My concept of Shaun of the Dead for a chapter (Dead by Daylight)

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, look I know a lot of recent blog entries inspired by a particular survey is getting a bit out of hand. Currently this is the last one I planned to write. Shaun of the Dead is a timeless classic that should crossover into Dead by Daylight soon. I hope more people see some of what I see within such a possible future crossover concept.

It's the first entry in Three Flavours Cornetto. Along with Hot Fuzz and The World's End are classified by particular flavored Cornetto ice cream cones. Shaun of the Dead being strawberry, Hot Fuzz representing classico and The World's End oddly being mint. I felt two of these movies could come together for a crossover.

Sadly the most successful among them, Hot Fuzz going to be excluded. It's the only entry not in any shape horror or a scenario that could scare people. I could respect all parties wants to keep it exclusively Shaun of the Dead for a crossover. After all, only Shaun of the Dead shown up in the listing for that survey recently.

I know some might view this being ridiculous. If a movie is made very well then you really can't get enough of it. Shaun of the Dead was a huge love letter to Romero's Dead series. Even the late Romero gave them respect for that comedy horror movie!!! Many comical zombie stuff wouldn't happened if it weren't for this zombie movie!!!

Z Nation, Dead Rising, Zombieland and many more to name here. I will get a few obvious problems out the way. There isn't anyone that could fit the role of the killer from this movie. I do agree Shaun needs to come into the game as a survivor. Especially if the actor reprise the role with voice overs. He's also close friends with Nick Frost who play Ed in the movie.

If he's on board, so will Frost giving us two of the main characters right off the bat. Yes I really would love for Zombie Ed to be a cosmetic skin in the game. Speaking of cosmetics they easily could reference a lot of scenes or characters from the movie. Officially they done an handful of chapters with just one character coming to the game.

More often they do half chapters with a lot of them being licensed. I do think they could work with that angle. I just can't justify a full chapter unless they plan to go even bigger than that. Then I'm on board with this crossover. Shaun of the Dead chapter would make a lot of people happy. I was quite happy to see it in the survey myself.

I know some rather get a few other franchises that actually has much more to pull off. Look I hear ya on that front but Shaun of the Dead is a rather unique comedy horror movie that justifies such a demand. It's a notable factor that led to many zombie franchises. They easily sneak in a couple jokes for fun. If I had to request a particular easter egg joke.

I wanna see Zombie Ed with a controller in his hands. Then he attempts biting towards us referencing a scene. I also wanna see a few cosmetics for Shaun. If they could fit some of the other characters as legacy skin characters. I do think that also would make a lot of people happy. Shaun of the Dead truly brought new life to the zombie genre that was declining in some ways at the time.

Let's be put we are due for a franchise like this coming to the game. It also would help more people that gets turn off by dark stuff to keep on playing the game. Shaun of the Dead should felt like a party you never wanna leave!!! I'm not expecting a map for this crossover. But assuming that could be on the table.

The famous The Winchester Tavern set up with a good amount of outside sections. Of course, you need to be able to go inside the place. Personally it would take a lot appeal away if we get this map. Yet for whatever reason can't actually go inside that place would been such a huge let down!!! Shaun of the Dead also would tie in more to the British fans.

I also wanna see the famous cricket bat get reference as well. It would be hilarious for an idle animation while waiting to get into matches. If Shaun suddenly gets out a record then throws it like a Frisbee. Just like a particular scene in the movie when he threw a few records at a zombie. Another funny idle animation they could do if they allow an zombie to briefly show up.

Shaun getting attacked with an zombie trying to bite him. Suddenly Shaun held the zombie's head up while Ed takes a picture with a camera. Stuff like this I hope may get reference in Dead by Daylight. For me, every little thing this movie does just sticks for a long time. Now that's a testament of a great comedy horror movie!!!
