Death Battle Fight Prediction: Selene (Underworld) vs. Alice (Resident Evil)

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, The most occurring movie fight request I see is Selene from Underworld series taking on Alice from Resident Evil live action movie series. Both of them are heroines in something that started out great to have fallen. Let's just say I got a challenge in the makings for just one of these characters.

Regardless, I focus on a particular version of a character per a prediction blog. I have made a few exceptions but here due to how they went about Resident Evil movies. I kinda have to give two different verdicts for the price of one. I am also doing this to prove I'm looking at this from every possible angle.

Selene


Selene was took in by Viktor whose one of the Vampire Elders of her kind. For centuries with vampires fought against Lycans aka werewolves for those new to this franchise. She fell in love with a hybrid of their species. Eventually they get a daughter being a perfect mix of her parents. Selene in just a few movies goes through a lot.

Alice


Alice was working security for the top secret underground facility called The Hive. She wants to bring down the Umbrella Corporation. I'm not going to lie, sometimes she has powers while she doesn't crap. Alice turned out to be a clone of one of the founders of Umbrella. Regardless I have to look at both versions of Alice within my prediction blog.

I do apologize in advance if this gets confusing. I just don't want to hear oh Jack you didn't consider this or you didn't talk about stuff relating to Alice regardless she has powers or not. The simple point is Alice has feats either way. Honestly I can't say I was crazy for her especially after seeing the last couple movies were terrible.

The reason why I'm not including firearms is because sometimes they have to use what they can find. Also by this point, everyone knows both of these ladies uses guns. Oh hell no perverts I wasn't talking about those lol.

Keep in mind, Selene's DNA kept getting stuff added to it. Her standard arsenal is meant for vampires & lycans. Despite having centuries worth of experience, Selene can be emotionally at times. She also can still technically die just taking much more effort to do so. She is so used to being hunted that she doesn't trust people like normal anymore.

Alice


 Alice's powers were easily making her among one of the worst creatures to come across. But those powers got removed by Wesker. Also after the antivirus worked, she permanently loses her powers. Also struggles more often against stronger opponents like Tyrants. While having her powers, she was able to remove some of her biggest flaws that could've been used against her.

Verdict 1 (Alice without powers)


I am not going to lie this is a stomp. Selene has so much over Alice it's not even funny. Alice without powers can't hold her own. But Selene got over six century more experience. Her stats essentially crushes hers badly. Even Selene's specialize bullets for lycans or vampires still can kill humans. Also due to how her DNA evolves through adding blood from a few powerful beings.

Selene become powerful enough for most vampires not being able to read her read. Unless they drink some of her blood. Selene drank the blood of the only person who predates both his sons. Respectively the original vampire & lycan of their species. Among drinking his blood, Selene became stronger than Marcus.

It turns out this also gave her immunity to ultra violet lights as well as sunlight. Thus removed the most fatal vampire weakness. In vice versa, Alice likely won't get far with any weapon. Even if she does seriously wound Selene, this would be a small thing since she has better regeneration out of the two.

She later gain more DNA that greatly further increased most of her stats. Also keep in mind, she is used to hunting lycans. She also had to take on her own kind as well as humans. Alice had to deal with T-Virus to Uroboros Virus creatures. Sometimes she deals with humans but mostly by Umbrella employees.

Alice simply can't stay on top of whatever Selene is doing during this fight. Selene also has superior senses that prevents several possibilities that could happen during a fight from happening. In just hand to hand combat alone, Selene has a more impressive track record. Alice sadly doesn't have very much going for her.

Verdict 2 (Alice with powers)


This is vastly a different fight between the same characters. Although to me, the winner still remains the same. Unfortunately for Alice, her original powers got removed. Even if she still had them, Selene could easily hold her own. Even Alice's mental abilities won't do much to Selene. The reason behind she does have memories of several people inside of her.

Thus this could act like protection that refuses Alice from directly attacking her mind. Also by drinking Alice's blood, she could potentially add her powers to her own. I would say in stats wise this would be a closer fight. Sadly once again Alice has never shown the same level of speed Selene can go.

In terms of strength, Selene could easily handle powerful vampires & lycans by herself. Sure Alice put up a fight against Nemesis & an Tyrant. But Selene's ability to adapt further through drinking blood puts her on a higher level. In other words, it can take awhile for Alice to evolve while Selene could jump start it by drinking blood for the same effect.

