Death Battle Fight Prediction: Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street) vs Pennywise (It)

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I been considering remaking several Death Battle predictions into blog forms. Among those I kept coming back to a perfect one for an future Halloween Death Battle episode. I previously voted for this. I strongly felt they could do a lot with such an unique concept.

Freddy Krueger whose an vengeful spirit that stalks teenagers for the most part. He'll be taking on an entity calling itself Pennywise. Both are experts at exploit people's fears. It's safe to say we're putting two god like beings against each other. Although I already know whose going to win this fight.

Verdict
Pennywise

There's several major factors to consider here. To some degree, these two monsters can warp reality. However Freddy does that in the dream world. Unless a particular crossover comic version that fused with the Necronomicon. The famous book of the dead from Evil Dead franchise.

Where he gets majority of his powers in the real world. Even going with this version of the character. He possibly could scale to being universal at best. Which isn't bad but really pales in comparison to Pennywise. Who existed before an multiverse going with the book canon version.

This by itself presents many critical advantages Pennywise has. Such as he existed before an multiverse time may not matter. But he did go to a particular universe billions of years ago. This really trumps Freddy hard in the experience category. Considering both are experts at exploiting fear within their victims.

A major factor is both can ready their victim's minds to achieve this. Which bags the question who could exploit this first? Unfortunately Pennywise existing before an multiverse means his mind way too complex. Not to mention with his insanely long life span.

Freddy would need a lot more time to do this. Assuming he could actually attack Pennywise's mind. On two occasions, Freddy's mind gotten attacked before. Such as when Alice who was pregnant at the time used. Her unborn child's dream to surprise attack Freddy.

The following movie, Freddy's Dead his own daughter entered his mind by force. Another huge factor is fear itself. Confirmed in Freddy vs. Jason by Freddy himself. He requires enough fear to harm possibly kill people. However Pennywise already has the perfect counter to this.

For several billions of years, he's been manipulating people. He easily could get an entire town forget about Freddy with ease. This would greatly weakened Freddy in the process. Freddy also loses majority of his powers in the real world. People forget through loop holes, Freddy can enter the real world.

Usually by possessing people or at one point his own bones. It's also unclear how many powers Freddy has in the real world. Regardless which method gotten him there. In vice versa, Pennywise obviously the more insanely powerful being. He exists in a way that's similar to several DC's Gods like Darkseid.

Pennywise uses an avatar in that universe. For a long time, he used to hunt full grown humans. It's unclear when he started directly stalking children. Freddy goes after teens while Pennywise goes for even younger children is kinda mess up!!! Some stuff happened that led to Freddy becoming an monster.

Pennywise always was pure evil from the very beginning. Pennywise is an ancient entity after all. This also would limit how Freddy could win. For Freddy to win, he needs to kill the actual entity. The Losers Club thought they killed Pennywise off for good.

The character in this case another avatar of the entity shown up in another universe. Which means if you kill his avatars, the entity still lives!!! Even giving Freddy that book wouldn't help at all. Pennywise could get around Freddy's immortality to end him for good.

This is through using his dead lights. Which does represent Pennywise's true form. A statement about that form is either among seeing it. Possibly could cause insanity or their minds can't accept it at all. It's a tricky situation to attempt explaining. Essentially your mind can't properly imagine that form.

The rest of your body simply doesn't register this. It's exactly why some people float among seeing that form. Plus that's Pennywise causing em to do so. It's safe to assume Pennywise could exploit the solo dream kill method as well. In A Nightmare on Elm Street 4, Alice says parts of a song.

Which caused every soul within Freddy to fight back. Ultimately leading to his demise in that movie. In comparison, Freddy couldn't properly recreate the Losers Club's final win method. More or so that particular winning method was exclusive to them.

Yes I know what some Freddy fans going to say? "Of course Freddy could recreate that!!!" Yes it could but effectively it wouldn't do much to him at all. Simply because Freddy never met em. He likely couldn't attack Pennywise's mind. Therefore he couldn't properly recreate any of them.

Even if he did know what they look like. Again it had to actually be them for that to win. Now how Alice beaten Freddy the first time could've been done by others. Let's be honest, Pennywise easily cause a stalemate in the dream world. Actual proof being before he discovered water scares Jason.

Virtually nothing he was doing stopping him. If Freddy couldn't stop Jason prior to that. Then what chance does he have against Pennywise? Virtually none that's what Pennywise could easily warp the real world. Which would've easily countered Freddy with that book factor.

Sure Freddy could do some truly ridiculous things. Again, Pennywise is too insanely broken of a character for any of that to matter. Basically Freddy has major flaws Pennywise can easily exploit. In comparison, there really isn't much Freddy could work with.

