Chicken Assassin: Reloaded (2016)
Chicken Assassin: Reloaded is an updated version of an old game. Parts of this sorta came off being an mobile game. I hope you love clicking a lot because that's mostly what you're doing here. Usually I don't play clicker games because it's little to no effort for mostly boring games. Somehow this particular one kept my interest.
Not to mention, this game is surprisingly funny too. The story involves this chicken guy trying to save his girl from a doctor. Who kinda looks like the Monopoly guy I'm not kidding. You will lose a lot at this game. Thankfully you get to keep experience regardless to help you improve your chances. You get to use souls to purchase upgrades.
The game has plenty of methods to getting more souls. There's a couple levels that offer some creativity among em. There's a lot of bosses with mostly mini bosses. You virtually are fighting hordes of enemies in every level until the boss is defeated. You can customize your character in multiple ways. Some of which will also help improve your chances.
Such as stuff you can wear as well as wielding weapons. Outfits wise they gotten quite creative, I loved that!!! Some levels you will feel your hand or hands feeling the intenseness of the game play. You may wanna take a break following a level or two. I didn't figure out how to pause the game honestly. There's a lot of upgrades that will take hours to get em all.
You also have Boss Raid that requires additional stuff before doing. I only done the first one prior to this review. You would be amaze how fast you level up in this too. I personally prefer games that speed up the leveling from those that takes forever to level up. Not to directly insult RPG fans in that department. You get the bare amount of story imaginable.
Sadly after finishing what technically was the last level. You get this weird cliff hanger into going to the past fighting Vikings. After you beat that stage which could take a lot of attempts to do so. Guess what virtually nothing follows it. The game also offers a harder variation of that level being endless. I rather every level had the option to do endless like Brotato.
Yeah Brotato will be getting reviewed very soon as well I was keeping that as a surprise until now. Back to this. Chicken Assassin: Reloaded simply does wonders. I can't really criticize much due to the later upgrades fixes those problems. Yes the enemies can be a little cheap at times. You always will have a fighting chance in this.
Achievements are surprisingly straight forward with a few interesting throw away ones. Those being direct social media links to the developers responsible for this. I do love you also have the option to beat up a pot. Including upgrades you aren't alone doing that. You may take a little time getting a lot of souls for upgrades.
This was notably better than New Joe & Mac to me. Mostly you are clicking the hell out of your mouse while playing. At the same time, I gotten way more excited. The game does have some rather funny jokes thrown in. Even if I had bought this I still would've been happy about that. The fact I gotten this free virtually priceless!!!
