The original Scary Movie surprised a lot of people when it hit theaters. Also among my favorite Ghostface movies ever!!! Unfortunately most of them gotten rushed out by the Weinstein brothers. They also done a rather terrible move stealing the franchise from the Wayan brothers. I still found some enjoyment in majority of the movies.
There's a few notable road blocks including Paramount merged with Warner Brothers. Discovery. Scary Movie 2 parodied a lot more movies than the original. I felt this is the most mixed received entry in the franchise. Either you like it to a degree or dislike it altogether. Especially being bias in favor of the other Scary Movies films you like more.
Let's get something straight here there's another parody horror movie called Repossessed. Which is a full parody of The Exorcist with Linda Blair doing a similar character to Regan of that film. I felt how Scary Movie 2 parodied The Exorcist was done better!!! The only entry to have Tim Curry whose an amazing actor!!!
I could discuss Scary Movie 3-5 but the Wayans not going to include anything from those movies in a crossover. Due to respect I actually have to stand with them. I would refuse to buy anything from those movies after what the Weinstein brothers done after they taken the franchise from them. I know they won't receive a penny of this crossover.
It's like how some people felt about a few people found guilty of child stuff that's disgusting. Even if they aren't involve with newer entries, people still heavily against those franchises. I felt it would be a good idea to not use Scary Movie 3-5 for this crossover. Thankfully that leaves us with three Scary Movie films to work with.
My shortest pitch is for the original Scary Movie chapter. They already gotten Ghostface with the exact variation of the mask in the game. All that's missing is Cindy maybe Brenda to show up as survivors. Scary Movie 2 could give us the famous haunted location of that movie as a new map. They have two possible options for who the killer could be?
Hugh Kane who was a parody of Hugh Crain from The Haunting remake. Hanson the guy with a weird disfigured hand gets a parody Charlie's Angels fight scene. The character later came back as Shorthand being a parody of Longlegs. There's a few issues going with Kane. They have a few spirits among the killers.
Also considering we don't actually see much of the ghost in the movie. They are going to have a difficult time making him stand out from the other spirits. Scary Movie (2026 film) focuses on Ghostface again that gets a bit weird. Oh okay much weirder than how it was in the original Scary Movie.
They still have a few possible cosmetics for Cindy and Brenda. They also could be allowed to get the more high Ghostface mask into Dead by Daylight. The same characters that suddenly goes through different situations not possible in the other entries. This actually would help both of them to adapt against the killers.
Scary Movie also could easily sneak in a couple jokes. Just for fun, we need the Wayans' characters as legacy skin characters. Especially getting both of them to reprise their roles with voice overs. Hell getting voice overs in general would truly bring this crossover to life. I do think this crossover going to be better than Scary Movie 4 and 5 respectively.
Yeah we don't wanna talk about Scary Movie 5!!! This is going to be a surprisingly fun franchise to crossover into the game. They easily add in lighter aspects while still occasionally dark stuff. This is a comedy horror movie franchise that's meant to give people a good laugh. Even the controversial stand they had towards people regarding the newest entry.
They also could directly tie in Scary Movie 7. Which both sides could hype the hell up a lot. The fact people got that excited over Dead by Daylight cameo in the movie. The crazier direction from the little we do know. I felt this crossover going to do very well. Cosmetics is going to be such a high point. I already know all parties going wild for this!!!
This might be just me I also would like the googles that allows them to see ghosts. This device a parody of the the glasses in Thirteen Ghosts remake and the googles in Hollow Man 1 respectively. Personally I think some people would love to see those make it into the game. The Wayans being heavily involve is going to key for it's success.
They even could reference A Haunted House series. Which would technically be spiritual sequels to the first two Scary Movie films. More directly Scary Movie 2 since those parody horror movies has the same theme. Scary Movie is also going to make new cosmetics to some franchises still in Dead by Daylight.
Although they would need to get permission from those movie companies first. Assuming they do really opens up the door for this crossover. For me, Scary Movie was a huge YES for so many reasons. Scary Movie would bring so much to the overall experience. Somehow all the insanity comes together in a way that's like the original Scary Movie in a nut shell.
