I quickly want to confirm thanks to someone else's video. One of the differences between the two versions of the teaser been found. In Sumer Game Fest version, a house with a fire going on shows up. More directly what's different is directly on the right of the front door. In Summer Game Fest, if you look closely it's a film reel while it's just pictures in the other version.
I already figured out the clue leads directly to Frank Stone. For those not familiar, he was the main killer in a spin off game to Dead by Daylight called The Casting of Frank Stone. Some people knew eventually Frank going to show up. I actually watched an friend streamed it a few years ago. I'm a little curious to see how Frank going to play in the game.
I will reveal the woman at the head of the table wasn't Lady Dimitrescu after all. This still was a hint about a new mode. But a member of the team confirmed another mode also on the way. A new graphics rework to possibly help get some of the newer, ambitious killers in easier. A little disappointing about Lady Dimitrescu not showing.
I will fully explain exactly how I researched that conclusion. A band called Ice Nine Kills that's about to be confirmed collaborating with the team. They not only wrote a song called A Work of Art inspired by Art the Clown. This ended up being the theme song for Terrifier 3 movie. The same band done a concert with wrestler Rhea Ripley.
I should point out officially they're the third band to collaborate with the team. Following Iron Maiden and Slipknot the later being among my favorite bands!!! We don't know until it gets announce what's coming exactly to the game. But knowing Art the Clown involve I bet it's going to be very sick!!! I personally want it to be better than their Slipknot collaboration, I was heavily disappointed!!!
Ripley once wore an outfit inspired by Art the Clown. A few weeks ago on X.com, the team asked her if she plays Dead by Daylight. I just notice something everyone not seeing. The original Terrifier movie came out in 2016. Which so happened to be the same year Dead by Daylight came out. Which means they're actually celebrating two 10th anniversaries this year.
For a few years, Art been showing up in a few games mostly through crossovers. Call of Duty and Fortnite which were vastly different takes on the character. He's among the playable character in Terrifier: The ARTcade Game. Which is a licensed beat 'em up game based on the franchise. I'm still not done, Art also in Scary Movie 6 as well.
There's also a lot of hype for Terrifier 4 next year. The connections were lining up more than Resident Evil connections I had for Lady Dimitrescu. This also would mean the woman at the head of the table only represented a new event theme nothing more. The fact two years in a row, they announced indie horror franchises coming to the game around their anniversaries.
Considering there's notable interest from all parties to do a crossover. It was inevitable we were getting Art the Clown. Right now I'm really convinced this is going to be the next license chapter following Jason. Throwing in Stranger Things Vecna, three hugely requested horror icons in the same year. You also can tell I'm very happy, we're finally getting Art the Clown!!!
Every since Terrifier 2, Art been a huge requested horror icon to come to the game. Assuming this could be the chapter in November, an early birthday present for me!!! They confirmed one killer with two survivors assuming that's the theme for the chapter. Obviously everyone knows Art the Clown coming in as a new killer.
The survivors could be partly debatable. Let's be honest, everyone including me expecting Sienna Shaw to be one of the survivors. I don't think they'll bring in her brother Jonathan though. I'm assuming they possibly go with Tara from the original Terrifier movie. It's possible they might consider going for Mia Carpenter from Terrifier 3.
In the movie she was desperate to make it big by covering Art the Clown. Which ended badly during a shower fun time. I would assume Art gets the option to swap between weapons. They might make the players work for the Cat O'Nine Tails. You know like Myers' Tier 3 or The Trickster's Showtime. I highly doubt survivors constantly wants to get whipped.
Another possible survivor could be wrestler Rhea Ripley herself. She stated wanted to be in Terrifier 4 to be killed off by Art the Clown. I wouldn't be surprise she ended up in the movie. But assuming she missed out on that, this would be the next best thing. She previously gotten killed off during a concert by Art.
Now WWE actually done a couple horror movies with See No Evil being the only series among them. Unfortunately they also made Leprechaun: Origins. I swear that movie kept haunting me for years in a bad way!!! Some people forgot WWE had a horror movie connection. Wrestler Chris Jericho was in two Terrifier movies as well.
I would imagine he possibly has a few moris he could do during matches. Of course, the main mori going to be among the hardest to watch in history of Dead by Daylight. I know some people curious how exactly how he differs from The Clown right? Well The Clown has a weird obsession with fingers that uses potions.
Originally had one potion to drug survivors temporary to gain an advantage against them. After he's gotten reworked was given a new yellow potion that speeds him up briefly. Largely due to majority of the DbD community felt he's too slow lol. I actually felt he's still among the fastest to land trick hits during loops but that could be just me.
Yes both clowns uses blades while Art has more of a small variety among melee weapons. I doubt he'll be given the handgun to directly use during matches. Art is way more creepy as well as sadistic of a killer. We're talking about a clown so over the top violent. He's a great choice for a guest character in an Mortal Kombat game I'm not kidding.
What's even crazier is The Clown previously gotten his own Santa costume with a limb sticking out. I really wouldn't be surprise both were in 2 vs 8 mode. People had to dress both of them up as Santa lol. I guess all eight of them been very naughty!!! Unavoidably people going to constantly compare the two killer clowns in the game.
Just like Leatherface to The Hillbilly whose directly inspired by him. I strongly felt just like the two Vecnas situation. These two clowns are vastly different from each other. I said this when killers like Pyramid Head and Pinhead came to the game. I really felt I must say it again, they have balls to go for such a monster!!!
Considering some of his animations people going to make memes. Some might even have the same reaction when Ghostface showed up. Whose another famous black and white theme slasher villain. He has an indirect connection with Chucky. Both had a similar doing a movie in space joke thrown around by their creators.
Hell I would've been happy just getting Art the Clown. But obviously they wanted to go much bigger!!! Not many horror icons deserves such a treatment. The second indie horror killer in the game following Five Nights at Freddy's Springtrap. This could be a sign the world wants more indie stuff over the bigger budget mainstream franchises.
I am also curious what to expect from Art's chase song. I just hope whatever it is ends up being down right unsetting!!! A song that gets right under your skin before Art starts ripping you apart. There's no question this going to be his best video game appearance to date. Easily the most faithful representation of the franchise as well.
The two main things I'll personally ask for. Art gets to be nearly as over the top with his main mori. He better be incredibly creepy in the actual game!!! Considering two of his movies done amazingly well in theaters. More recently people making crossover videos or pictures with the character. For me just like the Klowns from Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Art works insanely well as a character.
Art was my most wanted indie horror icon for this multiplayer horror game. I really could not be any happier he's finally coming!!! Again this isn't meant to throw salt or insult Jason in any possible way. I won't hide I'm a bigger Art fan than Jason honestly. But both of them really would bring a lot to the game in different ways.
Just imagine if they ever do 3 vs 12 mode idea. Stranger Things Vecna, Jason and Art in the same match!! This license chapter going to really open up a lot of doors for the game's future. Especially a lot of people knows Jason in the game. As Freddy once said himself, "There's always room for more!!!" I would say Art is easily my favorite among the three guest characters.
I will wait on my final verdict among seeing Art the Clown in a few matches. I already felt he's quickly going to become one of my main killers in the game. Honestly, it took the team nearly four years to get Art the Clown. You just never know who else coming into the fog soon. The last thing I wanna say is welcome to the party, Art the Clown!!!