Freddy would be lucky Pennywise doesn't go right for the kill. Even considering the dream world, Freddy could only delay the inevitable for so long!!! Freddy has no solid kill method to the actual entity. Even if he did, Pennywise too insanely powerful anyway.

Pennywise easily has all the major advantages in this fight. Sure this could be seen as a massive stomp. I still think there's other factors that make this such an amazing Halloween Death Battle episode. I'm still quite happy I voted for this. In all honestly, the actual mind blowing conclusion fitting for the show.

Winner
Pennywise (It)

The Toxic Avenger (2025 version)

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I finally got to see the new Toxie movie. Don't worry this won't be an negative review. Quite the opposite in fact I'm very happy with the movie. I do see a new beginning to such a mess up superhero franchise. Lloyd Kaufman passed the torch to the director of this movie. I can promise you this is very true to the source material.

The Toxic Avenger (2025 version)

The movie centers on a dying dad. All chips were down things kept getting worst. He's been trying to take care of his son. I love the entire direction of the story. I'm even into Winston before he mutated into the Toxic Avenger. The classic version, Melvin wasn't nearly as believable of a character. This is among the bloodiest Toxie movies to date.

I also gotta point out two of the actors in the movie. Taylour Paige and Kevin Bacon also starred together in similar roles for Beverley Hills Cop: Axel F. Funny enough if this had came out it's original release date. The Toxic Avenger would've been out first. Instead this came out a little over an year after Axel F respectively.

The director was a huge Troma fan. He even gotten Lloyd Kaufman very sold on this Toxie movie. Yes Kaufman does cameo late into the film. I felt this version of Toxie is very relatable. Before he's gotten mutated, he was like everyone else. Simply allowing bad people taking advantage of others. He does get briefly killed off such a risky move.

This twist how he gotten mutated into the Toxic Avenger. Possibly could've been an reference to some variations of  DC's The Joker's origins. He simply gotten reborn to become the very hero this town needed. It sorta plays heavily on the underdog concept. When everyone else already given up. Out of no where came this mutated hero to save everyone.

I was quite impressed how well done everything truly was. Being a higher budget version of a low budget cult classic. I'm surprised the higher budget never took away from that. Of course, you do get the occasionally cursing at times. This was a very top the top superhero movie. The story was more serious than expected.

At the same time, it was borderline perfection in recreating the classic Troma style. Somehow the director properly modernize the concept. To be quite honest, some of the characters were more rememberable than expected. This one company is slowly killing off it's own population. Now that easily could've been inspired by some villains from Captain Planet and the Planeteers cartoon show.

Speaking of that, Toxie sorta reminds me of Duke Nukem. Not the famous video game character!!! As in Captain Planet villain of the same name. I love how both people portraying the character so well. I watched the unrated version not for kids!!! There's plenty of surprises as you continue watching the movie.

If you're a Troma fan you may notice some references to their movies. This easily had the best story in a Toxie movie by far. Not to insult some of my favorite Toxie movies. Toxie quickly steals the show you know you absolutely nailed it!!! I also loved the mop plays into his character as well. Even before he's gotten mutated.

Of course, Kevin Bacon plays a truly despicable villain this time around. I love watching Bacon play the villain roles. Yes this was similar to his role in Axel F. But at the same time, it was much crazier!!! Parts of this reminded me of The Mask coughs the good one!!! You know the famous Jim Carrey movie!!!

I apologize for anyone that might've realized a twist I spoiled indirectly. I also loved how Toxie quickly winning the people over. This one guy so happened to be at several locations he once saved. He was among a few people in a restaurant. When a group of gunmen held hostages in there. This was heavily shown in most of the trailers.

In terms of what Toxie stands it's done just right. Yes you can expect some wow they allowed that. Obviously for unrated versions of movies. There's nothing preventing stuff not allowed compared to heavy censoring within rated versions. I highly respect the director went the edgier, unrated route. This further allowed him to make this more faithful to the source material.

Troma isn't for everyone either. They made such mess up possibly disgusting low budget movies. Toxie was the perfect mascot for their brand. I also loved Toxie deeply cares for his son. It's quite touching at times I welcome these scenes in the movie. I won't spoil the ending but there's some possible unfinished business.

Which may or may not tie into a possible follow up movie. Not only that, I do think this director would love to make another Toxie movie. I'm fully on board if it happens. This is exactly how to bring it back!!! Considering all the major obstacles this film had. It's truly amazing this movie does not suck!!! So many films aren't so lucky yes I'm looking at you The Crow (2024 version)!!!

I felt the overall direction just works perfectly. Toxie is a truly believable character this time around. You can tell the people deeply appreciate what he's doing for them. The world changed with one person's mutation. Sure you could say Toxie ripped off Marvel's Hulk with that. He does plenty of things differently to not be an actual rip off of the character either.