In terms of durability, Alice can regenerate to a degree but Selene has bounced back from far more serious injuries. In fact, even I took the time to directly compare a few of them. Some of these knocked Alice out while it just slowed Selene down a little bit. Also Selene isn't as good of a shot Alice is.

Selene has superior firearms that can still kill an human. But the additional effect won't be fatal to Alice. For example, bullets for lycans has silver while bullets meant for vampires has ultra violet light. It is still technically possible to die from silver being left too long in your body. In terms of senses, I would say Alice does have superior eyes while Selene got everything else.

Late in the last movie, Alice survived an antivirus bomb that was stated to kill her. She survived but lose her powers permanently in the process. However the process of taking or giving powers is vastly different in Underworld. It is mostly done by drinking blood while someone's dying. Additional DNA Selene gained trumps Alice at her most powerful with powers.

Even with powers, Alice is still technically alive while Selene being undead. Thus Selene can bound back from several things Alice will struggle with because of it. Selene eventually becomes one of the new Vampire Elders. Alice's blood was essentially the cure to the T-Virus. Although, a clone of an founder used her blood to enhanced zombies.

This clearly meant Underworld's process still exists within Resident Evil movies. Selene has proven to be great at many methods of combat . So she could straight up fight Alice or kill her quickly. Alice may be smarter but she is more arrogant. Which sometimes gets someone killed. Selene has been on the run from both lycans & vampires for awhile.

Alice's firearms simply won't do much to Selene or likely uses too much up ammo trying to hit her. Both of these are strong possibilities or simply getting disarmed by her. Even telekinesis that can push an Tyrant back isn't going to help her much. Of course we do need to mention the clones. Alice usually telepathy talks to them to help her.

On one occasion, she convinced several of them to attack an Umbrella faculty. Honestly even if they came to help her against Selene. I personally don't see them lasting long since it is unclear how long they been awake for or what do they know. So in that regard, Selene will surprisingly have an easy time taking them out.

Also due to being an vampire, Selene doesn't age. Even with powers, Alice can still age. We simply don't know if it had any effect on her aging or not. Thus Selene is essentially always in her prime. The same can't be said for Alice. Obviously I don't think the T-Virus inside of her will do much to Selene.

Her mixture of DNA could handle the T-Virus. So could Michael and their daughter Eve. Essentially she could be possibly immune to it as well. Although that also could be because Alice herself is immune to the same virus. So I felt Selene could safely drink her blood without worrying about such a deadly virus.

Beyond all of that, Alice doesn't have much left going for her. Selene simply trumps even her at her most powerful with ease. After all, Selene did defeat a giant lycan before. Hell an evil Rain clone nearly killed her before. So if she with Jill had trouble fighting her. Selene should have this in the bag folks.

Winner: Selene (Underworld)


I felt one version of Alice just isn't the right opponent for Selene while the other does come closer but still not cigar. Honestly Selene could handle whatever Alice throws at her. She can't even do much to stay on top of whatever Selene is doing. This is a surprisingly straight forward fight for what it is. I felt at best this is likely to be done in 2D sprites.

More impressive Kenpachi feats

Yes this is a follow up to my prediction blog of Kenpachi Zaraki vs. Akuma. But I am mostly focusing on a particular category I didn't get to show off just hoping to make some people happy.

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, recently I wrote a prediction blog on Kenpachi Zaraki vs. Akuma. Which is one of my big dream fights for several years now. I figured since I did showcase some of Kenpachi's feats regarded to his strength & striking force. I felt to prevent confusion from Street Fighter fans to show some of his best speed feats that are canon.

1. Kenpachi can keep up with Byakuya while fighting Yammy aka the strongest Espada

This is impressive for many reasons. Byakuya is considered to be the fastest among the soul reaper captains. Even characters like Ichigo who can go very fast during combat has trouble fighting him. Now throw in a heated argument with the strongest Espada trying to attack both of them. They got upset since the other captain didn't want to finish Yammy off.

Which led to both captains defeating Yammy tanking some notable damage. Keep in mind, prior to getting his Shikai. Kenpachi was close in spiritual pressure to Byakuya being one of the select few captains to do so. Byakuiya has constantly shown to be a speed type character with his own impressive feats.

