the strongest magic user in the series. Yhwach's spiritual connection already given him much more plus he even take back powers while killing em as well.

Yhwach can just focus on his goal outside the process of fully regaining his powers. Lucius secretly planned to make himself into a god. Majority what we know of that he went out of his way to do. A major difference in how they do things. This is exactly what happens when you compare a ridiculous character against an even more ridiculous character.

Lucius' light speed came from Light magic. Which also could be used to directly attack an country from the air with many projectiles. It's debatable how fast Lucius could be when Light magic no longer usable. Going back to manipulating a lot of people for a moment.

Yhwach is really overwhelming for an opponent to begin with. There's no way Lucius could keep up with many situations with his paladins while facing him. Yhwach not using abilities from his people is actually a good thing. We don't truly know how ridiculous Yhwach possibly could've been.

If there was a timeline version that would use their abilities over his own The Almighty. I still could say Yhwach easily going to win this fight. A lot of quincies has some rather broken powers. Quincies actually could win against elves from Black Clover.

When I was in the process getting further into Black Clover manga series. At the time, slowly getting caught up. I kept realizing how strikingly similar The Elf Reincarnation Arc was to Thousand-Year Blood War Arc as a whole. The elves waited around five hundred years to attack the Clover Kingdom.

Which was half the time the quincies waited to attack the soul reapers in the Soul Society. This matters because Lucius also had the elves' Ultimate magic type. In his rather long list of abilities. Essentially it embodies all of the magic of it's user and creates a unique, powerful spell. Basically this particular magic type successfully combines with all other magic types Lucius has.

It's hard to believe all of this didn't make it into the actual fight prediction blog. But in a way I'm glad I could still present more information that was indirectly left out. Lucius was more evil and selfish than Yhwach as surprisingly that might be for some. Ultimately, Yhwach was this insanely well covered truly mind blowing!!!

Responding to Too Much Anime on Death Battle criticism

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I been hearing a rather silly, harsh criticism about the web show Death Battle. This could've been before they officially stated to be more into doing anime theme episodes. A lot of people are sick of them doing those episodes. To be fair, we already have a few episodes this year with anime characters.

At the same time, I actually plan to defend Death Battle on this criticism. Unlike Marvel vs DC episodes, there's so many possible angles left to go. There's plenty of characters from franchises they used before. There's also a good amount of manga/anime franchises they haven't done before. The only major thing hurting future ones is the short gap between them.

The possibilities of match ups is virtually endless. A major factor why manga series beating out comic books is their universes for the most part doesn't do multiverses often. In fact, as insane a lot of them goes kept things from getting to that point. Suddenly comparing them is more of an unique experience. There's a very large variety of abilities in manga series.

Even considering the usual powers you see in majority of them. Somehow they differ just enough to bring something amazing to these characters. When they done Bakugo vs Reze, this was virtually that in a nut shell. We were given two characters with a vastly different take on the concept of explosions. There's still plenty amazing stories that could be told through their show.

Death Battle done many anime theme episodes on the show. Vegeta was the first anime character they used on the show. This criticism felt like people didn't understand Chainsaw Man always had intentional sexual moments. I'm not going to criticize something that was always there in some form. Anyone doing so really doesn't understand what they're watching.

Sure an handful of anime franchises they love doing. I will be honest I'm getting a little sick of seeing characters from. Either Dragon Ball, My Hero Academia and Naruto respectively. Once again there's plenty other anime franchises they easily could've done!!! I'm also sure most Death Battle viewers has a huge list of anime characters they wanna see on the show.

Not too long ago, I made a list of that myself here. I really do see the potential of anime episodes. Let me put it in another yet unique way. They could do some concepts again but somehow it comes out quite differently. This by itself is exactly why I continue to support them doing anime episodes. Even if a couple I could be brutally honest coughs Liam was bias with questionable logic.

No surprise I'm still heavily disappointed about Aizen vs Madara. Especially now in Ichigo vs Yusuke, you guys finally acknowledged indirectly that also was wrong!!! They were going to do that match up way sooner. But swapped Yusuke out for Naruto for more views confirmed by the way. I'm going to call this out while I'm here.

