Top 10 Treehouse of Horror Episodes

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I figured to make it official at last. It's about time I make a definite Treehouse of Horror list. Yes this list has it's fair share of challenges. At the same time as a long time Simpsons fan. It is my duty to make such a list.

I love these so much that shortly after Treehouse of Horror XXV was aired. I sit down to watch all twenty four episodes in twelve hours almost the entire time. Even with the best among Sideshow Bob episodes I couldn't enjoy it as close as much as this.

10. Treehouse of Horror XVI (2005)

This by many was considered to be one of the last good Treehouse of Horror episodes. Some of the finest parodies in the show's history. Especially Survival of the Fattest being one of my favorite stories.

9. Treehouse of Horror XII (2001)

For a long while this was the last good episode within Treehouse of Horror episodes. Some of my favorite parodies are present here. Some amazing animation skills went into each story. Some of the funniest moments are also present here. It was so good to be included on the official Treehouse of Horror DVD.

8. Treehouse of Horror IX (1998)

One of the craziest Treehouse of Horror episodes ever made. A dead man's hair controlling Homer into killing people. The Simpsons kids trapped inside TV while being stalked by Itchy & Scratchy. A alien baby gets stuck in the middle of two angry fathers. How could they not be on my list lol.

7. Treehouse of House VIII (1997)

This is exactly what I expect for an Halloween special. Three of their craziest stories ever told. I really enjoy rewatching this Treehouse of Horror episode a lot. Easily one of the finest that everyone needs to watch.

6. Treehouse of Horror I (1990)

Of course the original Treehouse of Horror that started it all had to be on this list. Although most episodes don't take place in the Simpsons' treehouse. This episode started something that is in essence what Halloween truly is.

5. Treehouse of Horror II (1991)

I love each story told in this episode occurs in nightmares. There is just something about nightmares that truly brings out the fear in people. This is exactly why I really enjoy watching Treehouse of Horror II. A worthy successor with some of my favorite stories.

4. Treehouse of Horror III (1992)

All three of these stories easily could've been called short films & achieve the same affect. Easily some of their finest parodies. This not only showed the team's creativity but also welcome new ideas. Clown Without Pity stands as one of Krusty's greatest performances.

3. Treehouse of Horror IV (1993)

OMG do I dare say this is easily one of my absolute favorite Simpsons episodes. You have Homer going to Hell. Bart getting paranoid over a creature ripping a part the school bus. A great parody of Dracula that could actually be the greatest ever done. All three of these stories are really good.

2. Treehouse of Horror VI (1995)

WOW this is absolutely amazing in every sense of the word. They actually attempted a new advance computer animation just for the final story. I really enjoy their parody of A Nightmare on Elm Street. I really can't get enough of those billboards coming to life terrorizing Springfield. This is really damn good for it's time.

1. Treehouse of Horror V (1994)

You all knew this had to be number 1. Treehouse of Horror V has three of their greatest holiday stories. Even to this day The Shinning is still their most popular Treehouse of Horror story. This is not just entertaining from start to finish. This might be the only Treehouse of Horror episode you can watch all day & still feel great about it.

Outside the Main Resident Evil Time Line Events

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, now it's time for all the main events that aren't a part of the main Resident Evil canon. Basically all of them do take place during all the major events but they weren't as important. It is kinda like how Konami treats Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

1. A forgotten event in 1998

Taking place in Sheeva Island after the destruction of Raccoon City. Ark Thompson a friend of Leon loses his memory. Shortly after waking up believes he is Vincent Goldman who was commander of a few Umbrella facilities. It turns out he wasn't Vincent Goldman after all. He was determine to destroy Umbrella facilities. This led to a few confrontations with the Hypno Tyrant. In the aftermath, Ark Thompson escapes the city.