For starters, Toxie is more likely going to hear you out on things. If you're a bad guy let's just say. You'll be lucky you don't get killed. This felt like a newer version of such an franchise. Yet done in a way that's very refreshing. A brand new take on the concept. I would say easily my new current favorite Toxie movie.

Yes more so than The Toxic Avenger Part II honestly. This felt like proper fan service!!! We waited so long for another Toxie movie. This really made such a long wait felt worth it!!! I am very impressed how incredibly well this Toxie movie was done. For those willing to give it a chance. I could recommend this to those people I personally loved it!!!

My thoughts on Blood: Refreshed Supply

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I remembered once going over an friend's house. Among the first DOS games he's shown me was Blood. I previously talked a good deal about this game in the past. Later this year is another remastered version. I actually got a lot to say about this.

The announcement trailer alone was done amazingly well. Then again Nightdive usually does great trailers for their remastered games. I can tell just by the game play it's going to be better quality. I never seen Blood play this great before!!! Not only we're getting all the episodes including both expansions.

They also adding in two mod campaigns. Both broken up into a few episodes. Essentially each episode being their own related campaigns. I may never confirmed that before it just kept slipping my mind. Marrow with Episode 2 currently in development.

Death Wish with three episodes with a fourth on the way. By default we're getting twelve campaigns worth of madness!!! I'm actually happy these mod campaigns gotten in. They also including mod support like some of their newer remasters. What blew my mind is this newer version coming to consoles.

Blood never been on consoles before. The same also could be said for Heretic. Which finally happened through Heretic + Hexen. Such an amazing remaster that was. Blood is like Duke 3D but more horror movie inspired fantasy direction. Imagine Doom but somehow darker that's Blood in a nut shell.

I always was a huge fan of the soundtrack. I know one of these mod campaigns has their own soundtracks as well. This being redone on a newer version of KEX Engine. The same version for their newer remastered games. I can't wait to play co-op in this version of Blood soon.

This should be set up similar to some of those. Honestly, this had more going for it than Gears of War: Reloaded. There's several major differences right off the bat. Also people been demanding for it to get on consoles. Let's be honest, it was truly mind blow it took this long to make that happen.

Blood was a truly amazing FPS game. You had such rememberable animations. Such a good lineup of enemies you're facing. Plenty of great weapons to use during game play. A lot of great levels you wanna keep on replaying. To me, Blood was the greatest FPS game on Build engine.

I know some would've said Duke Nukem 3D. Sure that's among the best of them without question. Personally I prefer Blood's expansions more. Somehow I liked Caleb more than Duke Nukem. Blood is easily among my favorite Doom clones. It does enough to differ itself from that series.

I would love to get this newer version of Blood this year. I would drop everything gaming wise to play it. This also may renew interest for Blood 2: The Chosen to get the same treatment. More directly games like this needed to come back. Blood is a game I'm surprise not many people played.

This game going to explode harder than ever before this year. Nightdive renewing interest for many classics to begin with. I didn't think Blood would get a second remastered version. Supposedly it had something to do with Atari. Regardless, I'm thankful they're giving Blood another shot.

This version going to truly pack in the content. I wanna see the additional content you can look up. It might not be as interesting as Killing Time: Resurrected. In that department, it still be worth taking a look. I do think the world finally ready for this!!!

They are truly going the distance with Blood this time. If this is like how Doom 1 & 2 kept getting better, newer versions. This should follow suit as well. Blood quickly become a favorite to a lot of people following this release. If I can't get the game this year.

I'll still try to get more people interested in giving the game a try. At least that's also directly supporting Nightdive's efforts. I do see a huge point to revisit Blood once again. It was originally among their first remasters. Before a lot of cool stuff since then gotten added in other remastered games.

I strongly felt Blood deserves the same treatment as those. It's a great FPS game that's been under the radar for far too long!!! Blood about to change the world!!! Just looking at some of their remasters. I guess I should've seen this coming. I personally wanna thank Nightdive for doing Blood again.

It truly meant a lot to me. I'm already happy with some of their remasters. If I had to confirm my top favorites from what I played. Quake II, Killing Time: Resurrected, Doom + Doom II and Heretic + Hexen respectively. All of those were truly fantastic remastered versions.

Now knowing this version of Blood going to be similar to those. My hype for this newer version of Blood went through the roof!!! They are going to make this a version no one ever going to forget in a good way. Blood is truly the stuff of legends for those that never played it before.

My thoughts on Golden Joystick Awards 2025 (Most Wanted Game award)

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I was on a friend's discord server. I'm one of the moderators on the server. He mentions Golden Joystick Awards 2025. I decided to take a look at that while voting. Honestly I don't have much to say about majority of the nominations for the awards.

There is one particular award that caught my attention. I been noticing more big game award shows do this award recently. They give out an award for the most wanted game. We are talking heavily hyped up games not even out yet. They sure nominated a lot of games for this one award!!!

