My thoughts on Elbaph Arc in One Piece

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I figured to give my current thoughts on Elbaph Arc in One Piece manga. Originally I was going to wait doing this. I highly doubt any of the notable One Piece YouTubers going to check any of my One Piece blogs out. I actually got so much to say with a high risk of major spoilers coming out.

Current One Piece chapter is Chapter 1146

I know it's an challenge I'll try very hard to not directly spoil much of this current arc. I will confirm this is way more interesting than I originally thought. This blog post could've been a lot shorter as well as not emotion packed as it was for me. I simply wanted to give my current thoughts on this current arc. Obviously many people's views likely differ a little or a lot from my own that's fine.

Directly following the insanity that is Egghead Arc. We knew during a couple chapters exactly where the crew going next. Let's just say some of their expectations regarding the location isn't what they thought it would be. This also is among many locations not allied with the World Government. This is where most of the giants comes from.

Of course I'm talking about Elbaph aka Elbaf. The giants helped saved the crew from the Five Elders. You also know more of the lore in some areas going to get revealed to a degree. Don't go in thinking it's just another recreation of the fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk it's not that at all. There is a notable Norse mythology influence that I really enjoyed.

Originally I thought this was going to be a smaller, somewhat important arc. We are talking about about little to no actual combat. Just stuff to help move the plot forward. I really didn't expect a lot of stuff that happened. I can confirm one of two final wars I predicted is currently under way. I actually felt the World Government going to make a difficult situation.

Which should lead to the conclusion of this arc. There's already some great surprises to keep things rather interesting. Some of it may raise some great questions. Just not sure when the author may deliver the very answers a lot of people seeking right now. I simply love most locations the crew goes to ends up being so different to the point of actually being unique.

I can tell you this island isn't disappointing. Things are finally getting heat up the way you want em to. I am possibly expecting some truly huge bombs to get drop. To clarify, some reveals the world going to be very surprise about. Considering the amazing work this author does. You can safely say there's a lot of those left in him.

Arcs like this is exactly how One Piece differs from most Shonen stories. Most of them are rather faster pace with some story maybe roughly barely any at all. Yes Dragon Ball Z to up I'm looking at you. One Piece always been more of the story above everything else. Otherwise why care so much for anything happening in the first place?

I might be one of the few people to think of that in this light who really knows. One Piece does everything so amazingly well. The length is very notable I get that. At the same time, this author isn't losing steam like most of the manga authors. In fact, he kept improving as time went on. I strongly felt by the end of this story virtually nothing ever going to top it.

I'm not worried about the author getting rushed out for a few great reasons. Although, indirectly that's why manga companies rather have authors do a few years within their manga stories. Also they felt doing that they may get more money from newer authors or previous ones with newer series. None of them ever going to come close to this author.

He is a true visionary that's deeply inspired by his own creation. Which does explain why his story still going today. I have some experience reading some rather long manga series. Mostly the Big 3 being One Piece, Naruto and Bleach respectively. I can't say most mangas even came close to One Piece. Even over one thousand one hundred chapters it's a really great story.

Obviously One Piece is currently my favorite of the Big 3. Which just saved me writing an blog entry on that. One Piece always done well with so many characters. Especially during wars it's amazing how well the story goes with so much action going on. You can expect that for this current arc we're in. The longer this story becoming, the more I just wanna get into the franchise.

It's like giving kids a lot of candy for Halloween. Then they start eating with people given them. Some of us just can't help ourselves to read more One Piece chapters recently. I can understand people are becoming burnt out from doing that. Thankfully there's a few other manga series I'm currently reading on the side.

Black Clover, Berserk and Chainsaw Man respectively. All of which currently within their final arcs. I been considering to dive further into the Seinen Big 3. Before I can explain what exactly makes up that trio. What's the difference between Shonen and Seinen? Shonen is more meant for an younger audience. Of course kids reading stuff like Chainsaw Man sure oh okay lol.

They are more meant to be lighter stories with not so much of the more mature aspects. Which is deeply represented in the older audience of genre for Seinen. Also Shonen is more directly about combat as well as some goals to improve themselves. Seinen is more realistic that has a stronger focus on story telling.