2. A crazy boat ride

A few years later in 2002, a scientist named Morpheus became obsessed with T-G Virus. Bruce McGivern a member of the U.S. Stratcom goes on a ship to investigate. Not only he discovers Morpheus was behind everything. He also found out about Umbrella as well. This led to killing Morpheus. He also runs into Fong Ling who works for the Chinese MSS.

3. Umbrella Corps

In 2015, secretly several soldiers are fighting for BOWS. I wish I could add more to this but that's it.

The Entire Resident Evil Time Line by Jack Red

Updated with information on canon dlcs of Resident Evil VII.

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I already know Capcom did this officially but I still wanted to do it. A lot of fans including myself are strict about how exactly to go about such a crazy time line. Thankfully this is far from some of the most confusing game series. Today I am here to cover the entire Resident Evil time line. I won't be covering the movies since those are mostly straight forward & not faithful to it's source material. I will include things from some spin off games in this blog.

Of course I will start with the main time line. This will take some research for those relatively new or those confuse about the order of events. Also I will say only the most important key parts of each game's story. Otherwise we will be here all day or possibly up to three.

Caution this will be a lengthy blog. Please take as many breaks you will need as you continue reading. I hope in me shorting it down does help things a little bit.

I haven't played any of REVII's dlcs yet. As soon as I do, I will edit them into this blog. Also I will do a quick follow up on remaining parts of the game time line.

Main Series Time Line


1. One day prior to Resident Evil

S.T.A.R.S. Bravo was tasked with investigation the Arklay Forest. Rebecca Chambers is the newest recruit that ends up teaming up with Billy Coen. A man sentenced to death that was being transported. It turns out Dr. Marcus got revived inside his Queen Leech while developing the T-Virus. Billy gets a free pass to live his life. Rebecca goes to the Spencer Mansion shortly afterwards.

2. Resident Evil the true horror begins

No word from S.T.A.R.S. Bravo caused S.T.A.R.S. Alpha to find the other team while investigating. A handful of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha got inside the Spencer Mansion. The deeper Chris & Jill went, the more they realized Umbrella was behind everything. It turns out their captain Wesker wanted to clear his tracks of both Umbrella & S.T.A.R.S. for good. In the end only five members of S.T.A.R.S. with Rebecca being the solo survivor of Bravo escaped.

3. A few months later the event that shocked the world
One point of view was Jill a former member of S.T.A.R.S. had to survive a city wide crisis. This was made worse when a unique Tyrant called Nemesis tracking any remaining S.T.A.R.S. members. Thanks to a former Umbrella soldier Carlos Oliveria & her old friend Barry Burton. Jill just within a few seconds barely escaped the city before the nuke sent by the US government hit.

I should point out the first half of RE3 takes place before RE2. The remaining half of RE3 is after RE2.


Another point of view was a rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy & Chris's sister Claire had to survive. Both being stalked by a mutated Dr. Birkin & Tyrant-103 a successor to Tyrant-002. Leon got help from spy named Ada while Claire had Dr. Birkin's daughter Sherrie. This led to Ada almost dying to escape with a sample of the G-Virus. A similar scenario for Hunk aka Mr. Death to also escape with a G-Virus sample. Everybody found their own way of escaping the city prior to it's destruction.


A forgotten point of view was a group of survivors went through all kinds of Hell. Each person had a unique skill set that could've made them the ultimate team. Sadly in the end all eight of them died during the Raccoon City event.

4. A few months later in two main Umbrella locations

Late December of 1998, Claire Redfield got caught while intruding in Umbrella's French base of operations. She got transported to Rockford Island. A place under the command of Alfred Ashford a descendant of his grandfather Edward. One of three founding members of Umbrella. In secret Wesker was keeping a close on Claire. After what seem like a escape turned into a trap. Along with Steve Burnside explored some of Antarctica's base. Once again they almost got away when the real Alexia awoken. Her brother Chris arrived at Rockford Island. During his time there discovers Wesker is involved. Eventually Chris found a jet to get to Antarctica's base. Chris was able to take down Alexia Ashford. It was during their escape Chris decided to have a showdown with Wesker. Although it was short lived they both knew the day would come to settle the score for once & for all. Redfields escaped in the same jet.

