My reaction to X3 Speed Anime Watching

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I always been an otaku for a long time. I even married a fellow otaku, my amazing wife. Obviously anime is something truly special to us. Recently I found out some anime fans are rush watching anime shows by X3 speed. Honestly, I'm quite unhappy people are actually doing this. I promise to not hold back my feelings on the matter.

There's plenty of shorter anime shows around. There's also a lot of notably longer anime shows as well. In both regards doing this to either I loss respect for you. Shorter anime shows are a nice length to see if you wanna watch more anime shows or not. I personally felt there's no real reason to rush em at all. The usual shorter anime show lengths differs around 12 to 13 episodes with a few being shorter than that.

Longer anime shows can be hundreds of episodes. As much you wanna say you got so much going on. You still have enough time to watch at least one episode per a day. Also a few seasons of these shows really sits everything up long term. Of course depending on languages you're watching. You might need subtitles to help you understand what you're watching.

Obviously if you are watching any anime show with subtitles. At times you may wanna pause maybe rewind a little bit to stop. In order to read what was just said by the characters. I can actually respect people doing this while watching anime shows with subtitles. At least you are respect the culture as well as the people that made the shows you're watching.

Now X3 speed watching them you are missing out on so much by rushing through episodes. Unavoidably you may get confuse what's going on. Sometimes people stop watching over this. The audio in particular ruined disrespecting everyone involved. So what if you wanna watch over an hundred episodes of a long anime show within a day.

I fail to see how doing this is any real enjoyment. To me, you are actively making a form of entertainment into a chore or simply torturing yourself. Simply because you got nothing else to do. Realistically, more people could read then recall stuff at similar speeds than watching em. Although it's actually easier to memorize what you just watched.

You are skipping through most moments including the critical ones. I can't even call you an anime fan. A true anime fan wouldn't even consider rush watching em like this. So what it takes you a long time to get caught up on long anime shows like One Piece. There's so many reasons a lot of anime shows are popular. Simply doing this also disrespects the true anime fans as well.

I'm already not happy about One Piece getting an remake anime show that's meant to be a faster pace story. Which is almost the same as people doing this. I say almost because at least they are still respecting what they're working on. Personally, this newer anime show going to cut so much. The author likely going to cancel it in record time.

One Piece always meant to be a heavily story driven adventure. How is it suppose to be that if a lot of rememberable stuff gets cut? Removing a lot of that ruins some great stories. Just imagine Hunter x Hunter 2011 never done the Chimera Ant arc. Another great example is what if Yu Yu Hakusho never done the Dark Tournament saga?

It simply isn't the same, they wouldn't live up to their full potential. Some people expect to recall everything they ever watched this way wow. There does exist a real condition people can remember everything. I don't even think they would do this. Anyone doing this to anime shows isn't a true anime fan.

There's already people speed running video games as a career. One of them confessed it's a stressful way of life. I'm already mixed on the Chainsaw Man situation. This sorta felt like that, people are becoming too impatient to wait for stuff. Just imagine if Christmas you were lucky to get anything on such short notice.

Just be thankful whatever you do get from people. Here they are so spoiled to keep doing this to many anime shows. Obviously, there's so many anime shows in the world. There's a lot of anime conventions especially within the United States. Honestly, it kinda makes me sick. It makes me feel not only disappointed but quite angry too.

If you are doing this to shorter anime shows with one season, you are a spoiled brat. If you are doing this to notably longer anime shows with a lot of seasons. Then you may have a few problems. You might even need a doctor to help you long term. Look I'll be brutally honest, anime is a form of entertainment millions possibly billions of people enjoy.

They are likely doing this to anime movies too. A lot of franchises has a lot of movies. We are talking Pokemon & One Piece to name a few. Anime movies are suppose to be notably longer than a few episodes of an anime show. A lot of them are also non canon. Which also allows some rather interesting possibilities that otherwise couldn't happen.

A lot of anime movies are surprisingly stand alone like Spirited Away or Kiki's Delivery Service. True fact, one of our cats actually named as the main witch of Kiki's Delivery Service. Anime movies usually has a notably higher budget than anime shows. Thus, you doing this towards anime movies is even more disrespectful to everyone.

Anime should be something to look forward to. Spend a couple hours enjoying em. If you can with another person that's awesome too. Anime is not only a form of art but one of many universal languages. It always meant so much to a lot of people. To me, it's mind blowing this is actually a thing some of them are doing.
