Many video games are on the verge of going extinct. In this case, what I mean is they're becoming more lost to times. The hardware they originally ran out differs how long they'll last. Also people often forget some failure game consoles had some amazing games too. There's possibly thousands to millions of video games currently sharing the same sad fate.
Some game companies as well as the DRM-Free PC gaming service GOG trying to prevent that. I think it's critical to save as many older games as possible. Some having additional factors like multiple companies for license games. It's a major reason why I more prefer looking forward to them than newer games.
I got some ideas what either game company could possibly bring back to a degree. After all Fighting Force Collection is happening. If that's coming then a lot more video games suddenly has the same opportunity. In all honestly, the list of forgotten games is quite lengthy. Most gamers owe their lives to these master pieces that almost became lost to time.

Yes you can get a lot of these games on GOG. But how Nightdive Studios remasters classic games is truly mind blowing. I am really looking forward to playing Killing Time: Resurrected soon. Also notice some of Limited Run Games releases isn't on Xbox and GOG. The important thing is most platforms now has those once forgotten classics for newer fans to experience.