I should mention Yammy himself confirmed Espada isn't ranked 1 to 10 but actually 0 to 9. He quickly proven to be the most powerful Arrancar of that story arc. Yammy can absorb a lot of spiritual pressure during his sleep then release it in a massive wave that does include regeneration. Yammy's resurreccion transforms him into a giant.

2. Kenpachi can keep up with Ichigo whose one of the fastest characters in their universe

Ichigo & Kenpachi attempted to save Orihime from Coyote whose number 1 rank Espada. Both of them move close to the same level of speed. Ultimately they both missed as shown in this section of the story. If you seen Ichigo vs. Naruto episode of Death Battle, they actually clocked Ichigo to be notably faster than Naruto.

3. One shots Girko in one slash while moving fast to prove a point to him


Ginjo's group used Ichigo to become stronger but soul reapers knew about them. Ichigo was given a lot of spiritual pressure from many soul reapers including from the original head captain himself. Each member of Ginjo's group was given a portion of what used to be Ichigo's spiritual pressure. Girko quickly let the power go to his head to fail seeing the major difference in power with Kenpachi.

4. Kenpachi can keep up with Candice in speed


Candice is considered to be one of the absolute fastest quincies. She's gotten some impressive speed feats herself. Kenpachi was able to surprise her like the picture above not expecting Kenpachi to move that fast. Keep in mind, Candice is a electric theme character. By default she should be faster than lightning making Kenpachi being able to do that even more impressive.

Now I will point out a few bonus Kenpachi feats I felt should be pointed out. This won't be strictly in a particular type category. Also I don't want any real confusion after I showcase more Kenpachi feats in this entry.

1. Kenpachi destroys several buildings in one strike to attempt hitting Yhwach

Early in the series fighting Ichigo, he easily destroyed smaller buildings. So doing it again to attempt nailing a blow at Yhwach with obviously more force. Kenpachi has constantly proven to be a power theme character. Keep in mind, Yhwach effortlessly stopped his attack with ease. The shock wave following it is massive in it's own right.

2. Kenpachi carrying three dead quincies with no problem


Kenpachi was the first soul reaper to take down several quincies. He later carrying three full grown members on his back without any problems. One of them is an hybrid that has gorilla features. Keep in mind, to even carry one full grown person is heavy enough. A dead body is even heavier due to your organs aren't moving.

Add the average dead corpse weight while adding one more & a gorilla corpse. The amount of weight should be enough to back your spine. So I felt this is proof Kenpachi has ridiculous physical strength. Also he didn't even take off his eye patch yet in this story arc. Which makes this particular feat even more impressive.

3. Kenpachi knocks Yammy off his feet


Kenpachi by himself hits Yammy so hard he knocks him a little off the ground. Keep in mind, Yammy quickly proven himself to be the strongest Arrancar. Kenpachi didn't recover much from his previous battle with Espada Nnoitra making this even more impressive. Obviously this took a lot of force to pull something like this with ease.

4. Earlier in Bleach during his battle with Ichigo, Kenpachi slams through a wall

Keep in mind, this isn't a common thing you see in Bleach. Kenpachi slams right through a wall to surprise Ichigo. Clearly the wall itself didn't even slow him down is impressive. Most soul reapers wouldn't even consider attempting this. The fact he didn't have his eye patch off either is a testament to his ridiculous level of strength.

5. Finally I show you Kenpachi destroying several building during his fight with Ichigo


Yes Kenpachi caused destruction to this location with ease. This was proof why he must wear the eye patch. He could easily destroy a city on his own as proven in the picture above. Also it takes a lot of force to do something like this. Likely a small city explosion level at best but still impressive. Kenpachi was showing off his insane spiritual pressure.

6. Kenpachi casually reacts to Ceros from Nnoitra


Ceros are a hollow technique that Arrancars also has access to. During Kenpachi's fight with Espada Nnoitra, he was reacting to Ceros like they're nothing. Bleach has made it clear that attempting to react to a Cero can be difficult to do. But Kenpachi does that with ease in this one epic battle. Keep in mind, in the picture above Kenpachi is still wearing his eye patch making this more impressive.

7. Kenpachi shows up surprising characters including Ichigo

This is proof Kenpachi can be surprisingly fast for a powerhouse character. Keep in mind, Ichigo was weaken from his previous fight with Grimmjow. Nnoitra with his friend were going to ambush him & his friends. Then out of no where Kenpachi appears. Shortly following this, Kenpachi one shot an Arrancar with ease.

