This would leave us with what's the other three hints in the teaser right? There was a few bloody party stuff you expect kids to play with in the teaser.
More directly an pinata that directly references a game called Fortnite. They are going to do a crossover in Fortnite with several DbD characters. Fortnite has so many franchises with possibly more on the way this is no surprise. Two down, two more hints to go with the last two being very close by each other. One of these hints at the end of the teaser.
The people at a table with a cake portion of the teaser. This is directly directly two things that will be announced this Sunday. The people wearing masked that's blindfolded is a new event already leaked. This is going to be the anniversary event in the game. The woman at the head of the table also matching up with the overall elegant style is Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village.
I know it's crazy there's already two Resident Evil chapters. This would break the record for a franchise to have three chapters in the game. Lady Dimitrescu would be accompanied by her three daughters. This also would mean our two new survivors from this announcement going to be. Ethan and his daughter Rose Winters is going to be crazy!!!
I also got to explain two related things that further came together in my head after realizing this. Resident Evil already gotten insane hype from Resident Evil Requiem. More recently the announcement of Resident Evil: Veronica. Some people were hyped for the newer live action Resident Evil movie. The actress who voiced Lady Dimitrescu quite busy since that RE game.
She hosted a particular game awards show last year. She also starred in a particular trailer for Resident Evil Requiem. I know it's a bit weird our two vampires are from video games. Indirectly playing off a classic game company rivalry between Capcom and Konami respectively. I have compared the woman at the head of the table's outfit to Lady Dimitrescu.
Despite a different style hat, it's still wore the same way. A vastly different necklace from the one Lady Dimitrescu wore. Majority what she was wearing matched up to her clothes. For those who aren't familiar with Resident Evil Village. She was one of the four lords for a village. All the leaders serves Mother Miranda that viewed her as their mother.
The Winters also possibly coming in with a few outfits from Resident Evil Village. We might get some original cosmetics for the game as well. Considering Capcom rushed the conclusion to their story within the main RE series with Shadows of Rose DLC. I think the Dead by Daylight team wanted to show the Winters more proper respect.
Personally I been waiting for a more insect connected killer to come to the game. More directly her three daughters are insects. I also think she's going to be similar to The Knight. Each daughter does something different while they need to be sent the same way. Obviously Lady Dimitrescu coming with her famous long claw as a weapon.
She also would be among the tallest licensed killers in the game over nine feet tall I'm not kidding!!! All four of them going to be faster pace killers in the game. They also could be given cosmetics that's original for the game. Going back to this random what if they were to do an 3vs12 mode idea. Can you imagine facing Nemesis, Wesker and Dimitrescu in the same match?
As a huge Resident Evil fan I'm quite excited about this. Personally I did want several licensed killers more. But at the same time, I'm willing to come back to the game to play as her soon. Somehow I felt this still wouldn't be enough. Resident Evil's fourth chapter could suddenly become one of their most requested to date.
Right now I felt we already have the most essential characters on both sides. After this there isn't much room left to go for Dead by Daylight Resident Evil wise. Can you imagine facing both her and Dracula in a match? 2vs8 already has the previous two Resident Evil killers along with Dracula in that mode. Damn I'm getting even more fired up thinking about this!!!
I can't say the anniversary ruined for me. In fact, I just felt this gotten surprisingly better than I could've ever imagined!!! I really wasn't expecting a third Resident Evil chapter. Then I was recently reminded the team really wanted Lady Dimitrescu in the game. Honestly, I do see how she fits in the game. I also think this further opens the doors to more possibilities in the future.
It's also a bit ridiculous a decade we gotten three Resident Evil chapters. Just imagine what may follow after this Resident Evil chapter. Also we don't know if this or Chorus of Sin chapter coming first either. Either we're getting Lady Dimitrescu after Jason or after The Judgment? I'll be honest I wasn't thrilled how they went about the polls to allow us the fans put Chorus of Sin chapter together.
I'm rather mixed about The Judgment in a few ways because of those polls. In the past, they have done a few licensed killers in a row to a degree. I wouldn't be surprise it ended up being after Jason. I'm more interested for both Jason and Lady Dimitrescu in comparison. I am just hoping The Judgment's game play going to be a little fun or easily among my least favorite killers in the game.
Going back to Lady Dimitrescu, I personally would love Stranger Things Vecna to get a legacy skin of Heisenberg. I also could see Moreau being a legacy skin for The Plague. A bit of a weirder idea on that. Beneviento could be a legacy skin for The Twins. Which actually could line up with her abilities to manipulate dolls.
This could actually get more people to play as The Twins in matches. Their swap method is similar to the same feature in Resident Evil 0. I know I'm going in big in a way I didn't expected. Resident Evil is such an iconic horror franchise. Sure doing a third chapter going to make a lot of people sick of the franchise.
They also could give us more cosmetics for the Resident Evil characters we already have. I recalled seeing a legacy skin request of Zeno for Wesker. I really wanted other Tyrant models or a few creatures similar to them like Ustanak from Resident Evil 6. But I also understand most Tyrant models has claws not tentacles.
Now this would be worthy enough for an tenth anniversary. Despite crossed over twice prior, people kept wanting more of the franchise in the game. Obviously Capcom been on board with them. I also think they took a lot of extra time to make everything just about right. Now just Jason coming to the game with cosmetics seems like icing on a rather beautiful cake!!!
Honestly, I'm going to be very surprise it turns out to not be Lady Dimitrescu. Originally I didn't think much of the woman at the head of that table. Now I suddenly can't stop piecing all of this together!!! Every killer from Resident Evil series been among my favorite killers in the game. Assuming that's going to happen again with her we're already in great hands!!!