First I'll reveal all the nominees I didn't vote for. To clarify they allowed you to choose up to three games for this one award. A few awards also allowed this as well. Which made me happier because my actual choices speaks for themselves. Of course I'll explain in full detail why I'm so hyped for them.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam
Marvel's Wolverine (almost gotten chosen)
Exodus
Kingdom Hearts 4
Crimson Desert
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn
Light No Fire
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet
The Blood of Dawnwalker
SAROS
The Witcher 4
OD - KNOCK
Grand Theft Auto VI
Subnautica 2
Black Myth: Zhong Kui

Before I reveal my three choices. They also allowed you to rank em from 3 to 1. Honestly a lot of these games I never heard of before. An handful I previously knew about simply not interested. Onimusha: Way of the Sword was notably higher for consideration.

Marvel's Wolverine was a game I recalled gotten announced a couple years ago. The same team as Marvel's Spider-Man series. As in the popular Spider-Man games that's on a few platforms right now. They're considered Marvel's answer to DC's Batman: Arkham series.

I quickly knew after checking every nominees. Two of them I instantly chosen on the spot. Marvel's Wolverine just loss out to the first of three games I'll quickly discuss here. Eventually I would love to play all three of these games I selected. Let's say my selection a bit more strangely interesting.

007 First Level

I previously heard the Hitman team going to make an actual James Bond game. I don't recall the last time I truly was hype for an Bond game. I grew up playing a lot of GoldenEye on Nintendo 64 myself. I did play a couple Bond games over the years.

I do have some exposure to Hitman series. I actually own the entire original Hitman series on GOG. I did play parts of the most recent entry. Which is three Hitman games combined into one amazing stealth action game. Right away this was a rather interesting decision.

Hitman series is widely known for playing an hitman to assassinate people. It doesn't even matter how well guard you think you are. This guy is so good, you'll be dead before you know it. He would be the John Wick of video games before Wick even existed.

Agent 47 also is an expert in putting on disguises as well as manipulating people. In fact, I felt this might've been the perfect team to take on the license. Hitman games are surprisingly creative in how you could complete some objectives. There's a bit of realism in things that makes you feel like you're actually him.

Yes my standards for an Bond game is quite high because of GoldenEye. I do believe this team could potentially rival such a classic. I do respect they are making this version of Bond their own. A lot of Bond games plays heavily on well playing it safe.

Considering it's a third person shooter. Right now it's directly competing with Everything or Nothing. I had that along with From Russia with Love as in the video game. I did see how well Bond could work in third person shooter style. Bond isn't that different from Agent 47 either.

I wouldn't say they're the same character. They just done a lot of similar stuff in many situations. I wouldn't be surprised they directly reference Hitman series. Just going by the game play trailer it's going to be amazing!!! Let's hope the team gets allowed to go the full distance with their Bond concept.

Especially considering how well Hitman: World of Assassination done. They even put Le Chiffre from Casino Royale in a mission that game. I do think they are going to go even bigger with this!!! Why the hell wouldn't you want to? It's the legendary MI6 agent, James Bond!!!

Assuming they do these limited time missions. You would be surprise some of the celebrities they gotten for these!!! Such legends as Gary Busey, Sean Bean and Jean-Claude van Damme!!! They even done a parody Christmas mission you assassinate the Wet Bandits from Home Alone series.

They possibly could do this with Bond as well. James Bond being such an iconic franchise. I wouldn't even be surprise more legendary celebrities gets involved. There's so much potential for this to possibly be. Easily among the greatest Bond games ever!!!

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

I know I previously discussed this Lego Batman game. Thankfully I got a bit more stuff to add. They confirmed they are recreating iconic moments from within the entire Batman franchise. We're talking comics, movies, shows and games respectively.

This is meant to be a huge love letter to Batman fans. I know some are worried they limited the roster down a lot. At the same time, they might've put more depth in. Which means each character will be capable doing much more. Let's be honest, we already know a lot of DLCs on the way.

The fact they are going this ambitious of a licensed Batman game concept. This means nearly everything Batman possibly on the table. This by itself gotten me quite hype for the game. Not only that, Lego games I played takes a couple hours to finish.

Adding in DLC levels going to truly spice things up. I'm not even sure how the story would go? There's also the possibility of we just get levels pulled from the multiverse. Which would be a major head ache of a concept to pull off. This also would mean there isn't a major story line either.

I know assumption of the story or lack of is a bit interesting of a discussion. Warner Brothers isn't doing well right now. They must've been this desperate to save themselves. By allowing another Lego Batman game to happen. A rather creative one at that.

