Dracula
Dracula since the ending of Castlevania: Lament of Innocence been the Belmont clan's nemesis. Nearly a thousand years long feud. Dracula commanded an army of darkness to unleash onto the world. He represents darkness to the Belmont clan's light essentially. I should point out many appearances weren't full centuries.
This is important because if a full century goes by before reviving Dracula. He would return at full power which we don't often see in the series. Virtually every kind of being imaginable is under Dracula's command. Including The Grim Reaper as his right hand monster. Dracula is a capable magic user that can manipulate souls.
The iconic castle itself is part of Dracula's power. I especially loved that castle cameos in the background of maps in Dead by Daylight. Dracula is among the most iconic, recognizable Konami video game villains in history. He notably differs from the original version of Dracula in so many ways. I actually can say enough to essentially be his own character like Hellsing's Alucard.
Dracula also has an dhampir son named Alucard. Whose among my favorite hero characters in the franchise. It's also not often when someone other than a Belmont takes on Dracula. If you wanna bring up Dracula Wraith in Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance whose isn't actually Dracula. It's still worth mentioning because Death said this unusual situation could've been used to revive Dracula.
Dracula has a few attacks you'll see in majority of his appearances. He even appears as a boss in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. He's a vampire that's so prepared to end humanity. Just staring in his wrathful eyes you know the apocalypse is coming. Considering which beings could be in his army. Nearly every possible angle you could imagine is covered.
He's essentially the closest thing many would consider being the devil. To clarify, he actually isn't the devil at all. He actually serves as an avatar for a deity called the Chaos Entity. Who created a parallel universe making Dracula a truly powerful being. Dracula will always figure out a way to return. Death itself is a small thing to him.
Mostly represent for a lot of terrible things in the main canon of Castlevania. Dracula does surprisingly have a heart. He did love his wife whose was Alucard's mother. He has shown to care for his son as he was defeated in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Some versions of the characters has a little more depth than others.
His actual appearances kept changing including hair style as well as hair color. Dracula always been a great antagonist for such an iconic horror video game franchise. I know I don't need to say this he's easily among the strongest in his army. Technically only Death is stronger depending on things. Dracula is someone that truly earned his place in Dead by Daylight.
It's no surprise back then there were several similar games to Castlevania series. More recently, there's so many Castlevania inspired indie video games it's ridiculous!!! There's just something truly unique at it's core. When several games a few years ago gotten Castlevania crossovers it blew my mind!!! Dracula is someone you really can't recreate.
Officially you can create your own version of the character. But what I actually meant is you can't recreate Castlevania Dracula. Easily among the greatest versions of Dracula in existence!!! I have such a deep respect for the character. Castlevania wouldn't gone this big without Dracula. Castlevania always been among my favorite Konami game franchises.
Conclusion
Dracula is essential to majority of Castlevania franchise. Unless you're going Soma or Kid Dracula routes. Dracula needs to be in there period!!! The character is virtually timeless even before this version existed. This version also ended up becoming timeless as well. Some might view this as Dracula but somehow more awesome!!!
Some might view this as an even scarier version of the character because he commands an army of darkness. Also having the Belmont clan constantly coming to slay him. You know he's a bigger threat to the world than Dracula in the classic novel ever could've been. I strongly felt Konami really hit gold with the character here!!!