5. A few years later in Brazil

In 2002, Javier the leader of a drug cartel the Scared Snakes contacted Wesker. This caused many girls close to his daughter's age to disappear. US government sent Leon & Jack Krauser to Brazil to investigate. Their guide got killed on their way. They found out almost everything going on. Manuela survived to be put under strict watch due to her body had T-Veronica Virus. Krauser supposedly died in a crash shortly afterward this event.

6. A year later in Russia

In 2003, Jill & Chris are now members of a B.O.W. unit. Their mission is to investigate Umbrella's Russia base of operations. If T.A.L.O.S. exists it must be destroyed at all costs. Deep inside this facility they found out this creature is very real leading to a intense battle.


Wesker arrived just before Jill & Chris to invade inside that base. Sergei sent two tyrants created from his DNA to take care of him. Around the time Chrils & Jill took on T.A.L.O.S., Wesker found Sergei. This time Sergei infects himself with the virus to become a mutated Tyrant creature. Wesker quickly take care of him & the super computer AI Red Queen. Not once his enemies close by even noticed Wesker was there. Shortly after this event Wesker sent the data he sent to the authorities with nothing connecting him. This led to the fall of Umbrella.

7. A year later in Europe

In 2004, Ashley the president's daughter gets kidnapped. She was given to a mysterious cult called Los Illuminados. US government sent in Leon to bring her back to the president. During this event Leon & Ashley became infected with a parasite called Las Plagas. Ramon Salazar got Ashley transported to where Lord Saddler is. Thanks to Ada Wong, Leon made it to the island. He finds out Krauser is not only alive but was the one to kidnap Ashley. This led to a confrontation between the two. Leon found a way to remove their parasites. This led to the confrontation between Leon & Saddler. Although Ada forced Leon to give her a sample of Las Plagas. She gave him her jet ski key to escape the island.


In Ada's story Luis was working with her to retrieve a master Las Plagas from Saddler. Shortly after Leon's fight with Krauser. Ada had no choice but take down Krauser. She prevented Saddler from following Leon & Ashley. Although Saddler was on the ground, one of his tentacles caught her by surprise. During Leon fighting Saddler, she gets a powerful rocket launcher to give to him. Shortly after this event she gave Wesker a fake sample. The real master Las Plagas sample went to their employers.

8. Two related events caused by the same terrorist group Veltro

In 2004 the first city capable of using just one energy source was created. However a terrorist group called Veltro launches a viral attack among it. This led to the US government using a satellite to melt the city.


A year later in 2005, the mysterious terrorist group returns. Jill & Parker are searching the ship Queen Zenobia. Meanwhile Chris & Jessica are searching for their friends. Quint & Keith are investigating close by where Chris & Jessica were. Everyone uncovers a great deal relating to Veltro. It turns out the terrorist group Veltro was FBC in disguise the entire time. The director of BSAA himself was involved in that event. Chris & Jill meet up to explore a related ship to Queen Zenobia. In this ship it was discovered a man named Jack Norman was being used by FBC. They were behind everything to keep FBC going by doing the absolute opposite to survive. In the aftermath, Morgan was arrested & BSAA director O'Brian steps down.

9. The Raccoon City survivors are back together

In 2005,a man named Curis Miller caused a viral outbreak at a airport. US government sent in soldiers & Leon since he had prior experience to BOWs. Claire with a few people became trapped inside that airport. Thanks to Leon, Claire survived. It turns out Curtis wanted revenge over WilPharma Corporation a rival of Umbrella's. Frederic Downing was behind everything going on. Claire set a trap to get Downing arrested. This led to WilPharma's bankruptcy that got bought by Tricell.