Alright I decided to further prove Kenpachi could tank some serious punishment from his opponents. Some of which I'm not going to lie can be difficult to watch. So unless you got a weak stomach or easily freak out, I don't recommend seeing this next section of Kenpachi feats.

1. Ichigo is freaked out Kenpachi still standing with his injuries


Keep in mind, this was Ichigo's first battle against a soul reaper captain. Who knew it was going to be against Kenpachi Zaraki lol. Ichigo easily loss to him before doing a quick training section. He comes right back for a real fight surprising Kenpachi. Both of them take some serious injuries during this particular fight.

2. Kenpachi attacks a few attacks from soul reaper captains Tousen and Komamura

Komamura's Bankai acts exactly like Stands in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure universe. This giant when dealt damage also goes to Komamura himself. He used it to directly attack Kenpachi that greatly damages the location they're fighting at. This force alone is impressive it didn't do much to a guy like this.

3. Kenpachi surprises Tousen while trapped in his Bankai


Tousen can trap his opponents in darkness to prevent their movements. So he attempts to kill Kenpachi to only get his zanpakuto grabbed by him. This is more proof his determination than anything else. Most would've simply given us in the same situation but not this man. He does slow Tousen's attack down a bit while doing that too.

4. Kenpachi tanking a lot of injuries during his fight with Espada Nnoitra

Kenpachi really took a lot of cuts from Nnoitra. I need to point out Nnoitra actually has six arms that each has a claw. He also has six zanpakuto scythes yes I know how can one keep up with all of that? Somehow Kenpachi was able to win against such odds by himself. Even Kenpachi stated, he needed to end the fight before he dies late in this fight.

5. Even after injuries that left him in a comatose state, he recovers only days later
Kenpachi got defeated by Royd & Loyd Lloyd disguised as Yhwach. This was following his victory against three quincies. It was even stated, they weren't even surprise if these soul reaper captains would survive. It turns out all of them that recovered with help does survive in the end. Kenpachi quickly goes back to training.

6. Kenpachi still fine after getting his arm gets completely twisted


This was done by Pernida Parnkgjas whose a god like being connected to the Soul King. Trust me, this thing doesn't even more sense than Yhwach himself. Anyway at one point, Pernida completely twisted one of Kenpachi's arms around. Yet he is still able to wield his weapon like no problem. Realistically that's virtually impossible to do.

There is a particular point you should turn your body parts because you can't move them anymore. Which can cause you to go through surgeries to fix up possibly costing a fortune. The fact he can still move that arm at even is mind blowing. I highly doubt anyone else within Bleach universe could do that.

One bonus Durability feat for the road folks.

Kenpachi in a weakened state survived blows from Candice and Meninas

Meninas has ridiculous strength from increased muscle mass. Now throwing in another capable of using electric attacks. We got a man whose clearly got ridiculous durability. He just defeated Gremmy in a fight, they felt ambushing him would be a good way to impress their king. Honestly it was a clever strategy for what it was.

Yes Kenpachi gets saved shortly after these attempts to killing him. This is one of the few times Kenpachi is wore out. Usually he barely pushes himself long enough to enjoy it. So this is a case even being weakened has proven to take punishment from two vastly different characters like it's nothing. I highly doubt anyone in Bleach could survive the attacks Kenpachi endured during this part of the manga.

Why Yhwach from Bleach doesn't work in any fight debates?

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I have decided to fully reveal how truly broken Yhwach from Bleach actually is. Now there's a lot to cover including those a lot of people don't realize. In fact, I recommend taking this slow with breaks. Trust me when I'm through with you, let's just say you might consider a vacation lol.

Yhwach


Yhwach is the son of the Soul King as well as the source of every quincies' powers. This man conquered most of the human world before having his army taking on soul reapers. Where he fought the strongest soul reaper who ever lived himself that led to him getting burnt beyond ashes. It turns out his entire plan was to essentially remove death from existence altogether yes I'm not kidding.

Keep in mind, he likely has more quincy powers we don't know about.

To sum it up, his own powers makes him nearly impossible to beat. A lot of these additional powers from his servants are broken in their own way. A handful of them prevents death that ultimately would be cheating any fight debate especially a fight to the death version. Yhwach has over two thousand year worth of experience.

