Death Battle Fight Prediction: Nemesis (Resident Evil) vs Magician (The House of the Dead)

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I'm going to do another matchup with Resident Evil's Nemesis I actually like. I previous put Nemesis against BioShock's Subject Delta. A rather fun matchup to cover. Now he's back to face The House of the Dead's Magician. Which is going to be another interesting matchup to cover.

Verdict
Magician

Despite Nemesis being the more known undead video game monster. I can't ignore some of the advantages Magician has in this fight. Yes Nemesis has a rocket launcher as well as tentacles. It's up to you if you wanna give him an Gatling gun. Personally I don't think that matters much.

Nemesis used a rocket launcher to destroy an helicopter. But Magician right before his boss fight in The House of the Dead 2 caused notable damage to a large building. He came from inside that building to face AMS agents outside. This version of the monster was still damaged from the previous game.

We never seen Nemesis do this much damage. Magician simply used his power to do that. Magician also can fly around firing orbs. It's no surprise as fast Nemesis is. He can easily out run Jill to a point within the story. Magician is notably a lot faster with his orbs making faster than any of his weapons.

Although the games says his weakness unknown. The usual spots on Magician's body are his weakness. I don't think Nemesis going to caught on to that though. He's likely going to tank damage while getting overwhelm with speed at the same time. Magician can easily survive a rocket or easily avoid it.

Nemesis does have regeneration like most tyrants. But his protective coat also holding back his mutation. Technically Nemesis has two brains. His usual brain with another implanted by Umbrella to control him. Basically Nemesis is a super soldier they control. At the time of his creation was Dr. Curien's greatest creation.

Nemesis' protective coat was designed to withstand rockets. But considering that building feat, it's safe to say Magician got the fire power to damage possibly destroy that coat. It's also true Nemesis could find another tyrant model. Let's be honest, this is more of a particular situation than something likely going to happen in a fight.

Therefore, I can't actually consider that. Even if I did, the final form of Nemesis either version of Resident Evil 3 still going to lose. Even considering a rail gun in the newer version too him out. Originally either Jill fires a few magnum shots or leaves him to get blown up.

Confirmed in Resident Evil: Requiem. Most previous infected were wiped out by a nuclear missile. There's no way Nemesis going to survive that missile!!! To be fair, none of the games within The House of the Dead games used nuclear at all. The zombies were notably smarter in majority of the series.

More recently in Resident Evil: Requiem somehow maintain some of their memories. Magician actually capable of talking rather than groans or S.T.A.R.S.!!! from Nemesis. This confirms Magician is the smarter tactician in this fight. By default, we can consider Magician whose not wearing any kind of protection to be more durable.

Magician's flight speed is too fast for Nemesis to keep up with. Magician more likely caught up to how to harm Nemesis first. Which is going to be the most critical advantage in this fight. Nemesis may have regeneration it does have limits. Magician also dies with a powerful explosion that could potentially take out Nemesis.

Assuming if he could get that far with him. His speed advantage makes Nemesis weapons virtually useless. Even if he lands any blows, Magician simply tank em. It's also true Nemesis' nerve system was remove to prevent him backing off from pain. This also indirectly working against him as well.

Not having that Nemesis not going to realize when he should run or change tactics to survive. Another critical advantage Magician has in this fight. Magician can easily outlast Nemesis in a prolong fight. Most tyrants gets destroyed through explosives. The best way to think of this fight.

We have a capable monster simply incapable of doing anything to another somehow scarier monster. Nemesis needs a rocket launcher to blow things up while Magician constantly throw orbs. Hell Magician can create a bigger orb that's going to wipe Nemesis out.

Winner: Magician (The House of the Dead)

It's a little tricky to get into The House of the Dead series recently. But it does have some truly fun light gun games.
