In order to determine which Wesker is superior? Now obviously I don't wanna compare all five Masterminds to just Albert Wesker. Let's be honest, that would end badly for him. Also keeping it in their family is the way to go for many reasons. I will confirm both in their respective horror asymmetric multiplayer games is fun to play as.
This will be very different from my short video comparison regarding Nemesis. He's the Ultimate card for Nicholai in Resident Evil: Resistance. Therefore, he only comes out for short period of times in matches while Nemy in DbD virtually all the time. Still a more interesting comparison than Jill Valentine in both games no lie.
It's safe to say both are among the best in their respective games Killer/MM wise. With the possible exception of Add-Ons, virtually everything can be used on every killer in DbD. This is similar for Alex in Resident Evil: Resistance with the solo exception being her skills. Add-Ons either increase effects or speed things up to better their chances.
In vice versa, Alex has three main sections for her skills. The top tier strictly meant for her Ultimate card being Yateveo an huge mutant plant. The other two sections are more directly effecting Alex in matches. As previously mentioned, an MM build is much bigger than that of an DbD killer build. Alex also gets equipment up to four slots that has a huge variety to choose from.
Oh wait there's more, Alex also has a deck with five categories. You can choose up to ten cards per a build. Every MM builds also has exclusive Area Cards. Although, Spencer does have Omniscience that allows him to use other MM's Area Cards during matches. When you reach Areas 2 and 3 respectively, another card gets added to your deck during matches.
Wesker is virtually alone in matches. He can infect people just not as effectively as The Plague or Nemesis. One of two things Alex specializes in is infection. She also specializes in traps making her very dangerous. Maps is set up very differently between the two games. Ultimately, the main goals for both sides remains virtually the same.
The survivors got to escape while killers or the Mastermind prevents them from doing so. There's more stuff survivors do to escape in Resident Evil: Resistance's case. Also there's no hiding from the Mastermind. Yes both of them do have voice overs but Alex has way more of them. Albert has to work harder in comparison.
I recently gotten the best rank you can possibly get with both of them. I felt both games made them both incredibly fun to play in matches. I will be honest, despite being a bigger fan of Albert Wesker myself. He's one of my favorite villain characters in the entire franchise. I got to give this to his sister in Resident Evil: Resistance.
Look Alex controls cameras with so much more. In DbD, you got to make most perks teachable. In order to use em on other characters. Which is a rather tedious process if you ask me. Yes Albert is a strong killer in DbD. I also can say Alex is a strong MM in Resident Evil: Resistance. She simply has more including outfits you can use points to unlock.
Yes you may not be able to directly choose what you unlock on the cosmetic chests. Also they do cost 50,000 points per a chest. You also can earn free chests to open as well. The entire point is virtually little to no real money is needed to do this. In vice versa, Albert's outfits will cost you Auric Cells. Which does cost you real money to get those.
I'm not done yet, the cosmetic chests also gives voice overs. emotes, and sprays too. Personally, I am so sick of getting these damn sprays myself. I rather have the other stuff those chests gives you. A lot more outfits wore by most of the creatures in the game. Alex can directly control most creatures as well. Hell they can do some rather interesting animations at times lol.
It also doesn't help Albert still an victim of the looping strategy. For those either not into DbD or isn't familiar with the term. Looping is an strategy where survivors constantly gets chased by the killer. They often vault over things while wasting the killer's time to better their team's odds of escaping. Which is virtually not an issue in Resident Evil: Resistance.
Alex Wesker in Resident Evil: Resistance is the superior one!!!