This guy could easily win against anyone  as long they don't realize silver to the heart weakness. Yes there's a way to temporary disable his powers. But due to being so insanely powerful, the rate it comes back is very fast. I should mention each quincy that dies. Their souls goes to Yhwach returning that power.

This also increases his overall spiritual pressure as well as lifespan. Which means killing most of them makes this guy ridiculously powerful. Yes he did have the biggest process of regaining his powers that required a thousand years at most. In a way he's like Castlevania's Dracula yet he's broken, lacks a personality or originality for that matter & simply doesn't bring anything good.

There is no limit for how many times he can use his god powers. He can cheat death shortly after using his ability to rewrite the future. Matter Manipulation is essentially controlling all the plains of existence. This isn't a power for battle although he did use it to throw off his enemies before. Obviously that ability would only imply to the Bleach universe.

The amount of abilities this man actually has is ridiculous in and of itself. Some of them are just bland bad I'm not kidding like The Love or The Superstar. I will just confirm this for those discussing Kaguya vs. Yhwach debate to a degree. Yeah to me this really isn't a fight debate. An actual fight debate has ways both of them could win but not here.

Also a real fight debate would bring out more passion & I hate to say toxicity from people than this. Honestly Kaguya being more powerful than Madara. But she simply can't get around a huge amount of powers he does have access to. Sure he relies heavily on his own powers since they're more of what you would expect from a god.

In fact, even how he officially gets killed off doesn't exactly make sense either. Uryu was given a silver arrow to disrupt Yhwach's powers. But Yhwach through using rewrite the future powers broke every Bankai in the future. Instead of breaking his zanpakuto like normal, Zangetsu became his old version to cut him in half.

In my mind, unless they can use silver then quickly kill him or erase him from existence. Yhwach wins by default which really takes away from a real fight debate topic. I seen more promising anime fight debates that's way more worth my time than any that had Yhwach. Well oh okay on an website someone did put him against Lucifer from Supernatural.

Death Battle Fight Prediction: Kenpachi Zaraki (Bleach) vs. Akuma (Street Fighter)

I just wanted to point out Kenpachi always been a personal favorite of mine. Easily one of my favorite anime shinigamis ever. This guy alone is the one person I really wanted to take on Akuma. Let's be honest, Shang Tsung wasn't a good opponent for him. Now Kenpachi would push him much further in comparison.

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I am not sure how often people are throwing out Kenpachi vs. Akuma. But I do have a personal connection due to myself requesting those two to fight on One Minute Melee. Then people wanted more of it getting two more episodes. I honestly couldn't be any happier. So why not what if these two fought against each other on Death Battle, who would win?

Kenpachi Zaraki


Every division within the seireitei has different characteristics. The 11th division is filled with warriors but none of them puts fears in enemies as close as much as their captain. Kenpachi is the eleventh Kenpachi to hold the position. Widely known for his insane spiritual pressure as well as his tedious fighting style.


Akuma aka Oni


Akuma wants to be the strongest by pushing against his very limits. He quickly became a master with Satsui no Hado. But not many opponents can push this man in battle. His fighting skills alone doesn't have many rivals that can keep up. Akuma is even willing to push even further removing the rest of humanity to become Oni.

Due to no learning Kido leaves him only with direct attack methods for battle. Also lacks Shunpo relying exclusively on his naturally enhanced speed. His zanpakuto was only meant for close quarters combat. If Kenpachi's Bankai releases more power than his body can handle, his body will start breaking under the pressure.

While in Bankai, Kenpachi will be a mindless berserker that will attack allies & enemies regardless. Considering his spiritual pressure usually high even among soul reaper captains. He holds back while wearing an eye patch limiter to give his opponents a chance. Also due to his position, when in the human world will have a limiter placed on his spiritual pressure.

Akuma


Although Akuma is a master combatant that can handle anyone. It is possible to dodge the Raging Demon by pure luck or something that prevents it from destroying one's soul. Oni isn't much a strategist. His level of power doesn't have many rivals that could work as a double edge sword. Akuma is incredibly arrogant even towards worthy challengers.

Surprisingly follows a few moral codes. He doesn't like fighting at an unfair advantage surprising I know. Akuma prefers to fight an worthy opponent at their strongest. If an opponent isn't worthy, he won't use much of his power during combat. Also could lose some of his control while being Oni. Akuma also risking his very existence pushing too far within the Satsui no Hado.