I did see some of the actual game play. They heavily inspired by Batman: Arkham series. I'm glad they kept it an open world action adventure game. This by itself going to pack in hours worth of game play. This almost felt like a major anniversary for the franchise.

I believe this could potentially if it's a huge success. Pack in enough content to be equal to all the previous Lego DC games. Mostly Lego Batman trilogy combined. Sure this may limit what they could and can't do. I do think they are going even bigger than ever before.

This could have more content prior to DLCs than Batman: Arkham Knight with every DLC!!! Which is kinda ridiculous to imagine. At the same time, I do want them going the full distance with this. We're probably getting more alternative versions of characters as well.

If you played any of the Lego Marvel games. We are talking that to a more ridiculous degree. This even could go bigger than Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 in scale. Assuming like some of the Lego DC games. You get multiple hubs you could explore.

This easily could have more content without DLCs than Batman: Arkham Knight. Which gotten a lot of DLCs for an Batman game. I always been a huge Batman fan for a long time. Fan service should be really through the roof!!! More than enough Batman to keep you busy for a long time

Plus they go even further with that concept. This should be the Lego DC's equal to that. Just think there wasn't many decent Batman games during my childhood. Now some of the best Batman games possibly get referenced. For example they could make a joke towards Telltale's Batman series.

These Batman games lets you choose the direction of the stories. This really would open this Lego Batman game for some great jokes. Just curious how much Batman multiverse we're actually getting here. I really felt this should be the best license Lego game in years or at least among the best of them for sure.

Resident Evil Requiem

Obviously no surprise I had to go with Resident Evil Requiem. I always been so impressed by the series. Even as mixed Resident Evil 6 was, it technically wasn't a bad RE game. Just when we thought we're done with Raccoon City. Damn a new mystery from it's remains shows up.

You actually play as a daughter of an character from Resident Evil Outbreak series. Which is canon to the main RE timeline. The team wanted to go into a different scary direction. This FBI agent will notably display fear to a degree. This could make it among the most realistic RE games ever made.

Realism is a rather funny topic for this franchise though. The graphics are truly outstanding like always. I'm glad we're playing as a new character. A lot of older RE characters kept showing up. No guarantee if any of them shows up again. I just meant to play as someone fully new for once.

It's a huge breath of fresh air. This is coming out early next year. We may discover stuff we wouldn't even knew existed at all. This also could directly tie in to things we didn't expect either. Assumption is a rather fun topic for this particular RE game. It's so unexpected to go back to a city already wiped from the world.

For those that haven't played either Resident Evil 2 or 3: Nemesis. The US Government ordered an nuclear missile to wipe out Raccoon City. I know such an extreme action to do. Now I am thinking what's left of Terragrigia a possibility too? Which gotten melted by a satellite like a giant magnifying glass.

We haven't seen much of the enemies either. The assumption usually a new virus outbreak occurred. Of course, things quickly gets ugly possibly nightmare fuel. I do think if it's a major hit. There's a huge chance it could win a few Game of the Year awards.

Resident Evil Requiem is going to break new ground. Usually when this franchise does that. A major change about to happen for the entire genre as a whole. I am curious to see how this RE game going to play out. I felt they could do a lot with this concept they're going for.

I'm very glad they aren't ripping off Silent Hill. Shadows of Rose in Resident Evil Village came strikingly close to that. I do agree Resident Evil needed a different direction to go in. Honestly they always knock these game out the park. I do believe terror about to get much deeper than it ever had before.

Covering Six more Killer Clown movies

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, I finally done a follow up killer clown movie marathon. Again through Tubi just in time for Halloween. I originally planned to do this marathon earlier in the year. I changed the theme to killer scarecrow movies. I also originally planned to cover eight more killer clown movies.

I decided two of them I'll watch at a later date. Don't worry you're still getting majority of them. I watched for the most part right after each other. Yes I had a lot of ads played during all these horror movies.

Here's a link to the previous covering killer clown movies blog down below...

Some guide lines I had while doing my recent killer clown movie marathon on Tubi as they follow down below...

1. Every killer clown movie must be labeled in category wise as horror

2. The titles must have either the word clown or alternation takes of it

The Clown at Midnight (1999)

The oldest killer clown movie in the lineup. The movie centers on a group of high school students to help restore an old opera house. There's a few decent kills in the movie. I actually felt this was among the better written in this lineup as well. I could consider rewatching it soon honestly.

Fear of Clowns (2004)

I was more familiar with the killer clown character of the movie. Before I finally sat down to watch this. This was an alright killer clown movie. A few decent kills with cutting a cop's head off being my favorite. The movie tries a little too hard to be creepy.

Camp Blood: Clown Shark (2024)

Usually I try to leave out any franchises doing these killer clown marathons. I just had to check out this bizarre entry. It's a killer clown shark movie to a degree. We are talking very cheesy special effects. The movie doesn't make any sense. I seen slightly better shark movies including 5 Headed Shark Attack!!!