You might get some action but everything ultimately makes more sense long term. Most Shonen stories is weekly while most Seinen stories being monthly. Basically weekly at best the authors gets out three chapters an month compared to just one chapter in the same period. Thus, monthly manga authors has much more time to complete their chapters before submitting em in.

Now we gotten that out the way what makes up the Seinen Big 3? Berserk, Vagabound and Vinland Saga respectively. I'm already deep into Berserk myself. I absolutely loved that story for so many reasons. I have an friend that told me stuff about the other two series in that trio. I bring all of this up because One Piece does have some rather serious topics that comes up to a degree.

It's not quite Seinen especially compared to the Dark Trio. Which barely labeled as Shonen at all with some of the stuff within those stories. One Piece has a greater focus on the story. One Piece also has some rather mess up moments as well. One Piece is virtually the perfect younger variation of Seinen in a nut shell.

One Piece is constantly setting up many twists. Some of which you likely didn't even knew were coming. One Piece can get rather serious without warning. There's plenty of moments good and bad that always stick with ya. This is deeply being showcased in the current arc we're in. I simply love how incredibly deep One Piece gets with things.

It's like that one friend that surprisingly sums up things in a way that's perfect. I do think we're approaching the other final war that's fated to happen in the near future. Yes we're in the Final Saga however it's made up of several arcs. All of that together is essentially the ending portion of the story. One Piece always went bigger than it's competition why stop now?

You probably tell how much this story means to me. I been looking forward to reading One Piece for a long time. Possibly if I recalled a few years after I graduated from high school a long time now. I knew I was going to love One Piece as soon as I started watching the anime version. The original anime version since there's a remake anime show on the way.

I do think some rather huge surprises will be showing up soon. Some of which is going to determine where the crew going next. My theory where that could be is Blackbeard's main territory. If you think about it, three captains all drew straws. Luffy ended up going to Egghead. By now you may already know the chaos that happened.

The craziest destination with Luffy coming out on top making his Emperor status a rather fitting one. This current location was from Kid's straw. Which means if we're lining them up. In truth, Luffy will be facing Emperor Blackbeard following this arc. Unless something important comes up first. If I'm right on the money that's going to be the actual final arc for the story.

One Piece is much more than it first appears to be. No one expected a story this great. This current arc going to be such an emotional roller coaster. Maybe right up to it's conclusion I guess we will see. I been absolutely enjoying this story for years. I strongly felt the chaos we're currently going through. We may get a surprisingly lighter ending that's satisfying enough to make most people happy.

I don't expect their current enemies to lose by normal means. We don't even know if they can do much to prevent em from causing further harm or not. What we do know is the World Government has some rather mess up individuals within it. I am expecting the enemies to be forced to go back to the holy land. I'm just glad it won't end like Goku Black Arc or I would've been upset.

We may get a few complete fights on the way during the arc it's difficult to say for sure. I didn't expect this level of excitement from it though. This author really knows what he's doing with the story. One Piece already the single best selling comic book franchise in the world. Yes even more so than both DC and Marvel's best selling comic book franchises.

One Piece is a story that always improving itself to some degree. You always get more reasons to care for a lot of characters. At the same time why you heavily dislike the villains. The author knows how to bring out such raw emotions within people just like the author of Chainsaw Man as well. One Piece is possibly more filled with creativity than The Simpsons which is really saying a lot I know.

So many arcs that all had notable different factors with some going through some rather cool themes. Which does include the current arc as well. One Piece is going to be the stuff of legends when it's finished. Just imagine the entire story in one ridiculously huge manga volume like a giant book. You know those books that has the rules for pirates within many pirate theme franchises.

One Piece itself is treasure to the right people that simply can't get enough of it. The franchise always brought such joy as well as a major blast of inspiration among many other things. I'm so happy the author continued writing this story. Who cares the story ends up going two to three thousand chapters long?

I'll continue reading it until the story is finished or I die. One Piece is something truly amazing at it's core. You are constantly observing such an unique world. We get to watch the crew travel around the world literately. They always finds a way through some rather difficult situations. Despite all the unpleasant stuff, the crew still ends up being rather very kind people.

I felt there's still plenty of life left in this story. I'm expecting roughly five to six years for the story to possibly end at this point. Right now that depends on how much more of this current arc we got left. For all we know it could be fewer or more years. The only person to know for sure is the author himself. I really can't wait to see how this arc going to end in the near future.