10. The end of Umbrella's last surviving founder
Chris & Jill's next assignment in 2006, a mysterious tip on the wherebouts of Oswell E. Spencer. Last surviving founder of Umbrella. It turns out Wesker was here to kill him. Not long after Spencer dies, Chris & Jill confronts Wesker. This led to Jill's disappearance for a few years.

11. A few years later in Africa

In 2009, Chris & Sheva Alomar to investigate Africa. They went after a man named Ricardo Irving. Who was in contact with a mysterious man. You find out this new virus is a mixture of several viruses & Las Plagas called Uroboros Virus. Jill is still alive under the control of Wesker. It turns out due to her antibodies, Wesker used her to create this virus. Chris & Sheva saved Jill before continuing their chase after Wesker. This led to a few confrontations with Wesker to put him down for good.


Just before the final confrontation between Chris & Wesker. Another member of BSAA named Josh ran into Jill. They were able to escape in time to help Chris & Sheva.

12. Back to Europe 2010-2011

In 2011, Leon was sent in to investigate about rumors of BOWs being used. After finding out there are BOWs, he went against orders to take care of the threat. It turns out US government wasn't focused on the right people. Leon runs into a small group of people fighting against the president of the Eastern Slav Republic. She was behind the viral outbreak in her own country. During the aftermath, she was forced to resigned.

13. Another important event during 2011

Claire with Moira Burton Barry's Daughter got kidnapped. They got sent to an island to be a part of a sick game. Claire & Moira works their way up to the Overseer. It turns out Neil betrayed Terrasave by handing many members over to Alex Wesker. Not too long Claire & Moira met up with her to only witness a suicide. Moira gets trapped while Claire escapes the island.


During the six month period, Natalia gets captured by Wesker. She attempted corrupting her inside a simulation. Unexplained Natalia escaped from Wesker.


During the six month period thought to be dead. Moira was living with a old man named Evgeny. He taught her how to use a gun with a few skills. Sadly Evgeny after finding out his daughter died. He chose to die in his bed.


Barry made it to the island to meet up with Natalia. He made sure to follow her trail. Eventually he met up with Alex Wesker. He became determinate to stop her for good. Moira was alive & well thanks to Evgeny. Claire fired a rocket to kill Alex before escaping with Barry, Moira & Natalia. During the aftermath Barry adopts Natalia officially becoming his third daughter.

14. A several related events (2012-2013)

The president dies who was a close friend of Leon. Helena teams up with Leon to investigate the new virus. Later on they realize a man named Derek Simmons is behind everything. Carla sent an unpleasant surprise to Simmons causing him to mutate. After several encounters Simmons dies clearly both their names.


Chris was going through a difficult time in his life. The last few missions being the only survivor has left it's toll on him. An member from BSAA named Piers Nivans convinced him to do a mission. His main objective was to arrest Ada Wong. Later on they found out about their ultimate creation called Haos. During this encounter Piers becomes infected but was able to maintain his humanity. In order to help his commanding officer Chris to escape.


Sherry Birkin now an government agent was task with finding the only person immune to the new virus. Jake Muller ended up being that man becoming her top priority. A monster named Ustanak chasing Jake to capture him. Neo Umbrella captures them to use his DNA to make C-Virus even deadlier. Although Jake had many questions about his father Wesker. He decided to save humanity with Sherry's help. Jake went a lot cheaper for his blood than he originally wanted out of kindness. This blood was the cure to C-Virus.


Ada was determine to put an end to Simmons for good. She helps Leon out several times. Thanks to the wrong information, Ada has to be constantly on the run. She finishes off Carla aka Fake Ada. During the aftermath she located their laboratory to destroy it.

15. Daughters

In 2014, a mysterious little girl infects a family. Transforming most of them & Mia into monsters. This was the beginning to a series of tragedies.

16. Long Awaited Return

A black market dealer named Glenn Arias started a viral outbreak. Rebecca Chambers whose a college professor quickly figured out the a-virus. Some of Arias' people kidnapped Chambers. Chris got Leon on board with taking Arias down. Arias is planning to cause a bigger viral outbreak through trucks. At the same time using Rebecca to create a deadlier version of the virus. It took Chris & Leon working together to kill Arias. Rebecca sends out the information of a cure to stop the viral outbreak.