Ouija Clown (2023)

I'm not a fan of lost footage movies. Not only that, get used to two girls. Literately the entire movie nearly nonstop. Even the killer ghost clown wasn't that scary. This has to be one of the stupidest killer clown movies I ever seen!!! It has a few things over Tickles the Clown though.

Gingerclown (2013)

I had to check this one out. You have such talented actors as Tim Curry & Brad Dourif. The movie centers on a nerdy guy gets pressured going into an abandoned amusement park. Of course, it's not your typical amusement park either. I will give them credit for Biff's death reveal I loved that!!!

Vampire Clown (2025)

Surprisingly the most recent was actually the best of them. I even felt this belongs in my main killer clown movies lineup. A guy discovers vampires are targeting people around town. One of the vampires so happens to be a clown. Somehow they made this work better than expected.

Conclusion

I would recommend watching The Clown at Midnight, Gingerclown and Vampire Clown respectively. Camp Blood: Clown Shark was a bit more unexpected than Ouija Clown. It may been such a weird concept. I found some stuff a bit more interesting.

Who wanna watch a movie with two girls screaming often? I'll be brutal honest I couldn't even tell if one of them were an teen or not either. Barely anything major happens in that movie. Even I was feeling bored shortly after the clown started to show up.

I am not kidding it was almost as boring as Tickles the Clown to me. There's barely any deaths in the movie either. Considering it's a lost footage movie. You may get sick a bit by all the crazy cam movements. Honestly, a huge waste of time altogether.

This concept could've been done way better. Even Clown Shark with the very cheesy special effects was more entertaining. Now that's just sad when a shark ends up being more fun to watch than a ghost. We will see if I do another killer clown movie marathon or not.

Gingerclown heavily plays off suspense with some mess up moments. The Clown at Midnight has a few surprises you won't see coming. Vampire Clown easily could've failed hard. I was surprised how well they pulled off the concept. A major spoiler, the head vampire was revealed to be the clown.

I will confess I had a hard time liking Vampire Clown's appearance. Near the end of the movie it finally clipped with me. He looks way better than the killer clown in Camp Blood: Clown Shark. Especially the very cheesy CGI special effects shark version.

Fear of Clowns has some inconsistent acting to a degree. The killer clown himself does work amazingly well. I just wish the actual story was a bit more interesting. But I didn't expect it takes place in my home state!!! Yeah an killer clown movie in Maryland is something I never expected.

It was fun once again to randomly select horror movies. Just like going to a Blockbuster or Hollywood Videos to rent movies experience. Some easily gravitated to a kid in an candy store. I may started getting into Halloween a bit too early lol.

Cultic: Interlude and Chapter 2 review

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, it's not often I do an updated review on something. I strongly felt it was necessary for the classic, Cultic. I didn't realize I didn't cover Interlude yet. I recently gotten Chapter 2 myself. I figured why not cover both of them together.

Here's a link to my review on Cultic prior to these newer levels down below...
https://jackred1989.blogspot.com/2022/11/cultic-review.html

Cultic: Interlude (2023)
Before I talk about it I simply love the concept behind it. Many similar style FPS games don't make in between levels. In particular levels that act as a direct means to connect campaigns together. So when I saw this last year I was surprised. Officially it's one huge level packed with stuff.

I don't recommend skipping the first campaign to play this. There's so many enemies with a lot going on. I also recommend try going slow for the most part. You easily can get ambush in this level at many locations. I'm glad this level exists it helped people to wait to play Chapter 2.

I know some felt this one bridging the gap level was a little too big. Honestly it was a clear idea how much more ambitious Chapter 2 going to be. Thankfully you get this level free through an update. After awhile you'll figure stuff out with some taking a little longer than expected.

Honestly, Interlude was a great but risky idea. This easily could've went south. I should mention at the end of the level. This isn't a short level by any means either. There is a boss fight that may challenge you. I loved how everything came together the way it does.

Cultic: Chapter 2 (2024)
I know some people who are familiar with my Cultic review. Probably rather know my thoughts on Chapter 2 right? I waited since 2022 to play this. I knew as soon as I started. This was going to be a vastly different ball game from the first campaign. I was proud to buy this newer campaign.

Everything was a massive step up in comparison. I'm not trying to say the first campaign sucks by any means. If you haven't played Cultic at all. You're really missing out on a truly fantastic FPS game!!! I loved just like the first campaign. We get a good variety of locations to explore.

Some could view this as being heavily inspired by Blood the classic DOS FPS game. This newer campaign felt like a modernize Blood experience. The animations including the newer enemies were amazing. Chapter 2 plays notably more into horror.

