Currently RACCOIN, Mouse P.I. for Hire, Romeo is a Dead Man and John Carpenter's Toxic Commando doing well. Sadly situations like this is exactly why I don't like doing such topics. Sony delivered a rather difficult pill to swallow. They made a controversial decision to not bring Marvel's Wolverine to PC. Sony been making questionable to possibly laughable decisions.
It's almost like they want to rip people off. "Oh yeah you can play the game. All you need is buy an PlayStation 5 and the game. There you go suckers!!!" They don't realize how many people they just loss over that announcement. The newer stuff shown of the game isn't blowing people away either. I wish Wolverine could've had another decent game.
We don't know how they connect the game to their Spider-Man series. They also increased the prices for PlayStation 5 was a horrible idea. The fact they actually thought it was okay to do this to people!!! I already decided I'm not going to get into Marvel's Spider-Man series. Currently I only have Steam with these being such huge games.
I would be lucky to have enough room on my memory or my computer possibly handles the game at all. For what's already on Steam prior to this announcement. Suddenly I think back to that one vote for an game awards. At the time wasn't happy I couldn't vote for it along with the three games I selected. Now it's becoming quite clear this Wolverine game going to bomb hard.
It never was worthy of that vote I see that now. Especially what I been seeing from Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. I rather play that over this any day of the week!!! No surprise, Resident Evil Requiem hit the ground swinging!!! I'm currently waiting to see how 007 First Light going to do. Which comes out next Wednesday funny enough.
I always been a huge Wolverine fan for a long time. I refuse to go out my way to buy an PS5 just to play this game. Especially Sony kept getting hacked recently. No thanks I'll stick to Steam and GOG a lot safer. Not only that, I also heard this Wolverine game might end up with alright maybe a little worst dialogue. I mean come on this is Wolverine!!!
One of the most bad ass members of the X-Men!!! This is how they're going to treat the character is inexcusable. At this point, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics nails Wolverine!!! I highly recommend go play that collection over this!!! Especially if Wolverine among your favorite X-Men members.
I also refuse to accept the same developers previously done both Spyro and Ratchet & Clank series. They're still making Ratchet & Clank games. Yeah you can only go so far with such an reception. I wouldn't necessary say they're as dead to me as Naughty Dog. The original company behind Crash Bandicoot series.
In a way they aren't far from getting the same treatment. I'm more hyped for Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, Gears of War: E-Day and a bit for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls respectively. I'm sure all of those going to quickly blow Marvel's Wolverine away!!! You might've noticed I didn't say much about the other huge games I'm hyped for.
In my mind, bringing any of those that's out into this. Further sinks Marvel's Wolverine like quick sand. From what I seen of Fatal Frame II remake it's not even close!!! Marvel's Wolverine possibly going to start get a lot of preorders canceled soon. If that doesn't tell them how stupid this decision is. Then they really deserve to experience the full backlash of everything they're about to get in a couple months.
Marvel's Wolverine is set up to fail hard the way it's currently going. I really wish they didn't do that decision. Also rumors of a possibly troubled development isn't going to help things either. Especially for those that played their Spider-Man games. To be fair it's more of a life with the little time it has. Compared to the famous bad Suicide Squad game that's a spin off to Batman: Arkham series.
DC already had a lot of backlash with that. Now it looks like Marvel you're up for the same situation. Marvel within video games been questionable. You also could say that about DC which is also true. But man Marvel kept getting stinkers like no tomorrow. Marvel's Wolverine has a little hope to not entirely suck.
Even if it doesn't suck, it won't be something worth remembering. Especially if you played X-Men Arcade or X-Men Origins: Wolverine the PS3/Xbox 360 versions. Just saying there's a few options that's more worth your time. In all honestly, Marvel's Wolverine is going to fail hard. Also being a few months away from Grand Theft Auto VI.
I'm even more convinced Sony isn't thinking straight. It turns out there's an even bigger disconnect with their consumers I could possibly imagined. A room full of executives still makes money regardless if the game does well or not is kinda disgusting to me. Therefore, they don't even care how it's affecting everyone else.
Here's a game that should've been a possible renewal of spin off video games. Yet they are really going out their way to virtually kill every chance it could've had with people. I still think the game going to be a little better than Saints Row reboot. Which really isn't saying much either. Honestly, I'm even further done with Sony!!!
I really dislike how they do business video games wise. It's mind blowing they are going to do this!!! Marvel's Wolverine could've been canceled. At least, none of us had to experience a rather possibly disappointing game!!! Especially overtime all the stuff they intended to do comes out. I rather have that with this Wolverine game than it even coming out period!!!
I don't wanna say it's cancer but the game getting more difficult to look at or accept beyond that announcement. We did need another Wolverine game in all honestly. I felt they trimmed his claws before he even came out to play. This is undoubtably terrible they're going through it. Marvel's Wolverine gets it's planned DLCs cut down or none of it comes out.
Both are signs the game virtually already dead before arrival. I highly doubt at this point Sony going to do anything to save it. They literately nailed the final nail in it's coffin. Honestly, I can't even believe I'm writing this blog entry. In some ways this felt like a huge waste of everyone's time including my own. It also was a decent way to better present exactly how that announcement made me felt.
In another way I really shouldn't be too surprise with the current decline in AAA games. Especially when indie games are doing insanely well right now. Where it stands I refuse to play this Wolverine game. I also refuse to talk about it longer than necessary aka this blog entry!!! The bottom line is this Wolverine game should've gotten canned to save us from such a situation.
Especially when fan games may differ in quality. But there's some rather decent fan games around. I felt some of those already possibly better than this!!! Hell I could go full blown X-Men in Garry's Mod. I don't have S&box but that's on my list. Either going to be way better as well. Marvel's Wolverine is going to be forgotten the very day it comes out which is rather sad to think about.