19. Bedroom, 21 and Nightmare aka the terrible end of Clancy
A lot of lost footage of an cameraman named Clancy was later recovered. The Baker family put Clancy through the worst kind of Hell imaginable.

18. Resident Evil VII: Biohazard

A few years later, a family mysteriously disappears. After Mia disappears, her husband Ethan goes to Louisiana. He discovers almost everyone he runs into isn't in their right mind. Later on two cures get made but Ethan was force to use one on Jack Baker. This forces Ethan to choose who to save. Although we all know he would quickly chose his wife. It turns out a BOW named Eveline manipulated people against their will including his wife. This led to Ethan killing Eveline. Ethan & Mia get saved by Chris Redfield.

19. End of Zoe & Not a Hero

Zoe's uncle Joe searched for a cure to save his niece from dying by the hands of Eveline. Around the same time Chris Redfield hunts Jack's son Lucas. There are reports of newer moldy creatures in both incidents.

Top 5 Favorite Anime Shinigamis

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, when we think about death gods or in Japan as Shinigamis. The very concept brings intense terror down your souls. I really wanted to attempt capturing that by making my personal Top 5 Favorite Anime Shinigamis list. I'm sure this list will be different for everyone. This is only strictly absolutely my own opinion only folks.

5. Botan (Yu Yu Hakusho)

We kick off this list with a well known anime shinigami Botan. Along with delivering souls to the afterlife. She also has to help Yusuke & the others during their cases. Of course her abilities isn't meant for combat. She can alter her clothes on the spot. Botan reports everything to her boss no matter how crazy it gets.

4. Professor Stein (Soul Eater)

One of my personal favorite anime mentor characters. Professor Stein is absolutely amazing in every sense of the word. He took himself a part & reattached his entire body back together. Stein has a unique soul to counter anyone's soul wavelength making him a god in his own right. He is excellent at combat even without a weapon partner. This guy is someone you really don't want coming after you.

3. Grell (Black Butler)

One of my wife's favorite anime characters. Grell briefly went by the name Jack the Ripper. He enjoys cutting people up with his chainsaw. In Black Butler's universe, instead of a regular scythe to kill people. These shinigamis can use whatever weapon meant for the job. There are a few things that will annoy them about that. Along with collecting souls, they are required to research every person on their death list. They must call it right or they lose their jobs. Every shinigami must kept their scythes at all times. This guy is crazy for all the wrong reasons. One of the very few beings capable of killing the demon butler Sebastian.

2. Kenpachi Zaraki (Bleach)

Even before mastering Shikai & Bankai. Kenpachi Zaraki already was a well feared name among soul reaper captains. This guy did a rare difficult third option of becoming a soul reaper captain by defeating his previous one. Kenpachi is widely known for having massive amount of raw power. This guy enjoys a good battle even close of dying kind. More recently his powers greatly increased to insane levels. Although his Bankai was briefly used in the manga at the worst possible time. We do know according to his battle against Gremmy up til now. All of this was mere child play for him. Kenpachi already had one of the toughest soul reaper bodies. Believe it or not that eyepatch is another limiter keeping his insane power down enough to maybe enjoy a battle. Even having the majority limiter for the world of the living, Kenpachi is still one of the most of his kind.

1. Ryuk (Death Note)

Ryuk is a shinigami like many of his kind. He owns a death note that holds possibly thousands of human souls. Either he, another shinigami or humans can write anyone's name down in the death note. Within the time limit will kill that person. Ryuk allowed Light to play out some ridiculous scenarios that make you enjoy his job as a shinigami. Nothing of our world can harm him & you can't use the death note to kill him since he doesn't have a last name. Their main law is to not save a life. In doing so will kill the shinigami & by accident add all those souls in terms of time to that person. We know this because of Misa since it happened to her. Ryuk can freely fly between our world & theirs. Ryuk also has a connection to the death note being able to track it at all times. Only those who touched the death note can see his kind. Thanks to Light, Shinigamis do have the power to kill you in such horrible ways. Maybe it is just me but I really enjoy this guy.

