Terrifier chapter is the last confirmed licensed chapter this year. You can tell by the logo it's the original Terrifier movie theme. I still wouldn't rule out a few possible survivors. This more directly means Tara going to be the main survivor. Unfortunately they're about to go through another lawsuit.
This is a rather huge deal because it's over the ownership of Art the Clown. I don't know the full story behind the lawsuit. Before that, actress Catherine Corcoran who played Dawn in the original Terrifier sued em. Unless most parties made sure the lawsuit won't prevent Terrifier chapter from happening.
Right now we just don't know what's going on. Thankfully that's not the only information to share regarding the chapter. The director of the game Mathieu confirmed some rather interesting details. They do plan on going very violent with the character. It's heavily being implied the current state of the game can't handle this.
They will be introducing a new game mechanics for the character. They also confirmed he's getting some of his weapons. We don't know if David Howard Thornton involve or not. Art possibly going to have a few moris like an handful of killers. I wished how they revealed the chapter was done a little better. I know a lot of people were excited about the announcement.
For those that haven't heard yet we're getting more than the graphics getting reworked. They are adding in more animations making it more of a horror game. The weather will constant change during matches this I'm excited for. A lot of older survivor characters getting voice overs. Not to mention, they're giving the fans a mod tool to make new maps.
Indirectly they're saying, "We're tired making new maps go make em yourself!!!" Terrifier chapter sounds quite ambitious as well as risking to be too difficult to watch. Just like the movies I really couldn't ask for more myself. The average ratio of licensed killers to get in a year is two of them. They just broken that record with three licensed killers this year.
Stranger Things Vecna, Jason Voorhees (original version) and Art the Clown respectively. Assuming he does make it into the game in November. Art going to be officially the twentieth licensed killer in the game. Just imagine if they could make it to twenty years how many licensed killers could be in the game?
This is huge for indie horror fans around the world. People been wanting him in the game for a few years now. Simply going by the information Mathieu given to a podcast. Art the Clown is vastly going to change things forever for the game. If he does well enough, more ambitious horror icons like The Thing could show up.
Terrifier chapter sounds like Friday the 13th: The Game. Which had some gory finishers going to pale in comparison to Art the Clown in Dead by Daylight!!! I'm glad they aren't hiding how much of a monster he truly is!!! Including my brother, I'm really getting hyped. This could be his greatest appearance in a video game to date.
Art the Clown represents the phase of no more hiding from true horror within Dead by Daylight. You are going to see everything!!! The curtain isn't there to prevent your eyes seeing such nightmare fuel imagery. I know some people view him being a slasher. His actual horror genre is Splatter similar to Saw series.
Splatter which could be similar to slasher horror films is more more directly violent horror movies. Some companies allow a bit more than your standard slasher horror films. Try to think of it like you get to fully see everything at the cost of your sanity. A decent Splatter horror movie you truly get your money's worth.
Unlike Saw, Terrifier is more like slasher horror films that's notably way more over the top violent. I really wasn't kidding when I said slashers like Jason Voorhees pale in comparison to this guy. You would be lucky to get done in by The Clown. Art the Clown is among the most sick licensed killers in the game.
This is exactly why I really want to see him in an Mortal Kombat game. Such a crossover is bread & butter!!! The perfect combination you really couldn't ask for more. Let's be honest, if Art does well enough in Dead by Daylight that's going to happen eventually. All this hype going into Terrifier 4 who knew right?
This also could mean while swapping out weapons. We don't know how many weapons he'll have yet. It sounds like each weapon going to have different style game play. Which is quite ambitious for any killer during matches. Let's be honest, Terrifier chapter coming in November. A little less than half an year plus such major game play updates on the way.
They're going to truly knock this one out the park. If done right, this is going to be among the greatest licensed chapters they ever done!!! Some people don't realize what fully he could be bringing to the overall experience. Just going by what Mathieu shared, this is going to be a whole new ball game!!! What you thought you knew won't prepare you for what's coming soon.