I am just letting you know I'm going all out with the verdict. Yes it will be lengthy but filled with my best arguments. Yes like my previous prediction blog, I will be showcasing some feats that match up to why I think this person would win. Please take breaks I don't want to be the reason you're in an hospital.

Verdict


I am not going to lie this was much closer than I thought it was going to be. WOW this really came down to picking the tiniest details to determine who would win out of these two. Obviously they're both widely known to fight strong opponents with some strong similarities in how they do things. It is no question why I love this particular fight so much indeed.

But after much needed thought I have to give this to Kenpachi. Before Street Fighter fans start going wild please allow me to show you why in full details. I warn you some of what I'm about to show you is going to be difficult to take in. Up til the final story arc of Bleach, Kenpachi didn't even know how to properly use his own zanpakuto.

In fact, how he became a captain is unusual. Regularly either you do a paper test or you get recommended by some of the captains. But there also exists defeating your old captain in combat method. Kenpachi challenged him to a duel to quickly become the new captain of that division. Keep in mind, soul reaper captains are very powerful characters yet he done this with little to no training.

Now it's time to start dropping some huge bombs folks. If you were unlucky enough to read the final story arc like me. My next point will start making sense how I'm viewing this fight would go. Akuma is clearly a skilled fighter whose among the most powerful in his universe. He is also widely known for using The Raging Demon that can destroy souls.

Sadly Kenpachi doesn't directly have protection from that. But he can easily avoid this move due to being able to move fast or simply moving into the air. But that's not the point I'm here to make. Kenpachi fought Gremmy who was a quincy with the power of imagination.

Death Battle in Ryu vs. Jin episode brought up the asteroid Akuma destroyed.

To be honest it is impressive that by himself he destroyed an asteroid from outer space. So how does Kenpachi top that? Believe it or not, he actually destroyed an even bigger one in one strike.



I am not great at giving calculations but just judging these two feats side by side. Akuma was roughly one third of the size of the asteroid he destroyed while Kenpachi was a little dot to a much bigger asteroid.



Oh wait this gets more interesting than it actually sounds. I will show another direct part from the same section that occurred before both of those.



Regularly something like this is treated as it could do that or not at all. But Gremmy can do anything just by thinking it. In this particular case, he created an asteroid powerful enough to destroy the seireitei. This by itself could be measured to be country level destruction. So Kenpachi destroying this in one attack technically puts himself on country level or greater.

Basically if this asteroid hit the seireitei, it would've destroyed it among impact. Obviously Akuma done the same feat with just his fists while Kenpachi done it through his zanpakuto. But both of them have proven to be ridiculously powerful characters.

Would you believe me that Kenpachi actually topped that level of force?

Gerard is a god like being with the power of miracle. Essentially the strongest physical quincy that's broken. Keep in mind, this quincy tanked a lot on his own during combat & wasn't slow down or injured. Until he fought Kenpachi that led to a few impressive feats. Like cutting off his arm like the picture above in one slash.

I should mention that feat was done by Shikai Kenpachi with the next one being by Bankai Kenpachi.


Shortly after that Kenpachi cut him mostly in half. Due to being a god like being that's connected to the soul king in his own way. Kenpachi had to possess a ridiculous amount of spiritual pressure that could've killed him during bankai yet still survived long enough to do this.

Oh wait I'm not even done talking about this fight yet. Kenpachi tanked this punch while in the air from Gerard.


Also Kenpachi by himself was to hit him hard enough to send him flying backwards over a cliff while in Bankai.


Prior to that while in Bankai, Kenpachi cuts off his entire arm in one slash.


Thanks to Toshiro Hitsugaya, another soul reaper captain froze Gerard long enough for Kenpachi to lift one of his feet off the ground. He done this entirely by himself proving he has ridiculous physical strength. I should mention this occurs later than the related Gerard fight feats to prevent some confusion.


Sure Oni can still think to a degree while Bankai Kenpachi is a mindless monster. But I just proven Kenpachi does pack a lot more force in comparison. It is even possible for Oni to last long enough to kill Bankai Kenpachi since having too much power can rip his own body apart. Obviously Akume in general does have a more solid combat record.

Yet sticking to just Street Fighter universe, doesn't have much experience dealing with beings from another plain of existence. I should mention that Akuma may not be able to see Kenpachi until Oni comes out. Thus giving Kenpachi a massive advantage that could easily go to waste against Akuma. Sure there was the time Akuma destroyed an island while Ryu was there feat.