Ranking Alternate Dracula Movies

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I might be going a little out of the box. I figured to do alternate Dracula movies. They could be loosely based on the novel of the same name or a original story. Regardless all these following movies isn't simply named Dracula. I will rank all the ones I seen off hand from worst to best.

To clarify there is so many movies called Dracula that it is impossible to cover them all. I am only talking about similar movies that are based or inspired by Dracula. Obviously how I go about the entire ranking is strictly my opinion only. Considering a ridiculous amount of vampire movies exists. There is no where near the limit of alternate takes of Dracula.

8. Dracula 3000

I already hammered the crap out of this really bad movie a while back. Dracula is on board a space ship that already sounds horrible. Actually I can't honestly name a single good thing in this movie. Please avoid this blood sucking movie at all costs.

7. Dracula Untold

I was very surprised Universal removed this movie from their Dark Universe. I am aware some people actually like this movie. Personally I hate everything about it. Dracula became a vampire over a tragedy caused by the Turks. In doing so becomes evil for a few centuries. This is like them trying to make Dracula into a dark super hero character. I am very sorry for talking out of matters here. Dracula is one of the evilest beings in fictional history. Why in any palm of existence would Dracula care about us humans? Just makes as much sense as vampires shining in sun light within Twilight series. You know what forget that Twilight isn't a true vampire portrayal. This movie clearly doesn't know what it's trying to be. I felt a lot of major changes could've helped this movie.

6. Dracula 2000

I am aware a lot of people dislike this movie a lot. All three movies in that series lies on the cover about Wes Craven's involvement. We are already starting off with some unnecessary crap. Gerald Butler was fresh into acting at the time. I seen him in better movies like Law Abiding Citizen, 300 & Gods of Egypt. He just wasn't the right actor to play Dracula. I do like they wanted this to be set in modern times. Sadly this movie quickly becomes boring with okay kills. If I wanted to die watching out of boredom then I would do something else. I felt this movie doesn't have the spirit of a true Dracula movie. This movie's version of Dr. Van Helsing wasn't great. Dracula effortlessly surviving some of the most fatal vampire weaknesses ruins the movie.

5. Van Helsing

This movie could've been the precursor to Universal's Dark Universe. Van Helsing is more of a original story that has a few horror movie icons. Sadly vampires kinda suck in this movie. I mean come on Frankenstein's Monster & the Wolf Man are more entertaining than Dracula. OMG I really don't care for Dracula in this movie. Just like I said in Dracula 2000, he survives most vampire weaknesses with no problem. I will say in terms of telling the story & a few minor improvements it is better than Dracula 2000. Oh guess how Dracula dies in this movie? Van Helsing has to become a werewolf that Dracula can't control to bite him in the neck. Are you guys kidding me were they on crack when they thought of this maybe they were who really knows anymore.

4. Blade: Trinity

Blade: Trinity is a follow up to Blade II that finally brings in Dracula. Oh wait he is called Drake now what? This movie may be the weakest out of the Blade movie trilogy. Some surprising humor helps with upsetting parts. Although Drake is very powerful for a vampire. I do like his transform state to a degree. This movie does a great job giving Dracula a new creative direction. This version is more about killing & fighting true warriors. In fact Drake hates his own kind more than anything. Drake's performance does need work. I will say this is one of the better alternate Dracula movies.

3. The Monster Squad

More recently The Monster Squad is a cult classic. Similar to Van Helsing, Dracula commands some horror movie icons. This movie is surprisingly meant for everyone. There are parts for kids while others for adults. At the same time a family could sit down together to watch it. Not many horror movies can pull that off. I will say this is a great movie for many good reasons. I do agree with many people Dracula couldn't been better. Just like Van Helsing, every monster is done better than Dracula. Am I seeing a possible theme going on or no?

