It's an indie boxing game with Muppet style characters. The actual visuals is what everyone so surprised by. This game looks absolutely amazing!!! They do show some of the game play it's quite impressive stuff. It actually looks realistic well everything else around the characters I meant. This also meant to be a parody boxing game.
I can tell some of the dialogue for your manager inspired by Rick & Morty show. I already wanna play Leftovers KO! soon. I am even considering if I can get both of them in one go for Steam I would route. I do like we get training sections. I don't want to play an boxing game without it. There's a few good reasons though.
It does bring some variety into the game play. In some boxing games these can help you more in difficult later matches. Not to mention also helps prevents the game play getting too repetitive. Obviously they got a lot of cut scenes. Not everyone going to let those play during an 1st run. It's technically more of it's thing than Leftovers KO! being very inspired by Nintendo's Punch-Out!!
I gotta mention early in the trailer. The way he walks across a bridge priceless lol. The trailer does show us a handful of opponents you'll face in the game. It's difficult to say if this coming out this year or not. Already not expecting this to quickly get onto GOG like Leftovers KO! previously done. You could pretend it's an Muppets boxing game.
"Yeah I wanna know Kermit the hell out!!!" "Also Missy Piggy it's about time you go down bitch!!!" Some of you knew I had to do that Muppets joke lol. The story is this guy wants to save his orphanage. He decides to join an boxing tournament to use the prize money to save the orphanage. I don't know if The Three Stooges were inspiration for that or not.
Felt That Boxing seems like it's going to be an fun boxing game. Boxing has plenty of differences from wrestling you watch on TV or streaming services. Although both of them requires the same style ring for matches to take places in. Unless in wrestling's case a few particular matches occurs. I also noticed we don't get to see much of Ezra's personality.
Which I felt was a good move because keeping that a huge surprise is a good idea. If they reveal too early how he's actually like. Some people may get uninterested in playing the game. Sadly we live in a world where so many gamers are rather entitled with ridiculous standards. Then again it's thanks to games like this.
There's still some life left in gaming. Indie developers are truly amazing in recent years. Also the fact I'm seeing more actual creativity than in video games developed by bigger game companies. I do think this boxing game going to blow people away. Especially going by that trailer a lot of people are quite interested.
The fact they are using puppets of that style for such an sports video game is quite impressive. I also hope this gets on Xbox consoles as well. I do think we need more of a variety among some sports within video games. Eventually you'll find something interesting to you. Even if it's a rather unexpected take on the concept.
Felt That Boxing seems promising from that trailer. I felt the best boxing video game experience I had was through Wii Sports. I do think this may have a chance. My main concern is balancing of the difficulties. Also a practice mode for training sections could help a lot as well. In all honestly, this boxing game should be a fun time!!!