However even that doesn't hold up against the feats Kenpachi himself done to Gerard. The fact he even defeated Gremmy is proof he could survive the most ridiculous Akuma can dish out. I'll go out of my way to show some of what Gremmy does to Kenpachi during their battle to help give you an idea.


As stated before Gremmy can make anything he thinks of become reality. I'll show off the time he creates an opening that's actual space. I mean outer space to clarify while Kenpachi tanks it well. This attacks does damage some of his organs.


During this fight takes on multiple Gremmy's at once. Thus greatly increasing the possibility of imaginations by each Gremmy added. This by itself is flat out ridiculous lol.


Yes this actually happened during this fight. Gremmy imagines all of these firearms then fires at Kenpachi. He also fires a few missiles at him shortly afterwards with one of them getting cut in half.

My point of showing this is Gremmy can virtually do whatever he wants but must focus on one person at a time.

If Kenpachi can handle a guy like this then he could take on something like Shin Akuma or Oni. Trust me go look up this fight, it's pretty ridiculous.

I should mention something else critical that not a lot of people will point out.


Usually he fights with one hand wielding his zanpakuto. But he was forced to learn how to properly fight with one by Head Captain Yamamoto himself. During his fight against Espada Nnoitra, he uses this technique with both hands on his zanpakuto that greatly caught Nnoitra off guard. This was done to prove how using it has a different level of force.

The real question is how Kenpachi take on enough punishment from Akuma/Oni to survive? Surprisingly yes he can folks.

Kenpachi has defeated Nnoitra, several quincies including Gremmy and even Ichigo early on. He is even willing to risk tanking a lot of damage that could kill him. This is his biggest reputation among all the soul reapers since no one is that level of craziness.

Also Kenpachi has his own unique fighting style. It is true Akume has fought Oro to a stalemate before. So that wouldn't be much of an advantage. But depending in which plain of existence, Kenpachi is in. Like in the human world, all lieutenants and captains will get their spiritual pressure lowered down enough for balance reasons.

Earlier in Bleach stated by Lieutenant Renji Abarai to Ichigo Kurosaki in the soul society. At the time said I'm five times stronger in the soul society than in the human world. He was confirming all powerful soul reapers at high ranks must agree to a limiter placed on their powers in order to keep the balance.

Yet we never actually seen Kenpachi in the human world. Keep in mind, by default he has his personal eye patch limiter that's meant to help him hold back. It turns out Kenpachi has a serious problem maintaining how much power he puts out during combat. It is likely that Kenpachi will be even weaker there because of that eye patch.

For Akuma this will give him a chance to win. The problem however is Akuma loves being able to fight to his heart's desire. So he would likely find a way to go to another plain of existence through Kenpachi in order to fight him at his most powerful. It is difficult to believe Akuma can be patient enough for that but if he sense Kenpachi being a worthy opponent.

I do see that happening which also likely removes Kenpachi being invisible to his eyes in the process. Although Akuma can actually push himself hard enough to be able to see spirits. Kenpachi himself stated on a few occasions of having a durable body like when he fought Ichigo or Nnoitra. In his fight with Ichigo told him about something he didn't know about spiritual pressure.

He allowed Ichigo to strike him intentionally to prove a point. The force of Ichigo's own attack was actually hurting his own hands rather than harming Kenpachi whose clearly fine. This happened due to the massive power gap between the two. Sure after a quick training section, Ichigo got right back up to barely win against Kenpachi.

Kenpachi also has a few feats where he easily defeated multiple buildings in one strike. Like the time he attempted a blow at Yhwach. Yes it does confirmed to be the real him. When fighting Ichigo, he cut through several small buildings with ease. Yet I'm still not done yet because I haven't even brought out a reason not a lot of people know about.



Yes this was Kenpachi as a kid holding his own against soul reapers. He later fought former captain Retsu Unohana of the 4th division. Keep in mind, she was vastly different than she was in most of the series. Kenpachi has confessed to be terrified of her. In fact they decided one final fight between each other.



She was the original Kenpachi as well as one of the longest to serve as a soul reaper captains for little over a century. This was done for Kenpachi to finally learns how to properly use his zanpakuto. Which led to having getting Shikai as well as Bankai. Prior to this battle, most of his feats was mostly done on raw power as well as amazing endurance.