2. The Batman vs. Dracula

Truth be told there exists two unofficial 60s Batman vs. Dracula cross over movies. The Batman vs. Dracula is official since it was meant to conclude the events of the show The Batman. Dracula is mysterious that makes you curious to see what he will do next. Honestly this is a very good movie for what it is. The Batman vs. Dracula movie itself states the obvious batman vs. batman. This movie may not be as violent as majority of my choices. Dracula is amazing in every sense of the word.

1. Nosferatu (1922)

By now this should've been obvious. Nosferatu is a classic vampire movie that so many consider as one of the absolute greatest ever made. One of the original movie adaptations of the novel that so happens to be unofficial. This led to a lawsuit where most copies got destroyed. Somehow some copies survived many years later to become public domain. I believe it was close to that time a remake of Nosferatu got made. Although that version is official allowing stuff that got altered in the original version. Despite that the in movie texts still stays the actual character names. Count Dracula's name got to changed to Count Orlok. One interesting note is a character late in Hellsing anime named Incognito is inspired by Count Orlok. Yes this is a silent movie but it really does play to it's strengths. This movie is a master piece that every vampire fan needs to see. Nosferatu is very good for an early 20s movie. I really can't do this movie enough justice it really is that damn good.

Bad Horror Movie Sequel Wednesdays #2 Jack Frost 2

Happy 4th of July, I decided to release this earlier on a Tuesday to enjoy the holiday. Don't worry I got a huge list of horror movie sequels to cover.

Hi everyone I'm Jack Red, I just changed plans on what you almost got this Wednesday. I remembered one of the absolute worst horror movie sequels I ever seen. It is so bad that not even the movie hides from it sheer awfulness. I am talking about Jack Frost 2 that not many people have seen. The original Jack Frost which shouldn't be confused with similar title movies. Involves another Chucky rip off that becomes a living killer snowman that goes around killing people. This concept by itself is already ridiculous to not be scary.


Right off the bat my first two problems are obvious. The title is not only too long for a horror movie but also one of the worst for a horror movie sequel. This front cover is hilariously bad for many reasons. At least with the original Jack Frost cover looked scary. This is much worse than the previous movie. Let's be honest there isn't anything particularly good about this movie at all. The acting took a notable step down. Many death scenes are stuff right out of cartoons like The Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry. For example, Jack transforms himself from the top of a tree into a giant block of ice to kill a woman.

Oh yeah he makes his own mutant killer snowball children. I really couldn't help noticing they're a little too similar to those creatures from Critters series. They're roughly the same size with similar teeth that act the same. Clearly Jack Frost 2 doesn't even take itself seriously. They actually allowed an actor to fall thrown the set of the movie to remain in the movie. Jack was tone down a lot to be more like a cartoon character. Yes he still curses but most of his new lines sucks. Should I mention that this is taking place on Christmas during some people's vacations. In real life in a short filming period it actually rained the entire time.

The original Jack Frost wasn't in hot demand like many horror movie classics. Why was it so damn necessary to make such a horrible sequel? This movie has one of the absolute stupidest weaknesses for any horror movie villain. Originally heat & anti freeze were his weaknesses until a fight with the sheriff. Parts of that police officer's DNA fused with his making Jack immune to both those weaknesses. Yet he gains a fatal weakness to are you ready for this. Drum rolls please.... bananas yes you heard me correctly.

Jack having too much bananas causes him to explode. This by itself already further ruins any chances this movie had left. The special effects are some of the worst I seen in a horror movie sequel. For example Jack throws a snowball at a man's arm that blown it off in one hit. A lot of terrible characters in this movie. This movie may only be watchable to those constantly searching for very bad horror movies. Otherwise I highly recommend avoiding this movie at all costs.