I really gotta mention I thought some of the levels in the first campaign were big. Nah these levels were quite massive!!! It's so easily to get lost or confuse what to do. I did like some of the surprises. Like tie in another game the developer has on Steam called The Bonerooms.

Keep in mind, one guy made all of this!!! The soundtrack to Chapter 2 is absolutely amazing!!! This quickly justifies it's price making it a sell when discounted. I actually watched a few YouTubers stream this. This is already among my favorite FPS games ever!!!

Of course, there's a couple boss fights through out the campaign. Easily out doing Episode 5 of Duke Nukem 3D in the newest version. If I was mind blown by the first campaign. I probably no longer have a head at this point. This newer campaign was among my favorite 2025 runs of the year.

I'm even considering making an exception for an December blog entry for this. Chapter 2 is a true master piece. You may die a lot on the way. You often get overwhelmed by the enemies. Especially in very difficult to see spots. This was such an refreshing FPS experience.

Chapter 2 truly delivers in what it sent out to do. You're getting a couple hours long campaign. Some truly amazing artwork through out the levels. None of the levels felt like stuff we done before. The boss fights for the most part stands out.

This is exactly why I love Cultic so much!!! The solo developer put out some truly impressive work here. I started writing this prior to Blood: Refreshed Supply announcement too. All of a sudden, Cultic picked a great year to fully come back.

You also gotta get use to facing several different enemies at once. Majority of them fires weapons at you. But you got an handful that has a few ways to attack you. Other enemies forces themselves at you with such little time to react.

There's times you get a good mix of most enemy types. I also gotta say Train Station level I was mind blown by it. I won't fully spoil why but this is how you make an FPS level for sure. You also could upgrade your weapons to help a bit.

I also gotta say the final boss was the toughest by far. I just love how it starts out. The cult leader speaking before he turns around. Suddenly gets shot in the head to become the final boss. It's best to think of him as this game's Shao Kahn.

Just more about blood than souls in that regard. I will say a huge step up from the first campaign's final boss. This was a rather challenging campaign. But it also was so satisfying to finish after everything. Honestly Cultic: Chapter 2 was worthy for an award in my December blog.

I will confirm I don't wanna hear you're giving something to Cultic. Don't worry it may not be within the lineup of Games I played this year. At the same time, this newer campaign was worthy of such an lineup to get such an honor.

This campaign was worth every penny I spent. I would've paid double that price honestly. Not to give the developer any ideas lol. For it's price we're getting this campaign. Along with an handful of levels for another mode was a great idea.

Futurama review (1999-present)

Hello everyone I'm XboxClown89, Family Guy started up a weird trend among animated sitcom shows. An handful of them gotten canceled a few times. Somehow they kept coming back with newer seasons. I will be reviewing one of my favorites among those shows.

Futurama
Original run (1999-2003)
Second run (2008-2013)
Current run (2023-present)

Before I even begin discussing the show. I gotta mention the confusing seasons set up. The first five seasons were fine. Seasons 6 and 7 started throwing an huge monkey wrench. These seasons were aired in two sets. Which ended up happening for Disenchantment on Netflix funny enough.

Another animated sitcom show by Matt Groening. This led to which do you consider for how many seasons Futurama has? Let me explain do we go by how many seasons aired on television or do we go by how many actual seasons it has? If we went by how many seasons aired on TV, it's technically thirteen seasons.

But officially it recently had Season 10 on Hulu. All because two particular seasons aired in halves. Both Seasons 8 and 9 aired episodes like normal. Despite being streamed on Hulu and Disney+ on a few bundle deals. Season 10 flat out dropped the entire season in one shot.

Actual review section
Futurama is a spiritual successor to The Simpsons. They crossed over a few times including an full crossover episode on The Simpsons. Since then, it confirmed along with Disenchantment takes place in the same shared universe. Which is ambitious by itself.

The show centers on an space delivery company. They often find themselves in many rather unique situations. It reminds me of The Flash (CW show) in that regard. I would be lying to say this show been consistent it haven't. I would say most of the seasons are great though.

We had a former pizza delivery boy frozen in an machine for an thousand years. Literately just the first episode no less. He has a best friend, an robot named Bender. Bender always been my favorite Futurama character. You could view this as the modern take of The Jetsons.

Considering both had an famous red haired man among the most cast. Not to mention, an famous robot character that's close to them. Both shows are an unique perceptive about the future. I would say that's right on the money. Some of the logic really goes over your heads.

I am still feeling that with the most recent season finale episode. To a degree I actually consider an funnier show than The Simpsons. The Simpsons is filled with creativity in it's own right. But Futurama truly embodies the concept. You just never know what you're getting with the show.

This is exactly why I dislike Season 5 the most. The show works best when each episode within an season presents different situations. This particular season was virtually four movies. Two versions the original movie versions or the later broken into four episodes each versions?