You guys should've given us Ichigo vs Yusuke from the start. By changing it to Ichigo vs Naruto, you decided to sell out rather than give people the match up they really wanted!!! Yes I know this plays more into the Big 3 rivalry. Which also why Luffy vs Naruto a huge request I can't stand the least. To me, it just makes sense to do Ichigo vs Yusuke.

After all, the show is about putting two or more similar characters against each other. Even I felt with Death Battle wiki thank you finally made sense of Ichigo vs Naruto. I was honestly confused by the match up. I also gotta criticize once again Aang vs Edward Elric. Thankfully Aang going to lose against Traveler so it's all good now.

I'm also glad they also see how much this brings to the show. Obviously a lot of people whose into anime more willing going to watch these episodes. I don't think anime episodes is killing the show. What could seriously hurt them though is some questionable logic. I mean seriously they given the speed advantage to Bardock from a filler Goku feat wow!!!

People always going to criticize scaling. Let's be honest that's any match up they do on the show. They could do so much with anime characters. Maybe distance the usage of a few franchises could go a long way. This is also upsetting some people. More recently, we're getting another episode with an Chainsaw Man character.

Literately two episodes later that's not much of a gap guys!!! To be fair, Yuji vs Denji despite the toxicity it's bringing. Actually a rather unique match up for what it is. In a way anime episodes kept bringing this show back from many declines it had over the years. By this point, it's amazing their backs didn't break yet.

I also question how exactly do they pick their match ups? I know a large amount of the episodes were highly requested to the show. I still gotta bag the question at times. Death Battle team are huge anime fans for a long time. Honestly, it's mind blowing a lot of people don't see some of what I'm saying. In fact, a lot of them are just plain tired of seeing anime characters.

Another notable factor is they reused some of these characters. Vegeta later came back to face Thor, I loved that episode!!! Shadow came back to face Ryuko from Kill la Kill. More recently, Metal Sonic came back to face Perfect Cell. I think another factor surprisingly not a lot of people say. They don't do the most wanted match ups for some characters when they first used them.

This also resulted in some match ups people weren't as crazy for or simply not expected at all. A great example of this was Asta vs Deku. At the time, Deku's most requested opponent was Miles Morales from Marvel. Eventually Deku came back to face Miles on the show. Indirectly, some people were rubbed the wrong way by this.

I also loved they do some of these match ups in 3D animations. Personally my overall favorite style is hand drawn. Sometimes that could involve using sprites. If it's fully hand drawn I absolutely loved watching them. Suddenly I'm watching both of their shows at the same time. At least, that's how I felt about them.

Besides Goku vs Superman situation that ended up with three episodes. I know some comic book characters only face comic book characters from a rival comic book company. To be brutally honest, this gotten rather old. The well virtually dried up years ago by this point. Thanks to a weird loop hole coughs Dragon Ball fans caused.

They put Vegito vs Gogeta as a season finale episode. The only episode Goku gets used in both fusion styles. They made a wish themselves to make an impossible match up happen. Eventually it would be nice Goku faces someone who isn't Superman. The fact they're actually considering to do Composite Goku vs Composite Ryu idea.

Which would include every single version of both characters. Now that's a ridiculous amount of research on both sides. Despite not being a fan of the match up. I did respect they chosen to use alternative universe versions of Trunks and Silver the Hedgehog. This by itself was a rather unique take on the concept that goes way further than their main canon versions.

We actually need more episodes like this on the show. This really would help bring in more people to watch the show. Let's be honest, some alternate versions of characters more interesting. People wants Heaven Ascension DIO whose a rather broken version of the character. This by itself really opens the doors to some mind blowing possibilities.

I felt a lot of people are looking at the glass half empty rather than half full. Once in a blue moon, they used controversial manga/anime characters like Guts or Lucy. To be honest, this also really need to start doing this more. There's some rather interesting characters out there. Even if some stuff they done may rub people the wrong way.

Anime episodes is far from being over. They easily could put anime characters against any media character. Not only that, majority of anime characters they used are Shonen characters. They previously stated Shonen Jump characters to be the Japanese comic book equal to Marvel and DC respectively. Which brings me to a rather unique perceptive.

They should start using anime characters of other genres. Suddenly these anime episodes becomes gateways getting into those genres. Thus, both sides would ultimately gets more fans in the long run. Honestly, this also could be game changing for the web show. Other than that, I still felt they're heading into a decent direction.
