Halloween Deathmatch - Live Action! (2026)
The video opens up to a small group of people. At first makes you think Jigsaw going to show up on the television. Instead it was The Joker played by Aaron Schoenke. Joker wants to do a crazy kill count game. He unleashed two horror icons in Arkham Asylum to hunt the group down. Before we go any further I really was loving the concept so far.
The two killers stalking them turned out to be Halloween's Michael Myers and CryptTV's The Look-See respectively. Yes one of them does win the game. The camera man might offend some people out there. It's a small guy dressed up as Robin. Majority of the kills are brutal I just find Myers more satisfying to watch.
Joker set some traps that did leave to bad things. The actual video length works amazingly well for this. The first to go was a security guard. Obviously when he fell, the group quickly fell apart. Who knows if Joker planned that or it just happened? It's a crazy game of cat and mouse. There's a twist that literately came out of no where.
Secretly among the group was Predator. Yes the famous alien hunter was actually stalking around invisible. Myers died when he gets upset The Look-See stolen his kill. Some might argue because both done notable harm to the last victim. They both could've tied to win the game. But I doubt Joker would've allowed that though.
What really threw me off is there's another section with Scooby Doo's Daphne and Velma. This time Velma's computer has Jigsaw popped up. They had to face three slasher villains together. Myers gets another go with the other two you may expected. Art the Clown and Ghostface showed up respectively. Velma was kicking ass against them while Daphne does nothing.
Of course, Daphne does eventually help save Velma. The last few minutes felt like it's own video. They clearly threw it in because they weren't done with the holiday. I would've preferred that would've been it's own video. The sudden change of plot with characters might cause confusion it sure did for me. But it still was a surprisingly awesome section of the video.
How does all this madness ends? Well the two ladies gets it on I'm serious!!! Jigsaw even wanted to watch that lol. I did prefer Joker being the host it just works better overall. I'm also glad Velma show versions weren't used either. I think the joke is they made these ladies into hunters. Although, they were discussing cases before three slashers came at them.
I would say most of the video works well. I did like they didn't waste time when it's not necessary. Like milking suspense that quickly takes away from a great kill scene. I can't say this felt like a horror movie but the plot itself is used a lot within the genre. This felt more like something Joker could've done if Batman wasn't involve or prevented the Dark Knight from rescuing the group.
I actually would be interested if they revisit the concept in the near future. Maybe go even crazier than last time I'll watch that!!! Also Myers was done better than Halloween Ends!!! You can tell they put a lot of time into this Halloween video. Even the little things you might notice kinda start sticking with you.
Honestly, it was a rather entertaining video even if it doesn't get a follow up. The first group is more what you would expect of most Silent Hill protagonists. They are just normal people for the most part that had troubled pasts. The last duo was more like Resident Evil protagonists. They had experience that was too prepared for anything.
I also wanted to say a week before Halloween with my possible current plans was a nice surprise. The first group was in a crazy escape location game. The last duo was about to get ambushed. Jigsaw usually really looks into people. I doubt he would've just attempt capturing them. Despite the actual intention in the video is to kill the ladies.
It is very possible a lot of multiplayer horror games with a similar concept could've inspired the video. This might've been an idea a small group of people quickly got ideas to make into what we have here. Who really knows what led to this video's creation? What we do know is Halloween Deathmatch is a decent Halloween video that was both clever as well as creative.