Basically four major storylines across an entire season. This also led to two additional seasons. Thankfully Seasons 6 and 7 was like most of them. Maybe I prefer having more of a variety within the story telling. Futurama works best with that set up in mind.

Futurama always been a somewhat witty comedy show. Similar to The Big Bang Theory in that regard. At the same time, always been way more ambitious with it's concepts. In a lot of ways Futurama made the future rather exciting. But in other ways, I really hope some of those doesn't end up happening.

You know people get so into these futuristic concepts. They become desperate to make em an reality. Futurama always had such deep lore in things. Some of the more recent ones caught me very off guard. I do enjoy the What If machine episodes.

Virtually Futurama's answer to The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror episodes. Some of the characters asks questions. This AI recreates exactly what would happen. I wasn't crazy for episodes that just change things though. I will give credit to a particular season finale episode.

Meanwhile is not only one of the finest Futurama episodes. But also one of the greatest animated sitcom season finales I ever seen!!! This particular episode was a huge surprise among it's entire second run. It was a surprisingly decent well written episode.

At the same time, they left the door open for possible newer seasons. For anyone that haven't seen this Futurama episode wow is all I gotta say to you. I actually felt Futurama may actually be the greatest thing Matt Groening ever created!!! Even as a huge Simpsons fan, I can't argue ways Futurama is better in.

The Simpsons may shown you the world. But Futurama went bigger than that by showing off the universe and beyond. The main characters are so rememberable as well. An handful of times, they dive into the multiverse. Thankfully this was before more franchises started doing a lot of related shows. To the point, they aren't doing well right now.

You get to learn a lot about everything. None of that ever comes off being boring either. Sometimes it's surprisingly funny at times. They also done several variations of concepts that effects time. Some of the main cast are ridiculously older than you would possibly imagine. Time is among the weirder topics of the show.

Of course, we can't forget such moments as Fry indirectly gotten his grandfather killed in the past. Then he slept with his grandma effectively becoming his own grandfather yes I'm not making this up. You could argue this is a more serious show than The Simpsons. But a couple episodes simply comes off being funnier in comparison.

Stuff like that is purely up to debate honestly. There's some rather impressive animation as well. The intro barely changes much with a classic theme song. You can tell they took some stuff from The Simpsons. Then they went the full distance with them. I been really wanting to review this show for a long time

I gotta talk about Bender, he often steals the show. I will attempt my best possible explanation of Bender's character. Imagine a much lesser human and more selfish Homer Simpson. Bender is an robot originally designed to bend things a huge surprise right? His full name is among the longest in history of anything Matt Groening ever created I'm very serious!!!

What I love so much about the character is in many situations. A lot of us easily could've done stuff he's done to a degree. I'm not implying we're all secretly bad people either. I just meant he comes off as that negative voice in our heads. Bender virtually does whatever he wants. For the most part without a single care in his systems.

He also ends up being one of the more interesting members of the crew. People remembered the times Homer used to say D'oh on a daily basis. For Bender, "Bite my shiny metal ass!!!" Wow such an catchphrase for an animated Sitcom character. He ends up being the most neutral character of the show. At times puts him at odds with the crew.

Like Homer, he drinks liquor to a degree. A major difference is robots must drink it or they get rusty. Which actually was showcased in a particular episode. Suddenly an character that drinks any form of liquor like this being more dangerous. There was some fans worried for the third run of the show. When his original voice actor wasn't confirmed to come back at the time.

They ended up bending to the fans to get his original voice actor back on the show see what I did there? Fry always reminded me of Bart that's more kind hearted and a bit more brave. Also because he often wears a red coat while having spiky hair. Leela is virtually this show's answer to Lisa. But a way more awesome female character in comparison.

A lot of the crew reminds me of several classic Simpsons characters. I love they just go for such out there ideas. I felt two of the three runs were quite funny. The current, third run felt like the original run of the show. It's safe to say this out doing Beavis & Butt-Head respectively. Futurama always been ahead of it's time lol you knew that was coming.

This show felt like the perfect showcase to the future. I know such an statement could easily spark controversiality. In my defense, Futurama really reinvented the wheel on that. Futurama quickly differ itself from The Simpsons. Futurama always been possibly the craziest of Groening's animated trinity. I know eventually Disenchantment will get it's own review.

Futurama is heavily centered around an futuristic New York City. They called it New New York they do explain it in an episode. I always welcome they go to other planets on the show. Every time a new planet shows up. You instantly know what we knew about to change fast. This is exactly why I always praised Futurama for a long time.

Even during it's original run this show had such a major impact on people including myself. Right now I really can't compare anything to this!!! Futurama is possibly one of the most unique shows I ever gotten into. I can't wait for Season 14 in the near future. I felt Futurama has potential for some truly amazing stories left in it.