I am showing this because he was unnaturally strong even as a child. He later defeated one of the strongest soul reapers there is in combat. Not only that finally capable of using his true potential. In other words, he already was one of the most powerful among his rank. Now giving him truly ridiculous power increases makes him even worse to go up against than Akuma.

Here's how I imagine Oni vs. Bankai Kenpachi in a nut shell. Obviously both of them are at their most powerful. Oni still maintains his impressive fighting skills. But Kenpachi just needs to land one fatal blow to win. I just backed up a clear idea how much force he can dish out. Of course this would be the perfect time to use The Raging Demon since Kenpachi at that time being like a mindless monster.

It still not clear if Oni would land his famous move or simply get destroyed by Bankai Kenpachi. After all, he held his own against Gerard whose kinda similar to Akuma in a few ways. Sure he couldn't defeat him with Byakuya and Hitsugaya. But he still serves as how high his potential truly goes.

Honestly Shikai Kenpachi likely has enough going for him to not use his Bankai. It is debatable how close Shin Akuma or Oni would be to Shikai Kenpachi in comparison. I felt Bankai Kenpachi could be simply too powerful for him to handle. Keep in mind, I am not using any non canon feats for both characters.

Simply bringing those in would greatly change this fight. Death Battle even states for anime characters to be mostly using the source material. Akuma does have a lot of moves he can use. He just doesn't have a lot of strength feats. Yes there's a difference between lifting & striking force. Kenpachi seem to have more of both feats in comparison.

I'll break this fight more down to clarify how truly close this actually is. Akuma does have a game over move that he just needs one opportunity to use. He also has a more impressive combat track record in comparison. He also has more confirmed combat experience as well. In just raw power feats, it really came down to whose slightly dealt more actual force.

Kenpachi has shown more raw power in just two intense fights in the final story arc. Also he was a shinigami possibly likely to have the experience advantage. There is even fewer light shine on this than when I covered Sosuke Aizen in another prediction blog. Even fighting with one limiter by default proves just how powerful he truly is.

Akuma does have some impressive reaction speed but Kenpachi can quickly move on the ground as well in the air at much greater speeds. Actually faster than majority of Street Fighter characters in general. This could even come down to the very last move that determines who wins the fight. Honestly their speeds are close enough for this to truly be a epic showdown.

Also there are more notable power gaps for Kenpachi in comparison. His body was technically more durable due to his combat experience & ridiculous spiritual pressure amount. Kenpachi doesn't respect moral code as much as Akuma does. Among those, Akuma will not fight an opponent at an unfair advantage.

To clarify this means for him to allow his opponents a fighting chance. Which could also help with him not being able to see Kenpachi. If given the chance or what I stated earlier about Kenpachi taking him to another plain of existence for a fair fight that will satisfy both characters. I should mention the time Akuma tanks an erupting volcano jumped to the moon but he was Oni during that.

Shikai Kenpachi easily cut through lavas during his fight against Gremmy. So clearly that wouldn't slow him down either. Kenpachi is even willing to risk his very life for a great battle. Which would mine he likely has greater endurance as well as determination out of the two. Neither has many defensive options making this a straight forward force fest.

With everything considered Akuma is truly the perfect opponent to take on Kenpachi Zaraki. Their advantages are even so close that anything could possibly happen in such a fight. But in the end, I believe due to showcasing more raw power, ridiculous physical strength, an original fighting style, more durable body and proven to hold his own in many ways.

I must respectively give this fight to Kenpachi Zaraki. After all, for a soul reaper captain not properly using his zanpakuto for the longest time. He also proven to be one of the absolute strongest soul reapers there ever was even before he officially gotten both his Shikai & Bankai. This also suggests some of these impressive feats were done using a notable fraction of his overall potential too.

Another way to think of this is Akuma transforming into Oni becomes a supernatural being. In this case becomes a demon which would be like a hollow in Kenpachi's universe. But Kenpachi is a shinigami by birth thus he already was a supernatural being. Soul reapers can reap souls even from hollows with plenty of proof backing that up.

Also Kenpachi or another soul reaper has to reap Akuma's soul before any hollows gets involved. In this case, they have to act fast since a powerful soul like this can even get the attention of Gillians. Like the duel Ichigo & Uryu done early on that caused one Gillian to appear. Only two hollow types are more powerful than those not including Arrancars due to being hybrids of several species.