I know I'm really hyping up Art the Clown a lot here. But this guy really does belong in such a multiplayer horror game. Easily among the scariest horror movie clowns I ever seen!!! It's not even close the most difficult to watch horror movie clown I ever seen!!! This clown going to really bring in a lot of new players.
His success will open some doors that weren't opened before. I really wanna see how truly creative they can be with the character. I really wanna be blown away how over the top violent he is during matches. I really wanna feel like I'm watching Terrifier movies as I play the game!!! This clown is such a huge deal for Dead by Daylight.
Art the Clown is so potentially scary it's mind blown he wasn't already in Dead by Daylight. I also know a lot of people were disappointed Pennywise didn't show up. Paramount just merged with Warner Brothers, I knew he wasn't coming to the party. Who knows if Paramount be more open to the idea or if King changes his mind on the matter.
What I do know is Art the Clown essentially going to dramatically change killer game play forever!!! They are going to break new ground even before he shows up. They are currently setting up the stones for Art the Clown to make it to the other side. Considering the ambitious direction of the chapter. I felt a few months is plenty time to get the character ready.
Terrifier chapter is exactly what this game needed. It's finally time to remove the blindfolds!!! They are going full in on the horror aspects. They are going to make it a truly unforgettable experience. The kind of stuff you can't stop thinking about or constantly have nightmares about. What franchise is better to achieve such a goal than Terrifier?
Art the Clown is going to make so many killers in the game look like child's play. The fact they are going this big on the character. I waited a few years for that announcement. I really can't wait to play as the character in the near future. Terrifier chapter has a chance being among my favorite chapters to date. We won't know until the chapter drops.
I also hope the lawsuit gets settled or the chapter could be in trouble. There's so many people been waiting for a character like Art the Clown to show up. This chapter should be really mind blowing!!! In the current state of the game can't handle the character the way they wanted. Considering they pushing the limits of the game to make Art the Clown quite faithful to the movies.
"Shut up and take my money!!!" Futurama meme but that's my exact thoughts. This should be truly amazing stuff at it's core. A vastly unique experience that will reveal whose truly brave from the cowards. Art the Clown sounding quite promising at the moment. I am dying to actually see his game play during matches.
I don't think they would delay the chapter to improve on much. Just going by the information given they're working on the chapter with a lot of stuff. Including a few new modes revealed during the stream. I do expect they may introduce an option to censor the gore of Art's finishers. For those who can't handle such blood & gore.
Although if they surprisingly don't do that. I would be more impress they aren't holding back. Art the Clown represents so much in the grand scheme of things. Officially Art would also be the start of newer licensed killers following the tenth anniversary heading towards the twentieth anniversary. What a great horror icon to kick that off with!!!
Art the Clown is going to make massive waves when he comes out. Obviously even before actual game play shown. A lot of people who haven't seen his movies likely going to go check em out. My huge advice is make sure you have a nice size barf bag with a bath room close by. Just in case, the bag became too filled you'll thank me later.
This clown is one truly sick puppy!!! I wouldn't be surprise someone starts an petition to prevent his release in Dead by Daylight. Personally we need such horror characters in the game. We need more of a variety among them. Yes a large amount of licensed killers are slasher villains. I know some quickly throw Art The Clown along with them.
Art the Clown is essentially the most violent among those characters. His indie horror movies doesn't have the regular restrictions bigger movie companies has with horror movies. This also gives the team more freedom to do whatever they want with the character. He possibly could get more cosmetics than some killers in the game as well.
This clown is essentially nightmare fuel when he's killing people. David Howard Thornton truly brought new life to the character. Even if he wasn't involve, I strongly believe he is though. But let's say he isn't, we're still getting a great licensed chapter. Obviously if Thornton involve I really got to play this!!! Of course, he would assist in the game play animations more like Mortal Kombat series.
Even Friday the 13th: The Game done that. Assuming that's how he would be use for the chapter. They might just have him pose as the character while they make in game models of the character. You can tell they really wanna give us a lot of fan service. I really do hope they truly knock this one out the park. I know I went on a bit longer than planned but I'm really excited he's finally coming to the game!!!
